Database of the Amazon aromatic plants and their essential oils
(2009) MAIA, José Guilherme Soares; ANDRADE, Eloisa Helena de Aguiar
The aromatic flora of the Amazon has been inventoried for 30 years. In this sense, were made over 500 field trips to collect over 2500 plants and to obtain more than 2000 essential oils and aroma concentrates, all of them submitted to GC and GC-MS. This work led to the creation of a database for the aromatic plants of the Amazon, which catalogs general information about 1250 specimens. The database has allowed the publication of the chemical composition of the oils and aromas of more than 350 species, associated with a larger number of chemical types. The essential oils of many species offer optimum conditions for economic exploitation and use in national and international market of fragrances, cosmetics, agricultural and household pesticides.

Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) are one of the deep learning techniques that, due to the computational advancement of recent years, have enhanced the field of computer vision by enabling substantial gains in various classification problems, especially those involving digital images. Given the advantages of using these networks, a variety of applications for automatic plant diseases identification have been developed for specialized assistance or automated screening tools, contributing to more sustainable farming practices and improved food production security. In this context, this work aims to propose a methodology for the classification of multiple pathologies from distinct plant species, having as input a database composed of digital images of plant diseases. Initially, this methodology involved image preprocessing activities on the plant disease database to provide the appropriate input for selected CNN models (VGG16, RestNet101v1, ResNet101v2, ResNetXt50 and DenseNet169), as well as to generate ten new bases, ranging from 50 to 66 classes with greater representativeness, to submit the models to different situations. After model training, a comparative study was conducted based on widely used classification metrics such as test accuracy, f1-score, and area under the curve. To attest the significance of obtained results, the Friedman nonparametric statistical test and two post-hoc procedures were performed, which showed that ResNetXt50 and DenseNet169 obtained superior results when compared with VGG16 and ResNets.

Plantão psicológico no Brasil (1997-2009): saberes e práticas compartilhados
(2011-06) SOUZA, Bianca Nascimento de; SOUZA, Airle Miranda de
The purpose of this study was to investigate scientific production on Emergency Psychological Services in Brazil between 1997 and 2009 by trawling scientific, electronic databases, using the descriptor Emergency Psychological Services. Thirty-eight abstracts were obtained, analyzed based on the following categories: distribution, authorship, institutional affiliation, source, year, publication support, target population, theoretical approach, nature of work and geographic region of the country. The results suggest that the electronic databases are currently an important source of access to production on Emergency Psychological Services in Brazil. It is in the southeast where we see a prevalence in production on this subject, as well as the use of the Person-Centered Approach, revealing a greater emphasis on research related to dissertations, with the greatest level of production being noted in 2005 and 2006.
