Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise crítica das metodologias gerais de mapeamento geotécnico visando formulação de diretrizes para a cartografia geotécnica no trópico úmido e aplicação na região metropolitana de Belém escala 1:50.000(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2001-11-09) COSTA, Tony Carlos Dias da; ABREU, Francisco de Assis Matos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9626349043103626; GANDOLFI, Nilson; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2605833412394930This thesis brings within its scope the critical analysis of the main national and international methodologies of geotechnical cartography (IAEG, Australian, French, EESC-USP, IPT, IG-UFRJ and IG-SP), as well as the classification of a set of rules for the elaboration of geotechnical maps and charts in the Brazilian Humid Tropics. It also presents geotechnical mapping at the scale of 1:50 000, of the Metropolitan Region of Belém, in the State of Pará, comprising the municipalities of Belém, Ananindeua and Marituba. The methodology is based on the above-mentioned cartographic (conventions/ rules), and is presented in the form of eleven cartographic items: a documentary map of the Metropolitan Region of Belém, at a scale of 1:50 000; a documentary map of the central area of Belém, at a scale of 1:10 000; a gradient map; a geological map; a map of unconsolidated materials; a soil use map; a map of institutional areas and conservation units; a map of floodplain and mainland areas; a map of zones of permanent protection of water bodies; a chart of the preferential areas for the exploration of natural construction materials; and a chart of the preferential areas for the installation of sanitary landfills.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Avaliação da exatidão cartográfica de dados SRTM e atualização da carta plani-altimétrica Salinópolis - NE do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009-05-22) MARTINS, Elainy do Socorro Farias; SOUZA FILHO, Pedro Walfir Martins e; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3282736820907252The Brazilian topography information, in 1:100.000 scale, covering only 75,39 % of the country, leaving many empty mapping, especially in Amazon region. This information was derived by aerophotogrammetric methods, applied in aerials photos of the 60 to 80 decades. Because the complexity of applied methods and others technician problems, most of planialtimetric maps are outdated, which impossibility the use of them. Nowadays, the topography information is largely derived from digital elevation models, for example, imageries of Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM). In this paper, the SRTM was analyzed based on altimetric Cartography Accuracy Standard (PEC), in the update of Salinopolis map of 1982. The analysis of SRTM altimetry, on Salinópolis region, showed that it can be used in class C scale 1:50,000 and Class A scale 1:100,000. Since the SRTM images are compatible with the scale and class of Salinópolis map, was used the original version of the SRTM (90 meters spatial resolution) to update altimetry and Landsat TM-5 imagries on planimetric base, following Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics parameters. With the update was found several differences, mainly in relation to planimetry. The update is very important, especially in coastal regions due to the dynamics and intensity of the different natural processes and man-made active, in addition, this methodology could be the basis for the upgrade of other maps and generation of new maps without this in of information, thus resolving the issue of lack of topographical information in certain ranges. Keywords: SRTM, cartography update, topographic charts, Amazon.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Barcarena cidade-obra: cartografia de uma cidade entontecida(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-03-09) CARDOSO, Sebastião de Jesus; COSTA, Luizan Pinheiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5390750292706184This work composes on an artistic, aesthetic and critic reading about Barcarena. The guiding question of this work was to demonstrate that Bruno de Menezes was a poet-cartographer, elucidating the relationship between fiction and cartography; investigating how spaces influenced the stylistics of his poetry; and establishing a comparison between the mentioned spaces as they are today and how they were at the time of his writings. In this sense, it contributes to the academic community by advancing studies on this black, peripheral, self-taught poet, who was a precursor of Modernism in the capital of Pará, in addition to continuing research on Literary Cartography, which, as we have shown, is still in a phase of deepening. As methodology, we utilized the main theories of literary cartography, synthesizing them into a table based on the Malha de Saberes created by Fernandes et al. (2021), presenting maps according to the theories of Moretti (2003) for spatial analysis, and classifying spatiality in the poems using the postulates of Ozíris (2007). The outcome of this research was a correlation between visual and textual elements, featuring maps and tables that synthesize the author's ability to portray the city in poetry. The reader will observe that the most recurring spaces in the poems were the neighborhoods of Jurunas, Cidade Velha, Campina, Umarizal, Telégrafo, Pedreira, and Sacramenta (Nazaré and Guamá appear a few times), with individuals who existed in the periphery of Belém during the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries, yet whose existence was not recorded in official documents. This is the beginning of what we hope will be a return to society through the provision of maps and other technological resources for the public. Thus, this work aimed to show that the spaces of Belém have memory, narrating a portion of the history of the occupation of these places.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Cartografia da dinâmica urbana de uso e ocupação do solo no município de Breu Branco-PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-02-25) SILVA, Wagner Luiz Gonçalves da; ROCHA, Gilberto de Miranda; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2436176783315749Breu Branco is a municipality in the state of Pará located in the Tucuruí microregion. The municipality became independent in 1991. However, its spatial organization occurred much earlier to meet the demand for housing of the compulsorily displaced due to the increase in the Tocantins river floodplain. The municipality experienced rapid population growth. The initial spatial configuration of the city occurred in the southern portion, between the PA-263 highway and the Tocantins river. Subsequently, with urban saturation, the growth of the county seat reached the other side of the PA-263 highway which is currently the northern side of the county. This expansion process has generated urban occupations that are currently neighborhoods such as Santa Catarina, Conquista and Liberdade. Recently, new urban centers have been emerging. Breu Branco's urban growth is horizontal and spreads along two axes of expansion. The municipal master plan is the document that should contain strategies of environmental zoning and zones of social interest that subsidize the public power in regulating urban growth and environmental protection. The population factor, associated with land price, urban topography and the lack of environmental policies are factors that accelerated the growth of the city. In this work, we use cartographic and remote sensing techniques for the construction of maps between (1996-2006) and (2006-2016), seeking to understand the urban transformations of Breu Branco.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Uma cartografia das sexualidades: entre linhas e mapas dos afetos na escola(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-11-16) SANTOS, Helane Súzia Silva dos; BRITO, Maria dos Remédios de Brito; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6896268801860211; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0478-5285Sexuality is a classic theme, on the theme there are several studies with different theoretical perspectives. In this thesis, which is found between nonuniversalizing lines, it is present. It is argued that sexuality is thought of as a desiring machine, drawn by flexible, molecular and escape lines, which fissure the segments consolidated by the school machine, configuring leaks, resistance processes, as well as an aesthetic and a politics of existence, That in-between spaces of the school empower other ways of feeling and becoming. It is understood that desire is not lack, but production, creation, invention; Being crossed by social fields and processes of individuation. For the study, it is questioned, how do the bodies experience the sexualities in the inter-school space? The main objective of the study is to experiment with a mapping of sexualities in and between school spaces that enhance other modes of existences beyond identity forms. The study was inspired by the Philosophy of Difference of Deleuze and Guattari, taking them as creative intercessors of readings and thought. The philosophy of these authors is a trigger for ideas. Pragmatically this thesis part of encounters with persons, literature, images, narratives and with the scholar every day in it`s different movements (classrooms, recreation areas, scholar walls surroundings) on basic education institutions at Belem do Para, crossed by the sexuality theme. From those encounters/strengths, are made the sexuality cartography that cross and are crossed by affections. The cartography, being here understood as a procedure, or even, as a composition plan, that`s made by the openings, by intensity zones .Isn`t searched a script as priority that offers a straight path for the test; the cartography gets in a field of virtuosities, because the existing ways configure intensities and movements that are built by assemblages. It`s behaviors are on encounters/affections and it strengths. Those impose quality potency on movements, that are from heights (affections/encounters) and lengths (speed movements, slowness and rest). Open sexuality maps configure the imagegraphys and narrographys that fissure the scholar space putting sexualities as desiring bodies‟ movements. The text invites the readers to enter by the openings and make their own (de)compositions, making others possible vitalities in relation with the sexualities on the scholar under-space.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Uma Cartografia do lixo em Belém (PA): distribuição espacial de depósitos irregulares de lixo e o dever do estado para o desenvolvimento sustentável(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-08-17) GONÇALVES, Diego Andrews Hayden; CORBIN, Hisakhana Pahoona; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3256845970027095This research sought to analyze the spatial distribution of informal deposits of solid waste (dumpsites) and the State's role in terms of waste management while seeking to foster socioenvironmental sustainability of Belém. For this reason, a mixed methods case study was undertaken, as qualitative and quantitative data were collected from multiple sources. The research confirmed that the spatial dispersion of garbage in Belém does not follow a specific dispersion pattern. In this sense, numerous small-sized garbage dumps are spread across different neighborhoods, especially the so-called peripheral ones, on heavily trafficked avenues, on cycle lanes, on sidewalks, in front of commercial establishments, on deteriorated infrastructure, in front of uninhabited residences, at the entrances to small residential streets, and the banks of urban canals. As it relates to waste management, the municipality has been looking for ways to address illegal dumping of waste in the city, but it has not been successful in solving this problem, which is characterized by a range of socio-environmental, legal, and other consequences.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Cartografias do patrimônio cultural do bairro do Jurunas (Belém-Pa): espaço, tempo e identidade no ensino de História(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-12-03) CORRÊA, João Nazareno Pereira; BASTOS, Carlos Augusto de Castro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5957760591235451This text deals with the steps taken towards a sociocultural cartography of the Jurunas neighborhood (Belém-Pará), according to the cognitive point of view of students from two classes of Fundamental Maior (8th and 9th Years), from Escola Vereador Gonçalo Duarte. Research / teaching strategy, mainly, focused on moving elements of the local history of this urban space and its cultural heritage with the knowledge of school history, through the use and analysis of mental maps, textual productions and photographic records formulated by them subjects / students. The application of this mapping process or didactic sequence, emerged from the favorable meeting of my teaching experiences with the scientific theory of History Teaching, especially from the reflections emanating from the perspective of local history, the plural notion of heritage and important aspects of the field Cartography. That said, I can say that this research effort was able to glimpse the gestures that such students practice to territorialize the spaces in which they live and, with that, offered the possibility to unveil new scenarios of living heritage or in continuous movement of this southern region of the Capital of Pará.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A cidade e as águas: os impactos da expansão urbana na bacia do rio Tabocal, Melgaço, Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-10-10) MONTE, Marilene Costa Viegas do; MANESCHY, Rosana Quaresma; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5914095913079907; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4432-7331; SOARES, Daniel Araújo Sombra; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6446474471044694; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5208-2429Urban expansion along water courses has generated socio-environmental impacts related to forms of occupation and use of natural resources. Over the years, the municipality experienced an accelerated population growth, a consequence of the migration of people from other municipalities of Pará and the northeast region of Brazil in search of work and housing near the works. The spatial growth has a strong relationship with the implementation phases of the Tucuruí HPP. In addition to the population factor, three other factors were important for the Breu Branco spatial growth: the price of land, the topography of the expansion area and the lack of environmental protection policies the municipality. In this work, we used cartographic tools and remote sensing for the construction of maps in three periods 1996, 2006 and 2016. The results obtained show new spatial dynamics, such as the duplication of the urban area, saturation of the projected nucleus of the city towards the north, conversion of forest and preservation areas (APP) into occupations, real estate concentration and speculation about new areas, from the point of view. population view an increase of 58% of the population in twenty years.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Dos siglos de cartografía en la frontera del alto Rio Negro-Vaupés entre Colombia y Brasil 1774-1976(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-04) BECERRA, Gabriel CabreraItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Embutidos gastronômicos de estrelita e uisquisito: memorial e poética cênica de uma palhaçaria agridoce(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-06-23) MELO, Priscila Romana Moraes de; LIMA, Wladilene de Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4769018199137074With desire to eat, Embedded Gastronomic of Estrelita and Uisquisito: Memorial and Poetics Scenic a Bittersweet Palhaçaria is a research work and creative process that joins the pan real and invented this my cooking, using food and the kitchen environment as sources of inspiration to get to writing and scene of a Palhaçaria Bittersweet. In the Environmental Impact Studies and in the Environmental Impact Report of hydroelectric dams, the access and use of the water resources of the affected populations are not taken into account. Thus, this thesis aimed to study the water vulnerability of the populations living in the lake region of Tucuruí Hydroelectric Power Plant, in the State of Pará (PA). The question that led to the research hypothesis was: Is water vulnerability a social effect of hydroelectric construction? The analysis was carried out with the support of Social Cartography and Social Impact Assessment, associated with the use of the Institutional Analysis and Development Framework created by Elinor Ostrom, the Qualitative Comparative Analysis method and the fuzzy logic, operationalized by the software fsQCA 2.0. Socioeconomic, institutional and environmental conditions were considered as independent variables (X), in which the precariousness found in these conditions would reflect the water vulnerability that the residents of the Tucuruí hydroelectric dam would be exposed. The results confirmed the hypothesis of this thesis where the construction of the Tucuruí hydroelectric dam caused the water vulnerability of the inhabitants of the lake to a degree of "partially vulnerable" (0,1), and that the socioeconomic, institutional and environmental variables are necessary conditions for explain the phenomenon, however, are only sufficient when analyzed together.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ideadores de Bictaxi: cartografias de experiências estéticas em modos de viver e fazer bicitaxis na Veneza Marajoara (Afuá-PA)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-07-21) SIMÕES, Vanessa Cristina Ferreira; PACHECO, Agenor Sarraf; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5839293025434267Afua is a municipality located in Marajó of Forestry, State of Pará, where the main roads of the city are wooden bridges built over the river, which invades in times of marajoara wintering. This natural phenomenon, still causing flooding of the territory, its manifestation is celebrated as a feast among residents, referring to a way of life capable of interconnecting culture and nature. Given these characteristics, Afuá needed to recreate their primary means of urban transport, hence emerged the bicitaxi. Built from the need of residents permitted to use motorized vehicles given the structure of the city, in an area where bicycles prevail. The bicitaxi born from the union of two bicycles, fused by a metal frame. In this scenario, in this dissertation I present cartographies of experience of creating and experienced use with bicitaxi giving existence to other aesthetic and visual schemes. In her contribution, walked towards understanding how the bicitaxi is inserted in the daily Afuá and understand their dialogues with lifestyles built there; analyze new sensibilities and visualities regimes that constitute the exercise of creating and using bicitaxi, imbricated in aesthetic ecosystems; argue that this aesthetic is and how it articulates the cultural and symbolic dimensions of life in Afuá; and also to understand how these designers understand their creative processes and negotiate with local and global codes in order to make the bicitaxi. For that, I outlined a theoretical-methodological design which articulated the perspectives of Oral History, guiding the conduct of interviews with the afuaenses about their memories of the processes of creation and use of the vehicle, and Cartography, acting orientation-center study to moving map scenarios in which culture is built. Also dialogued with scholars of Cultural Studies, Postcolonial Thought and contemporary authors of Art and Design. It is related to my personal need of expansios, on refrain, from loneliness, that is só present on my clowning career. On this research, I desired to map clown women who act in the Amazon, and also to understand possible meanings for female comicality from life stories of these women, and to analyse the relationships that I can find with the Amazon territory, in wich they are situaded, present in their doings. This is a playful cartography, which plays with concepts, geographies and subjects that crosses nomad meetings with clown women who work in this Amazonian territory. The writing, embodied in the constant dialogue between theory and transcribed reports of forty-one participants, can be freely visited in five parts. On the first one, the reader finds my way of life that results on the meeting with the research theme and also the way chosen to research it, discussing the cartographic assumptions that I found as epistemological possibilities. Then, there are two moments, called Bem-Te-Vis, which are based on the structure of Deleuzian plateaus. The Bem-Te-Vis focus on the overlapping powers that guide the research, the female, the comic an Amazonian. I aboard the first two concurrently, while going through historical and social constructions about the common female roles, subverted by the clown, who is naturally transgressive. The third power is discussed separately, focusing on the Amazons present in the doings of the clown women found, that help me on mainstreaming the region, apart from my political positions against lack of acess, relative to the rest of the country and the lush image widespreaded on the midia. I recognize the difference at the Amazonian clown women through repetion in transdifference, that blurs my map of regional boundaries, in becoming-minority with the territory. Between the approach of the powers, I have written na invented history for the clown, which follows a personal need a political strategy by the end of silence. At the end, the reader finds the first chapter on the dissertation, where there are considerations about the Amazonian female clowning, undoing, on scene, my suitcase, full of what I have lived at the meetings, while I aboard the landscapes of gender and territory, found in paths on this research.
