The objective is to understand this phenomenon through the analysis of marriage records from 2376, where he studied the structure and profile of marriages that occurred in Belém, between 1995 and 2006. Seeking thus to evaluate the profiles of the spouses against the backdrop of social changes through which passed the Western societies in recent centuries, whose emergence of romantic literature, individualism as a value and different models of family arrangements, had a profound influence on the kind of choice affective-sexual individuals, and thus the ideal type of partner with whom they want / should marry. Methodologically the work is developed based on a review of anthropological literature that addresses the issue of marital school in social sciences, with emphasis on studies that support their historical and conceptual development; as well as a detailed analysis of the procedure of choice in the work of three British novelist Jane Austen ("Pride and Prejudice”, “Sense and Sensibility”, and “Emma”). It also highlights my research along the course of Groom of the Parish of Nossa Senhora de Nazaré, in Belém-PA, where I looked through the speech of its users, the experience of choice and sense of being chosen as a spouse. My proposal with this is trying to understand not only the selection profiles andspeeches about the spouse preference, but why they chose to view the conjugal union.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Quando é da família, é melhor!: família e casamento entre cearenses em Santarém-Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009) AGUIAR, Keila de Sousa; CANCELA, Cristina Donza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8393402118322730The presence of Brazilian northeasterns migrants in the Amazon region is historical fact that careful thinking about their interactions with other groups in the same area. A dialogue which has been much impacted by the New Natural Law Classical Theory’s arguments grounded in a reinterpretation of practical reason and marked, amidst other elements, by a rejection of the restrictive humenian conception of human reason. Nevertheless, this position is still scarcely known in Brazil with limited bibliographical material in Brazilian language. Baring this in mind, the goal of this work is to present the neoclassical doctrine on marriage as a basic human good contextualing it within the broader scope of practical reason, and applying some elements of political philosophy and jurisprudence. The research is all based on bibliographical material, specially the works of John Finnis, Germain Grisez and Robert George. Marriage, notwithstanding, has been particularly analyzed in Finnis’ thought. This dissertation is organized in three main axes, which are equivalent to each of the three chapters here presented: firstly, we present the New Natural Law’s metaethical and normative foundations, which, being the most fundamental basis of the arguments thereafter, is also the most dense chapter; secondly, we analyze the doctrine of marriage as a basic human good particularly in Finnis’ thought; finally, we discuss possible unfolding conclusions, problems and responsibilities to political community and legal reasoning.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A relação conjugal em debate: uma análise gestáltica(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011) VALE, Kamilly Souza do; PIMENTEL, Adelma do Socorro Gonçalves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4534230240595626The marital relationship is the subject of this research, highlighting the problem of identifying the couple's perceptions about what keeps the marriage. In general, to understand the reasons that kept the couple together. When searching for the marriage, the studies of gender subjectification is needed to understand the complexity of the influences, changes in society, echoed in the social roles and relationships between men and women. These changes reverberated socially, economically and culturally, leading to a crisis in masculinity, among other fields, the principles that guide the family and therefore the marriage in the care and choice to bear children. The theoretical and methodological procedures consisted of: a) project submission to the Ethics Committee of the Center for Health Sciences, b) selection of subjects by the researcher's network of relationships, c) telephone or in person with the primary informants for verbal agreement to join the study d) personal encounter with the subjects to explain the research objectives and deliver the term of consent, explanatory document which summarizes the goals of research, e) that the interviews were audio taped and transcribed. As the analysis it was considered the guidelines of Minayo (1992). The informants were three couples with 4-6 years of marriage, with children, aged between 30 and 40. Gestalt analysis was performed. The result points to the conclusion that marriage in postmodern society ceases to be a binding obligation by way of passing the permeate a healthy choice and favoring the emergence of autonomous elements such as love, trust, dialogue, listening and hence an interaction within intimate relationships healthier.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Relação entre ciúme romântico e satisfação conjugal(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-11-28) CARDOSO, Vanessa Alcântara; BRITO, Regina Célia Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5576436464955236In this study we aimed to measure the level of romantic jealousy of men and women who are in a loving relationship for at least 6 months, using the Scale of Romantic Jealousy - ECR as an instrument (Ramos , 2000). We also identified the perception of the satisfaction of the couple about their relationships according to Evolutionary Psychology, using the Questionnaire of Marriage and Relationship (MARQ) adapted by Russell and Wells (1993). We found that these variables have an important role in maintaining loving relationships by being major psychological mechanisms that evolved along the human phylogeny. The results showed that the degree of satisfaction of the sampled couples mainly fell into the “Satisfied Couples” and “Highly Satisfied” categories. We also found the five levels of romantic jealousy, the largest percentage concentrated in moderate level of jealousy. It was found that the variables are completely independent, refuting dropping claims that jealousy is bad for satisfaction in the relationship, and it contributes to the dissatisfaction of individuals in loving relationships. We can say only that it is one of the elements of the relationship necessary for the maintenance and custody of the partner, contributing to a union long enough to create offspring.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Sexo, casamento e família: o cotidiano da juventude do campo de Abaetetuba/Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-08) PEREIRA, Rosenildo da CostaThe present text is the result of a study that investigated the daily life of youth in the field of Agrarian Reform Settlement Agroextrativista St. John the Baptist in the City of Abaetetuba/Pará by addressing specific issues such as sex, marriage and family.
