Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Os amigos da branquinha: entre a repressão e a resistência(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-12) MARTINS, Amilcar de SouzaFrom 1930,with the emergence of Getulio Vargas to power was created a project of idealization of Brazilian workers, where habits such as the consumption of drinks should be controlado. No For this project of disciplinarization of worker gained strength in interventoria Magalhães Barata , which forbade the consumption and trade of brandy interfering in a common practice among the popular classes.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) As classes verbais da língua Paresi (Aruák)(Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi, 2017-12) BRANDÃO, Ana Paula BarrosThe goal of this paper is to describe the verb classes of Paresi, an Arawak language, spoken by approximately 3,000 people in the State of Mato Grosso, Brazil. In Paresi, verbs can be classified into intransitive, transitive and ditransitive. In general, intransitive verbs in Arawak languages are subclassified into: active intransitives, and stative intransitives. The division in the group of intransitives is syntactically marked, as subjects of stative intransitive and object of transitive are marked by the same form, while subjects of transitives take a different marking. The majority of Arawak languages exhibits semantic alignment, that is, the selection of agreement marking depends on the eventivity parameter. In Paresi, the division in the intransitives is morphologically marked as the following: a) some intransitive verbs take the same subject marking as transitive verbs (set A proclitics); b) other intransitive verbs take a different subject marking (set B proclitics). Semantically, verbs are classified into agentive and non-agentive. The semantic features of [agentivity] and [control] have an essential role in the assignment of verbos to subclasses. The data were collected during field research and the analysis is based on a functional-typological approach.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Controle de frequência de geração fotovoltaica considerando inércia virtual(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-01-30) RAMOS, Vanessa Menezes; NUNES, Marcus Vinícius Alves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9533143193581447The large-scale integration of intermittent sources of renewable energies, such as photovoltaic systems, into electrical power systems generates new technical issues, since such sources do not participate in frequency regulation because they do not exhibit inertia of rotation. The rapid frequency variation, normally found in networks with a high degree of integration of renewable generation, therefore causes greater difficulty in maintaining frequency stability, unlike conventional systems (for example Hydro and Thermal), where the inertia of the generators is sufficiently high , for most of these new systems this is not valid. In this context, the present dissertation will propose the use of the concept of "virtual inertia", which corresponds to a combination of control algorithms, electrical energy storage devices and power electronics applied to renewable sources, such as photovoltaics, connected to networks of power through inverters, which emulates the inertia of a conventional generation system. It will be presented a model based on a small linearized signal analysis, developed to evaluate the stability of a power control circuit when the photovoltaic generator provides frequency response and the inertial response emulated with photovoltaic systems by means of techniques based on the MPPT controller in the Displacement Method and the Droop control strategy in the time domain. This modeling is tested in an electric power system composed of synchronous machines and a large-scale photovoltaic power generation plant for the analysis of the effects of the control system in relation to frequency stability. The simulations performed with MATLAB/Simulink software consider different inertia constants for a condition of variation (decrease) in the electric frequency, caused by the insertion of loads in the electric system. Comparative results indicate that the impact of photovoltaic generation on the stability of the power system is greater when the power supplied by the conventional plant generator is lower. Results also prove that when the photovoltaic system is supplying power to the grid, its frequency decreases, affecting the stability and operation of the power system through the degradation of the frequency dynamics.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) O direito brasileiro atende às diretrizes de governança de incentivos fiscais para combate ao BEPS?(Universidade Católica de Brasília, 2020-06) SCAFF, Luma Cavalero de Macêdo; SILVA, Maria Stela Campos da; NOGUEIRA, Rodrigo BaiaThe development of a tax incentive control system is an especially problematic aspect for legal systems. An interesting way to improve understanding of the subject is to evaluate legal norms from studies and guidelines produced by international organizations. In this paper, the studies on governance of tax incentives produced in the context of Combating Erosion of the Tax Base and Transfer of Profits (BEPS), conducted by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), are adopted as a theoretical reference to answer the question: does the brazilian legal system comply with the guidelines of legal incentives to oppose BEPS? It is concluded that, although the system has standards that are in line with the guidelines, they are insufficient for their reception.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Entre o controle e a transgressão: a construção escolar das diferenças entre gêneros(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007) BRICIO, Vilma Nonato deArtigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Uma "kermesse essencialmente brasileira" no Largo Nazaré(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009-06) PANTOJA, VandaDissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Por rios e terras: a atuação dos comerciantes estrangeiros no comércio do Baixo Amazonas (c.1838-c.1870)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-02-28) MESQUITA, Joanderson Caldeira; CANCELA, Cristina Donza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8393402118322730The Province of Pará underwent significant transformations between 1838 and 1870. The 19th century was marked by attempts to control labor and commercial activities in the province. The commercial dynamics between the lower Amazon and the city of Belém favored the involvement of many foreign traders. The period is also characterized by attempts by authorities to diminish the privileges of foreign traders and increase provincial revenue. Authorities also tried to control illegal trade to prevent traders from dealing with cabanos and mocambeiros, which affected foreign traders whose workers were involved in negotiations with mocambeiros, although this control was not exclusive to foreigners. To minimize attempts to control illegal trade, the portuguese José Pinto de Campos and Antônio Caetano Maciel established relationships with the Caetano Correia Family. In this dissertation, we seek to evaluate the actions of foreign traders Joaquim José Cohen, Francisco Caetano Correia, José Pinto de Campos, Antônio Caetano Maciel, John Hislop, and João Fernandes in the lower Amazon. Our analysis is marked by the reopening period of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Pará and the stage that precedes the extraordinary demands for rubber in the international market, which occurred in the 1870s. For the research, criminal records, civil records, reports from the Province of Pará, travelers reports and newspapers were analyzed. We conclude that the foreign traders who migrated and operated in the commerce of the lower Amazon region conducted business with Belém, Santarém, and, in the case of Jonh Hislop, with Mato Grosso, establishing relationships with the local elite, some of whom were also formed by foreign individuals and families, or their descendants, who had been settled in the province for a longer time. These traders ascended in the social hierarchy of the region, and much of their business involved illegality and trade with mocambeiros, freedmen, free people and cabanos, resulting in a tense relationship with authorities who created restrictive measures to control trade in the region to combat illegal trade and the influence of foreigners, particularly those who did not originate from nations that had friendship treaties with Brazil, excluding the Portuguese.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Projeto de controlador baseado em inequações matriciais lineares aplicado a um sistema multiconversor sujeito à incertezas paramétricas(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-08-23) SILVA JUNIOR, Carlos Roozenbergh Porto da; BARRA JUNIOR, Walter; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0492699174212608Conversion systems are critically important devices in electrical systems across various environments, especially in modern times, as multiple components with different voltage levels and sources are interconnected within a single system. Consequently, dynamic study methods of this network are examined using approaches that simplify the network based on speed modes and switching of other conversion systems, wherein fast systems are simplified to constant power loads (CPL). This method evaluates the network’s stability conditions. The study reveals that CPLs act as negative incremental resistances, and when analyzed through a linear model, it is observed that such loads reduce system damping, thereby decreasing stability margins and potentially rendering the system unstable. Additionally, uncertainties in the physical components of the circuit further affect the stability and performance of microgrids. Hence, designing regulators to mitigate oscillations caused by these effects becomes crucial to ensure the proper performance of these systems. In this work, a robust controller is designed to handle uncertainties and attenuate oscillations in the presence of constant power loads. This controller is implemented in a microgrid composed of two cascaded DC-DC buck converters, one of which is modeled as a CPL. The system model is utilized for both stability analysis and robust controller design in state space, where the compensator synthesis is structured in the form of a linear matrix inequality, solved using system optimization tools. The controller’s results are compared with another controller based on pole placement in both linear and nonlinear switched models, within the Matlab/Simulink simulation platform. Transient response and control signals are evaluated graphically and through performance indices under various operating conditions, including load disturbances and system parameter variations.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Subjetividades em dívida: formação e sociedade de controle(Universidade de Lisboa, 2017) LEMOS, Flávia Cristina Silveira; REIS JÚNIOR, Leandro PassarinhoThe paper presents a conceptual discussion on the production of a debt of subjectivities, in response to the excesses of contemporary society, generating illnesses, hatreds, resentments, strenuous search training, excessive demand for labor, unfair competition for positions and vacancies, exhaustive public exposure among other current issues to consider.
