Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) As águas da cultura vivida inundando a educação: uma leitura sobre letramentos e cultura ribeirinha(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-02-23) CARVALHO, Marcia da Silva; PAIXÃO, Carlos Jorge; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5926523492011056This study discuss the shift of social and educational literacy in an Amazonia drenched in symbologies and knowledge present in the voices of the residents of the Isles of Paquetá, Longa and Nova and in Unidade Pedagógica do Jamaci, Icoaraci district in Belém/PA. It is riverine literacy. The conceptual dialogs in which these ripples are evident are docked in BHABHA(2013), GERRT (1989, 2014), EAGLETON (2011) dipped in hybridism and cultural webs, the relation between the schooling process and the living riverside culture are present in the seas brought by BRANDÃO (1985, 1986) and by the becoming of the waters flowing social and scholar literacy, learning and world reading invoked to this study by FREIRE (1980, 1987, 1989, 1996, 2004), SOARES (1986, 2008, 2010), STREET (2014). Culture in different places move literacy, intertwining lived culture of the riverside community waving insular harmonies and disharmonies. This ethnographic research is based on the voices of the residents of the isles of Paquetá, Longa and Nova, workers and students of Unidade Pedagógica do Jamaci, which is connected to Fundação Escola Bosque, located in Igarapé do Jamaci. The qualitative approach serves as a reference to this study in its ethnographic format, using semi-structured interviews, narratives, photographic material and active participants’ observation as investigative instruments, setting from the reading of the voices expressed in the narratives of the subjects. In this sense of problematization the central questioning is brought: To which extent social literacy resulting from the lived culture of the riverside community is connected to educational literacy in the schooling process of Unidade Pedagógica of Jamaci? As a result the study demonstrates that the experiences lived by the riverside community creates connections with scholar experiences, where lived culture of the riverside community through their daily life will communicate with the school, settling then that there are no literacy without these cultural elements of the riverside everyday life, without social literacy overflowing into the scholar literacy, without recognizing the reinforcing that the diverse religious and sociocultural manifestations give to the riverside community life and the sustainability possible because of the singular and insular experiences. This way the relevance of this study consist in the come and go of the waters enlightening the Amazonian culture identifying it in the rhetoric, in the curriculum and in the process of literacy, minimizing the invisibility of the riverine people and all their cultural potential.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Uma análise etnográfica na memória e cotidiano na Avenida Governador Magalhães Barata- Belém/Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-03-31) BAHIA, Carmosina Maria Calliari; MIRANDA, Cybelle Salvador; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3254198738703536This research aims to analyze the memory and daily life at Magalhães Barata Avenue, using the method of Street Ethnography, used as a resource for the preservation of the cultural heritage of the area. This proposal is based on the experience of the researcher and architect of the Goeldi Museum, for over 30 years, which aroused looking at the changes in the former Independence Avenue architecture in this time interval. The choice of the ethnographic method provided a qualitative and closest approach of the avenue residents‘, allowing us to an analysis of the interactions, the memory of the residents, the daily lives of passersby, traditional activities of formal and non-formal working, from the first decades of the XX century. During the immersions in the avenue, we use the interviews to record the historical and affective memory of the passerby, who works and who lives on the avenue, as well as we use the photographic record as a way of highlighting the transformations in the architecture. In response to the guiding research question "How to preserve the architectural diversity of the Avenue, considering the changes that have occurred and the social dynamics of the place?" We conclude that the knowledge gained from the incursions in the field will allow the appreciation of the cultural heritage found in the stretch where a marked change in the customs and local ambience is visible. Through actions adapted by cultural institutions located in the Avenue, we can make the daily activities of the streets, where the human relationships are found, work and friendship ones, as well as routine activities that have the testimony of personal and social events. This is the rescue of cultural memory, an important factor for preservation of the identity of the place.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Os Cadernos do Promotor: as ações do Tribunal do Santo Ofício no Maranhão e Grão-Pará (1640-1750)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-06-25) CARVALHO, Leila Alves de; ARENZ, Karl Heinz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4213810951901055This research aims to analyse how the actions of the Court of the Holy Office in the Portuguese Amazon – Maranhão and Grão-Pará – within the temporal space which extends from 1640 to 1750. The intention is to understand the strategies employed by the Holy Office as a way of spreading its power in a period prior to the Visitation of 1763 during Pombal’s rule within the reality of the colony market by its huge extension and its diverse populations. In this context, we search to identify its agents, as well as the forms used to implement moral and religious discipline in this space and in this society. We will base ourselves, as main source, on the manuscripts of the Promoter of the Inquisition of Lisbon, and through them, try to detect the procedures established by the inquisitorial agents; quantitatively and qualitatively, which were the most relevant complaints from the Court's point of view; and to identify, for which reason some complaints did not turn into processes.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Cotidiano dos "silêncios": momentos de plantio em agricultura familiar(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-12) FERNANDES, Daniel dos SantosThisvideo shows thedailylifeof a family in agriculturalworkandon a dayofthemonthofNovember 2016, basedonthelogicoffamilyfarming. Its objectives are to analyze the state's use of urban sustainability discourses; analyze the influence of change of residence processes on aspects related to the material life of families; analyze the links and connections between sustainability discourses and the conceptual contribution of housing of Brazilian social interest; and to analyze the relationship between sustainability discourses present in the formulation and execution of PTTS for housing interventions for urban removal. To this end, the theoretical development of the discussions in the last decades on sustainable development and the qualitative adaptation imposed on the concept were made to become, at present, urban sustainability or simply sustainability. Based on a qualitative methodology supported by historical-dialectical materialism, four case studies were carried out on PAC interventions, based on its Technical Social Work Projects (PTTS), housing projects aimed at removing families occupying vulnerable environmental spaces and socially, in two municipalities in the Metropolitan Region of Belém (RMB): the Taboquinha Community, in the Icoaraci District, in Belém; the Faith in God Community, in the Tenoné neighborhood, in Belém; the Jardim Jader Barbalho Community, in the Aurá neighborhood, in Ananindeua; and the Pantanal Community, in the Mangueirão neighborhood, in Belém. From the use of Discourse Analysis and the approach of three essential categories for daily analysis, according to Lefebvre (1980), - family, leisure and work - the analysis expressed, from the perspective of the agents involved and the trajectory of the subjects in the transition between spaces and their daily lives, the distance between the implementation of the policy and sustainability in the environmental, social and economic perspectives, intended in the heart of the Program, demonstrating that: it is not possible to think of peripheral housing estates to remove families detached from reality and the economic system that produces it and the implications that this production brings with it for space and society; there are weaknesses in the conceptual use of sustainability as rhetoric for a new proposal for urban regulation; PTTS disregard the needs of families and the material and substantive experiences of the subjects served, ignoring their needs and daily practices in these spaces produced in an abstract way, which since their formulation denied the experiences of the population served, via the absence of leisure spaces, disconnection with the world of work, permanence of risks, which opposes them to fully social spaces and distances them from a perspective of the right to the city, being interpreted as (un) sustainable spaces from the socio-environmental point of view.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Estudo de caso como metodologia de pesquisa no cotidiano escolares: abordagem qualitativa(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2004-09) ABREU, Waldir Ferreira de; SILVA, Hiléia Lúcia Gama daItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) A infância da Amazônia marajoara: sentidos e significados das práticas culturais no cotidiano das crianças ribeirinhas da vila do Piriá - Curralinho/PA(Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais, 2018-05-09) ANDRADE, Simei Santos; ALVES, Laura Maria Silva Araújo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6009592378453661; REIS, Magali dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7283350243518221; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6741-1638The present study is an investigation about the childhoods of the Amazon, with emphasis on childhood and riverside children. The research was conducted in the Vila do Piriá district, in the municipality of Curralinho / PA. The theoreticalmethodological framework focused on the Social Studies of Childhood, in dialogue mainly with the Sociology of Childhood, but also with contribution in the Geography of Childhood, Child Anthropology and Childhood History. Due to this research is focused on childhood, it requires interdisciplinary studies and malleable research procedures, asking for an integration of the various areas of Social Studies, as well as a documentary research that has led us to understand how the organization and structuring of Curralinho / PA and consequently of Vila do Piriá, analyzing how the researched community is inserted in this context. Our investigative course aimed to analyze the senses and meanings of cultural practices in the daily life of the riverside children of Vila do Piriá - Curralinho / PA. The research was carried out through a qualitative approach based on ethnography with children. Our choice for this methodology was given because it responds with greater effect to our expectations in order to listen to the children's voice and bring them to another level - that of social actors who (re)build their stories, inserted in a such culture that influences them and for what they are influenced. Our interlocutors were 25 (twenty five) children, in the age group of 5 to 11 years; guided by the curiosity to interpret the meanings of the cultural practices of the riverside children, we made the option to approach the children subjects from their daily life, knowing their ways of life and the relationship they establish with nature still in childhood, and how such cultural practices are linked to the culture of the place. The study also listened to the adults (domestic unit), because we understand that children are not alone in the world, but surrounded by mature people and their cultures, generating, in the case of the communities bordering the Marajoara Amazon, such a close link that one can not analyze only one and leave the other in a secondary position and vice versa. Although we have delimited the number of interlocutors, the study expanded to other children, sporadic participants in the research who, desirous of saying their reality, did so with much propriety in the spontaneous activities performed; the analyzed material, was precious and impossible to be discarded and, in respect to these children, their speeches, histories, causes, jokes, among others, also make up the final text of the thesis. Therefore, we consider this research a study not only with children, but also about the children, specifically the riverside ones, since some of the material that allowed to analyze their cultural practices were produced and justified by them, besides the straight observation that we acomplish in the field of search. The conclusions of this study allowed the analysis of the identity, culture, daily life, and the time of being a child under objective conditions. They show that the riverside children have knowledge that guides their daily cultural and social practices, although they live with a reality not always favorable to their full development, due to the social, economic and political precariousness to which they are submitted; they have the capacity to speak about their place in a simple, concrete and sensitive way, with the predominance of oral culture over writing, producing stories that generate multiplicities of approaches to culture and place.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Intencionalidade, experiência banal e comunicação: esboço de prospecção fenomenológica do cotidiano(Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro, 2015) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deThe article proposes a phenomenological exploration of the notion of daily life, understanding it as living experience, as opposed to experience, from the philosophical debate about the world of life (Lebenswelt). The purpose of this survey is to think about the nature of communicative experience in everyday life. In this task, we dialogue with Heidegger’s concept of iddle talk (Gerede), trying to understand how intersubjectivity is produced in contemporary culture.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O lazer no cotidiano: práticas coletivas como resistência(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-12) MENDES, Francivaldo José da Conceição; AMARAL, Márcio Douglas BritoThis paper discusses the notion of the city, of everyday life, with a central focus on the occurrence of leisure. In that contexto the leisure is understood as a set of human practices experienced in a free and differentiated time that coexists temporally and spatially in different societies. The objective is to demonstrate that in different spatial contexts there are various practices that, despite being considered litte important, constitute significant content of urban social life. These leisure practices exist because they re-exist to an irreducible logic of power. In other words, they are expressions of social daily life that are not captured by the technical rationality of urban forms and that are dissociated from a pattern that is based on consumption and the ephemerality of social relations. The reflection proposed here starts from a bibliographic review combined with repeated field observations that took place in cities in the Amazon and other regions of Brazil. In spite of the predominance of the abstraction of urban space, it was found that the subjects, in different times and spaces, maintain a sophisticated network of interaction and sociability whose materiality refers to spontaneous, non-rationalized practices, highlighting real paths to a city, a daily life , different for and for leisure.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Memórias, tradição e devoção: ladainha em louvor a São Miguel da comunidade Tauerá de Beja(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-04) ROSARIO, Samuel Antonio Silva do; ROSARIO, Jocenilda Pires de Sousa doItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) “Nenhumas a menos”: olhares sobre o Miércolis Negro em Buenos Aires(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-12) SANTOS, Ana Mabell Seixas Alves; SANTOS, Patricia Seixas AlvesItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Qual o sentido de estudar matemática na escola? o que dizem professores e alunos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-04-15) SILVA, Paulo Vilhena da; SILVEIRA, Marisa Rosâni Abreu da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3588315106445865; http://orcid.org/0000-0002-3147-9478It is not news that learning of mathematics is problematic. Thus, for quite some time, as an alternative to this difficulty, researchers in mathematics education has sought to consider the culture and the customs of different groups in the teaching of mathematics, investigating how to use this “out of school” knowledge in school teaching of mathematics, in order to make learning more interesting, useful, contextualized, critical, meaningful, etc. Hence, in the literature of this field of study it is very common to find statements that the teacher should contextualize his classes using concrete situations of life of students, that is, real problems of learner's life. While this may be a good strategy if taken to the extreme, gives the impression that only what is immediately applicable to the lives of students should be taught. This is a naive and romantic view for pedagogical practice and becomes attractive for suggesting that students would be happier, free and creative by learning in school mathematics they experience in their daily lives. It is a seductive discourse that leaves between the lines, consciously or not, that the poor student must maintain their social place. Our hypothesis is that this conception is also present in the opinion of the school community, so our goal in this work was to analyze which conception students and teachers have about the meaning (reasons) of studying mathematics at school. Therefore, we asked the subjects, students and teachers of public schools in the metropolitan region of Belém to answer the above question. The analysis show that students and teachers agree, as well as some of the researchers in mathematics education, that the sense of studying math is its immediate practical uses. On the contrary, in our argument, made in the light of the Pedagogy Historical-Critical, we argue that we do not study mathematics only to use it in immediate everyday practical activities, but as part of the process of humanization of the individual: the formation of critical citizens who are able to understand and modify the contradictions that surround them, understanding their reality in a more elaborate way, enriching its universe of meanings, going beyond the limits of direct observation.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Uma viagem aos saberes dos moradores da "Vila Que Era"(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-12) SOUSA, Jocenilda Pires de; REIS, Maria do Socorro BragaThis video presents some of the knowledges that are part of the daily life of the residents of traditional communities, in field visits made in November 2016.
