Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise geoecológica como subsídio ao planejamento ambiental da sub-bacia hidrográfica do igarapé ambé, Altamira-PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-08-27) LOBATO, Alexandre Augusto Cardoso; PAULA, Éder Mileno Silva De; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8647718165947306; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6895-2126; BORDALO, Carlos Alexandre Leão; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1253955182585852Although the Amazon Biome has an incalculable value for the balance and maintenance of life on the planet, in recent years it has suffered from the construction of controversial infrastructure works, in particular the opening of highways and construction of hydroelectric plants, such as the BR-230 Highway (Transamazônica) and the Belo Monte Hydroelectric Power Plant, as happened in the Xingu River hydrographic basin, which caused and can still entail several modifications at different spatial scales, mainly at the local level. Therefore, it is extremely important to understand the functioning of these landscapes and their tendencies towards changes arising from human activities, thus providing subsidies to plan environmentally sustainable uses. Adopting the concept of hydrographic basins as a physical-territorial unit for measuring socio-environmental impacts and the geoecology of landscapes as a methodology for systemic environmental analysis, this research aims to study the operation and changes caused by the opening of the Transamazon Highway and its construction of the Belo Monte Hydroelectric Complex in the Igarapé Ambé hydrographic sub-basin which has its territorial extension cut by the aforementioned highway and is located within the Direct Influence Area (AID) and the Directly Affected Area (ADA) of the Belo Monte Hydroelectric Complex and that drain the urban area of the city of Altamira in the State of Pará. The analyzes show that 45% of the SBHA's landscapes are with active morphogenetic processes and 29% are with moderate environmental vulnerability and in a fragile stage of ecodynamic balance, which shows the importance of thinking about alternative uses for these landscapes.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Avaliação da implementação do sistema de monitoração de vibração em unidades geradoras da UHE: balbina como ferramenta de manutenção preditiva(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-10-30) SILVA NETO, Vilmar Domingos da; VIEIRA, João Paulo Abreu; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8188999223769913As the development of the electrical power market, the maintenance automation has become an intrinsic need to increase the overall economic efficiency of hydropower plants. This dissertation presents an assessment of the implementation of a predictive maintenance system of electrical machines (SIMME) on Balbina hydroelectric power plant in Amazonas, Brazil. The system was elaborated to predict defects, failures or bad operational states of machines of the hydroelectric plant and suggest maintenance intervention and operational emergency actions. The results show that the SIMME improved the economic performance of the hydropower plant.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Consequências da construção da Usina Hidrelétrica de Belo Monte para o saneamento básico na cidade de Altamira(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-02-27) MARTINS, Beatriz da Silva; JOHANSEN, Igor Cavallini; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8675081294684590; HTTPS://ORCID.ORG/0000-0002-5360-3740; CALVI, Miquéias Freitas; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1925851965991165; http://orcid.org/0000-0002-9409-9915The implementation of the Belo Monte Hydroelectric Power Plant was tied to compensation and social and environmental conditions, with the universalization of basic sanitation in the city of Altamira, in the state of Pará, being the highlight of this study. The city's physical, social, cultural and environmental space has changed as a result of the implementation of this project. The aim of this research was to investigate and describe the expansion of basic sanitation services – that is, water supply, collection and treatment of domestic sewage, and solid waste – in the city of Altamira between 2010 and 2022. The analyses used secondary data on basic sanitation obtained from the 2010 Demographic Census and primary data collected in a survey applied to 500 households in the city of Altamira in 2022. A documentation analysis was also carried out of the Basic Environmental Project for the Belo Monte Hydroelectric Power Plant and the Altamira Integrated Municipal Basic Sanitation Plan. A review of the literature related to the problem was also carried out. Despite the significant improvements and positive results for the environment and public health, it was observed that the condition of universalization of basic sanitation services in the city of Altamira was not achieved. The governance of these services has encountered obstacles between the municipality and the Belo Monte developer, in the context of the implementation, expansion and transfer of services. With regard to the problems associated with governance, we would highlight the discussion about who would be responsible for carrying out the intra-household water and sewage connections, the population's historical dissatisfaction with the water supply services, the residents' resistance to accepting the intra-household water and sewage connections and the flaws in the planning of the executive project. These implications substantially affected the capacity to expand and the quality of these basic services to the population of the city of Altamira.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Simulador de operação contendo instruções de recomposição em situações contingenciais: estudo de caso Subestação Guamá Eletrobras Eletronorte(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-09-29) ALVES, Wilson José Reça; NUNES, Marcus Vinícius Alves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9533143193581447The System and Substation Operators are a fundamental component, both for society and for electric power companies in regards to the correct operation of electric power systems. In order for them to perform their duties satisfactorily, they must undergo constant refresher trainings and operation simulation of such systems, through the operation simulators. The task proposed here will be to present an operation maneuvers simulator, which can be used both for system operators, such as installation, which contains instructions for restoring maneuvers when transmission lines disorders occurs, transformers, equipments for compensation of reactive power and installation sectorals, such as the recovery when acting for breaker differential protection and circuit breaker failure. The latter two being repeatedly reasons of anxiety and difficulties of recovery for demanding high degree of operational knowledge. The pilot substation utilized to create the simulator as well as the creation of recovery maneuvers instruction is the Substation Guama, from the company Eletrobras Eletronorte.
