Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Amazônicos e tecnológicos: os Suruís de Rondônia e suas articulações globais(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-08-03) COSTA, Tamiles do Espírito Santo; AMARAL FILHO, Otacílio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2605877670235703This work aims to describe and analyze the experience of the indigenous community Paiter-Suruí, located between the states of Rondonia and Mato Grosso, which experiences a process of technological integration. From materials posted on the internet about the Suruí´s partnerships, specially the partnership formalized with Google, is done a study of the position change of the Amazonian Indians, historically relegated to a subordinated position, who, in this new technological scenario, gains voice and ability to interfere in their own narrative, in particular using the internet. The concepts of "to see" and "to look", "social capital" and an overview on the imaginary built about the Indians, intends to subsidize a brief phenomenological analysis supported by a field research, which aims to understand how the Suruís see subjectively the objective phenomena they experience. In addition, other discussions will be raised during the work, such as post-colonialism, the dialogue between tradition and modernity and hybridization of cultures.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) O blog no ensino de estudos amazônicos: materiais didáticos em questão(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-09-30) OLIVEIRA, Leonardo da Costa; FERREIRA, Eliana Ramos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8121954088119834This master's thesis aims to analyze the access forms of EMEF João Paulo II teachers to the teaching materials of the curricular component Amazon studies through the absence of a textbook that meets the specificities of the school discipline in question. Also part of the restlessness of the work was the peculiarity of the discipline in it is curricular design, as well as it is interdisciplinary characteristic. It was verified the relevance of the teaching materials used by the teachers in the classes of Amazonian Studies, as well as their strategies of production of them. And as a proposal for mediation for the concerns that motivated the present work, the research presents as a didactic product the blog, here used as a pedagogical resource. Considering the Internet a space made of navigable information circuits and a virtual world of communication that expands indefinitely, both teachers and students of Basic Education, who are connected to the World Computer Network, can be have an opportunity to access teaching materials related to the curricular component Amazonian Studies. To realize the proposed objectives of this dissertation, was chosen from the methodological perspective of the case study in a qualitative approach that uses as an instrument for data collection closed questionnaire, interviews and documentary analysis.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A ciberpublicidade e as interações em rede: estudo exploratório sobre práticas de consumo no Facebook(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-03-31) SOUSA, Thatianne Silva; MARQUES, Jane Aparecida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1197835678797660This dissertation aims to study the interactions and practices of cultural and media consumption that are established in the space of social media on the internet, more specifically on Facebook, as from cyberpublicities. This is a theoretical and empirical research of an exploratory nature, using non-participant observation and content analysis to understand the relationship between social media on the Internet, interaction, cyberpublicity and consumption. It begins with the premise that, with digital technologies, there is a reconfiguration in the communication relations and in the cyberspace: the subjects acquire new roles, increasing their possibilities of speaking; There is a growing presence of brands; and the presentation of new advertising strategies - cyberpublicity - in an attempt to dialogue with this new subject - the cyber consumer. Four advertisements were selected, two of which are national and two are local (in Belém-PA), for the analysis of the subjects' interactions in the respective brands’ fan pages. These relational dynamics between subjects, brands and advertising are built from the interactions mediated by the computer, pointing to new practices of cultural and media consumption. According to the results analysis, different types of interactions were identified: those dealing with cyberpublicity; those that establish relationship with the advertiser; those that are characterized by interagent tagging; and symbolic reactive interactions. These different interactions reflect the functioning of social networks on the Internet when subjects interact with cyberpublicity and demonstrate that there is opportunity for brands to manifest and present their advertising content to cyberconsumers, regardless of the size of the company and the place of performance, as occurs with the local brands. Based on the analysis of these interactions in networks, stands out the importance and the challenge of this investigation, considering all interactors (humans and machines) and having cyberpublicity as mediator in this process.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Da sala de aula para o instagram: os studygrammers e o ensino-aprendizagem em ciências e biologia(Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso, 2022-08) COSTA, José Maria Martins; COELHO, Yuri Cavaleiro de Macêdo; ALMEIDA, Ana Cristina Pimentel Carneiro deIn post-modernity, information and knowledge are produced and disseminated through technologies, especially the internet and digital media. Students and teachers have in their hands resources that allow open access to knowledge, which inspires changes and constant inventions in the field of education. In the Internet social networks, profiles are being created to explain materials and/or study routines, in order to share experiences, inspire others and disseminate and discuss relevant topics, known as Studygams. In this sense, the objective of this study was to identify trends and contributions of Studygrams to the teaching and learning of Science and Biology, in the view of a panel of Studygrammers who produce and publish content related to Biological Sciences in Brazil. The work was developed from a qualitative approach, with elements of netnographic research such as participant observation and online fieldwork. The results showed that Studygrams have the potential to explore and develop skills and abilities in both those who post and those who access the content. It is understood that this new practice of teaching and learning in informal spaces has aroused attitudes of entrepreneurship, autonomy, organization, interaction and creativity, which allow the fixation of contents, interdisciplinarity, contextualization and training for citizenship.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Discurso e cibercultura: uma análise de como a imagem Amazônia é disseminada em âmbito da internet(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-04-20) ARAUJO, Daymerson Ferreira; PIRES, Yomara Pinheiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5304797342599931; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7724-6082Amazon is not now the space where the attention of governments, governmental and nongovernmental organizations, national and international, and various institutions is turned. Given its complex sociobiodiversity, images and visions are built on this region, which, in most cases, serve to disseminate and consolidate exogenous speeches and which end up being received and assimilated by inhabitants of this region, especially by those who have easier access and use of the world wide web, a privileged environment for the creation and circulation of ideas. Thus, the following questions arise: how do 2nd year high school students from a private school in Castanhal / PA understand the Amazon through contact with these speeches and ideas disseminated on the internet? In this sense, the general objective of this research is to analyze, through its textual productions, the way high school students from a school in Castanhal / PA perceive the Amazon theme in the context of the internet. Specifically, it aims to: a) Identify and characterize the Amazonian space in geographic, social and environmental spheres, seeking to understand its place in the economic context, both in the past and in the present; b) Analyze the emergence of the world wide web as a possible vector for the dissemination and consolidation of discourses today; and c) Understand and analyze how the Amazon is perceived by high school students, from the internet, using Content Analysis and Discourse Analysis of texts produced by them. This study is justified by the fact that the internet is today the areopagus where debates take place in an agile and integrated way and understanding how these students retain such information for themselves is important for decision-making, especially with regard to to more specific interventions within the school and society. Thus, content analysis (CA) is used as methods of analysis, following bardin’s (2016) and discourse analysis (AD) assumptions, based on reflections by Althusser (1967), Orlandi (2007) and Souza (2014). This research is part of a qualitative-interpretative nature (MINAYO, 1995), of a basic nature (JACOBSEN, 2009). As results, it was understood that most of the research participants have a perception of the Amazon as an external environment to their coexistence, as a scenario that is limited, solely and exclusively, to the forest, to exoticism. Furthermore, a posture of distancing in relation to the Amazon was identified in most of their speeches.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) E-gov na amazônia: a busca por um governo mais transparente e democrático(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-10-09) ASSIS, Gustavo Bento de; SOUZA, Carlos Augusto da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7158504535308341; CORRÊA, Roberto Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0624569499031826This study investigates the portals of state governments in the Amazon , sando saw the realization of e-government movements who want to deepen democracy through digital processes. The investigation was conducted in six states portals Amazon. The analysis model encompasses, on the one hand, the most technology and how these portals are providing information to citizens aspects in order to create facilities and opportunities for their lives. And secondly - and this is the most important aspect - those relating to accountability and popular participation. All this has the sense to see how the portals have been constituted as an instrument to deepen democracy in the Amazon states and realization of a new type of society: the digital. The theoretical model undertakes categories of e-government, accountability and popular participation. The results are not encouraging, also converging with international experience. What is observed is that the portals, in general, have adequate technological resources, there are conditions of good navigation, information search. Thus, the technology does not seem to be a problem. What portals resent really is greater interactivity, it can be inferred that the relations established are fundamentally the government-to-citizen type, with the government issuing and society, it seems, the receiver liabilities, while away the inversion of this relationship for citizen-to-government.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) A exposição do amor na internet: público ou íntimo?(Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, 2017) MOREIRA, Jacqueline de Oliveira; LIMA, Nádia Laguárdia de; STENGEL, Márcia; PENA, Breno Ferreira; SALOMÃO, Cecília SilvaThis article discusses the issue of intimacy and the publicization of love on the internet. It is based on a research which interviewed 20 university students of both genders to investigate if the internet introduces new forms of romantic relationships between adolescents. Inspired by the answers, this text proposes a theoretical reflection on the act of publicizing love online. Therefore, the effects of publicizing love life events on the internet are here discussed in two perspectives: analyzing the borders between public and private, and reflecting on the subjectivity involved in the publicization of our romantic lives. Although some interviewees criticize this exposure, some of them consider it a demand of contemporary culture. It could be noticed that, although the lack of conflicts caused by distance may give the illusion of the existence of a perfect relationship, the romantic bonds created by the internet can be as complex as the non-virtual relationships.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A internet como espaço de atuação política para mulheres capoeiristas em tempos de isolamento(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-12-22) PENA, Luana de Nazaré Pinto; BUENO, Michele Escoura; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3126701924384242Networked spaces have shaped new dynamics of sociability, enabling the intertwining of different historical-social contexts, a multiplicity of groups, organizations and subjects with different profiles of action and social and political mobilization, which have reached new heights from the contexts driven by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. It was in this scenario that capoerista paraense Sabrina Silva used Facebook lives to spread the female capoerista movement in Pará. In view of the above, this study aimed to analyze how the internet became a locus of political action for women capoeiristas during the pandemic in 2020, based on the case study of Sabrina Silva's Lives. To carry out the analysis, we adopted digital ethnography as a method, which is an adaptation of ethnographic analysis for the study of online cultures, aiming to explore and expand the possibilities through the constant use of digital networks, posting the material collected. With regard to the theoretical framework, we selected, among others, authors who work on issues related to capoeira, such as Nestor Capoeira (1999), Letícia Reis (2000) and Luiz Augusto Leal (2005); authors who discuss social movement relations today, such as Manuel Castells (2014) and Maria da Gloria Gohn (2011); authors who debate issues of gender, race and class, for example Anne McClintock (1995) and Kimberlé Crenshaw (2002); and theorists who discuss the digital ethnography , namely Beatriz Lins, Carolina Parreiras and Eliane Freitas (2020). As a result, it was found that social media was appropriated by women during a period when physical meetings were suspended, in order to spread a struggle so important to the construction of Brazilian culture, thus highlighting the power relations present in capoeira and its possibilities for expanding discussions on the subject and giving it more visibility.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Mídia e diáspora venezuelana: recepção dos leitores sobre a migração no G1 Roraima(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-03-20) BEZERRA, Gersika do Nascimento; MORAIS, Vângela Maria Isidoro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3445758357722488; DUTRA, Manuel José Sena; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2597192749872675Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Palafitas Digitais: comunicação, convergência cultural e relações de poder em Afuá(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-03-17) MIRANDA, Diogo Silva Miranda de; NEVES, Ivânia dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2648132192179863This research aims to analyze the communication issues in the Amazon. To do this, I try to understand the social uses that individuals do of different technologies involved in the process. And I also try to understand the power relations that are established at scene. For this exercise, I‟m using Jesús Martín-Barbero‟s (2004) theoretical and methodological aspects, which identifies the mapping like a more open and rigorous perspective of study. This aspects allows the researcher to experience the dynamics of the object. This experience was the key to grasping the reality that must be experienced to finally be understood. In analyzing this contemporary setting, I also seek support in the work of Henry Jenkins (2012) to understand that culture is changing and the different information and communication technologies (ICTs) are organizing to provide individuals an experience unlike interaction society. However, one thing must keep in mind that not all participate in the same manner. Here, Michell Foucault (1996, 2008) help to understand the analytical issues of power in society, how manifest disputes in small stocks and how individuals perform small forms of domination. From these questions we can say that Amazon has a multifaceted context, where the differences are inscribed in each part of its territory. Afua is an example of the complexity that exists in the region. Located at the Marajo‟s archipelago, in the brasilian Amazon, the "Venice of Marajó" (as the city is called by its residents) has its streets, houses and high buildings on stilts that support the entire city on the rivers. In this particular place, the web became popular a few years ago by the signal of mobile phones and provided a new scenario of interaction among its residents. But their success is strongly linked to the importance that the radios have the articulation of social relations that community. So we can see how each form of use of ICTs is linked to experiences that take place in society. In this sense, thinking of communication in the Amazon is an exercise that requires looking at the communicative nature of social events (FRANÇA, 2001). These developments reflect specific contexts, that particularize the place where they happen. It is these contexts that enable the particular practices of appropriation and the different uses of social media. They make the experience of individuals a unique and singular event and that allow us to understand the extent of the communication process that goes beyond simple social interaction.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Políticas públicas para a comunicação na Amazônia: o caso do Programa NavegaPará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-08-31) BAÍA, Dayane Corrêa Pantoja; CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5700042332015787The NavegaPará Program, developed by the state government of Pará since 2007, set in a public policy aimed at ensuring access to the Internet for free in the municipalities of Pará, through a wide network of own fiber optical. Looking beyond the basic infrastructure, seeking to understand the NavegaPará above all as a communication policy, based on the discussion of communication, information and lack of communication. About Political Economy of Communication, seeking to understand the context and how the program's methodology is applied in three distinct infocenter in the capital Belém, from the analysis of their political and social conditions, material, institutional, methodological and ideological . The method of approach is inductive qualitative with applying semi-structured interviews of three groups of social agents belonging to the dynamics. The research methodology found in the infocenter not standard, contributing to the cultural issue of communication was deprecated in relation to the aspect of technicality and access to computers to the Internet.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) As redes sociais online como arenas de embate e o papel da campanha “Veta Dilma” no processo de elaboração do novo Código Florestal Brasileiro(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-06-13) GIBSON JUNIOR, Alexandre; FIGUEIREDO, Silvio José de Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2578700144404800This work aims to understand the role of online social networks in the preparation debate of the new Brazilian Forest Code. Therefore, was made an analysis of the two public arenas that had a relevant role in the code political debate: the special commission created in the Chamber of Deputies to discuss the code and the posts published in the "Veta Dilma" campaign pages on Facebook. We then conducted a review of the historical process of forest laws in Brazil to understand better the process in the legislative arena. Besides that, we examined the notes of the public hearings held by the Special Committee to observe how was the formation of this political field. Furthermore, this works had the aims to study the social movement “Floresta faz a diferença” and the "Veta Dilma” campaign to understand how this network mobilization can interfere in the political participation process. In this way, this study analyzes 98 posts and 2,848 comments in two Facebook pages: “Floresta Faz a Diferença” e “Veta Dilma”. The method used for the classification and systematization of the research was the Content Analysis, Therefore, this research aimed to discuss the importance of the emergence of platforms and strategies on the internet that will allow a greater participation of society in public affairs.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Relacionamentos humanos mediados pelo computador: as experiências de intermautas cadastros no site de comunidades UOL K(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008-09-02) DINIZ, Caetano da Providência Santos; BARRETTO, André Maurício Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3046718437592588The community web sites have attracted a great number of people. They relate in distance to each other using resources such as the sending of mails and messages. These people also change information among themselves through the auto-description (profile) and the use of images, both free to the internet users public. The experience of having a personal web page in this kind of environment and the opportunity of relating with people through that result on the objective of this research which has been realized based on a qualitative methodology .There have been interviewed 16 internet users of UOL K network that belongs to UOL (online universe) that is considered the main vestibule of content and an access paid-supplier of internet in Brazil as well. The results analysis has pointed the following features: The web site makes possible the establishment of new contacts as well as the maintenance of old contacts. There is a trend to make new contacts. The written language is used such for communication as for a reflection about yourself. The anonymity is favored by the distant communication but it causes distrust of disappointing someone. The exercises are seen as real even they happen in a virtual atmosphere. “Being online” can be pleasant but it does not mean that we have to come off from the offline world. The communities’ membership is frequent and it is based on its common objectives. Thanks to the web sites tools, the use of photo is a link between the synchronous communication (chat) and the asynchronous communication (UOL K).There is an emphasis given to the sexuality and, consequently, the internet users find themselves needed to see and relativize their concepts like close and far, public and private, offline and online. It´s concluded that, even the users don’t use to set face - to –face dates, they are able to relate virtually to each other as a real situation, change affection, state links and keep an online life which communication finds its own way that maybe there will be not another goal except being online.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Use of virtual questionnaire and dissemination as a data collection strategy in scientific studies(Programa de Pós Graduação em Enfermagem, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, 2016-10-24) CASTRO, Fabiana Faleiros Santana; KÄPPLER, Karl Christoph; PONTES, Fernando Augusto Ramos; SILVA, Simone Souza da Costa; GOÉS, Fernanda dos Santos Nogueira de; CUCICK, Cibele DiasThis study describes the use of online questionnaires and their virtual dissemination as a data collection strategy in Germany. The online questionnaire was elaborated using a virtual platform, creating a link that was disseminated in virtual environments. Participants were 100 Germans with Spina Bifida; 149 people visited the link, 83 of them coming from virtual forums, 27 from emails, 26 from social networks, ten from the German association of spina bifida site and three from the university website. With 55.7% of the participants, the virtual forum was the most agile dissemination medium to capture the data. This data collection mode should be used in future research, involving different countries, due to the speed, saving, good use of answers and help to overcome the language barrier. Public policies that support people’s access to the Internet are necessary, so that these studies can be conducted successfully.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) O uso de tecnologias digitais no desenvolvimento de atividades de modelagem matemática(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-04-07) MENEZES, Rhômulo Oliveira; ESPÍRITO SANTO, Adilson Oliveira do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5870609258842071; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2816-0941In this work, I have investigated the use of digital technologies in the development of Mathematical Modeling activities by students of undergraduate course graduation in Mathematics. So I conducted a qualitative research, collecting data Experimental Laboratory of Mathematical Molding (EMML/CUNCAST/UFPA), of which found record (physical, digital, audiovisual) produced by graduate students of the Mathematics Degree course that have developed Mathematics molding activities. For being records from different documentation and recording techniques, I opted for the ‘data triangulation’ for the analysis of these records. Gather and analyze daily records and presentations records allowed to choose three mathematical modeling activities. With the description of these activities could analyze them in two stages. In the first stage by putting moments development mathematical modeling activities in which there was the use of digital technologies, or at times when students because of this use made decisions that impacted the mathematics molding process. In the second stage, bring clippings extracted from the first stage, in which establish informed in Lévy, Asmann and others. This analysis showed, in the interaction between students and teacher mediator with digital and computer models, decision making opportunities on the routes to be followed in development of mathematical modeling activities. Another strong aspect and placed in the discussions was the gain in thematic feasibility of recent research that Mathematical Modeling had with the popularization of the Internet as a source of research.
