Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) A Dinâmica das inovações nas empresas do pólo industrial de Manaus: um novo momento relacionado aos constrangimentos ambientais a partir do ano 2000(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008-06-26) DINIZ, Márcia Jucá Teixeira; COSTA, Francisco de Assis; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1820238947667908The main objective of this thesis is the confirmation of the neo-Schumpeterian theory, addressing technical change by companies operating in the Pólo Industrial de Manaus - PIM. Particular consideration is given to the introduction of innovations related to the environment, and how this is related to the measure of concentration for each industry operating in the PIM. The data used for this research include both primary and secondary sources. The secondary data, obtained in jointly with the Supervision Free Trade Zone in Manaus – SUFRAMA refer to variables related to the economic performance of the companies, operating in PIM. The primary data was collected through questionnaires answered to SUFRAMA. A descriptive analysis was then conducted employing both sets of data, followed by an econometric model, which used simultaneous equations. The results obtained confirm the main hypothesis of the study, which is that innovations, especially those related to the environment tend to have a significant and positive effect on the concentration ratio. In addition, it was found that among the firms considered polluters according to the literature, were those which introduced more environmentally related innovations.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Implantação da ferramenta BI no sistema de inteligência de negócios para tomadas de decisões no processo produtivo da empresa Makauta em Manaus(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-02-22) CAVALCANTE, Luiz Carlos Monteiro; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7279183940171317The evolution of the production process, formerly "shop floor", has been significant in recent decades. Many projects have been developed for the deployment of ―industry 4.0‖. Major investments have been made in infrastructure, automation, training and information systems, making this sector a strategic area in a timely manner for companies. ―Shop floor‖ today generates a large amount of data that, because it is scattered or disorganized, is not used to its full potential as a source of information for decision making. Thinking about this under-utilization of the information provided in the production process, this paper proposes the implementation of a Business Intelligence system through the use of the Qlik Sense tool, applied specifically to the treatment of ―shop floor‖ data. The goal is to develop a system that uses the data resulting from the production process and transforms it into information that helps managers make timely decisions in this process in order to improve the company's competitiveness.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Melhoria de processo de produção através da aplicação de métodos de ferramentas da qualidade em uma linha de confecção de uniformes industriais(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-09-14) COSTA, Roger Roberto Correa; SOUZA, José Antônio da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6157348947425968Institutions are subjected to the challenge of surviving in an increasingly competitive and demanding market, resulting from changes in the social, political, political and technological spheres, especially within the Covid-19 pandemic context. Quality appears, in this current scenario, as a timely and relevant theme. This research aimed to implement quality management methods in a line of confections of industrial uniforms to optimize processes. Aspiring to achieve the proposed objectives, a methodological choice was made through a quantitative and qualitative research, through a case study carried out in a company that manufactures uniforms at the Industrial Pole located in the city of Manaus-Amazonas. The survey involved eighteen employees and when asked about knowledge related to quality management, 22% demonstrated knowledge, to the detriment of 78%. About 83% of respondents consider the quality system to be efficient, while 17% disagree. Concerning the opening of the company to new ideas, 55% responded positively, while 45% do not feel at ease. Regarding the factors that cause bottlenecks in the process and rework, 50% reported that the finish does not meet the requirements, 33% reported a failure to insert the push button and 17% reported a failure in embroidery. The application of tools of quality helped to identify bottlenecks and analyze productivity. Solutions have been proposed to increase the efficiency and efficiency of the examined industry, especially in terms of after-sales.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Otimização do tempo de teste funcional de placa de circuito impresso montada para computador pessoal(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-01-13) OLIVEIRA, Edson Farias de; BLANCO, Claudio José Cavalcante; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8319326553139808Increased competitiveness among the peer group has become increasingly important to the constant optimization of processes to consequently reduce manufacturing costs. The objective of this study is to assess the time involved in the functional testing phase of MBs produced in a company of the Industrial Pole of Manaus and propose improvements that lead to optimization of this phase. The actions taken with respect to optimizations led to the development system for capturing images to improve the analysis of downtimes and development of devices for testing, as well as the proprietary test system based on Linux to replace the previous system which relied of foreign partners. The percentage gains in the project was presented in four optimization proposals, the first being with the unification of the tests, the second with the test being performed on two board, the third with the replacement of the previous test by the system owner and end automation of the test device, which was demonstrated gains in each of the proposals. The results obtained after implementation of each proposal were positive and reinforce the need to apply scientific methods combined with creativity to achieve the optimization at any stage of the production process and closes the work suggesting ideas for future improvement of the system already optimized.
