Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Alimentação adequada e saudável no campus Belém da Universidade Federal do Pará: estudo de caso das ações e programas institucionais voltados para alunos e servidores(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-08-16) SOUSA, Tanha Charle Santa Rosa de; FISCHER, Luly Rodrigues da Cunha; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5038078976448551; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1662-8703The right to food is inherent to the human being, therefore inalienable and independent of any legislation. However, the recognition of this right in norms, agreements, declarations and other instruments is important to ensure its enforceability by the holders and compliance by the State. In 2014, the Ministry of Health updated the new version of the Food Guide for the Brazilian Population, which is one of the national strategies to promote adequate and healthy food that integrates the National Food and Nutrition Policy, aiming to provide individuals and the community with dietary practices appropriate. In this context, the University Restaurant (RU) is an environment conducive to the promotion of adequate diets and the development of healthy eating habits, a precept that should be extended to all places authorized to offer food to the academic community. Thus, the research problem arises: how, at the Federal University of Pará, are actions aimed at encouraging and controlling adequate nutrition offered to students and civil servants, with the aim of developing healthy eating habits? Thus, the general objective of the work is to analyze how UFPA develops actions and programs to encourage and control an adequate and healthy food for students and employees at the Campus of Guamá in Belém, having as a parameter of analysis the national and institutional guidelines for the development of healthy eating habits. Thus, once the case was defined and the field delimited, the research carried out was of a mixed type, based on multiple case study techniques in a quantitative and qualitative approach, in which a bibliographic and documental survey was carried out. Then, a deductive diagnostic analysis of the case was carried out from the bibliographical and documental landmarks based on the interpretation of the data. In this way, the research verified how UFPA promotes programs and actions to promote adequate and healthy eating by the community of students and civil servants, having as an analysis criterion the guidelines of: WHO, the Food Guide for the Brazilian population (2014), the National Food and Nutrition Policy, the National Food and Nutrition Security System, the National Food and Nutrition Security Policy, the National Student Assistance Program and the Integrated Attention Subsystem to Server Health. The product of the master's final work is a case study with the presentation of a Diagnostic Report and a scientific article.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ciência, comunicação e meio ambiente: processos comunicacionais e estratégias de socialização do conhecimento no projeto Espaço ITEC Cidadão na UFPA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-12-03) QUEIROZ, Fábrício Natalino Bentes; COSTA, Luciana Miranda; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1310961057480638; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3843-4499The interaction between science and society through initiatives of socialization of knowledge has been intensely developed since the 18th century. However, in a scenario of paradigmatic transformations in science, these actions are reconfigured from the influence of several factors, such as criticism of the principles of modernity, the appreciation of different social groups, their knowledge and their cultures, and the strengthening of the communication field. This research starts from the understanding of these phenomena to discuss the interrelation between science, communication and environment to investigate the role of environmental communication in an extensionist action called Espaço ITEC Cidadão, held in the Camillo Vianna and Benito Calzavara woods, located on the Guamá campus of the Federal University of Pará. The main thread is the notion of public communication of science applied to environmental issues, which, in our view, dialogues with the critical debate on the strategies of domination and coloniality, in which science and communication are involved. The exploratory research uses secondary source information about the activities carried out in the Espaço ITEC Cidadão over 15 months and published in the project's profile on the social network Instagram. In addition, the research is supported by an interview, data collection in records of the activities and other materials that reference the project's performance in order to understand the dynamics of interaction between the three fields in this case. The results indicate that there is an interface between science, communication and environment verified by the parallels existing between the different perspectives and models proposed in each area. In the case of the Espaço ITEC Cidadão, this manifests itself in the way the project articulates conceptions of instrumental content to the promotion of a broad debate about sustainability, encompassing the idea of resistance, collectivity and solidarity, for example. Thus, it is evident the tensions and negotiations existing in this relationship, as well as its reflection on the debate abourt social role of knowledge and universities.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Estratégias de permanência de indígenas estudantes na Universidade Federal do Pará: desafios e resistência(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-02-23) ARAYA, Ignacio Gabriel San Martin; CAÑETE, Voyner Ravena; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9961199993740323; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8528-3086The Federal University of Pará/UFPA UFPA is known as one of the public institutions that receives the most indigenous and quilombola students through the Special Selection Process- IQ. However, although it is recognized as one of the pioneers in reserving vacancies for indigenous students, according to the report presented at the IQ Seminar, a significant number of dropouts are observed in the courses. Therefore, this dissertation aims to identify and describe the resistance strategies for the permanence of indigenous students at UFPA. To achieve this objective, during the field research, between 2021 and 2023, the theoretical and methodological assumptions of multisited and digital ethnography, visual anthropology, and biographical approach were used. This research presents the narratives of life trajectory and struggle of indigenous students, as well as the tools created from the pressure exerted by these students. As conclusions, it is concluded that although the university reserves vacancies for indigenous students at UFPA, there is still a long way to go to combat the existing racism in the institution, as well as to improve and expand policies for the permanence of indigenous people in the university. Challenges faced by them were observed, such as adaptation to academic writing, change of city and quality of life, as well as facing racism. This research concludes by pointing out two issues: first, the processes of transformation in the university are due to pressures exerted by the indigenous students themselves, who are part of the Association of Indigenous Peoples Students of the Federal University of Pará, as well as actions taken in conjunction with professors; in this sense, UFPA needs to create an effective institutional policy against the evasion of indigenous students, through the expansion of the number of permanent assistance and housing scholarships, for example.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) GOLIBRAS: uma ferramenta para divulgação dos sinais da UFPA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-05-08) LIBONATI, Ana Carolina Delgado Quaresma; SEIXAS, Netília Silva dos Anjos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2301685130625189; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9879-9193This work is about the development of the Online Glossary of Brazilian Sign Language (GOLIBRAS), a glossary of Libras aimed at the deaf community of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), covering, in its prototypical phase, 29 signs referring to places of the university. We sought to answer the following question: how to provide greater access to Libras signs created within the context of UFPA? The product development was based on an applied research, with a qualitative approach, divided into two phases: one focused on theoretical research, with a bibliographic review; the other one focused on the development of the product and it was divided into three subphases: cataloging of signs, elaboration of the website (its characteristics and functionalities) and evaluation. The bibliographic research was initially focused on linguistic studies of Libras and its speakers, highlighting the notion of deaf community, the signal language parameters (the phonetic aspect of these languages), the classifiers and the SignWriting model. After that, accessibility and its importance were investigated, as well as the accessibility initiatives within the scope of UFPA, highlighting the role of the Accessibility Coordination (CoAcess), responsible for the creation and validation of the signals included in the initial version of GOLIBRAS. In the second part of the research, the development of the product, a cataloging sheet was first developed for the cataloging of signs of UFPA’s places and facilitating their insertion into the product. After that, it was possible to develop the site itself, including all the mentioned signs, besides its definition, example of use and information regarding the parameters used in its execution and its writing in SignWriting. Finally, the product was validated by six individuals, all members of the deaf communities of UFPA and the Federal Rural University of Amazonia (UFRA). The product was considered validated, given the positive reception by the evaluators, but it was clear that some modifications would be necessary. Thus, it was concluded that GOLIBRAS has the capacity to achieve the proposed objective and is a tool that has the potential to assist both in the issue of accessibility in UFPA and in the teaching and learning processes that includes deaf students, deaf and listeners professors and sign language intepreters.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Mulheres na ciência regional: análise da presença na produção científica das docentes e pesquisadoras da Universidade Federal do Pará- UFPA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-05-27) PINHEIRO, Caroline Corrêa; BERRÍO-ZAPATA, Cristian; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0976534900847907; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7314-6487; INOMATA, Danielly Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6976397161261491Scientific production is a fundamental instrument to promote and strengthen the knowledge cycle. This contribution to the production of knowledge occurs through the dissemination of articles in journals, indexed in national and international databases, it also contributes to the certification of research and recognition by peers, which guarantees acceptance and visibility in the scientific society. The female presence in the scientific field has contributed to the production of knowledge, enabling social discussions about the reasons that keep them less productive and the impasses in the progression of the scientific career within universities. In this sense, this research sought to analyze the female presence through scientific production and visibility in publications indexed in Scopus. For this, it aimed to identify the scientific production of UFPA researchers at Scopus in the time frame from 2010 to 2021; categorize scientific production and visibility metadata; to map the networks of co-authorship, of co-occurrence of keywords from the scientific production of women at UFPA; present an overview of the female presence at UFPA by thematic areas. This is a research characterized as quantitative-qualitative, exploratory-descriptive and sought to relate variables and indicators that can measure and evaluate the scientific production of UFPA researchers indexed in Scopus, through the search term affiliation "university of paramedics". ”, using bibliometric techniques for research. The collected data were grouped into three quadrennia: a) 2010 to 2013, b) 2014-2017 e) 2018 to 2021. For the elaboration of maps with the co-authorship networks and co-occurrence of keywords, the VOSviewer software was used. There was a gradual increase in publications by researchers in Scopus and a high level of production by teachers and researchers in Biological Sciences and Health Sciences. Finally, it is possible to infer that the female scientific production at UFPA is focused on collective well-being and regional development. In this way, scientific collaboration between women has the potential to impact health and sustainable Amazonian development.Artigo de Periódico Desconhecido Pedagogia da alternância e(m) etnodesenvolvimento: realidade e desafios(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, 2017-12) OLIVEIRA, Assis da Costa; PARENTE, Francilene de Aguiar; DOMINGUES, William César LopesThis article analyzes the implementation process of Pedagogy of Alternation in the degree course of Ethnodevelopment, hosted by the Federal University of Pará, Altamira campus, Brazil.
