Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Antropização e terreiro: a interdisciplinaridade dos saberes da umbanda e seus impactos no meio socioambiental(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-03-17) OLIVEIRA, Audineia Rodrigues de; AMARAL, Assunção José Pureza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2950887958552733; PIRES, Yomara Pinheiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5304797342599931According to Xavier (2006), the knowledge of the African civilizing presence in the cultural horizons of global societies can be done through the study of their religious complexes, among the other forms of reconstruction of Afrodescendant territorialities. In the scenario of religious intolerance that we live in today in our society, it is of paramount importance to bring to academia and society knowledge that can combat such practices. Thus, the Afro-religiosity Umbanda became the object of study of our research, which was carried out within an interpretative qualitative approach, making use of some ethnographic instruments such as observation, collection of oral narratives and application of semi-structured questionnaires. We propose to research the genealogical history of Umbanda domain Nanã Buruquê and the "Terreiro of Century XIX", and its interfaces with anthropologization, based on an interdisciplinary perspective, because it believes that this is a sociocultural element of fundamental importance for the maintenance and positive visibility for the practices of Umbanda in the municipality of Castanhal, Pará, Brazil. We start from the following problem: How does anthropization occur within the terraces of umbanda and what are the impacts of this relationship on the socio-environmental environment from an interdisciplinary perspective? What generated the following hypotheses: if anthropization is considered an intervention of man on the environment, both environmental and social, there is some kind of anthropization within the terraces of Umbanda, which already carries within its genesis an interdisciplinary character because it is the result of "syncretism" with other religious matrices. The work has as general objective to identify the relations of anthropization within two terraces of umbanda and their possible impacts on the socio-environmental environment, from an interdisciplinary perspective. We made contributions with Coelho (2001), Leff (2004), Bertrand (1971; 2007), Elissalde (2009), Bastide (1971), Durkheim (2006), Geert (2009), Campelo (2003), Amaral (2014), among others. The research revealed the following data: the relationship of anthropization within the terraces is based on orality, transmitting environmental Afro-religious values, in an interdisciplinary way based on the modus operandi of the daily routine of the Umbanda domain, in which each subject is responsible for its integration into the environment, both with regard to religiosity and the environment. The types of anthropization found in the terraces were environmental, religious, mystical and mythological. The impacts caused by the presence of the yard in the social environment of the city are characterized in the field of the provision of assistance, collective, community and solidarity services.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) A encruzilhada de Zé Pelintra com três Mestres-Salas paraenses: por uma ancestralidade artística(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-02-26) GONÇALVES, Arianne Roberta Pimentel; SANTA BRÍGIDA JÚNIOR, Miguel de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6889411521648199This research deals with the poetic establishment of the notion of Ancestralidade Artística based on the crossed dimensions between Zé Pelintra – the great streetwise ancestor of Umbanda – and the Mestre-sala, an emblematic artist of the Brazilian carnival of the samba school, in the mythical, sacred and artistic relationship of the ancestral spectacularity of samba. It is a crossroads-research of Afrocentric epistemological construction and decolonial guerrilla that proposes deconstructions of framed and hierarchical perspectives established to the body. Exu is the great epistemological ancestor, a transgressive and moving force, the crossroads as a motive power for the crossings and the streetwiseness as a philosophy and poetics of the researched streetwise-men. Zé Pelintra and Mestre-sala are enchanted bodies, men of the street, from the terreiro and samba, so called by the observation of the diverse and deep relationships of these spaces-territories in their poetics. The research presents its own iconography, with specific symbols and meanings linked to the fundamentals of Umbanda's Sacred Writing, the riscado signs, and the danced riscado of the mestres-salas Nando Elegância, Bené Brito and Fábio de Cássio, three “entities”, black, afro-religious, famous masters of the carnival of Pará, subjects protagonists of the research that evidence the spectacularity of the riscado in the Amazon. The Ethno-Crossed-Methodology is an authorial creation of the research, based on the process of sensitive listening to the phenomenon, supported by Ethnocenology as the main theoretical-methodological basis and by the ancestral immersions and artistic creations of the exuistic researcher as a woman, mother-artist-flag bearer.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Guarda-roupa encantado: espetacularidade das roupas de caboca do terreiro estandarte de Rei Sebastião, Outeiro - Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-06-30) CASTRO, Otávia Feio; SANTA BRÍGIDA JÚNIOR, Miguel de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6889411521648199Grounded in Ethnoscenology in its transdisciplinary perspective, this research sought to understand the spectacular of the clothes used by Mariinha Jesus Costa Feio, mother-of-saint and caretaker Terreiro Sebastian King Banner, located in Outeiro Island, in Pará. The clothes are dressed in days that celebrates the cabocas entities of the tambor of mina, Herondina and Maria Légua - boss and counter-boss of mother-of-saint respectively - and belonging to a enchanted category mining pantheon - as Luca (2010) the enchanted are described as those who have not had the experience of death and did address in encantarias: forests, rivers, and other environments. To understand these clothes and full experience with the studied phenomenon, thanks to the assumptions of ethnographic research Geertz (2014); the experience period in terreiro realized from june 2015 to may 2016, in which experienced two parties: the caboca Herondina in august and caboca Maria Légua in december. This research aims to contribute to the Etnocenológicos studies in the Amazon, in view of the strength and tradition of the Tambor of Mina in Pará. Noteworthy is also important for those who work with clothes in a general context and more specifically to the costume designers, because during reflections and writing this essay, I took the authorial proposition of costume-etnocenológica, you need constantly exercise the ontological look - in the sense developed by Paes Loureiro (2008). Exercise this that helped to understand the spectacular character of these clothes, which for its making meet previously organized specifics, highlighting what the mother-of-saint of this place says about their cabocas and myths related to Dona Herondina and Dona Maria Légua.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) “Nesse terreiro tem axé e tem viado”: Experiências homoafetivas e sexualidade em um terreiro de umbanda no nordeste paraense.(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-02-28) ROSÁRIO, Vitor Lean do; GONÇALVES, Telma Amaral; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7335593537033167The terreiro Mina Nagô Cabocla Mariana and Tapinaré das Matas, located in Igarapé-Açu, is one of the main Afro-religious centers in the municipality, as it has diferente bodies, sexualited and genders expressions that escape heteronormativity, especially gay men, who inhabt space and enhance the ritualistic dynamics. In this way, the research aims to undertand how the place of male homossexuality is given in Terreiro Mina Nagô Cabocla Mariana and Tapinaré das Matas, either as a wheel or as sympathizer of religion, whose experience are woven with the various sacred gifts presente in space. The experiences, memories and relationships built between gay men and entities were analyzed based on ethnography, which is based on demonstrating the instabilty of the bonds formed during rituals, tours conversations and conflicts. In addition, open interviews with gay interlocutors and entities helped to understand their subjetivities, conceptions and meanings. Therefore, such dynamics (re)produced in the terreiro serve as instruments to enhance contacts between gay men, caboclos, exus, erês, pretovelhos, among other entities that populate the visible and invisible of the terreiro. In this way, I analyze how these dissidente bodies are also parto f the constitution of the sacred in the umbanda house.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) Puta, Pistoleira, Dona de Cabaré: a espetacularidade do corpo-cavalo-travestido de Dona Rosinha Malandra no Templo de Rainha Bárbara Soeira e Toy Azaka. Dona Rosinha incorporates in Rosa Luyara, a Saint's Mother who is a transsexual from the Belém’s periphery, which is the preponderant factor for the development of libertarians and crossroads epistemologies, of immoral nature, whose poetic crossings were experienced by the actress-researcher-bacante, in the affective crossroads of the Amazonian Umbanda. Based on the poetic image of the vulgar-butterfly, the methodology developed in this thesis was configured in a process involving sweet deaths for new transformed lives. Through an ethno-affective method. Pupas, hot vulvas, cocoons, self-estrangements in the understanding of the house-cosmos perfumed with snake perfumes, which is the central force of a body-horse-transvestite. Prostitute, Gunslinger, Cabaret Owner reveals mysteries, secrets of a malandra worldview belonging to a present time, for the social empowerment of a community. As an epistemological contribution to the academy, I develop the notion of body leaning, which is configured in an epistemo-methodological proposal of a body in the process of creation. A butterfly-thesis. This study is a feminist thesis, with transformative, transgressive and deliciously imoral content. The research aims to raise ardent butterfly flights, based on ethnocenological notions of Armindo Bião e Miguel Santa Brigida, in the images of Barchelard, in the imaginary of Durand and in the sensitive thought of Maffesoli to prepare the paths to be walked in an identity construction of gender, community and artistical epistemic freedomDissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Saberes culturais da umbanda e língua brasileira de sinais: estudos terminológicos para proposta de um glossário(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-11-12) FARO, Rubens Alexandre de Oliveira; FERNANDES, José Guilherme dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7023812449790431; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9946-4961; PIRES, Yomara Pinheiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5304797342599931This research from the Master program in Anthropic Studies, in languages, technologies, knowledge and cultures research line, is entiled Cultural Knowledge of Umbanda and Brazilian Sign Language: Terminological Studies for the Proposal of a Glossary, prsents the general objective of organizing a glossary of Libras (brazilian sign language) from the experience of a deaf person in the daily life of an Umbanda Tent in the metropolitan area of Belém, in a dialogue between religious knowledges and languages and the deaf subjects, considering the context of linguistic borrowing and the creation of sign in the community.
