Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Abordagem das Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação (TIC) nas disciplinas dos cursos de Educação do Campo do Estado do Pará(Universidade do Estado do Pará, 2021) FORMIGOSA, Marcos MarquesThe Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are highlighted nowadays, influenced by the new coronavirus pandemic. The research aims to analyze the ICT in the curricular disciplines of the Pedagogical Courses Projects (PCP) of Graduation in Rural Education offered in Pará. In documentary nature and with qualitative approach, the research identified that the ICT discipline is present in only two of seven analyzed PCP, but appears in twelve menus as content. However, the theoretical discussions prevail to the detriment of practical activities. Moreover, they relate the ICT to devices/electronics and technologic instruments.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Abundância e diversidade de palmeiras no Distrito Florestal Sustentável da rodovia BR-163, Pará, Brasil(2011-09) SALM, Rodolfo Aureliano; JARDIM, Mário Augusto Gonçalves; ALBERNAZ, Ana Luisa Kerti MangabeiraThe abundance and diversity of palm species, as well as its relationship with forest structure were investigated in two study areas in the Sustainable Forest District of the BR-163 road. As such, forty parcels of 0.04 ha (20 × 20 m) were established in a pristine forest in the Amazonia National Park, and another forty parcels in a area submitted to timber logging in the Tapajos National Forest. In each parcel, all the trees with DBH ≥ 10 cm were measured and the adult palms were identified and counted. We verified that although the exploited forest of the Tapajos National Forest is structurally more open than the forest in the national park, it still has a quantity and diversity of palms inferior to the national park, probably due to the dispersal limitation of palms and the relatively recent logging activities. We concluded that exploitation potential of palms in native forests of the region is extremely limited by the natural scarcity of palms in native forests of economic potential, but could be amplified with the deliberate planting of useful species, with benefits for the natural dynamics of the forest.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Abundância, composição e diversidade de Arctiinae (Lepidoptera, Arctiidae) em um fragmento de floresta na Amazônia Oriental em Altamira, PA, Brasil(Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazônia, 2012-03) TESTON, José Augusto; NOVAES, Jessé Bucioli; ALMEIDA JÚNIOR, José Otávio BarrosThis study evaluated the Arctiinae fauna in a fragment of primary forest in Altamira, Pará, Eastern Amazonia, Brazil. The moths were sampled during two years (from August 2007 to July 2009) with a light trap. The following parameters were measured: richness, abundance, constancy, diversity and evenness indices (Shannon H ‘and E') and Brillouin (H and E), and dominance index of Berger-Parker (BP). The richness estimatives were made by nonparametric procedures, Bootstrap, Chao 1, Chao 2, Jackknife 1, Jackknife2 and Michaelis-Mentem. Four hundred and sixty-six individuals of 78 species of Arctiinae were captured, of which twelve are new records for Pará State. Values of parameters analyzed for the entire period were: H ‘= 3.08, E' = 0.708, H = 2.86, E = 0.705, and Sp = 0.294. Communities of the less rainy months were more diverse. Estimators predicted an increase between 17 to 253 in species richness.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A acessibilidade de uma escola ribeirinha num dado contexto da Amazônia paraense(Universidade Estadual Paulista, 2022) FORMIGOSA, Marcos Marques; COSTA, Kélli Cristina de Jesus Ferreira; GIESE, Jhennifer Lorenna Freitas; MILÉO, Irlanda do Socorro de OliveiraThe article analyzes accessibility from a universal design perspective in a riverside school on the Xingu River in Altamira (PA). The research has ethnographic inspirations using data gathered field experiences between 2018 and 2019 in a riverine community. This data was recorded in a field diary and on multimedia and then analyzed using a qualitative approach. The empirical research has shown that the school architecture lacks accessibility for both permanently disabled people and those with reduced mobility, whether temporary or permanent. The facilities and their functioning are precarious in its internal and external spaces in accordance with the standards and legislation in force, for there are not: appropriate toilets; access ramps on either the school harbour or the entrance to the classroom; signs in the spaces; poor ventilation; no electricity and running water; recreational and physical activities areas; canteen, etc. Such spaces imply the precarisation of teachers’ work just as reflect in a negative way in the school children’s teaching and learning processes, as well as keeping families in the community with no access to it. We see the immediate need for the implementation of public policies of accessibility in this context as in other rural schools in the Amazon region especially on the riverside areas.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) As ações sociais da Irmã Serafina Cinque na Transamazônica (1970-1979) e as aproximações teóricas de Paul Ricoeur sobre o sentido de esperança(Universidade Comunitária da Região de Chapecó, 2021-12) FREITAS, Léia Gonçalves de; MILÉO, Irlanda do Socorro de Oliveira; PARENTE, Francilene de AguiarThe Transamazônica highway is 50 years old. By delimiting this period, the text exposes to interested readings five possible parties of its history. Certain that a reliable portrait of its trajectory is infactible in History studies, we assume the deliberate selection of episodes found in consulted sources and documents, so that we could somehow represent the countless faces of such an object. We started with the prefix “trans” as a device for interpreting the word “transamazônica”. When determining such a prefix as an enhancer of meanings, we can identify other qualities and understandings for this road than just a transport infrastructure. The Transamazônica highway is, above all, an action, surrounded by innumerable attributes: is to transfigure by symbologies, it is to go through scales, it is to transform by technification, it is to show through utopian landscapes, it is upsetting by the invisible. They are portraits of a highway that the forest, in its own way, managed to tame. But until when?Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O alteamento das vogais pré-tônicas no português falado na área rural do município de Breves (PA): uma abordagem variacionista(Revista Virtual de Estudos da Linguagem, 2007-08) DIAS, Marcelo Pires; SOBRINHO ALVES, Orlando Cassique; CRUZ, Regina Célia FernandesThe present article deals with the raising [o] > [u] and [e] > [i] in pretonic guideline in the dialect of the rural area of the city of Breves-PA. Considered as changeable occurrences, had been analyzed given such as [boneca] in the place of [buneca]; as well as the ones of the type [mininu] in the place of [meninu]. It was objectified to also verify the conditionings of this variation, in the perspective of the possibility of interference of the tonic vowel, when this will be high, what he has been called for studious the Portuguese of Brazil of vowel harmony. The used data counted on stories of 36 informers born in the locality, totalizing 2624 data of occurrence or not-occurrence of the studied phenomenon. The support for the data processing is represented by the package of statistical programs Varbrul. The results had shown that the presence of the contiguous vowel /i/ or /u/ syllabifies it daily pretonic favors the application of the rule, as well as, therefore how much lesser in the distance in the distance bigger the possibility of occurrence of the phenomenon. In that it says respect to the grammatical class, the nominal suffixes and the diminutive ones if had presented supporters of the application of the rule Finally is possible to say that in relation factors social, the schoolarity also if showed supporter of application of rule, for the fact of that more they study less to high up of than those that they possess few years of study or they had not frequented the school, as well as the informers older than they high up more of the one that more the young. The research also showed a bigger presence of the middle high vowels in detriment of the middle low.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Arctiinae (Lepidoptera, Arctiidae) coletados em unidades de conservação estaduais do Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil(2006-06) TESTON, José Augusto; SPECHT, Alexandre; DI MARE, Rocco Alfredo; CORSEUIL, ElioArctiinae (Lepidoptera, Arctiidae) collected in protected unities in Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil. The objective of this work was to analyze the composition of the Arctiinae communities at Parque Estadual do Espigão Alto (Barracão), Parque Estadual de Rondinha (Sarandí), Parque Estadual do Turvo (Derrubadas) and at Reserva Biológica de Ibirapuitã (Alegrete). Ten light traps were used to collect the lepidopterous from November/2000 to February/2001, sampling one nigth per area. The lepidopterous were identified at subfamily and tribe levels and, when it was possible, at genera and species levels. A total 5,969 Arctiinae belonging to 137 morpho species, distributed in 6 tribes were collected.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Arctiinae (Lepidoptera, Arctiidae) ocorrentes em uma área de pastagem na Amazônia Oriental em Altamira, Pará, Brasil(Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazônia, 2013-03) DELFINA, Márcia Cristina; TESTON, José AugustoThis study evaluated the Arctiinae fauna of a pasture area in Altamira, Pará, eastern Amazon, using light traps. The moths were captured at every new moon phase, two nights per phase, from December 2008 to November 2010. We evaluated the following parameters: richness, abundance, dominance, constancy, diversity indexes and evenness (Shannon H' and E'; Brillouin H and E), and Berger-Parker dominance (BP). Richness estimates were made by nonparametric procedures: Bootstrap, Chao1, Chao2, Jackknife1, Jackknife2 and Michaelis-Mentem. We captured a total of 910 specimens belonging to 85 species of Arctiinae. Values of parameters for the total period were: H' = 2.58, E' = 0.581, H = 2.45, E = 0.576 and BP = 0.433. Both richness and abundance were higher in 2009-2010, while diversity and Shannon and Brillouin evenness were higher for the year 2008-2009. Estimators predicted an increase between 18.8% to 85.9% in species richness.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Assessing the genetic structure of Oryza glumaepatula populations with isozyme markers(2008-10) VEASEY, Elizabeth Ann; CARDIM, Daruska Cavalcante; SILVA, Rainério Meireles da; BRESSAN, Eduardo de Andrade; VENCOVSKY, RolandTo assess the genetic diversity and genetic structure parameters, nine populations of Oryza glumaepatula from the Amazon biome, four from the Pantanal biome, and one collected at Rio Xingu, Mato Grosso, totaling 14 populations and 333 individuals were studied with isozyme markers. Six loci were evaluated showing a moderate allozyme variability (A = 1.21, P = 20.7%, Ho = 0.005, He = 0.060). The populations from the Pantanal biome showed higher diversity levels than the Amazon biome. High genetic differentiation among the populations, expected for self-fertilizing species, was observed (FST=0.763), with lower differentiation found among the Pantanal populations (FST=0.501). The average apparent outcrossing rate was higher for the Pantanal populations (ta = 0.092) than for the Amazonian populations (ta = 0.003), while the average for the 14 populations was 0.047, in accordance with a self-fertilization mating system.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Biomass yield and calorific value of six clonal stands of Eucalyptus urophylla S. T. Blake cultivated in Northeastern Brazil(Universidade Federal de Lavras, 2013-09) ANDRADE, Thiago Cavalcante Gomes Ribeiro de; BARROS, Nairam Félix de; DIAS, Luiz Eduardo; AZEVEDO, Maria Inês RamosThe worldwide demand for clean, sustainable energy has increased in recent years. A potential alternative energy source is biomass from nonnative forests, particularly from the genus Eucalyptus spp. in the specific case of Brazil, currently with several selected clonal stands for energy production. Because each stand adapts differently to different environments, specific studies are required in order to evaluate energy production in a given region. The objective of this study is to determine, from among six clonal stands of Eucalyptus urophylla S. T. Blake, which have greater potential for production of biomass and energy in the South Central region of Maranhão (Grajaú). Clonal stands planted at a spacing of 4 x 3 m apart were evaluated at age 41 months, distributed in a completely randomized design with five replicates. Each experimental plot consisted of 100 trees. Analysis included determining biomass yield and distribution in each tree portion as well as calorific value of bark and wood components. Out of the six clonal stands, two outdid the others both in biomass yield and in energy generation, surpassing the least yielding stand by up to 27%.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Cibercultura e ensino de ciências: questões contextuais a partir da disciplina Tecnologia da Informação e Comunicação (tics) no curso de educação do campo ênfase, em ciências da natureza(Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro, 2019-12) CORDEIRO, Leonardo Zenha; CORREA, Juliane; FORMIGOSA, Marcos MarquesThe text approaches the teaching of science, taking as reference the social and technical changes from the reality of the students of the Course of Field Education (emphasis in Nature Sciences), understanding the cyberculture as one of the fundamental elements to think about teaching and its changes in the current period. The proposal is part of a reflection based on the subject of Information and Communication Technology (ICTS), having as background the implications of these in the teaching of science, one of the disciplines that graduates of this course can act. The text seeks to make explicit conceptual and contextual elements in this field of study, cyberculture and science teaching present in the field education, in face of daily living in and outside the classroom, especially in the undergraduate course in Field Education, which is underway in the region of the Transamazônica highway and Xingu River, west of the state of Pará.The reflections point to the non-separation of school time and community time in the learning processes as an innovative element that is enhanced through the use of ICTs.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Clarice vai ao cinema: a recepção crítica do filme ''A hora da estrela'' no exterior(Universidade Estadual de Montes Claros, 2020-11) ARAÚJO, Gilberto Alves; SOUSA, Eliene Rodrigues; LOPES, Raquel da SilvaThis work aims to present and discuss the critical reception by foreign media regarding the movie The hour of the star(1985), by Suzana Amaral, which is based on a homonymous novel by Lispector. The paper also seeks to (re)assess the relevance of this movie for cinematography and the dissemination of Lispector’s literature; as well as its ability to transpose literary language. Our methodology consists of a critical review of foreign media texts published between 1987 and 2019.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Composição de espécies de Arctiidae (Lepidoptera) no sul do Brasil: relação entre tipos de vegetação e entre a configuração espacial do hábitat(2009-06) FERRO, Viviane Gianluppi; TESTON, José AugustoWe describe the beta-diversity pattern of the Arctiidae in Rio Grande do Sul State (RS) and assess whether this pattern is related to similarities in vegetation type or geographic distance among areas. We analysed 9420 specimens in 13 scientific collections, as well as two published checklists. Three hundred twenty nine arctiid species were recorded for 55 localities. This richness corresponded to 5.6% of the Neotropical fauna, and 16.5% of the estimated Brazilian fauna. Fifty two species (15.8%) were recorded for the first time in the state. There was no relationship between beta-diversity (Sorensen distance) and geographic distance among the localities, suggesting that the spatial configuration of the habitat did not influence significantly the locomotion of the Arctiidae moths among landscapes. The multivariate analysis suggested that the Arctiidae fauna differ among vegetation types. The composition of the fauna at the Floresta Ombrófila Mista (Araucaria forest) is very distinct from other vegetation type faunas. Species richness was higher on forest habitats than in open habitats.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Correlações entre compostos fenólicos e atividade antioxidante em casca e polpa de variedades de uva de mesa(Instituto de Tecnologia de Alimentos, 2018) SOUZA, Angela Vacaro de; VIEIRA, Marcos Ribeiro da Silva; PUTTI, Fernando FerrariGrapes are considered a major source of phenolic compounds when compared to other vegetables, but the great diversity amongst the cultivars results in fruits with different characteristics of taste and colour, which is certainly associated with the polyphenol content and profile. Skins and pulps of ripe samples of “Itália”, “Brasil”, “Rubi”, “Thompson” and “Niagara Rosada” grapes from the Campinas and Jundiaí regions - SP state - Brazil, were studied with the objective of evaluating the antioxidant activity, enzymatic activities of peroxidase and polyphenoloxidase, phenolic compounds and ascorbic acid. In order to verify correlations between the skins and pulps of the varieties and the characteristics studied, Pearson’s correlation, the generalized distance of Mahalanobis (D2) and finally the grouping of the different responses using the multivariate analysis, were carried out. It was verified that the skins of the grapes analysed had a positive correlation with the phenolic compounds, polyphenoloxidase activity and ascorbic acid content, except for “Niagara Rosada”, showing higher levels for these evaluations. There was no correlation between the antioxidant activity and the other analyzes. This shows that for the majority of the varieties evaluated, the skins are a great source of these compoundsItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Crescimento de espécies arbóreas em uma floresta natural de terra firme após a colheita de madeira e tratamentos silviculturais, no município de Paragominas, Pará, Brasil(Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, 2015-12) SOUZA, Deivison Venício; CARVALHO, João Olegário Pereira de; MENDES, Fernanda da Silva; MELO, Lia de Oliveira; SILVA, José Natalino Macedo; JARDIM, Fernando Cristóvam da SilvaThis paper deals with the effects of silvicultural treatments on growth rates of a terra firme natural forest after reduced impact logging (RIL). The study was carried out in the Rio Capim Forest Management Unit, which belongs to Cikel Brasil Verde Madeiras Ltda., located in the municipality of Paragominas, PA. The experimental area comprised 500 ha, where five treatments (100 ha each) each with four replications (25 ha each) were established. The replications were randomly distributed in the 500 ha sample area. The following treatments were applied: T1 - RIL + classical liberation thinning (girdling of competing trees) and climber cutting; T2 - RIL + modified liberation thinning (girdling of competing trees) and climber cutting; T3 - RIL + climber cutting; T6 - only RIL; T7 - unlogged forest (control). In the four years of monitoring forest, after logging and silvicultural treatments, T2 and T3 had the highest diameter growth rates. But the four-year period is not enough to suggest the best treatment, based on diameter growth rate, in response to girdling trees and climber cutting. At species level, growth rate varied between treatments and within treatments. In general, the lower diameter growth rates were observed in the unlogged forest.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O Curso de Etnodesenvolvimento e a formação diferenciada e intercultural: contribuições no contexto educacional, sociopolítico e cultural da Amazônia(Universidade Federal do Paraná, 2021) PARENTE, Francilene de Aguiar; MILÉO, Irlanda do Socorro de OliveiraThis article analyzes how the Ethnodevelopment course offered by the Universidade Federal do Pará [Federal University of Pará]/Altamira University Campus has contributed to the academic, political and professional training of students belonging to indigenous peoples and traditional communities in the context of the Amazon. It provides a descriptive-analytical approach to their experiences, starting with the process of the creation and organization of the course, based on affirmative public policies undertaken in Brazil, as well the course methodology and the challenges faced for the course to be implemented in the light of institutional issues. The reflections put forward show that the Ethnodevelopment course has contributed to expanding possibilities of action and political negotiation by these social agents based on their spaces of collective belonging, as well contributing to differentiated training that enables and instrumentalizes their inclusion as professionals in the field of education in the different territories of the Amazon region.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Cytogenetic analysis of Baryancistrus xanthellus (Siluriformes: Loricariidae: Ancistrini), an ornamental fish endemic to the Xingu River, Brazil(Sociedade Brasileira de Ictiologia, 2016) MEDEIROS, Larissa Azevedo de; GURGEL, Eduardo Gentil Ginani; SOUSA, Leandro Melo de; PY-DANIEL, Lúcia Helena Rapp; FELDBERG, ElianaBaryancistrus xanthellus is a species from the Ancistrini tribe known commonly as "amarelinho " or "golden nugget pleco". It is one of the most popular and valued ornamental fishes due to its color pattern. Also, it is an endemic species from the Xingu River occurring from Volta Grande do Xingu, region where the Belo Monte Hydropower Dam is being built, to São Félix do Xingu. The current study aimed to cytogenetically characterize B. xanthellus . Results point to the maintenance of 2n=52, which is considered the most common condition for the tribe, and a single nucleolus organizer region (NOR). Mapping of the 18S rDNA confirmed the NOR sites, and the 5S rDNA was mapped in the interstitial position of a single chromosome pair. The 18S and 5S rDNA located in different pairs constitute an apomorphy in Loricariidae. Large blocks of heterochromatin are present in pairs 1 and 10 and in the regions equivalent to NOR and the 5S rDNA. Data obtained in this study corroborated with the currently accepted phylogenetic hypothesis for the Ancistrini and demonstrate evidence that the genus Baryancistrus occupies a basal position in the tribe.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Da escola campeã ao programa Rede Vencer: um olhar sobre suas repercussões na gestão e na organização curricular e pedagógica da educação municipal em Altamira-Pará(Universidade Federal da Grande Dourados, 2012-08) MILÉO, Irlanda do Socorro de Oliveira; CHIZZOTTI, AntonioConcerning discussions about the administration of education in the Champion school program, now called the Network Wins program, this article intends to reflect on the administration of this educational policy for the society of Altamira, meaning to analyze if the strategies adopted by the SEMEC make possible not only an improvement in the quality of local education, but also the participation in this program of the students, teachers, directors, parents and the local community in its establishment and implementation during the period from 2001 to 2005 in the city of Altamira. This study was centered on qualitative research (CHIZZOTTI, 2006) and on some principles of the analysis of discussion, theoretic support obtained from authors such as Oliveira (2002, 2004), Ferreira (2004), Paro (1998, 2001), Lima (2001). This research showed that the centralized character of the manner of administration of this policy favored a rational/bureaucratic model, founded in the control of the results of performance, and also favored a concentration of decisions with the SEMEC and the Municipal government itself, consequently distancing itself from participation by the schools themselves and from society.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Decontaminant solution on in vitro growth of Byrsonima intermedia seedlings(2015-04) SILVA, Luciano Coutinho; PAIVA, Renato; VARGAS, Daiane Peixoto; SILVA, Diogo Pedrosa Corrêa da; BARBOSA, Sandro; HERRERA, Raírys CravoByrsonima intermedia A. Juss., is a medicinal and fruit plant of the Cerrado in which the conventional propagation is difficult due to the presence of extremely lignified endocarps. Although sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) is widely used in the surface decontamination, there are few reports of its effects on explant growth. The aim of this work was to study the effect of different pH and exposure periods of B. intermedia seeds to a NaOCl solution. Seeds were subjected to different exposure periods (1, 5 and 10 minutes) to a NaOCl solution at different pH (5, 7, 10 and 12) and after treatment with NaOCl, embryos were inoculated in a WPM medium with 50% concentration of salts without sucrose, 0.5% agar and pH 5.8 and after 75 days of culture the growth of seedlings was evaluated. The use of NaOCl is effective in the decontamination of B. intermedia seeds, independent of pH variation and exposure periods and the parameters such as percentage of normal seedlings, shoot length, and number of leaves are positively affected by the use of NaOCl solution at pH 8.5-8.9 and by increasing the exposure period, however, the number of roots is affected only by increasing the exposure period in the NaOCl solution.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Democracia, totalitarismo e analfabetismo em "O Leitor", de Bernhard schlink(Universidade Federal Fluminense, 2018-04) SARAIVA, Luis Junior Costa; CARVALHO, Elanir França; LOPES, Raquel da Silva; SOUZA, César Martins deLiterature makes possible dialogues about important moments of History by bringing the memories, dialogues, and view of main characters and other people who have lived the period. The years between the two World Wars as well as the massacre perpetrated during the World War II are theme of diverse fiction works that propose to reflect about a period in which people were placed as servants of a totalitarian state to the detriment of the collective rights and the citizenship. In The Reader, Hanna takes decisions that, for many times, seem to harm her, in the search for omitting a big secret: not being literate. The shame of being illiterate is so strong that Hanna renounces the professional rise or even prefers to be seen as a Nazi executioner not to have her secret revealed. The work of Bernhard Schlink allows us to unravel a moment of History in which people were turned into pieces of a state, acting not like autonomous subjects, with ethical and moral values, but in the name of a greater collective good that would be the construction of a big and strong nation.
