Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Trichospilus diatraeae (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae): development and reproduction in Lepidoptera palm oil pests(Instituto Internacional de Ecologia, 2019-09) RIBEIRO, Rafael Coelho; ZANUNCIO, José Cola; PARREIRA, Mariana Casari; MAHMOUD, Hany Ahmed Fouad Hanafy; PIKART, Tiago Georg; SOARES, Marcos Alvarega; CASTRO, Eustaquio Vinicius RibeiroBrazil is a leading palm oil producer, but the defoliating caterpillars Opsiphanes invirae Hübner Brassolis sophorae L. (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae) can reduce the productivity of this crop. The aim of this study was to evaluate the development and reproduction of the parasitoid Trichospilus diatraeae Cherian & Margabandhu (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) in pupae of these oil palm defoliators. Ten O. invirae or B. sophorae pupae with up to two days old were exposed each to 30 T. diatraeae females for 48 hours. Parasitism and emergence of the progeny of T. diatraeae were similar in pupae of both Lepidoptera defoliators. The life cycle of this parasitoid was shorter in O. invirae (21.50 ± 0.42 days) pupae than with those of B. sophorae (27.60 ± 1.80 days). The number of the progeny (669.00 ± 89.62) and dead immature (217.13 ± 58.18) of T. diatraeaewere higher in B. sophorae pupae than in those of O. invirae with 447.83 ± 51.52 and 13.50 ± 5.23, respectively. The sex ratio and female and male longevity of T. diatraeae emerged from these hosts were similar. The reproductive traits, especially the number of individuals (offspring) of T. diatraeae were better with B. sophorae pupae than with those of O. invirae.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise das técnicas argumentativas da teoria da argumentação a partir da aprendizagem baseada em problemas em um curso de férias(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-03) SOUSA, Taize Borges; MALHEIRO, João Manoel da SilvaWith the aim to analyze the context of a Vacation Course (VC), within its problem-based learning (PBL) methodology, we identified characteristics and applied argumentative techniques that positively influence its construction process. Based on the Argumentation Treaty (AT) of Perelman (1987) and studies on VC with a PBL perspective. Data were analyzed from the transcription of six video-recorded social interactive activities of the VC, conducted by licensed instructors. The results have shown that the argumentative techniques as described by the AT could be identified in the VC, especially when it presents compatible features with the notions of audience, orator and the scope of discussion proposed by Perelman. In addition, the frequent use of the argumentative techniques of causal relationships is related to the need that the licensed instructors have of explaining and justifying the experiments and the conclusions achieved during the VC activities.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O “Vocabulario portuguez e latino” e brasílico, de Raphael Bluteau: análise dos brasileirismos ameríndios da base Tupí(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-07-10) LOPES, Jorge Domingues; CABRAL, Ana Suelly Arruda CâmaraThis is a brief study of Amerindian Brazilianisms based in Tupí, a Brazilian indigenous language, present in Raphael Bluteau’s Vocabulario Portuguez e Latino, a work published in Portugal in the early eighteenth century in eight volumes with two supplements. Such Brazilianisms are classified within their respective entries and inventoried and analyzed case by case from an etymological perspective. Bluteau also took into consideration possible sources as well as lexicographic elements that make up the microstructures where such words occur, seeking to highlight their lexical-structural peculiarities. The study also presents a synthesis on the main semantic fields (among which it was possible to identify: food, animal, body, space, ethnonym, object, quality, sound, substance, title and vegetable fields) of these terms and proposes a systematization, in the form of an alphabetically ordered glossary of all inventoried data, with the respective etymology, when possible.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Levinas e a reconstrução da subjetividade ética aproximações com o campo da educação(2014-06) MIRANDA, José Valdinei AlbuquerqueThis article aims to discuss the concept of subjectivity in its relation to otherness in education, based on the philosophical thought of Emanuel Levinas. First, it presents the discussion of subjectivity in modern philosophy, and his way of conceiving it as an ideal of free and sovereign subject. Then it develops a critical analysis that problematizes the alleged sovereignty of the subject and reconstructs a new ethical subjectivity, located in the condition of hostage, capable of accommodating the irreducible alterity of the other as an idea of infinity. In the context of the reconstruction of subjectivity, the study establishes approaches to the field of education, emphasizing the educational experience as an ethical event par excellence.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Comparação entre métodos para determinar o período anterior à interferência de plantas daninhas em feijoeiros com distintos tipos de hábitos de crescimento(2014-12) PARREIRA, Mariana Casari; ALVES, Pedro Luis da Costa Aguiar; LEMOS, Leandro Borges; PORTUGAL, João Martim deBeans grain productivity may be reduced by up to 80% and, therefore, knowing the proper time to control weeds becomes fundamental, his research was conducted in order to determine the period prior to interference (PPI) on bean cultivars of different types' plant growth through distinct approaches: arbitrary level of 5% productivity loss; tolerance level (TL), and the Weed Period Prior to Economic Loss (WEEPPEL). Experimental treatments were constituted of ten periods of coexistence, periods of the crop with the weeds: 0-7; 0-14; 0-21; 0-28; 0-35; 0-42; 0-49;0-56; 0-97 (harvesting) days after emergency (DAE), and a control plot, weed free for the entire period. The experimental design was of the Random Block Design, with four replications. PPI was obtained in all of the different approaches, and the bean plant type II with indeterminate growth had the lowest times of coexistence.
