It is concluded that the methodology was able to achieve the established objectives, indicating by means of fuzzy logic a better decision making in the production of products.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise do processo de conformidade das normas regulamentadoras em uma empresa de telecomunicações em Manaus(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-07-16) OLIVEIRA, Marcos Daniel Santos de; MAGNO, Rui Nelson Otoni; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9017163598972975With the globalization of markets, there has been a considerable increase in global competitiveness, which imposes on organizations the continuous search for new management tools, such as in the area of occupational health and safety. Regulatory Standards (NRs) can be defined as the set of technical provisions and procedures related to worker health and safety (OSH) in a given activity or function. These NRs, being well analyzed and used, allow companies to offer safe and healthy working environments and conditions to their employees. Based on the scientific point of view, it is necessary for companies to carry out an adequate study to assess how compliance with the NR`s is, because from them it is possible to adapt the organization to labor legislation. Therefore, the motivation for preparing this dissertation is explained due to the need to understand more about the NRs related to Safety and Health at Work (OSH) in a company in the telecommunications sector that is standardization. Due to this need, the objective of this paper is to analyze the compliance with regulatory standards related to Safety and Health at Work in a company in the telecommunications sector, in order to avoid possible fines by the Ministry of Labor. The research was classified as exploratory and a case study. The data sources needed to carry out the study were: field research, bibliography, and direct observational analysis. By carrying out the checklist of telecommunications company X, it was possible to identify and analyze the critical points found in the audit through the Pareto Diagram quality tool, in which the main irregularities and potential fines that the company can pay for non-compliance were verified. of NRs. The irregularities evidenced the existence of several non-compliances in the company, through the infractions stipulated in NR-28, the potential risk of a fine was calculated at R$816,338.66, converting this result into a Pareto chart, within the four infractions, it appears that only infraction 3 is responsible for most of the items in non-compliance, which represents a potential risk of a fine of R$ 464,466.94. Based on percentage calculations, it is pointed out that infraction 3 represents 57.90% of the total that the company can pay for non-compliance. In other words, the violation of this infraction should be the priority because it represents the greatest potential risk of a fine for telecommunications company X. Considering the need to mitigate the non-compliant items of the 21 NRs applicable to telecommunications companies, actions to be taken were proposed, which was presented by the SW2H tool, for the standards (NR-7, NR-9, NR-10, NR-15, NR-17, NR-33, NR-35) that most influence the results of the aforementioned company. Therefore, with the analysis of the NRs in telecommunications company X, proposed solutions were carried out through an action plan, presented in full in Appendix B, to regularize and adjust the NRs that are shown in the result of this work.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Aplicação da extrapolação de Richardson na otimização de problemas em fluidodinâmica computacional(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-02-03) SANTOS, Alexandre Marcus Madeira; MAGNO, Rui Nelson Otoni; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9017163598972975The present work aims to investigate the application of the Richardson Extrapolation (ER) method as an alternative to reduce the simulation time of a specific CFD problem, which is related to a convective and diffusive problem. The geometry under study was built in the Blender software. The initial and boundary conditions were set using the BlenderFDS program, the calculation was done with a CFD code called Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS), the results were extracted with smokeview software. In addition, Richardson extrapolation code was developed in the Fortran programming language. Flow field properties such as specific mass, pressure, temperature and velocity were calculated for three mesh sizes with and without the RE method. The extrapolated results show promise for maintaining accuracy at a lower computational cost.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Aplicação de software estatístico na prática de ensino em ciência da educação(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-02-16) SILVA, Sarley de Araújo; MAGNO, Rui Nelson Otoni; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9017163598972975The CEP provides the quality control of an institution's engineering applications, that is, in the choice of questions and analysis of variables. This control makes use of statistical tools for continuous process improvement. In view of this, the present work aimed to control abnormalities in probability and statistics problems through the use of control charts from the Minitab Software, specifically, the implementation of the concepts of control charts by variables and attributes was sought. To carry out this theme, the quantitative methodology and the control chart of the Minitab Software were used. The results obtained in the graphs presented during this study allowed us to identify, correct and reduce variations in statistical problems, providing clear and precise solutions to the most complex issues. It is concluded that the use of the software brings improvement in applications of the statistical sciences, it becomes important for solving problems in several areas, since the issues analyzed by this method reduce the variability, achieving results with greater precision. Thus, the statistical tool from the charts and their corrective actions is capable of stabilizing the standard deviations and improving the specific standard of the applications proposed in the teaching of educational scienceItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) A aplicação do Lean six sigma para a melhoria da gestão de processos de uma empresa do setor eletroeletrônico: Estudo de caso(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-07-30) SILVA, Leildo Jander da Mota; MAGNO, Rui Nelson Otoni; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9017163598972975The application of Lean Six Sigma methodology has shown good results obtained in companies when techniques and tools are used continuously with the objective of obtaining improvements by reducing waste and reducing variability. As a result, benefits were presented, such as: flexibility to increase production capacity due to the new layout arrangement and 67% reduction of Work In Process that made 25% of the total industrial area viable; versatility in the assembly process due to increased training of operators to produce all models; 5,5% reduction of the operator quantity keeping the same productive capacity; a reduction of at least 25% in the investment needed to implement new products, reaching up to 60% depending on the motorcycle in question, enabling the approval of the launch of four models in the last six months and avoiding an increase of 51.25% in value the asset chart; annual reduction of R$ 80,000.00 in costs with spare parts and preventive maintenance service; 15% reduction in electricity consumption; and a 5% decrease in line stoppage due to the limitation to change the production plan. With that, it provided greater brand competitiveness in the Brazilian market even when compared to other brands in thex same segment that have already presented studies of process optimization focused on the Lean Production principle but limited to the manufacturing benefits.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Indicadores de alcance das expectativas do projeto industrial na zona franca de Manaus a partir do processo de acompanhamento das contrapartidas obrigatórias(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-06-03) SENA, José Roberto Carvalho; MAGNO, Rui Nelson Otoni; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9017163598972975The work in question details the process of granting, implementing and monitoring the industrial project and, based on the data collected resulting from the sample selected between the years 2017 to 2020, built indicators of reaching the expectations of the approved industrial project that can structure the flow inspection and analysis of the results of the tax waiver granted. The study used quantitative methods to determine technical, documentary and bibliographic procedures of the Superintendence of the Free Trade Zone of Manaus (SUFRAMA). Data collection was intended to be descriptive and exploratory, in order to carry out a statistical analysis of the results and an interrelationship between the indicators in order to determine which levelers are aligned with the effectiveness of the public policy that brings improvements and development to the region, with regard to the Manaus Free Trade Zone. Six (6) indicators were created to quantitatively measure the data of the planned project versus the one carried out. With the study it was observed that the effectiveness of the implementation of the industrial project in the Industrial Pole of Manaus - PIM, from the point of life of the counterpart expectation X reality measured and analyzed, depends on factors often inherent to the decisions of companies and it is noticed that neither all companies were able to comply, and it may have been the fact of oversizing the data in the project. Without going into detail, the pandemic did not have a significant impact as initially planned. Corroborating this way, with the positive results obtained by the companies implanted/studied in the Industrial Pole of Manaus.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Um modelo de previsão de vendas em uma empresa de médio porte na cidade de Manaus(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-02-18) FONSECA, Vera Lúcia de Assis da Fonseca; MAGNO, Rui Nelson Otoni; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9017163598972975The sales forecasting process has been structured over time with new technologies and tools, for data consolidation and handling. The companies, which previously had no focus on the sales forecasting process, were not impacted by the lack of it, but currently, adjustments are necessary for its insertion, because there is consensus that only intuitivity, usually directed by past experiences or subjectivities, or optimized results or underestimated them. Walking in the above, this research aims to identify a sales forecast model appropriate to the portfolio of a medium-sized beverage company. In the study of this dissertation, the explanatory research technique was applied with exploratory and descriptive analyses, and minitab® and Excel software was also used® to perform the analyses through statistical abstracts, tables and figures, so that there was the assertive choice of the model to be applied to the business. Qualitative and quantitative forecastmodels, graphic analysis, residue scans and forecast error calculations were evaluated. The mean deviations and MAPEs (Mean Absolute Percent Error) of the models were compared: moving average, exponential smoothing, linear trend and holt winter and, as conclusion, the models with the lowest prediction errors were: moving average N=2 with MAPE=14.8%, exponential smoothing with MAPE=15.2% and linear trend with MAPE=15.4%. The choice was for the exponential smoothing model, although not the slightest error is easy to apply and weights the historical data.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Práticas de gestão da qualidade e desempenho empresarial nas organizações através do programa de certificação de empresas (PROCEM) do Maranhão(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-02-06) MALUF, Rachid Santos; MAGNO, Rui Nelson Otoni; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9017163598972975Organizations seek to adapt daily to the competitive market by adopting development strategies and growth stance to become competitive. Nine mathematical models (theoretical, semi-theoretical and empirical) were used to analyze the drying behavior and effective diffusivity, activation energy and thermodynamic properties were calculated. Dry fibers were evaluated also by thermogravimetric, spectroscopic, and morphological analyses. Diffusion approximation with adjusted coefficient of determination, r2adj ≥ 0.978, reduced chi-square χ2 ≤ 2.21×10-4 and root mean square error RMSE ≤ 0.0140 was the model that better fitted experimental data. The effective diffusion coefficients (𝐷𝑒) increased with temperature, reaching the order of 10-7 m2 s-1. Its dependence on temperature was described by the Arrhenius Equation and its activation energy was 47.61 kJ mol-1. When temperature increases, enthalpy decreases contrarily to entropy and Gibbs free energy, indicating that drying is an endergonic and non-spontaneous process. Characteristic absorption bands of lignocellulosic components were identified (1423, 1327, 1160 cm-1) and the degradation of this material only occurred at temperatures above 190 °C, as confirmed by thermogravimetric analyses. Morphological changes were observed in dry fibers. These mainly occur at 90 °C and led to an irreversible damage of sample structure. Alterations are caused by the tensile strength generated because of temperature and humidity gradient, produced during the drying process.
