Based on field surveys, it was possible to demonstrate that Strategic Information Management, through mapping and ordering the flow of information, enhances the construction of Strategic Intelligence in a Conservation Unit, qualifying decision-making and the production of public policies on the environment. Finally, it was concluded that Information Science has many possibilities to collaborate with the preservation of the environment and sustainability through Information Management, generating efficiency, efficacy and effectiveness of public policies and management actions capable of producing inferences that direct public and private managers to more assertive decisions.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Intersecções entre a Ciência da Informação e a Ciência de Dados: contribuições para os sistemas de informação governamentais(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-01-29) MATOS, Maurício Torres de; CONDURÚ, Marise Teles; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6085807397296909; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4545-4199Studies Governmental Information Systems, considering that its growing use, in confluence with technologies, seeks to meet the current demands for transparency and efficiency of public services, and leads to discussions as to which technologies can be used for this purpose and how Library & Information Science (LIS) can contribute in this context. Thus, the research aims to explore the relationships between LIS and Data Science and their applications in Governmental Information Systems to enable the transformation of data into information, and as specific objectives: a) to understand Information Systems and Governmental Information Systems, relating to the concepts of Open Government and Open Data; b) identify the concept of Data Science and its application in Governmental Information Systems in the context of Library & Information Science; c) to indicate the relationships between Data Science and LIS applied in Governmental Information Systems processes. The research is of a bibliographic nature, of qualitative analysis, with an exploratory study, in order to analyze the multidisciplinary relations between LIS and Data Science, studying aspects of the use of these intersections in Governmental Information Systems. As a result, the research shows that Governmental Information Systems tend to incorporate the use of technologies, including those related to Data Science, in order to meet demands for transparency, accountability, access to information and better government services, with possibilities of correlations between LIS and Data Science in areas such as Open Data, interoperability, Knowledge Management, analytics and Artificial Intelligence. It is concluded that the study and application of these correlations is capable of generate benefits to the operation of Governmental Information Systems, considering the informational competences of LIS as support to the use of technologies, contributing to a greater interaction between government and society to meet the needs informational requirements, thus having the broad possibility of studies on the subject and application opportunities.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Representação da informação do acervo fotográfico do figurino clássico do teatro paraense nas décadas de 1950 e 1960(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-02-28) MIRANDA, Ana Mary Campos de; CONDURÚ, Marise Teles; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6085807397296909; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4545-4199Addresses the recovery of part of the memory of the classical costumes of the Pará theater, with the aim of contributing to the studies of descriptive representation of photographic services of theater costumes. And, for that, delimit them with the following objectives: a) discourse on the context of the organization and representation of information; b) address a descriptive representation of photographic images; c) portray a history of Pará's theater and its costumes; d) to analyze the descriptive representation of the collection of classical costumes in Pará between 1950 and 1960. For this, bibliographic research was carried out, using a qualitative approach of an exploratory nature, with data obtained from different bibliographic resources, in addition to documentary research, in which photographs of paraense theater costumes were analyzed. The results showed that, the constitution of the cataloging of the costume collection of theatrical pieces performed by theater groups from Belém of Pará, will play an important role as a documentary record of performances once performed, regardless of, the role of memory, since, by transforming the theater plays into visual products, it will allow the research, the reconstruction of the plays and costumes, in the most faithful way possible. It is concluded that from this research a concrete possibility was generated for the recovery and cataloging of part of the photographic collections of the costumes of plays staged in the Pará theater of the 50s and 60s.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A representação da informação no domínio da matemática: análise em linguagens documentárias(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-05-30) MARTINS, Kátia Luciane Macêdo; CONDURÚ, Marise Teles; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6085807397296909Analyze the natural language of theses and dissertations of the Program of Education in Science and Mathematics (PPGECM),from Federal University of Pará (UFPA), with the general objective of contribute to the reflection of the use of terminologies and documentary languages for information representation in the domain of mathematical sciences and as specific: to investigate in the literature of the information science on documentary languages and terminology for the representation of the information of the Mathematical Sciences domain; to analyze the occurrence of mathematical sciences subjects represented in the natural language of dissertations and theses of the PPGECM / UFPA, comparing with the SIBI-UFPA catalog and with the Library of Congress Subject Headings, an instrument adopted to represent the information in that system; identify the occurrence of the terms in TESAMAT, a specialized instrument in mathematics, ascertaining the adequacy and compatibility with the documentary language adopted by SIBI-UFPA. For this, a bibliographic and documentary research was conducted, being an exploratory study with qualitative approach. It was divided into four stages: a) bibliography analysis; b) identification of theses and dissertations of the PPGECM, in the period 2013-2017; c) elaboration of an electronic form for data collection;d) analysis of the natural language found and its relationship with the SIBI / UFPA catalog and the documentary languages: Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCSH) and the Mathematical Sciences Thesaurus (TESAMAT). As a result, in the terminological analysis of the theses and dissertations, it was found that the terms assigned in the keywords in the natural language (306) were in greater quantity when compared to the indexed terms, taken from documentary languages (210), which were inserted in SIBI-UFPA. This suggests a possible guideline in the indexing process regarding the degree of specificity, with a low comprehensiveness in the identification of subjects in documentary languages. However, in the search was not found any documents with the indexing policy defined in SIBI-UFPA. On the other hand, it was noticed that the choices of the terms in natural language were, for the most part, identified in the LCSH, which shows that the authors of the theses and dissertations analyzed represent in a significant way their themes, evidencing the knowledge of concepts about the terminology indicated in your area. It was still possible to identify that the heading "Mathematics - Study and teaching" was the one that had greater representativeness in the documents analyzed, what suggests a more general terminological catch on the subject of this research, being found in the LCSH and the TESAMAT. Finally, we conclude by the importance of studies on documentary languages to guarantee the representation of the scope of the document, counting on the praxis of indexation and, with specific instruments for the determination of the subject, particularizing the scientific researches, in order to avoid more than one interpretation in documentary practices.
