Bruno de Menezes and Dancídio Jurandir, two of the most important modernists of Pará, and extremely engaged on social movements, are leading us to this objective. On both author’s books, we find signs of the surviving fights, the concerning about the social well-being, the engagement in left-wing political parties, in movements against the established social order and the conflicts and traumas generated by those experiences.
