Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A ditadura que se perpetua: direitos humanos e a militarização da questão social(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017) CRUZ, Ana Vládia Holanda; MATSUMOTO, Adriana Eiko; MINCHONI, Tatiana; ANDRADE, Soraya Souza deThe present article is a theoretical study about the permanence and spread processes in the social body, regarding the security policies, of the elements that were forged in the long history of our Brazilian territory, from the time of the colonial invasion, emphasizing the contradictions in the military-business dictatorship, and the contradiction between the militarization of the social question and the struggle for the guarantee of human rights today. From the reflections of critical or radical criminology and the analysis of the role of sciences in a materialist-historical and dialectical perspective, this study sought to highlight the processes of construction of the figure of the internal enemy today qualified as “delinquent”, as well as the unfolding of the constitution of processes of criminalization in certain modes of sociability and subjectivities. In this sense, it is understood that psychology, as a science and profession, has the task of positioning itself before the expressions of social inequality, seeking to unveil the historical determinations and the relation with the totality from which emerge such contexts.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A medicalização da educação e da resistência no presente: disciplina, biopolítica e segurança(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-12) LEMOS, Flávia Cristina Silveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8132595498104759; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8132595498104759This article aims at bringing to debate nowaday´s intensive medicalization of existence, especially when it occurs by silencing of resistance by both disciplines and biopolitical and also by the strategies of increasingly refined security. These are used tactically, in a set of institutions that are run by expert specialists in diagnosing social deviations and differences by biomedical rationales, psychologizing and pathologizing of inventive education and political dissent. Our aim in this work is to problematize these everyday social practices and their effects. We also propose to describe and analyze the resistance to these practices. To sustain our argument we have the theoretical support of Michel Foucault and Robert Castel . This study is part of and ongoing research and historical nature through which we intent to contribute to the critique of medicalization of education and political dissent, today, in a society of security.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Quem tem medo do lobo mau? Juventude, agressividade e violência(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009-12) MOREIRA, Ana Cleide Guedes; VILHENA, Junia de; CRUZ, Alexandre Théo de Almeida; NOVAES, Joana de VilhenaThis study discusses the dynamics of aggressiveness and violence, and the role of Brazilian culture regarding its youth. The article is based largely on Freud's concept of violence. Based on Winnicott's theory, we point out the differences between aggressiveness and the anti-social trend that may ultimately result in destructive violence and delinquency. Considering that the "environmental mother" is anchored in culture, we discuss the place given to these young people in our society.
