Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O abastecimento no século XVIII no Grão Pará: Macapá e vilas circunvizinhas(2005-12) RAVENA, NírviaThrough the analysis of supply in villages and Indian settlements from Pará in the colonial period, this article provides evidence of the autonomy and the productivity of the populations placed in the geographic area consisting of the northern region of Amazonia. São José do Macapá and the outskirts villages are considered pioneer areas of the development of the Pombal period politics of colonization, these populations, different from what has been previously interpreted, searched in the local environment for the solution to the problems originated by metropolitan politics. The demands of Indian labour, the seduction by the profits in the goods which composed the role of “drogas do sertão” and the construction of the Fort of São José do Macapá, directed the comsumption of all the efforts and goods in the metropolitan politic to the detriment of the objective presented as motivation for the dislocation of the Portuguese colonists.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Abordagem biocomportamental: síntese da análise do comportamento?(1997) CAVALCANTE, Simone NenoThis papel provides a general discussion of the biobehavioral approach as discussed by Donahoe, Burgos, and Palmer, (1993) and Donahoe and Palmer, 1994). It raises the hypothesis that a synthetic theory on the origin of complex behavior would show how the cumulative effects of relatively simple reinforcement processes lead to the diversity and complexity of human behavior. These authors used computer simulations to generate analogues of complex behavioral phenomena, integrated with neurological processes that have been established through experimental analysis. This integration between behavioral and neuroscientific findings may constitute a synthesis which might claim behavioral complexity as being of its domain.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ação pública socioambiental em questão: desafios da cogestão de uma Resex Marinha na Amazônia brasileira(Universidade Federal da Bahia, 2022) OLIVEIRA, Marcelo do Vale; RIBEIRO, Tânia Guimarães; TEISSERENC, Maria José da Silva AquinoItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ações e percepções de desenvolvimento sustentável na emergência de territórios(2014-12) MENDONÇA, Marluce Ribeiro de; AQUINO, Maria José da Silva; SOUSA, Isabel Soares deIn this article we analyze aspects related to perspectives and participation of actors in processes posed by challenges of social use and conservation of natural resources in protected arcas in the Brazilian Amazon. Under a process of territoriali7ation, there is particularly the implementation of an economic alternative project in Amanã Sustainable Development Reserve, Conservation Unit located at Amazonas state. How they are perceived and how and under what conditions social groups participate — traditional people, researchers and interventionists — informed on the idea of sustainable development, in a context of environmental awareness, make the issue here, the challenge, referring both to the belief as to question the promise of development.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Adesão ao tratamento da urticária crônica(2007-12) FERREIRA, Eleonora Arnaud Pereira; MENDONÇA, Mariana Barreira; LOBÃO, Antonio CarlosThis work presents a case study of a woman who had been addressed to the psychology service, diagnosed with chronic urticaria. This woman's main complaint was that the symptoms were still present even though she was complying the treatment. The purpose was to assist the client to promote the installation of new behaviors and to generalize appropriate behavior patterns, looking for a better urticaria control. Ten sessions were carried out in the hospital, by using the Constructional approach from Behavior Analysis, through the related episode's functional analysis. Results indicated that the triggering and maintenance of the crises had multiple reasons. The contingency-analysis training accomplished during the sessions had promoted a better control of environmental factors. The patient came to comply appropriately with medication use after establishing functional relations between symptoms and environmental stressors. There was a reduction of symptoms and improvement in controlling the disease. This conclusion suggests a better understanding about the relevance of psychotherapeutic accompaniment to the adherence of medical treatment. Patient's reported an improvement in her quality of life.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Adesão ao tratamento do hipotireoidismo congênito segundo relato de cuidadores(2010-04) OLIVEIRA, Fabiana Pereira Sabino de; FERREIRA, Eleonora Arnaud PereiraThis study aims at identifying variables which interfere on the entry into the treatment according to reports of caregivers of children suffering from Congenital Hypothyroidism seen at the Center of Reference in Pará State. Fifty main caregivers, with different degrees of kinship to the children and ranging from 17 to 55 years old, took part in this study. The variables related to the treatment entry were identified by means of interviews with the caregivers following structured pilot instructions. Results showed that most of the caregivers are not aware of the characteristics of the disease, its etiology, diagnosis, treatment and prognostic, regardless the age, school degree, kinship and amount of time the child is on the Program, which makes the treatment entry more difficult. In most children, the Newborn Screening Test was not done in the right time, fact that brought damage to the treatment.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Adesão ao tratamento por cuidadores de crianças e adolescentes soropositivos para o HIV(2011-12) SALLES, Caroline Mota Branco; FERREIRA, Eleonora Arnaud Pereira; SEIDL, Eliane Maria FleuryThis study aimed to investigate the pattern of adherence of caregivers of HIV seropositive children and adolescents and to identify the coping strategies against the stressors of seropositivity. The 30 caregivers that participated in the study responded to a semi-structured interview and a scale of how to cope with problems. A clinical record was used as a secondary data source. The caregivers were classified in an adhesion group (n=25) and non-adhesion group (n=5), based on their behavior related to the use of antiretroviral medicaments and other criteria. No significant differences were found in coping strategies between the groups, except in the strategy based on religiosity/fantasy thinking. The results provide a basis for interventions aimed at reducing psychosocial impacts of HIV.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ajustamento criativo e enfrentamento a subalternidade por mulheres negras e lésbicas(FAE Centro Universitário, 2019-06) PIMENTEL, Adelma do Socorro Gonçalves; CASTRO, Ewerton Helder Bentes deThe objective of this text is to make a theoretical articulation of the Gestalt concept of creative adjustment and the subalternity that affects the self-esteem of black and lesbian women. Creativity is an existential coping strategy that favors the updating of self-understanding and the unveiling of power plays in culture. Subalternity refers to inferiority, dependence, and domination present in the lowest strata of society, constituted by the specific modes of exclusion. Creative adjustment benefits identification with your body, your color, your sexuality; love, and cognitively appreciate your personal worth. Belonging to a family group is the first frontier of social learning of self-recognition; followed by the peer group, work, leisure, etc. Thus affirmation of the identity and mental health of black and lesbian women requires creative, personal and collective strategies of overcoming subalternity.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Algumas interrogações acerca das produções midiáticas sobre a juventude(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-08) FRANCO, Ana Carolina Farias; LEMOS, Flávia Cristina Silveira; FERRERI, Marcelo de Almeida; REIS JÚNIOR, Leandro Passarinho; MACEDO, Adriana Elisa de AlencarThis article discusses the emergence of young and how the media has been cut by forging this disciplinary practices, rooted in the Standards development and how the deviations of the same. The notion of young, idealizes as one who is constituted as a creative, dynamic, rebellious and productive, healthy and a potential consumer of digital Technologies flexible can promote social mobilization of community. We sought to analyze the construction of the Occupational Health Policies in the country, focusing on the formulation of National Policy of Security and Occupational Health (2004), based on Michel Foucault’s method, focused on documentary analysis. In this process, we can observe the conflict between work as a risk and work as production of subjectivity, which leads to the construction of notions of health-control and health-integrality. The creation of lines of care in Occupational Health in health services allows us to place this issue increasingly in the field of public health in Brazil and reduce the dispersion of worker’s cases of suffering, which remain at the level of the unsaid.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Alterações no desempenho ocupacional de pessoas com doença renal crônica em diálise peritoneal(Universidade Federal do Triângulo Mineiro, 2018) MORAES, Alice da Silva; SOUZA, Airle Miranda de; SENA, Teresa Christina da Cruz Bezerra de; FALCÃO, Luiz Fábio Magno; CORRÊA, Victor Augusto CavaleiroThis study aims to evaluate the occupational performance of patients diagnosed with CKD that were undergoing Peritoneal Dialysis. This is a quantitative research with an observational and cross sectional design. Canadian Occupational Performance Measure was applied in 12 patients, and the data collection was performed from June to August 2016. The dimensions of occupational performance such as working, traveling, eating, and house tasks suffered a significant change after the start of the Peritoneal Dialysis treatment. All areas/dimensions observed presented changes and affected the occupations performed. It is necessary to evaluate and accompany the patients and their occupational activities so that better interventions during their care can be carried out.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A Amazônia e a formação do Estado Imperial no Brasil: unidade do território e expansão de domínio(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-06) NUNES, Francivaldo AlvesOur proposal is to analyze the formation of the Amazon region in association with the formation of the Brazilian Empire, based in two questions: the expansion of the structure of domination by the Court of Rio de Janeiro and the unity of the national territory as one of the goals of this expansion. In this paper we propose to show that the Amazonian space is understood by the Brazilian authorities in two ways: as a space necessary to the unity of the Brazilian territory, given the international interest it attracted, and as a way to expand the national interests.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A Amazônia e o desenvolvimento: aspectos da trajetória das políticas públicas na região(Universidad de Salamanca, 2020) SILVA, Maria Dolores Lima daThis article makes an assessment of public development policies that were planned for the Amazon since the 1950s and materialized, especially from the 1970s onwards. Encouraged economic exploitation did not result in a significant increase in the social well-being of the population. As the foundation for this argument, bibliographic studies and research on the websites of public institutions and non-governmental organizations are used. The records of researchers and entities working in the region show that traditional populations suffer from the disruption of their ways of life and that the conflicts generated extend over decades, remaining unsolved.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A Amazônia no século 21: novas formas de desenvolvimento(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-12) LOUREIRO, Violeta RefkalefskyThis paper focuses on the following question: is it viable to think of another form of an alternative development for the brazilian Amazon - in relation to the hegemonic way - under which the region inhabitants and nature are not excessively exploited, nature better conserved and social conflicts reduced? As an answer, the study seeks to analyze the viability of constructing a fairer and more dignified life for all, based on parameters of different developments, and therefore alternatives in relation to the parameters defined and imposed by the hegemonic model currently practiced by the western world, which has demonstrated to be indifferent to the innumerous mistakes and evils that spread along countries and peripheral regions. This is not about denying the existence of a globalization process underway and its impacts, especially those on the peripheral regions; but to believe that despite it, it is possible to concurrently develop positive and very significant changes in favor of the region and its people, as long as there is a mobilization of the many internal forces and the Amazon available resources.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ambiente de moradia e controle primário em idosos(2008) KHOURY, Hilma Tereza Tôrres; GÜNTHER, Isolda de AraújoThe relation between home environment and two modalities of perceived control: primary control (PC) and secondary control (SC), was investigated. PC and SC refer to efforts exerted to: a) adapt the environment to the residents' needs and attainment of goals; b) adapt to the environment. The non-probabilistic quota sample was composed of 315 residents in Brasília-DF, Brazil, (105 male; 210 female), between 60 and 92 years old. Data were collected through interviews at the respondents' households. Results indicated: 1) Inverse correlation between PC and social density of the home environment - DESAM (r = -0.119; p ≤ 0.05); 2) Perceived control was significantly higher among elderly who had their own bedroom (t = 2.21; df = 313; p ≤ 0.05) compared to those who did not have an exclusive bedroom. The results suggest that low DESAM favors PC in this stage of life, when many activities are performed at home, and freedom of action and privacy are very important needs.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise agrossocial da percepção de agricultores familiares sobre sistemas agroflorestais no nordeste do estado do Pará, Brasil(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008-12) HENKEL, KarlIn 2005 a case study was undertaken in agroforestry systems as practiced by family farmers in the Arapuã-Simeira colonization project, municipality of Garrafão do Norte, Pará state, in northern Brazil, with the purpose of describing and systematizing the agrosocial characteristics of the family farmers and their experiences and perceptions of agroforestry systems. The methodology consisted of field research, application of standard questionnaires, observation and discussion in group. Farmers gave preference to some perennial cultures and forest species for intercropping, and the main explication for the introduction of species in their fields was economic gain and social behavior. Multifaceted thinking is seen in the choice of agriculture products and management options, resulting in each property having a combination of different agricultural systems that are adapted to local conditions. The farmer knows better than anyone else how to determine the ideal combination for his agricultural system. The study shows the agrosocial and socialcultural trajectory of the farmers and hypothesis are advanced on what would imply the adoption of agroforestry systems in family agriculture. A systemic approach can be very useful in understanding the relationships and social processes that are important aspects of the rural and agrarian question.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise da não resposta em surveys políticos(2012-06) HENKEL, KarlThis article focuses on the social structure of the interviewed that practiced nonresponse item in a survey on political issues. For this was carried out a survey with 2.010 young voters of public schools in Belém (PA). The share of non response increase with the change of one lifecycle to another one or with the proper experience gained by the effects of the public politics, what leaves the interviewed in doubt in relation to the values and opinions established.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Uma análise do acontecimento "crianças e jovens em risco"(2014-04) LEMOS, Flávia Cristina Silveira; SCHEINVAR, Estela; NASCIMENTO, Maria Lívia doThis article discusses the risk event, from a historical and political perspective. It presents an overview of the debate on this analytical category, denaturalizing it. In the second part of the text, we seek to weave a description of how the risk event came on the scene in the policy of protection of children and young people as a strategic means of social protection and prevention. Then, it analyzes how risk management is materialized in the practices of the guardianship council members in Brazil, following the approval of the Statute of Children and Adolescents. The guardianship council becomes a central board of management of deviations in behalf of full protection. We conclude that managing risks involves governing behaviors out of the logic of a safety society.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise estratégica do processo de formulação da PM&A-SUS: lições aprendidas e desafios(Centro Brasileiro de Estudos de Saúde, 2017-03) CAMPELO, Luiz Marques; SANTOS, Elizabeth Moreira dos; OLIVEIRA, Paulo de Tarso Ribeiro deThis article presents the Strategic Analysis (AE) of the formulation process of SUS National Policy on Monitoring and Evaluation (PNM&A-SUS). The study employed a qualitative document analysis and literature review, accounting for the three dimensions of AE: relevance of the problem (needed institutional policy); proposed objectives and mobilized partnerships. The analysis showed a discontinuous formulation process with relevant controversies regarding evaluation purposes, assumptions, responsibilities and expected competencies among stakeholders. The interrupted formulation process needs to be recommenced, as for the lessons learned and the realistic context assessment.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise faciológica e estratigráfica da planície costeira de Soure (margem leste da ilha de Marajó-PA), no trecho compreendido entre o canal do Cajuúna e o estuário Paracauari(Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazônia, 2007-06) FRANÇA, Carmena Ferreira de; SOUZA FILHO, Pedro Walfir Martins e; EL-ROBRINI, MaâmarSoures's coastal plain, eastern Marajó island (Pará), is formed by muddy and sandy deposits, low gradient areas submitted to tidal and wave processes. The morphological features are tidal flats, estuaries, tidal channels and barrier-beach ridges . The faciological and stratigraphical analysis of six vibra-core with medium deph of four meters and from outcrops allowed a caracterization of depositional environments, temporal sequence and spacial corelation, the elaboration of stratigraphical seccions and column. Were identified five facies associations: (1) tidal flat facies, (2) mangrove facies, (3) tidal channel bar facies, (4) beach facies and (5) dune facies. The sedimentary history of the Soure coastal plain is represented by two stratigraphical successions: (1) progradational succession (tidal flat, mangrove and channel bar facies association) and (2) retrogradational succession (beach and dune facies association). These successions are related to a expansion phase of tidal flats and mangroves with progradation of the coastline (Middle/Late Holocene) and a posterior retrogradation phase with landward migration of the shoreline (Late Holocene). The depositional history of the Soure coastal plain is related to the holocenic evolution model of the northeast coastal plains of Pará.
