Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Arquitetura pública moderna uma caracterização sobre tipologia e lugar na cidade de Belém(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-08-21) CARVALHO, Bárbara Moraes de; PONT VIDAL, Celma de Nazaré Chaves de Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0782346426511704The modern public architecture produced in the city of Belem has scarses studies that explore this object while architectural expression. This fact contributes to the low value of this architecture, by the reading population and even the technicians who unaware of the many faces of this architecture in the state capital. In order to perform an analysis that characterizes deeper, this study tried to point out how this architecture incorporated the architectural discourse developed in other capitals and produced an architecture that although authentic, constitutes one of the earliest existing interpretations about modern Brazilian architecture. This note was possible from an analysis performed according to two variables: the architectural typology and place. In typological analysis become clear analogies made in architectural design, the relationship between program needs and sectorization, and show how the modern structure evolved and was adapted. The analysis about the place was featured dialogue of architectural object with its immediate surroundings in two time frames: the first in its time of conception, whose relationship to the physical space that surrounds and method of implantation site often brought in references to other modern designs, and in contemporary times, where the relationship between architecture and environment is re-signified by the changes occurring in this space. The characterization of public architecture modern produced in Belem while architectural expression constitutes an important study not only for the local architecture, but for the understanding of the context on the diffusion of modern Brazilian architecture public.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Arquitetura residencial eclética em Belém do Pará (1870-1912): Um estudo da gramática das fachadas(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-08-30) FARIA, Maria Beatriz Maneschy; MIRANDA, Cybelle Salvador; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3254198738703536In this research we studied the compositional grammar from the facade of the eclectic residential architecture of Belem, on the formal aspects of its elements, through relations of symmetry, rhythm, proportions, layout, dimensions and use of colors in each of its parts. The study is restricted to the type of residential basement and a deck in specimens without definite authorship. The research also considers the importance of facades in construction of collective identity, based on a sense of belonging in the community. Therefore, using the ethnographic method in the apprehension of memory, since the interventions historic preservation often disregards the need to address the conflict between the old (original stylistic features of the building) and the new (current needs or preferences ), an old dilemma between permanence and change. To conduct the analysis, we created three categories of facades: pure classicist facades, classical facades with eclectic elements and eclectic facades. By considering the facade classicist pure source eclectic facade, it was preferred to the polychromatic geometric and analyzes a) Comparative analysis over time of iconographic images of the search, b) compositional analysis of the relationships proportions, dimensions and arrangements of façade elements based on proportionality golden c) Visual observation of chromatic patterns found from prospecting pictorial. From this study it was possible to say that the pure classicist facades have a limited vocabulary in the composition of its grammar, with well defined rules, but the projects in its origin, do not obey the compositional principles learned, which leads us to conclude that based on imitation of other works, possibly without relying on the guidance of professional architecture. As the ratio of chromatic ranges between the various elements of the composition of their facades, we identify the existence of a principle chromatic. We believe that the model is not found chromatic complex and not contrasts, but nuances of tone, used with meanings. This study contributes to the understanding of the eclectic civil architecture of Belem.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Casas nobres em Belém do Pará segunda metade do século XVIII e início do século XIX(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-08-30) MORGADO NETO, José Marques; MARQUES, Fernando Luiz Tavares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0365104813041022This paper investigates the Noble Houses built in Belém in the second half of the eighteenth and early nineteenth century, identified, selected and analyzed based on literature, documentary and iconographic research. The historic city center of the city mentioned is used as a spatial area where the neighborhoods of Cidade Velha and Campina are inserted. They correspond to the primitive nuclei which shaped the urban space of Belém, former headquarters of the Province and State of Grão-Pará during the Administrative Model Colony in Portuguese America. Knowledge about the type of residential building Noble Houses and subsequent identification of specimens in the center of Belém is to reveal their occurrence in the Amazonian soil in a social, economic and political context specific to the Portuguese Ancient Regime. Three buildings were selected as case study: 1) Solar do Barão de Guajará, 2) the Casa Rosada, 3) and the House of Eleven Windows. At first, the genealogy in the Noble Portuguese House was searched, with an understanding of the symbolic values and semantic variations related to their morphology, as well as the knowledge of its architecture. Subsequently, we investigated the residential architecture of the Aristocracy in the Brazilian colonial settings, systematizing the main features from principles found in Portuguese genesis. Finally, the three selected Noble Houses were analyzed, guided by the knowledge of initial studies of its Portuguese and Luso-Brazilian congeners, establishing analogies among them and recognizing local specificities. The result of this research provides a knowledge basis for a specific genre of residential construction, the Noble House, which enables the identification of other specimens in Belém, and in other locations in the state of Pará, in urban or rural areas, making it also possible more informed interventions when these are necessary for its preservation, for we must know what we restore.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Desempenho termoenergético da utilização de telhado vegetal em edificação no clima amazônico(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-03-19) MARINHO, Dircirene Tavares; FRANCO, Irving Montanar; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4254203203850909; TOSTES, Maria Emília de Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4197618044519148The thermoenergetic performance of all construction work stems from the decisionmaking of the initial phase, and the thermo-physical characteristics of the materials used must be considered. The thermo-physical phenomenon of inertia in the roof vegetable offers resistance to the transport of thermic charge to inside the edification, reducing the demand of the electric energy needed to its climatic conditioning. At the same time, the low albedo of the roof vegetable contributes to mitigate the effects of the heat islands in urban environments. The bioclimatic and microclimatic study needed will determine the choice of the suitable construction materials, especially regarding the protection of surfaces exposed to solar heat load. This work deals with the experimental verification of the thermoenergetic performance of a room covered with grass in a place where the vegetation is predominant, in the Guamá Science and Technology Park, Federal University of Pará Campus. The key objective was to examine the thermal response of the slab by proving mitigation of heat spikes by physical phenomenon of thermal inertia, implying favorable results of energy performance by reducing the use of active cooling. It was performed preliminary characterization of the indoor and outdoor microclimate through the obtained values of temperature and relative humidity of air, and observed the evolution of internal environmental conditions in two phases, with the slab discovered and after application of vegetation. The quantitative results showed favorable performance of the roof vegetation in the moderation of heat flow through the slab, contributing to the reduction of the temperature of indoor air and consequent energy efficiency in buildings in Amazonian climate.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Do Largo de Nazaré à Praça Santuário: as transformações entre 1982 e 2015(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-03-31) OLIVEIRA, Jeová Barros de; PONT VIDAL, Celma de Nazaré Chaves de Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0782346426511704This work is the result of studies of the transformations occurred in the old Largo de Nazareth and its surroundings, as long as it was still a small habitation site of Placido family man who found an image of Our Lady of Nazareth in 1700 in the city Belém, Pará 's capital, a city in the Amazon, northern Brazil . The Nazareth Shrine belongs to the range of Marian Shrines around the world, however, was nonexistent a Master research on the site where it was built, showing the architecture implemented on site. The Nazareth Largo meets every year, two million people participating in the Feast of the Cirio and the research sheds light on the evolution of the architectural process that formed the place. He sought to answer the gaps on the architecture developed in Nazareth from the first hut to the transformation of the Square "Just Chermont" in a Sanctuary Square, through historical events that favored the appearance of the place and its final adaptation as sacred space to the Catholic religion. The survey gathered Nazareth Parish publications, Archdiocese of Bethlehem, Barnabites Fathers, Public Archives and Official Sites justifying the bibliography, documentary consultations, visits, questionnaires and new photographic records of the subject matter.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O espaço periurbano de Belém (PA) entre transformações, resistências e re-existências(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-03-28) VICENTE, Letícia Ribeiro; CARDOSO, Ana Cláudia DuarteIt is understood that the peri-urban spaces of cities in the Amazon are today border spaces, where it is possible to perceive disputes and coexistences between different productive activities and different ways of life, which have undergone rapid transformations in recent decades. Areas of urban expansion, enterprises and industrial facilities coexist with areas understood as traditional, occupied by riverside communities, indigenous and quilombola communities. On the one hand, we can see the movement of transformations (arrival of the new/modern, disarticulations), and, on the other hand, resistance (maintenance of the old/traditional, search for the maintenance of ways of life linked to nature). At first sight these movements function as opposites, or as double negation, thesis and antithesis. But there are also syntheses, which are manifestations of the culmination of several re-existences, in which apparent dichotomies coexist and the possibilities of possible paths for the Amazon reside. To understand the transformations and local resistance, the stages of urbanization (spatial-time) presented by Lefebvre (1999) were used, divided into rural, urban-industrial and urban-utopia eras. From a dialectical perspective, the rural era works as a thesis. This era is present today through manifestations understood in this dissertation as resistances. As an antithesis, the second stage of urbanization, the urban-industrial era, is understood here as transformations. As a synthesis, the era of urban-utopia is presented as a possibility to glimpse what was called re-existence. In an attempt to contemplate a little of the regional diversity, the object of study of this dissertation is built around the peri-urban space of Belém (PA), a city (and municipality) that works as a significant example for historically playing the role of an Amazon metropolis. To this end, the peri-urban space of Belém (PA) was analyzed considering the transformations and resistances that permeate its socio-spatial production throughout history, as well as the contemporary re-existences that demonstrate the potential for emancipation and strengthening of communities that depend on of nature management. The discussion about peri-urban spaces in different contexts was presented, bringing it closer to that of Amazonian cities. In the analysis of the peri-urban space of Belém (PA), it was concluded that historically this space was constituted as a regional extended peri-urban space, since Belém had great political and economic centrality, which made it possible to articulate and interact directly with several places within the Amazon. It is considered, however, that from the second half of the 20th century onwards, several national and international processes diminished the centrality of Belém and its ability to exert influence regionally. It was noted at the local scale that the availability of land in the peri-urban space of Belém makes the peripheral, the expansion area and the communities that depend on the management of nature mix. Through some selected case studies, the re-existences that permeate the socio-spatial production of the peri-urban space of Belém were also investigated and analyzed. The re-existences made it possible to visualize that the constitution of the peri-urban space of Belém is, on the one hand, directly linked to economic, political and cultural impositions from distant places, and at the same time, it presents an enormous potential for the emancipation of local communities, which emerges from the alliance between culture, nature, and social justice. It also points out the recognition of otherness as a path to the era of urban-utopia.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Estudo antropométrico do idoso da amazônia para fins projetuais(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-09-19) PEDROSO, Ana Cristina Pacha de Carvalho; PERDIGÃO, Ana Klaudia de Almeida Viana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9009878908080486There are investigated measures of upper limb reach from elderly Amazon for aims of conception of the architectural design that contribute to the knowledge of man’s specific anthropometric Amazon. The research develops in three stages considering anthropometry static, dynamic anthropometry and evaluation of normative NBR 9050 with seniors 60 years or older. The anthropometric measurements of static nature were taken by direct method with objective measures while the dynamic nature, were taken by indirect method with objective measures and filming of reaching movements. The obtained data were compared with those from other regions of Brazil. Finally, evaluate measures of Amazon regarding the technical parameters of the upper limbs reach that can subsidize the architectural design to contribute to discussion of the legislation in force. Brazil experience a major demographic shift related to the aging of its population age structure, with significant presence of persons aged 60 or more, for whom scientific knowledge needs new answers. The hypothesis that the measures for manuals reach predicted in the NBR 9050 are not suitable for the elderly Amazon is confirmed to reach on foot and not confirmed to reach sitting.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Estudos de tipologias habitacionais amazônicas com análise ambiental para fins projetuais(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-04-01) SAMPAIO, Trycia Guerreiro; FRANCO, Irving Montanar; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4254203203850909; PERDIGÃO, Ana Klaudia de Almeida Viana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9009878908080486The objective is to study the housing typologies Amazon through an integrated view between the physical and environmental conditions and thermal sensation of users. The housing typologies selected refer to spaces spontaneously produced in areas, continental and insular, in Belém (PA), and also the spaces formally produced in urban resettlement area, a Vila da Barca. The environmental assessment favors the proposed solution and research experience in spatial typologies culturally constructed to support proposals for social housing in the Amazon environment, despite the appreciation of human and environmental effects of housing assistance. The strategy adopted includes qualitative and quantitative methods. Uses consultation tools applied to residents of the dwelling and also studied the use of computational tools, the EnergyPlus. The results indicate environmental conditions and well-being perceived by residents in the face of conflicting local weather conditions, because despite the high temperatures present data with over 60% of annual hours outside the comfort conditions, the questionnaire responses were obtained with the locals positive in relation to the same as satisfaction with living conditions, especially the residents of housing typologies located in the island municipality of Bethlehem.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Hospital Universitário João de Barros Barreto: a significação cultural da arquitetura hospitalar moderna em Belém(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-11-10) LEAL, Larissa Silva; MIRANDA, Cybelle Salvador; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3254198738703536; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5913-989XThe cultural significance points to a valuation given by man, which encompasses several aspects, such as historical, social, aesthetic, architectural and even spiritual, thus making the human being the creative center of all significations. As an example of the historical building that houses the current João de Barros Barreto Hospital, we try to gather the multiple functional dimensions and the meanings connected to the architecture in order to characterize it as a form of assistance patrimony. The six-story monoblock building was built between 1938 and 1959, showing the influence of modern architecture precepts in the way of building public buildings in Brazil, translated mainly in the architectural detailing, such as the use of brise-soleils and cobogos in the rectilinear façades. In this context, the way the hospital's social agents create, register and propagate meanings is apprehended and interpreted through the ethnographic method, whose attribution also addresses the memories that permeate the former Barros Barreto Sanatorium, as well as demonstrates the articulation between architectural space and the relationships developed in it. Thus, the evidence of the importance of the perceptions of the social, historical and cultural contexts point to the process of patrimoniality, from the point of view of social agents, corroborating to demonstrate the importance of the recognition of a heritage based on lived experiences, narratives, affective relationships, in addition to history, which characterize its existence and, in the case of HUJBB, the resistance in face of the transformations given in the name of a modernization of the hospital space.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Igreja de Santana do Bujaru caracterização tipológica, histórica e estilística a partir de suas referências documentais, físicas e icônicas(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-04-03) NASCIMENTO, Claudia Helena Campos; MARQUES, Fernando Luiz Tavares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0365104813041022This study aimed to characterize and understand the architectural object at physical, historical and visual aspects, by documents, reports and especially from the architectural object itself. Based on the material object - architectural - and the cultural object - social heritage and history - were used methodological approaches physics research (surveys, photographic records, material and technical analysis), history (documentary and iconographic) and ethnography as a means to understand relations of the church of Santana do Bujaru (Bujaru/PA) with the site and region, and the importance of the building to the community, identifying the relationship of belonging and ownership over time, that characterize its importance as a cultural heritage.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Impacto da morfologia no desempenho térmico das parcelas urbanas em clima equatorial na cidade de Belém(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-04-11) PINHEIRO, Dorival Freitas; CARDOSO, Ana Cláudia Duarte; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3138101153535395; FRANCO, Irving Montanar; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4254203203850909The objective of this study is to analyze the impact generated by models of occupation of urban spaces in installments, according to its own characteristics of the variables present in the urban microclimate inherent Neighborhoods Old Town and Umarizal Demonstrate in Belém, from the standard methodology developed, an approximation of the effects of thermal exchanges within the urban portions with their different typologies found, which will allow, besides understanding more approximate of the resulting phenomena of the climatic interaction with the specific typologies, to evidence more appropriate town planning strategies to thermal performance. To demonstrate the effects of these urban parameters and their influence on the quality of the microclimate, were used as strategies for data acquisition, image capture IFR (IR) surface, angled shots with a fisheye lens, record temperatures globe, dry and humid bulb, sun air, field survey of the buildings, together with the technical analysis of energy balance factor Sky View, Built Mass and Cut Heat Load. The Old Town district is inserted in origin of formation of the town and within its context morphological Volumetric has characteristics that in his time been regarded as solutions to climate adaptation, making it conducive to the development of thermal studies. Already Umarizal neighborhood, which is part of the expansion area of the city center, has a characteristic morphological marked a process of increasing vertical integration, especially in the last decade, and with it, has been constituted in the district with the highest profile change and constructive densification of recent years, which defines it as a key to this investigation. Based on some previous studies and looking to add new analysis parameters and concepts, we defined the use of techniques for analyzing of the energy balance and the thermal exchanges urban able to identify, conceptually, the ability to build thermal load and indicate ways implement procedures for analysis of thermal performance of urban fractions. Methodological criteria developed from the investigation of the effects arising from the relationship between local climatological patterns and urban standards of occupancy can be good use, generate urban parameters that enable the occupation of cities not only in their environmental issues in its overall efficiency, pointing to solutions to planners and urban managers to equip a record of the capacity to "load" these determined territories.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Investigação projetual em habitação social: o caso “Vila da Barca” (Belém-PA)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-03-26) SILVA, Mônica Nazaré Espírito Santo da; PERDIGÃO, Ana Klaudia de Almeida Viana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9009878908080486It’s been investigated spatial solutions in the production of housing in the urban context, adopting as a study case the area of Vila da Barca in Belém-PA to spatial patterns of spontaneous production and the formal production of housing in the area. The strategy defines the investigation of configurational parameters of the geometric nature of architectural space in recurrent spontaneous production of housing observed in the design of the floor plan for comparison between the types of housing as stilt-type, townhouse of formal production by the existence of the "Conflict Architectural" the solutions adopted for the analysis of three aspects: transitional spaces between the house and the street, the shape and size of the living spaces and housing internal distribution by the study of movement, the latter supplemented with topological analysis using maps generated by the Program Dephtmap. The results show the architectural conflict between spontaneous and formal production of housing, confirming the stilt-type as an important reference in the experience of the riverside residents without remains, however, as a reference in terms of formal production of housing in architectural designItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Modernização e transformações recentes nos processos intra-urbanos no sudeste do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-02-05) MELO, Ana Carolina Campos de; CARDOSO, Ana Cláudia Duarte; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3138101153535395Since 2006, the southeastern Pará has seen great changes in the intra-urban space, led by the private sector, with the participation of various fractions of capital (agricultural, commercial, real estate, financial). Developers, builders, land owners, retail chains and agribusiness investors, supported by the State produced new and modern developments in a previously unprecedented scale in the region. These changes showed the city space, the arrival of recent modernization processes in line with global capitalist dynamic and, at the other end, the grievance of intra-urban inequalities as they are introduced these new processes. It is observed in that context, an increasingly marked subordination of architectural and urban forms to the imperatives of capitalist enterprise, changing, so the sense of architecture and therefore the role of the architect himself, progressively farther from possibility of alliance with the recipients. In the wake of these events, this paper discusses the recent changes in the intra-urban area in southeastern Pará, particularly observed in the cities of Marabá and Parauapebas, and how this scenario articulates the processes that follow global trends, assumed as local manifestations of the contradictions of capitalist expansion of the city.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Mosaicos de Belém: história e conservação(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-08-30) TOSCANO, Thais Zumero; SANJAD, Thais Alessandra Bastos Caminha; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8950586647715771The mosaic is an ancient art which impacts the history of civilizations. The city of Belém po-sesses a beautiful, peculiar and rare acquis. For being so uncommon, it is not regarded as an autonomous or as well integrated art. This fact becomes visible due to the lack of biblio-graphical data and registries on the theme. This research aims to demonstrate such facts by means of a historical contextualization and a literature review that covers techniques, con-servation, common damages and frequent pathological conditions. The main focus of this study is the mosaic collection of the city of Belém /Pará. It identifies techniques, typologies, datings, physical constitutive characteristics of the employed materials. Materials and me-thods are presented starting from the samples selected. After the analysis of these samples with their features and physical chracateristics by optic microscopy the study comes to its final part, the conclusions based on the necessary preservation of this cultural asset which integrates the memory of the city.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A mulher e a cultura arquitetônica na modernização de Belém: discursos e práticas entre 1950-1970(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-11-11) LIMA, Izabelle Karoline Machado; VIDAL, Celma de Nazaré Chaves de Souza Pont; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0782346426511704; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3437-3844Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O palácio dos governadores sob anacronias e traduções: percepções etnovisuais e vivências no antigo Palácio de Landi restaurado por la Rocque(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-08-27) SILVA, Vithória Carvalho da; MIRANDA, Cybelle Salvador; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3254198738703536; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5913-989XThe dissertation comprises studies on the Palácio dos Governadores, in Belém do Pará, from the analysis of the monument in 250 years of history, as well as its current relevance to the society of Pará. Thus, the analysis is segmented into three main periods to be addressed: the legacy of its architect creator Antônio José Landi in the construction of the Palace, in 1771, as Residence and Governmental Office; the restoration intervention operated by Roberto de La Rocque Soares in 1972 with the aim of recovering part of the original essence of the work; and the effects of such actions in contemporaneity, given that the space currently houses the Museum of the State of Pará (MEP), with fixed and temporary exhibitions, which shows not only art and architecture, but the history of Pará manifested in its ambience, receiving daily visitors experiencing the monument. About this, the argument is built from two main questions, which discuss how the translation of Landi by La Rocque was made during the restoration, and how this translation is perceived by the public that currently visits the Palace. For this, the ethnographic method together with the anachronistic review of the Palace's historiography served as a guide for the development of the research, pointing out ethnovisual perceptions from the author's view to that of the museum's visiting public, as well as producing new debates on the relevance of La Rocque as translator of Landi's original work during the restoration.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Quando o olhar abraça: um flâneur experienciando as ambiencias do comércio informal de Belém do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-07-01) SOUZA, Everton Ronniery Tavares; SILVA, Luiz de Jesus Dias da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1834457786441101; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9037-5081The existing dynamics in the urban space results from diversified historical, social and economic transformations, which are intertwined with informality. In this sense, it was not only the affective relationships and social proximity that had abrupt changes over time, but a whole commercial and social collective that induced such dynamics. This research aims, then, to reflect about the informal work more traditionally known, from the concepts of perception and subjectivity, in one of the main corridors of popular commerce in the city of Belém: Conselheiro João Alfredo and Santo Antônio Streets. Based on this essence, the research presents a historical evolutionary line, highlighting the origins of informal commerce, as well as presenting ethnographic and perceptive incursions regarding the built environment, the informal work protagonist and his reality, culminating with reflections about the meaning that informality has for the city, accompanied by the sensitive map of the lived ambiences.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Referências ao projeto de arquitetura pelo tipo palafita amazônico na Vila da Barca (BELÉM – PA)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-09-30) MENEZES, Tainá Marçal dos Santos; PERDIGÃO, Ana Klaudia de Almeida Viana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9009878908080486A study carried out in an area of government policy for housing resettlement called Vila da Barca, in Belém-PA, is presented. The research relates theory and practice of architecture in the building design scope by means of analytical categories of topological nature, described and characterized by the amazon stilt house type, in order to highlight the importance of the act of designing social housing by the meaning of the Amazonian tradition. The incorporation of the type as a starting point for designing and as part of a systemic design process is discussed. The methodological strategy adopted focuses on the relationship between physical space and experience of dwellers evaluated in the context of informal production of housing in the Vila da Barca community and of formal production of housing in government action Vila da Barca's Project. The results found in the area of informal production of housing revealed the strong identification of the dwellers with the elements of topological basis of amazon stilt house type, which demonstrates the significance of the spatial relationships investigated referring to the tradition of dwelling riverside in Amazon. The same relationship was observed in housing units of the Vila da Barca Project that have been modified by dwellers throughout their process of adaptation to the resettlement housing. It is concluded that the discussion of systemic design process with theoretical support of cybernetics, has in the type an important indicator of architectural quality.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Residências Art Déco no bairro do Reduto em Belém-PA: entre a modernização e o tradicionalismo (1930-1950)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-11-09) GOMES, Lúcio Mozart Oliveira; VIDAL, Celma de Nazaré Chaves de Souza Pont; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0782346426511704; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3437-3844The diffusion of art deco architecture, from the 1920s onwards, as an architecture that represents the development of industrial society is accepted in much of the western world by various groups and social classes as a possible path to modernization, however it is still an architecture which has strong links with the historicist past of the 19th century. Its interlocution with industrial and manufacturing activities is evident as these productive organizations gain strength. In Belém, the advance of a productive system aimed at the factory economy from the second quarter of the 20th century onwards made the style, more consistent with this type of production, increasingly present in the neighborhood of Reduto, where , in the first half of the 20th century, a large number of factories and commercial enterprises were concentrated, contributing to the intensification of deco architecture in the neighborhood. Conceiving the relationship between art deco architecture and industrial development, this research seeks to study the characteristics, whether modern or traditional, of the art deco culture expressed in homes in the neighborhood of Reduto, in Belém, between the 1930s and 1950s through the typological series developed by the architect Marina Waisman (1972).Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Rua Dr. Assis: uma incursão pela paisagem patrimonial transfigurada da Cidade Velha, Belém do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-03-19) TUTYIA, Dinah Reiko; MIRANDA, Cybelle Salvador; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3254198738703536This research investigate Dr. Assis street landscape transformation – located in Cidade Velha neighborhood of Belém – based on rereading of buildings its classified as "renewal" by the Law 7.709 of 1994. This law is responsible for Belém’s protection and preservation Historic, Artistic, Environmental and Cultural Heritage. The “renewal” category fits the properties with no interest of preservation, which can be replaced by new ones. Thus these lots in the historic center, “opens custody” to the dynamics of transformation, a city's intrinsic characteristic. The transfigured landscape which escapes from the “cultural heritage aesthetic” consolidates a new “Cidade Velha” – Belém’s genesis district – which along with Campina are the city’s Historic Center. Based on street ethnography method, an incursion is made into this landscape, which keeps in its, the building’s materiality and in the memories of the local residents and traders, the transformer process of the protected urban fabric. Thus, the space (re) cognition, aims to bring out the material-immaterial relation, eclipsed by the legislation category of 1994.
