Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise do desempenho energético de edificações: aplicação analítica do RTQ-C no Edifício do Ceamazon(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-03-27) OLIVEIRA, Bruno Gabriel Freitas; FRANCO, Irving Montanar; TOSTES, Maria Emília de Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4197618044519148; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4254203203850909One major barrier to economic development is the growing global demand for energy and the consequent increase in the use of natural resources to provide it. Developing countries such as Brazil, showed progressive energy consumption per capita in recent years. Although the majority is from hydroelectric plants (non-polluting sources) its construction causes great environmental impact. Percentage of all energy generated, buildings are responsible for the consumption of approximately 40 % and this percentage is likely to increase by the growth of the construction industry in the country. Regarding the problem, the fight against waste, streamlining and sustainable use of energy consumed by buildings are directly linked to the reduction of environmental impact, delaying the need for increased national energy matrix. In this context is created the Technical Regulation of Quality Level Energy Efficiency Commercial Buildings, and Public Service (RTQ - C). This work consists of a critical application of the RTQ - C using a prescriptive methodology, with the focus aspects of their applicability and evaluation of thermal comfort and luminal, with the premise that the high energy performance of the building is fully achieved only when conditions are guaranteed satisfactory environmental comfort to users. Therefore it was necessary to step thorough data collection and measurements "in situ" of air temperature, radiant temperature, illuminance and relative humidity in two rooms (laboratory of comfort and classroom 2) building the Center of Excellence in Efficiency energy from Amazon - CEAMAZON subsidizing the use of the methodology proposed by Fanger (PMV and PPD), and verification of illuminance levels proposed by NBR 5413. As a result the building showed good performance, but the lack of compliance prerequisites rated with "C" level. A comfort evaluation indicated that approximately 23% of users have had on thermal comfort and the natural ventilation can be used as a strategy to climatic adaptation. Illuminance measurements indicated that only the classroom 2 possessed potential use of natural lighting during the measurement. It was concluded that, despite its importance, the RTQ - C must still pass through a process of adaptation by society and professionals involved in the energy certification of buildings and that during this period changes may be incorporated contributing to make it a effectively valid instrument for ensuring the energy efficiency of buildings in the country.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Uma análise etnográfica na memória e cotidiano na Avenida Governador Magalhães Barata- Belém/Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-03-31) BAHIA, Carmosina Maria Calliari; MIRANDA, Cybelle Salvador; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3254198738703536This research aims to analyze the memory and daily life at Magalhães Barata Avenue, using the method of Street Ethnography, used as a resource for the preservation of the cultural heritage of the area. This proposal is based on the experience of the researcher and architect of the Goeldi Museum, for over 30 years, which aroused looking at the changes in the former Independence Avenue architecture in this time interval. The choice of the ethnographic method provided a qualitative and closest approach of the avenue residents‘, allowing us to an analysis of the interactions, the memory of the residents, the daily lives of passersby, traditional activities of formal and non-formal working, from the first decades of the XX century. During the immersions in the avenue, we use the interviews to record the historical and affective memory of the passerby, who works and who lives on the avenue, as well as we use the photographic record as a way of highlighting the transformations in the architecture. In response to the guiding research question "How to preserve the architectural diversity of the Avenue, considering the changes that have occurred and the social dynamics of the place?" We conclude that the knowledge gained from the incursions in the field will allow the appreciation of the cultural heritage found in the stretch where a marked change in the customs and local ambience is visible. Through actions adapted by cultural institutions located in the Avenue, we can make the daily activities of the streets, where the human relationships are found, work and friendship ones, as well as routine activities that have the testimony of personal and social events. This is the rescue of cultural memory, an important factor for preservation of the identity of the place.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise urbanístico-ambiental: condomínios fechados horizontais “Ecológicos” da Região Metropolitana de Belém(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-11-10) SILVA, Marta Gonçalves Tavares da; PONTE, Juliano Pamplona Ximenes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9287377245887247; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7668-8409This dissertation starts from the concern to investigate whether the housing typological structure, called Horizontal Closed Condominiums present in the Hydrographic Basins of the Metropolitan Region of Belém, present themselves as a solution for an ecological urban settlement. It is a housing typological structure that,in order to provide regulation as a settlement, promotes legislative cuts and finds connivance and prerogatives on the part of the public power that approves it. The Ecological Horizontal Closed Condominiums use the philosophical ideals of naturalism, creating a real estate product disseminated as a preservationist urban settlement, active in the production of urban space. Promotionally, they are place names with a commercial purpose of an ecological product boasting a tamed, reserved and exclusive nature. The objective is, therefore, to analyze theperformance and the form of occupation of the Ecological Horizontal Closed Condominiums in the scale of the Hydrographic Basins of the Metropolitan Region of Belém, specifically in BH Ariri and BH Benfica, if in fact they present urban performance - environmental, being able to be classified as ecological structures, since they are offered as an urban typology that is intended to have less environmental impact. Considering the typology of the Ecological Horizontal Closed Condominiums, this dissertation has the contribution in the method of the comprehensive approach in the field of Landscape Architecture, proposing to use the rationalization of the environmental dynamics and the urban occupation, culminating with the study of the functionality of the Hydrographic Basin - fundamental for ecological analysis - guided by urban and environmental parameters observed through aspects of vegetation cover, permeability - greater relevance to environmental performance - capillarity and morphological studies regarding the design of the urban mesh / road system, complemented with the base of social data, population density, income, and the presence of subnormal agglomerations in the Hydrographic Basins. The spatial arrangement of this housing is nothing more than a marketing real estate product with a preservationist philosophical content of very low permeability, they are structures that, in addition to ignoring the environmental aspect, are configured as propellers to the increase of impermeable surfaces, determining unsatisfactory socio environmental consequences, enhancing the environmental risk to the population present in the Hydrographic Basins. In view ofthe empty specificities that constitute this housing product -, freely established in the urban territory, directed only by housing zoning -, they are authorized to be called urban aberrations implanted in the territory, refuting aspects of ecological settlement and, therefore, establishing themselves with an environmental hoax.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Arborização urbana em Belém: diálogo entre tempos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-04-02) GAMA NETO, Oswaldo; BRASIL, Heliana Maria Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1424779683217427; PONT VIDAL, Celma de Nazaré Chaves de Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0782346426511704Study in this paper two proposed urban forestry to Belém in two distinct periods: the management of Antonio Lemos (1897 to 1911) and the management of SEMMA (2003 to present), institution responsible for city trees. Presuppose that in the past there are elements for justifying the actions of the present and from this, to review the subject matter of the research, is used as an approximation method of the Comparative Case Study and Systems Theory. This dissertation use is made of three research variables: laws and regulations, meaning in the urban context and species selection. From the survey data on the variables and the two periods, it appears that the changes occurring in the city and the need to adapt to new conditions afforestation and urban facilities are justifications for the current loss of trees from the paraense capital.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Argamassas para dessalinização de alvenaria mista de edifício histórico de Belém(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-09-05) LOUREIRO, Alexandre Máximo Silva; SANJAD, Thais Alessandra Bastos Caminha; ANGÉLICA, Rômulo Simões; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7501959623721607; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8950586647715771In the historical monuments of Belém structural masonry, along with the foundations and pillars, are responsible for supporting the building (VASCONCELLOS, 1979). These masonry are made of stone and solid bricks with lime mortar setting and can present various pathologies among which stand out the action of salt efflorescence and moisture. These two agents cause detachment of layers, mortar spraying, the appearance of cracks in masonry, and whitish appearance (HENRIQUES, 1994; CHAROLA, 2000). The research has as main objective the identification, characterization and attenuation of salt efflorescence, through study of the masonry of the right transept of the Church of St. Alexandre, located in historic downtown of Belém- PA. For this, laboratory techniques were used in order to understand the favorable process conditions of salt efflorescence, the damage to the materials, the kinds of salts and which materials are effective for desalination. First was the mapping the masonry and mapping damage to verify the current situation and the most degraded areas. Was subsequently performed the physical, chemical and mineralogical characterization: 1) physical characterization by sieve analysis, trace analysis and analysis of the moisture content of the masonry, 2) chemical characterization through qualitative and quantitative testing of salts and 3) characterization mineralogy by X-ray diffraction. The X-ray diffraction was also used to evaluate the efficacy of four types of desalination mortars containing clay (bentonite and kaolin) and sand in different ratios. At the end of the study it was found that the suggested techniques for characterization and mapping of the masonry proved efficient and aided in the correct diagnosis of the existing problem. Moreover, the research showed which kinds of mortar are recommended to desalination of masonry damaged by salt efflorescence.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Arquitetura e lugar: entre o conhecimento formal e os saberes locais no habitat ribeirinho da Amazônia em Barcarena (PA)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-10-01) VIRGÍLIO, Mariana Fayad; PERDIGÃO, Ana Klaudia de Almeida Viana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9009878908080486; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0668-8603Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Arquitetura pública moderna uma caracterização sobre tipologia e lugar na cidade de Belém(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-08-21) CARVALHO, Bárbara Moraes de; PONT VIDAL, Celma de Nazaré Chaves de Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0782346426511704The modern public architecture produced in the city of Belem has scarses studies that explore this object while architectural expression. This fact contributes to the low value of this architecture, by the reading population and even the technicians who unaware of the many faces of this architecture in the state capital. In order to perform an analysis that characterizes deeper, this study tried to point out how this architecture incorporated the architectural discourse developed in other capitals and produced an architecture that although authentic, constitutes one of the earliest existing interpretations about modern Brazilian architecture. This note was possible from an analysis performed according to two variables: the architectural typology and place. In typological analysis become clear analogies made in architectural design, the relationship between program needs and sectorization, and show how the modern structure evolved and was adapted. The analysis about the place was featured dialogue of architectural object with its immediate surroundings in two time frames: the first in its time of conception, whose relationship to the physical space that surrounds and method of implantation site often brought in references to other modern designs, and in contemporary times, where the relationship between architecture and environment is re-signified by the changes occurring in this space. The characterization of public architecture modern produced in Belem while architectural expression constitutes an important study not only for the local architecture, but for the understanding of the context on the diffusion of modern Brazilian architecture public.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Arquitetura residencial eclética em Belém do Pará (1870-1912): Um estudo da gramática das fachadas(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-08-30) FARIA, Maria Beatriz Maneschy; MIRANDA, Cybelle Salvador; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3254198738703536In this research we studied the compositional grammar from the facade of the eclectic residential architecture of Belem, on the formal aspects of its elements, through relations of symmetry, rhythm, proportions, layout, dimensions and use of colors in each of its parts. The study is restricted to the type of residential basement and a deck in specimens without definite authorship. The research also considers the importance of facades in construction of collective identity, based on a sense of belonging in the community. Therefore, using the ethnographic method in the apprehension of memory, since the interventions historic preservation often disregards the need to address the conflict between the old (original stylistic features of the building) and the new (current needs or preferences ), an old dilemma between permanence and change. To conduct the analysis, we created three categories of facades: pure classicist facades, classical facades with eclectic elements and eclectic facades. By considering the facade classicist pure source eclectic facade, it was preferred to the polychromatic geometric and analyzes a) Comparative analysis over time of iconographic images of the search, b) compositional analysis of the relationships proportions, dimensions and arrangements of façade elements based on proportionality golden c) Visual observation of chromatic patterns found from prospecting pictorial. From this study it was possible to say that the pure classicist facades have a limited vocabulary in the composition of its grammar, with well defined rules, but the projects in its origin, do not obey the compositional principles learned, which leads us to conclude that based on imitation of other works, possibly without relying on the guidance of professional architecture. As the ratio of chromatic ranges between the various elements of the composition of their facades, we identify the existence of a principle chromatic. We believe that the model is not found chromatic complex and not contrasts, but nuances of tone, used with meanings. This study contributes to the understanding of the eclectic civil architecture of Belem.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A arquitetura sem linhas do edifício Banna (Belém-Pa): a escrita do habitar a partir das ambiências(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-11-11) RODRIGUES, Rebeca Barbosa Dias; VIDAL, Celma de Nazaré Chaves de Souza Pont; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0782346426511704; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3437-3844The Banna apartment building (1978) is an exemplary of modern residential architecture in Belém-PA, designed by Engineer-Architect Alcyr Meira. The first part of this dissertation contextualized Banna in the historiography of modern architecture in Belém, within the process of the city’s verticalization as well as emphasizing the building’s unique periodization. It was observed that in its shapes and processes, Banna has responded to the classic precepts of modern architecture of proposing a rationalized, impersonal and inert space. However, the second part of this work asserts, through connections with fields such as phenomenology, that Banna could also be approached from the subjective experience of its spaces. Therefore, the poetics of dwelling in Banna apartments are the focus of this text. Hence, the concept of “ambiances” was summoned as an all-encompassing notion of reciprocal relationship between the objective dimension of space (tangible aspects) and the subjective dimension (intangible aspects). These ambiances helped in the construction of “Lineless Architecture (LA)”, an experiential approach which envisions the essential signifying relationships concerning space. Insofar as not being limited to the geometric outlines of architecture, LA proposes a representation of space in words, which resulted in “text-architectures”, a kind of poetic writing woven from the ambiances of dwell in Banna.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Avaliação através do desempenho térmico de edificação verticalizada em Belém-PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-04-01) VINAGRE, Natália Daniele de Lima; PERDIGÃO, Ana Kláudia de Almeida Viana; TOSTES, Maria Emília de Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4197618044519148; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9009878908080486This dissertation studies the thermal performance of materials in a vertical facade building in the city of Belém - PA, Brazil. This work aims to contribute to the study of the thermal performance and efficiency of materials used in residential buildings of the vertical envelopment, between opaque elements, two types of materials currently very used in construction were selected, painting and ceramic coating. It also studies the influence of the height of the building on its thermal performance and energy efficiency. The study was conducted with the use of computational modeling in EnergyPlus code that evaluates the thermal performance of the building, the influence of the height at the same energy efficiency. Compares the thermal performance of the two selected materials, it was found that the ceramic coating presented building with the average internal temperature of 0.42 ° C above the temperature at the building painted, hence less thermal performance. The influence of the height of the floor did not produce a significant variation in internal temperature, because its increase, small decrease occurred in the internal temperature with thermal gradient of about -0.07 º C / m due to the wind speed is greater when more higher the pavement. It is also considered for this study as passive natural ventilation strategy for the building under study, according to the analysis of Bioclimatic chart Givoni contribute positively to the condition of the internal temperature and humidity, and consequently the user.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Avaliação dos níveis de ruído e das soluções arquitetônicas adotadas em ambientes das unidades de urgência e emergência no município de Belém-PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-08-30) SOUZA, Mirza Mello; MELO, Gustavo da Silva Vieira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8850986817571748In large urban centers can be seen that the noise level is so high that it threatens the physical and psychological integrity of the inhabitants. However, it is observed that much of the noise in the hospital environment is originated from within hospital, and one of the main sources of noise in the units is caused by the communication by hospital’s staff and the equipment. The noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) is one of the consequences that loud noise can affect health, among other damage. Thus, the hospital environment should be calm and quiet becomes noisy and stressful environment, increasing anxiety and pain perception in the patient, reducing sleep and extending convalescence. Objective: Evaluate the acoustics of the main environments in units urgency and emergency in the city of Belém, Pará State, Brazil. Check the adequacy of health standards and technical regulations, with the simulation of a pilot ambience validated using the ODEON software and propose virtual solutions from conditioning acoustic. Material and Methods: we used the equipment Sound Level Meter with calibration certificate of the Brazilian Calibration Network (RBC) for measurement of NPS during daytime and nighttime, in accordance with the NBR 10.151 (2000), and the observation and identifying sources of noise environments. Results: The values obtained during the measurements of NPS in environments Hospital were 58 dB(A) to 70 dB(A) and Hospital B were 62 dB(A) to 70 dB(A). The pilot environment was selected according to the results and with the residence time of the health care team and patients. Conclusion: was developed the computational model validated the pilot environment, generating a proposed model with architectural interventions aimed at the acoustic comfort of the health care team and patients. The environments surveyed did not have noise levels above 85 dB (A), proving that there is no risk to occupational health teams. However, the high levels of noise are responsible for stimulating or even trigger a variety of symptoms that affect the working capacity of the health team, in addition to increasing convalescence and impair the recovery of patients.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Casarões históricos de Santarém: estudo sobre os sobrados e prédios históricos e sua significação dentro da área central da cidade de Santarém(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013) COUTO, Estefany Miléo de; MARQUES, Fernando Luiz Tavares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0365104813041022This research presents a study on the houses and historical buildings located in the central area of the city of Santarem in Para, which is the core founder of the city, these studies were performed using tools such as inventory and preservation ethnographic techniques, based on processes performed by organs and institutions of reference in this field, and with IPHAN DPHAC with intent to identify the historical and artistic values revelantes through physical surveys and documentary, in order to rescue the memory and local identity through the preservation of these works architectural, that despite the many influences and changes that have suffered during this process, still represent singular and notable examples of architecture from an era that can only be contemplating in Santarem.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Casas nobres em Belém do Pará segunda metade do século XVIII e início do século XIX(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-08-30) MORGADO NETO, José Marques; MARQUES, Fernando Luiz Tavares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0365104813041022This paper investigates the Noble Houses built in Belém in the second half of the eighteenth and early nineteenth century, identified, selected and analyzed based on literature, documentary and iconographic research. The historic city center of the city mentioned is used as a spatial area where the neighborhoods of Cidade Velha and Campina are inserted. They correspond to the primitive nuclei which shaped the urban space of Belém, former headquarters of the Province and State of Grão-Pará during the Administrative Model Colony in Portuguese America. Knowledge about the type of residential building Noble Houses and subsequent identification of specimens in the center of Belém is to reveal their occurrence in the Amazonian soil in a social, economic and political context specific to the Portuguese Ancient Regime. Three buildings were selected as case study: 1) Solar do Barão de Guajará, 2) the Casa Rosada, 3) and the House of Eleven Windows. At first, the genealogy in the Noble Portuguese House was searched, with an understanding of the symbolic values and semantic variations related to their morphology, as well as the knowledge of its architecture. Subsequently, we investigated the residential architecture of the Aristocracy in the Brazilian colonial settings, systematizing the main features from principles found in Portuguese genesis. Finally, the three selected Noble Houses were analyzed, guided by the knowledge of initial studies of its Portuguese and Luso-Brazilian congeners, establishing analogies among them and recognizing local specificities. The result of this research provides a knowledge basis for a specific genre of residential construction, the Noble House, which enables the identification of other specimens in Belém, and in other locations in the state of Pará, in urban or rural areas, making it also possible more informed interventions when these are necessary for its preservation, for we must know what we restore.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Cidade, desenho e natureza: uma reflexão sobre os espaços livres de Marabá(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-05-13) PONTES, Louise Barbalho; CARDOSO, Ana Cláudia Duarte; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3138101153535395The present work seeks to investigate the relationship between urbanization and the physical support through the features of Maraba's open spaces system (city located at Para's southeast, in the amazon context, presents itself in economic border situation, is object of urban experimentation and disconnected urban fabric filled with open spaces). To accomplish that, it’s needed to unravel the dichotomist view of city and nature through three analysis scale (global, national and local) unveiling conceptual placement socially created in rich countries that would suit as a background for the urban space production all over the world. The timelines developed from this conceptual deconstruction show that while in rich countries the ecological reconstruction and the quality of urban life is already pursed, in the economic border city, the economic rationality megalomania overlaps everyone and everything, leaving as a result great environmental end social tensions. However, the study invites to the reflection towards to new potentials for urban solutions in these spaces, precisely because of the non-occurrence of the complete territorial en social conversion, on the premise that the processes of urbanization of these cities happen in a single space-time, that has as privilege, the possibility of learn from the secular outline of world urban experiences and also from the traditional local knowledge that knew how to combine along time city and nature. From the science point of view the attention regarding the contemporary city form and the lenses capable of reveling the city materiality and its potential: the urban design and the landscape approach, as the starting point to elaborate a guide for empirical analysis formed by city apprehension instruments (scale, layers, borders and processes), tools for elaborate it (cartography, field investigation, people counting and interviews) and spatial quality parameters (diversity, attractiveness, comfort, access, security and identity). This way, Maraba's open spaces system is presented in a intermedium scale perspective (territorial, urban and district scale) and in objective and subjective layers (biophysical, urban and world's point of view) that reveals, besides its complexity, three degradation and fading processes (of the yard, of the public spaces and of preservation areas) and a great potential to reverse the loss – for there is a potential of an open space system structure - that unites possibilities to gather urban, environmental and cultural demands, and if thought as a coherent design could contribute to reestablish connections between urban cores that form the city with the biome and contribute to the fortification of local identity.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Cimentos de baixo impacto ambiental (LC3 ) a partir dos resíduos cauliníticos da Amazônia(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-02-02) ARRUDA JUNIOR, Euler Santos; BARATA, Márcio Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7450171369766897; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0012-3778The use of mineral additions as a partial replacement of clinker in Portland cement has been one of the main strategies for reducing CO2 emissions by the global cement industry. However, the availability of blast furnaces and fly ash does not meet demand. In the Amazon, the kaolin processing industries as a cover for paper have already deposited around 70 million tons of waste consisting essentially of extremely fine kaolinite. An alternative for the region would be the use of Portland cement with mineral additions of limestone and calcined clay for the production of a low CO2 cement - LC3 (limestone calcined clay cement). The objective of this work was to evaluate the properties of these LC3 cements with high incorporations of limestone and metakaolin from the kaolin processing residue. The levels of substitution of mineral additions on the common Portland cement mass were 45% and 60%. The investigated variables were specific mass, specific surface area Blaine, water of consistency and time of initial and final setting of the cement, in addition to the resistance to mortar compression. The incorporations of the metakaolin-lime mixtures increased the water demand and reduced the setting times due to the high fineness of the kaolinite. However, there were significant increases in compressive strength compared to common and compound Portland cements, demonstrating the high efficiency of this binder which reached compressive strength of up to 62.3 MPa at 91 days. As for the carbon footprint produced by LC3 cements. The results showed a 20% to 38% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to CPII F 40. Furthermore, the wide applicability of the LCA tool to the construction sector was evidenced. The results are promising, but require further studies, especially with regard to the aspects of rheology, durability in view of the high water demand of these cements, high tendency to retraction and low alkalinity and, mainly, regarding economic viability when combined with other actions to mitigate emissions such as increasing energy efficiency combined with the use of alternative fuels.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Circuito imobiliário e a cidade: coalizões urbanas e dinâmicas de acumulação do capital no espaço intraurbano de Belém(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-10-18) VENTURA NETO, Raul da Silva; LIMA, José Júlio Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5176390429456548This research contributes to the discussion about the configuration of Real Estate market in Belém and recent changes which are related to the process, ongoing financialization of national Real Estate market. Context of analyzes are undertaken resulting in formation of local Real Estate market, and how intra-urban dynamics in Belém derive from this process over twentieth century. Explores mainly the context that leads to consolidating two different fronts of performance of real estate location: Central area and axis expansion highway Augusto Montenegro. In continuation, we analyze the current moment, which is marked by the entry of national Real Estate developers publicly traded in the local market, highlighting how these companies act in the urban space of the city and contrasting with the way of working of local Real Estate developers.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O Descompasso do “modelo” na urbe amazônida: o caso de Porto Velho, Rondônia(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-09-30) MORELATO, Adriana Hiromi Nishida; CARDOSO, Ana Cláudia Duarte; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3138101153535395The establishment of the company town Madeira Mamoré Railway Company represents the genesis of the city of Porto Velho. Since then, the city´s urban expansion has been characterized by the hegemony of the functionalist logic of production, aimed to the exploitation of natural resources and capital accumulation. In contrast to the pre-existing way of life, which was based on a harmonious relationship of diverse communities and the natural environment, focusing on the coexistence of both parts. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the consequences of the city model adopted at the origin of Porto Velho, based on the pragmatic and functional patterns of the company town MMR, and how it affected the population’s quality of life and the coexistences on the natural environment. Hence, we sought to understand the city standards of the industrial society in the 20th century through the analysis of the Urbanism anthology elaborated by Choay (1965), and to demonstrate that the expansion of capital over the Global South occurred as a re-presentation of the colonialism based on the need for domination and domestication of a different local reality. Authors such as Fanon (1952), Acosta (2009) and Cusicanqui (2015) were used to highlight the need for a holistic and cosmopolitan view of the reality of the cities in the Global South, especially in the Amazon area. Targeting a true development, aligned with the de-colonial concepts. The order-disorder, progress-delay and rupture-continuity dichotomies were used to analyze the city of Porto Velho in its genesis and contemporaneity, considering the "space production agents", "infrastructure provision", " road network", "socio-spatial organization", "housing" and "natural elements" categories. As a result, the inefficiency of the exogenous solutions that led the process of creation and expansion of the city was proven. This welcomes and reconcile the Amazonian diversity with the human needs, based on an alliance between ancestral knowledge and new technologies, constituting, finally, innovative alternatives.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Desempenho termoenergético da utilização de telhado vegetal em edificação no clima amazônico(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-03-19) MARINHO, Dircirene Tavares; FRANCO, Irving Montanar; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4254203203850909; TOSTES, Maria Emília de Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4197618044519148The thermoenergetic performance of all construction work stems from the decisionmaking of the initial phase, and the thermo-physical characteristics of the materials used must be considered. The thermo-physical phenomenon of inertia in the roof vegetable offers resistance to the transport of thermic charge to inside the edification, reducing the demand of the electric energy needed to its climatic conditioning. At the same time, the low albedo of the roof vegetable contributes to mitigate the effects of the heat islands in urban environments. The bioclimatic and microclimatic study needed will determine the choice of the suitable construction materials, especially regarding the protection of surfaces exposed to solar heat load. This work deals with the experimental verification of the thermoenergetic performance of a room covered with grass in a place where the vegetation is predominant, in the Guamá Science and Technology Park, Federal University of Pará Campus. The key objective was to examine the thermal response of the slab by proving mitigation of heat spikes by physical phenomenon of thermal inertia, implying favorable results of energy performance by reducing the use of active cooling. It was performed preliminary characterization of the indoor and outdoor microclimate through the obtained values of temperature and relative humidity of air, and observed the evolution of internal environmental conditions in two phases, with the slab discovered and after application of vegetation. The quantitative results showed favorable performance of the roof vegetation in the moderation of heat flow through the slab, contributing to the reduction of the temperature of indoor air and consequent energy efficiency in buildings in Amazonian climate.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Deterioração das pedras da arquitetura mortuária do cemitério Nossa Senhora da Soledade(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-10-31) SILVA, Pâmela Anne Bahia Vieira da; ANGÉLICA, Rômulo Simões; SANJAD, Thais Alessandra Bastos Caminha; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8950586647715771; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7501959623721607The city of Belém do Pará contains an area that harbors numerous stone monuments which mark and identify the Belém’s 19th century society. This area is the Cemetery of Soledade, which now function as an outdoor museum. Besides the weathering, wich makes stones change constantly, Soledade has suffered with looting and vandalism throughout its more than 150 years of existence. The presence of deterioration on the stones of tombs and mausoleums of the first public cemetery in Belém damages the quality and integrity of the material, interfering negatively in the reading of the spatial image. The Cemetery has been listed as a National Heritage Landscape since 1964 by IPHAN. Considering the importance of conservation and restoration of ancient buildings and monuments to preserve the memory of a society, this research sought to assess the deterioration by weathering and anthropogenic origin in the different stones used in tombs and mausoleums of Cemetery of Soledade. In order to generate subsidies for the conservation and restoration of these stones, the characteristics of rocks used, its state changes and the causes of deterioration were assessed. The analysis and technological investigations allowed for the identification of granite, limestone and marble and for the determination of agents and mechanisms of deterioration such as chemical action, high temperatures and microbiological action. The diagnosis of the conservation condition throrough the mapping of damages based on the Illustrated Glossary on Stone Deterioration Patterns of ICOMOS confirmed the advanced level of the pathological manifestations on the surfaces of stones, which also present lack of internal cohesion and discontinuities according with ultrasound results. To contribute to future conservation actions, restoration procedure tests to clean the monuments such as the polishing and application of bentonite plaster were performed efficiently. The results highlight the urgent need for conservation actions to reduce the rate of deterioration and mitigate the current advanced state of the same. With the data obtained, this study try to be an alert to the the situation of abandonment of the Cemetery of Soledade, promoting the importance of keeping it preserved for future generations.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Do Largo das Mercês à Praça Visconde do Rio Branco: um estudo de gestão do patrimônio histórico em Belém do Pará, 1941-2011(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-03-27) BORGES, Tatiana Carepa Roffé; FIGUEIREDO, Aldrin Moura de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4671233730699231From Largo das Mercês to Praça Visconde do Rio Branco: a study of historical heritage management in Belém do Pará, 1941-2011, proposes to conduct an analysis of the management of organ preservation at the local, state and federal in Belém, Pará, from a study on the square and immediate surroundings (houses surrounding it) in order to observe the evolution of the characterization and conservation of the architectural, urban and landscape from the 1940s to the present day.
