Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Uma análise etnográfica na memória e cotidiano na Avenida Governador Magalhães Barata- Belém/Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-03-31) BAHIA, Carmosina Maria Calliari; MIRANDA, Cybelle Salvador; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3254198738703536This research aims to analyze the memory and daily life at Magalhães Barata Avenue, using the method of Street Ethnography, used as a resource for the preservation of the cultural heritage of the area. This proposal is based on the experience of the researcher and architect of the Goeldi Museum, for over 30 years, which aroused looking at the changes in the former Independence Avenue architecture in this time interval. The choice of the ethnographic method provided a qualitative and closest approach of the avenue residents‘, allowing us to an analysis of the interactions, the memory of the residents, the daily lives of passersby, traditional activities of formal and non-formal working, from the first decades of the XX century. During the immersions in the avenue, we use the interviews to record the historical and affective memory of the passerby, who works and who lives on the avenue, as well as we use the photographic record as a way of highlighting the transformations in the architecture. In response to the guiding research question "How to preserve the architectural diversity of the Avenue, considering the changes that have occurred and the social dynamics of the place?" We conclude that the knowledge gained from the incursions in the field will allow the appreciation of the cultural heritage found in the stretch where a marked change in the customs and local ambience is visible. Through actions adapted by cultural institutions located in the Avenue, we can make the daily activities of the streets, where the human relationships are found, work and friendship ones, as well as routine activities that have the testimony of personal and social events. This is the rescue of cultural memory, an important factor for preservation of the identity of the place.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Remoção e reassentamento em baixadas de Belém: Estudos de caso de planos de reassentamento (1980-2010)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-08-30) LEÃO, Monique Bentes Machado Sardo; LIMA, José Júlio Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5176390429456548The main strategy for the urbanization of Baixadas (waterlogged áreas) in Belém has been the implementation of macro drainage projects, in which there is a large number of forced evictions. It is set the hypothesis that in Belém, the planning of resettlement s and their implementation after the beginning of building works is problematic due to inadequate conceptions that associate the works and lack of precision on housing solutions for the evicted population because of the criteria used. Thus, the objective of this dissertation is to confront criteria put forward by international development agencies with the experiences in Belem. It takes into consideration that the orientations of the agencies have influenced the urban policies in the country, including the criteria for resettlement. The results show inconsistencies and lack of precision in the Resettlement Plans from 1980 until 2010 set up for three basins, Una, Tucunduba and Estrada Nova. The historical period corresponds to political changes in the country, and is characterized by the increase in the number of funding coming from international agencies, the study of the projects are able to demonstrate that, although there is a rejection in the discourses of the agencies, they do not take into consideration social aspects, such as the guarantee of adequate living conditions for evicted with urban and social insertion.
