Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Conferência Infanto Juvenil para o Meio Ambiente (CIJMA): uma análise das ações socioeducativas voltadas a Educação Ambiental nos diferentes cenários da Amazônia paraense(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-07-08) ALMEIDA, Elana Gracielle Santos; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537This dissertation focuses its analysis on the performance of CIJMA the different scenarios in the state of Pará. The main objective is to understand / analyze how to consolidate environmental education practices conducted in the school context arising from the participation of schools selected in this study in the process of CIJMA, which occurs from the selective stages of municipal, regional and national levels in subsequent periods to the event as a way to understand its consequences. Schools will be analyzed in the period 2013 to 2015 and focused on two distinct realities, namely, the first school is a scenario with urban characteristics - The State School Regina Coeli Silva e Sousa in the municipality of Anantapur and the second institution is a scenario with riverine and rural feature The Municipal School St. Benedict in the municipality of Portel. The theoretical framework is anchored in the perspective of critical environmental education and emancipatory; and is based on a qualitative study, guided by multiple case study; and data collection semi-structured interviews were conducted with the school community of the institutions participating in the process, questionnaires and photographic records, and school documents, literature review and experiences in the school routine. Some of the authors who helped us to understand the context studied were Freire (2014), Cury (1986); Guimarães (2012), Loureiro (2014), Layrargues (2005; 2009), Mészáros (2008) and the National Environmental Education Policy (PNEA). The survey provided an opportunity to realize, from the speeches of the interviewees and, in reading the educational projects of those schools that there were attempts and mutual efforts to promote environmental education and projects continuously, but still needs more resizing these practices as form of potentiates various actions in the context of a more comprehensive and critical dimension of EA.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Educação ambiental como instrumento de gestão na RESEX Mapuá: mediações para o desenvolvimento local(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-09-08) LEITE, Etiene Lobato; MORAES, Sérgio Cardoso de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4568311568729454; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537This study results of a research in a conservation unit in the municipality of Breves, archipelago of Marajó, state of Pará. Its starting point is these questions: how does the relationship between environmental education and conservation unit management takes place? Does it converge to strengthen participatory practices of sustainable environmental development of the conservation unit? The attempt to build answers demanded a research survey whose main objective was to identify and analyze to what extent the relationship between environmental education and management contribute to meeting social and democratic commitments reflecting public action of schools, neighborhood association and council and meet the principles of creation of a conservative unit. Fulfilling this aim required to characterize the educational space in conservative unit; to check out whether environmental education practiced corresponds to the social and environmental development project in progress and how environmental education is included in the qualification process of the local population in order to participate (school governing board and neighborhood association). Data comes from questionnaires with open questions and semi-structured interviews, observation, and document. The research shows that the relationship between environmental education and management in a conservative unit is still incipient. Really there are possible paths, but they convergence. There are actions that shape the role of formal education — represented by schooling — and of non formal one — activities developed by ICMBio. But there is no dialogue between education intentions. Educational practices present in the conservative unit must adapt their pedagogy to meet local demands — content must be contextualized so that learning can be (res)signified based on "knowledge and nature" and focused on a life based on elements provided by the "forest and the waters" and valuing cultural and occupational practices. Possibilities of making it to establish are still must converge. Therefore, school, inhabitants and their association, public departments, councils, and other interested parties present in the conservative unit need combining efforts: environmental care, community organization, education integrated to the environment, and participatory management.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Educação ambiental como instrumento para a gestão na Resex marinha Cuinarana, Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-10-04) FERREIRA, Eliton Janio Araújo; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537This study aims at investigating the environmental education actions in Cuinarana Extractive Reserve, maily, considering these points: analyze the environmental education actions developed by the several actors in the RESEX area; inquiry the possible contributions of Environmental Education to the management of the Reserve; suggest guidelines for RESEX management. The conceptual frameworks guiding this study are: Environmental Management, Participatory Management in Conservation Units and Environmental Education, analyzing its socio-environmental aspects, based on the actions of public managers and the community neighboring the reserve. The research locus is Cuinarana Marine Extractive Reserve, based in Magalhães Barata County, in the northeast region of Pará State, Brazil. The method chosen for the development of this research is the case study, with a qualitative approach, it involves bibliographical and documentary review on the field. Upon the investigation, the results show that environmental education actions carried out by local actors have little relation to participatory management in UC, and that there is a lack of knowledge about the purposes and importance of RESEX, caused by the lack of information and disarticulation among the actors.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Educação ambiental e gestão participativa em unidades de conservação: estudo de caso na área de proteção ambiental da Fazendinha, Macapá-AP(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-06-24) RIBEIRO, Francisco Michael de Brito; MORAES, Sérgio Cardoso de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4568311568729454; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537This research aimed to analyze how the actions of Environmental Education were able to contribute to participatory environmental management in APA Fazendinha; and also proposed to carry out an analysis of the perception of residents about the institutional action of the unit managing body, as well as their involvement in the management of the APA. The concept of environmental education, adopted in this work, is based on the theoretical assumptions of Frederick Loureiro, according to which debate on participatory management of Conservation Units (UC ) by transforming environmental education. Regarding the design of participatory management, we adopted the assumptions of José Quintas who argues about education in public management process. As a method of approach the case study was adopted, and for analyzing the qualitative and quantitative method. Empirical data were recorded in analog form through questionnaires, with structured and semi- structured questions; and digital format MP3 extension. The audio files were transcribed into text files in .txt format. Already the data from the questionnaires were tabulated in the software database SPSS v15 (Statistical Package for Social Sciences). The participants were people Reference 150 families residing in the APA, as well as members of the Management Board of the APA and technicians of the SEMA. As a result it was found that the UC does not have Management Plan, which helps to engender several environmental conflicts such as environmental degradation due to urban expansion and predatory activities (deforestation, burning, hunting, waste, pollution, etc.); It has a Management Council that does not meet frequently and therefore can not perform their institutional duties. Still can mention the inefficient management of the APA governing body that does not monitor and supervise the unit. There was also that EA has little contributed to the consolidation of environmental management unit the following factors: environmental education sporadic and occasional, lack of continuity in the actions; no involvement of the local community in the planning and implementation of environmental education, as well as the low effectiveness of the Council and the Governing Body that interact little and articulate with the local community in search of a participatory management. Therefore, it is important that the governing body understand environmental education as an alternative guidance and management to drive, in addition to being seen as an environmental public policy strategy, based on participative management between the government and local stakeholders (residents, leaders, Association, cooperatives, etc.), so that together discuss and decide the course of the APA Fazendinha and can thus strengthen the environmental management of UC and lead to sustainability.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Educação ambiental: ideias, saberes e práticas relatadas por professores em um país em reconstrução, Angola(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-12-12) BUZA, Ruth Gabriel Canga; GONÇALVES, Terezinha Valim Oliver; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0496932429575513The Angolan context served as the backdrop for this work. We surveyed three schools of public schools, we have two teachers from each school, and these teachers of the discipline of Environmental Studies (which can be considered as the discipline of Sciences here in Brazil ) these teachers teach in primary ( term used for elementary schools ) . This study is qualitative in nature, the narrative approach, and with this choice had the opportunity to dive into the experiences related to teaching practice of these teachers in the classroom , and to analyze the insertion of Environmental Thematic teaching practice in Angola . Angola has numerous brands in their history of exploitation and war , these in turn brought great impact to the Angolan society , allowing us to realize today deficiencies mental and moral order of the sons and daughters of this land coming . Write about education in the country, is to write about how teachers and students can overcome the many difficulties experienced daily. and even in this context also invest in the teaching - learning confident in building a better future . Through research it was possible to hear the teachers and register reports about how the Environmental Thematic is inserted in the classroom, however with the observation of the school , it was also possible to note the need for a more thorough approach , which was already noticeable notice some glitches related to the care of the school . Environmental education alone favors the formation of reflective beings , which allows the gradual change of society.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Empreendimentos econômicos e política ambiental na Amazônia: um estudo sobre os programas ambientais e a educação ambiental no contexto da Mineração Alcoa no município de Juruti no estado do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010-09-27) VELLOSO, Leônidas Pompeu Leão; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537This work aims to study the relationships that have to build from the installation of Bauxite Mine Extraction Company by Alcoa in the municipality of Juruti. The objective is to study the social and environmental impact that the installation of mining is causing and from a critical and emancipatory understand how the state, society and business are related and what interests are served. The theoretical construction of this work takes as a foundation for discussion of environmental complexity, environmental education in environmental management, development processes in Amazonia, democracy and modes of production, together with these elements that the discussion of the logic of capital. The mining company has to change production methods and habits of a significant part of local people to understand that the methodology was the lifting of quantitative and qualitative data, which were constructed from interviews with local actors, information collected through institutions working with statistical data and literature surveys for the construction of the theoretical discussion together with the reports that were presented in the media. The analysis of the indicators presented by the company and its program of environmental education were two important instruments for the analysis of work, because it is possible to see how weak the process of building a real alternative to improving the lives of people where the lack of governance and straightforward way to ensure governance dictate orders. The completion of the work shows that the social and environmental impact caused by the company significantly changed the lives of local people, their habits, their customs, their mode of production. Promoted the increase of diseases and injuries caused by poisonous animals, caused the swelling of the headquarters of the city and that so far the measures the company took in March of mitigation are small impacts, such as improving the selective collection of solid waste.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Formação continuada de professores: um estudo do Curso de Aperfeiçoamento em Educação Ambiental no município de Moju no ano de 2014(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-07-08) COSTA, Deyse Danielle Souza da; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537The present study analyzes the From the look Improvement Course graduates in Environmental Education (CAEA), contributions and limitations of continuing training processes paragraph teachers As implementation of the National Policy. This research presents still environmental education as a management tool, not only from its reductionist vision, restricted to human action of depositing waste in inappropriate places, but most of all, from a systemic, interdisciplinary and critic discussion that problematize the complex relations involving environmental issues in its multiple aspects, in addition to the bureaucratic formalism, and build new rational cultures that make it possible to develop actions of transformations and emancipations that actually contribute to the social well-being. For that, were performed several field research that sought to identify the vulnerability and designing environmental education of the population resident in the neighborhood Montese, to draw the profile of the resident of that neighborhood, to identify points of flood and flooding and the actions of the organs legally responsible for the management of risks and natural disasters. Therefore, it was concluded that the cases of flooding in Montese neighborhood will continue to occur, given the physical characteristics of the land and the high rainfall in the region, but, above all, by the absence or ineffectiveness of integrated territorial planning focused on the specificity of the local population public policy, the need for continuous and permanent programs and actions of environmental education in the community, with the purpose of providing environmental rationality and/or awareness that transforms the human being and your space lived, as well as by the precariousness of basic constitutional rights of the citizen.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A matinta tem a cor da chuva: ludicidade como estratégia de ensino-aprendizagem para Educação ambiental(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-08-31) DIAS, Maírna Costa; NAKAYAMA, Luiza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3771896759209007Whereas popular culture was established as a colorful mosaic of myths, rituals, values and knowledge, and they, in turn, are often absent from school spaces impeding the formation of critical social subjects and able to appreciate the local culture we recognize in the Amazonian legends (represented in this work by the legend of Matinta Perera) potential rescue tools, recovery and reinterpretation of the Amazon culture. The objective of this research was to try to understand the possibilities and approaches between Amazon mythopoeic and environmental education attentive and contextualized to the rich imagery of popular culture present in children's speech. We develop our study in Early Childhood Education School "Ecoescola Rita Nery" located in Tenoné District, Bethlehem, PA to the following methodology: focus group training with teachers of Ecoescola for discussion and planning of activity, thematic delimitation "urban waste and Matinta Perera "story staging tied the chosen theme," retelling "of the story by children and collection of narratives. We note, by the children's narratives, the character Matinta Perera presented with diverse character which provided an opportunity for children to incorporate habits and attitudes "ecologically correct", started to behave as environmental multipliers.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Pensando com a educação crítica para crítica da educação ambiental na reserva extrativista Ipaú-Anilzinho(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-05-03) POMPEU, Eliel do Carmo; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537This study had as object the Environmental Education (E.A) from Anilzinho and Joana Peres EMEIF. This formulation sought to answer the following questions: What is an evident context about the socio-educational reality of Anilzinho EMEIF and Joana Peres EMEF for an Environmental Education by critical bias? What Environmental Educational propositions have been thought for EMEIF context from Anilzinho and EMEIF from Joana Peres as E.A practices? How does E.A present itself at EMEIF from Anilzinho and at EMEF from Joana Peres, having as context traditional communities and the institutionalization of RESEX? It was sought to make an analysis about the present E.A in the perception of educator subjects and in the context of EMEIF from Anilzinho and EMEF from Joana Peres as an instrument of pedagogical mediation and environmental sociability. The methodology was produced by bibliographical review and semi-structured interview, using as reference method historical-dialectical materialism and, as a technique of interpretation, content analysis. The study came up to some conclusions: The schools’ subjects and contexts have little institutionalization knowledge of the National Policy of Environmental Education and although the E.A came to be part of the social conscience of the school educator subjects, these have not promoted theory-practicing, pedagogical organization, discusses among schools and RESEX, between traditional and scientific knowledge, school articulation, policy and community, as well as, formation, understanding on RESEX, E.A and other resources to produce advances over Socio-environmental schools reality from Anilzinho and Joana Peres.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A política de educação ambiental como instrumento para a gestão integrada dos recursos naturais no estado do Pará: um estudo de caso do município de Paragominas(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-03-16) PAIXÃO, Fidelis Junior Martins da; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537This dissertation aims to analyze environmental education as a public policy implemented by the Municipality of Paragominas in the management of local natural resources in response to the serious social, economic, ecological and cultural crisis that the community has experienced in the last decade. Paragominas, despite its peculiarities, is a geopolitical space representative of the environmental reality and the conflicts that the use of natural resources causes in the Amazon region, fruit of the development model that generated the environmental crisis and social inequality. Its social, economic, cultural and political dynamics were based on an initial cycle of exploitation of forest resources, followed by the tonic of deforestation and exploitation of livestock, with the consequent fall of activities due to the scarcity of these natural resources, with the search for New alternatives for local development in the following cycles. Paragominas's response to this crisis became known nationally, having generated a state-wide public policy, called "Green Municipalities", deserving of an accurate analysis, which identified and typified the Public Policy Cycles in the light of theories on management of Natural resources, environmental education as a field of articulation between knowledge and ethics and the typologies of public policies. Finally, it presents elements for a proposal to regulate environmental education programs by the National Environmental Council.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) As possibilidades da inserção da Educação ambiental em unidades de conservação: o caso da reserva extrativista “Ipaú-Anilzinho” na Amazônia tocantina(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-07-11) MORAES, Roble Carlos Tenório; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537This work presents the issue about Environmental Education in Protected Area (extractive reserve) which holds the Conservation Units of the National System (CUNS, Law 9.985, July 18th, 2000). The lócus of research were Joana Peres and Anilzinho Communities which holds Ipaú-Anilzinho Extractive Reserve located in Baião/Pa Municipality in the Northeast of Pará. It had as fact the environmental education actions developed by ICMBio at RESEX Ipaú-Anilzinho and the matter listed as question of how actions of environmental education as public politics in sense of conservation unit are related with RESEX management and how they contribute to the local development of the communities. The environmental education analysis field was not stuck on schooling formal education but on informal and non-formal education that presents the actions target developed by ICMBio and the populations’ activities from RESEX. In this research it was used historical-speech materialism with theory perspective, and qualitative approach, that permits to the qualitative supervisors understand their methods in historical context. We supported the discussion of critical theory as theoretical field foundation and the analysis was made through Marxism method which guides the research considering Marxism elements inserted into speech, history and mediation. By the method substantiation we thought about environmental incursion directed to: environmental crisis, environmental protection space constitution, as well as their environmental education of institution processes as mediator of actions in this area for environmental sustainability construction, involving traditional communities and public force which manage these spaces. Advance and backspace were identified and at the content analysis we identify that besides the difficulties undertaken as public force as traditional populations, there were advances with the creation of extractive reserve, we also identify that the Environmental Education National Politic is present on ICMBio actions through Environmental Education National Program and the actions of the managing body have effects and contribute to the development of the reserve, in addition other situations have surfaced and need to be remedied as, the conflicts that make difficult the management of the UC by situations that go from the illegal extraction of wood, absence of reserve's parent association, the division of the reserve into poles (North and South), resistance to ICMBio's presence and actions by a portion of residents, absence of a pedagogical proposal in the school that considers the reserve area, management plan not approved, permanence of settlements and non-traditional populations in the RESEX, among other situations pointed out in the work. The research made possible understanding of the duality of man / nature and will certainly contribute in new perspectives to help in the construction of possible proposals of intervention of environmental education for more efficient management of the UC.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Problematização no ensino de biologia com o Arco de Maguerez: um ebook para professores desenvolvido em contexto amazônico(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-10) BAHIA, Gilberto Cardoso; PINHEIRO, Jackson Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5628921304262824; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2930-4756The search for new pedagogical practices, which can be applied to the teaching of biology, has been rising recently, always with the aim of enhancing the teaching and learning process. In this perspective, the research brought a methodology based on constructivism: the problematization, having as reference the “Arco de Maguerez”, which presents in its didactics, the enrichment of the student protagonism, rooted in the investigative principle retained in its pedagogical core, besides consolidating it as an educational practice that provides a reflective thinking of the actors involved in the process. Therefore, the present work has as main objective to analyze an educational product (eBook) about the possibilities of its use as a pedagogical tool in teacher education, in addition to the didactic methodology presented, as an instructive strategy in the discussion of socio-environmental themes in the Amazon scenario. The research was quantitative, based on the collection and analysis of data from a spreadsheet of closed questions and using the Likert scale, answered by biology teachers from basic education in the public and / or private network. The selection criteria for the research subjects were linked in two aspects: a) with experience in environmental education / sustainability projects in their work institutions; b) graduate students with professional master's degrees in biology teaching at a federal public university. All data showed a high level of agreement from the research subjects, in the criteria established in the spreadsheet, such as: design, language, organization, textual content, methodology used and in teacher training. After the data analysis process, the product was reformulated and made available for consultation and enjoyment.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) O programa de educação ambiental dos grandes empreendimentos (Vale S/A) na amazônia e as implicações socioambientais nas comunidades do entorno: o caso da vila Bom Jesus no município de Canaã dos Carajás(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-05-30) PEREIRA, Alexandre Macedo; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537The aims of this research is to examine the Environmental Education Program (PEA) in the Sossego Project (mine of prospective copper exploration), Vale S/A enterprise located in “Canaan dos Carajás” city, Southeast of Pará State, identify the basic principles of the PEA, to understand the dynamics employed by “Vale” in the preparation of PEA and find out whether or not PEA promotes social and environmental transformations in the community of Bom Jesus village, leading to better quality of life and strengthening citizenship. The Amazon is not a region characterized as a movable frontier, but rather a region that has acquired its own dynamics, presenting scenarios that are configured for development. The process of development of the Amazon is based on the dynamic regional location, which itself behind trends of past policies, current policies and spontaneous processes of social groups, the regional impacts of recovery planning by the Union (Brazil in Action Program, 1996, Advance Brazil , 2000-2003), world market and national and international policys; of the speed with that changes happen, differentiated social and territorially in function of the access to the technology, networks and financial resources, and finally the new meaning of geopolitics, that is no longer as focus on the conquest of territories but ownership of the decision on its use. Therefore, the Amazon territory is understood as a space that should be preserved primarily to ensure survival of the planet; yet this understanding the Amazon coexists simultaneously with economic and mercantile interests, which are expressed in a process of marketization of nature and ownership of power of decision of the state over land use. Environmental Education is presented as a management tool in the context of discussions regarding the Amazon, that while as make educative, has commitments to individual and collective changes, local and global, structural and cyclical, economic and political. The Environmental Education is a powerful instrument in the socioambiental analysis of the Amazon to have commitment with the social equality, equity of rights, respect for differences and the various forms of knowledge and environmental justice; elements strongly present in the Amazon territory. The research will have a exploratory and descriptive character based on interdisciplinary theoretician-methodological presupposition. The research has it theoretical foundation in the literature of environmental management, local development and economy- ecology, environmental education, Amazon Geopolitics. The survey results showed that the implantation of Sossego Project in the town of Canaan dos Carajás, produce negative impacts on the community of Bom Jesus village insted to generates development. The indicators show that the community experience daily problems with education, housing, basic sanitation, water supply, power distribution, employment, violence etc. The relationship between Vale and the community is not efficient and nor it assures the democratic process of the community in taking of decisions.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Programa Escolas Sustentáveis na política pública de educação ambiental no município de Ananindeua: uma análise de três instituições de ensino(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-03-08) RIBEIRO, Mônica Goreth Costa; BASTOS, Rodolpho Zahluth; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0697476638482653; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537This research aim to ascertain the realization of Sustainable School Programs as a structuring policy for environmental education in three educational institutions, located in the Ananindeua town. The specific objectives were: to identify the philosophical, theoretical and methodological assumptions of the Sustainable Schools Program in the national sphere and its implementation in the municipality of Ananindeua and to identify the indicators of school sustainability in 03 schools of the Program in the municipal sphere, from the perspective of the school discussion as a sustainable educator space. The methodological procedures adopted were based on a qualitative approach in which an exploratory research was carried out, which included a bibliographical research where a dialogue was held with several authors who deal with this subject. Another time we went to the field to know and understand the perceptions of those involved with the school on Environmental Education, in which the questionnaire application technique was developed. This method was chosen because it allows the researcher a broader understanding of the importance that education has in human formation, revealing how it is possible to propose environmental education practices integrating the contents of the school curriculum. The authors of this work are Libane (1994), Morin (2011), Oliveira (2006), Leff (2001), Saviani (2005), Freire (1996), Veiga-Neto (1999), Gadotti 1998), Lakatos (2001), Gil (2002), Brazil (2013), Guimarães (2012) were used to qualify the theoretical reference. The results pointed to the need for interaction and communication between the maintainers and the institutions, the realization of an effective planning that counts on the monitoring of the management and coordination with the teachers to help them to develop an interdisciplinary work as required by the commitment of the teachers to dialogue with students in order to stimulate their perceptions about the importance of caring for and preserving and making the school sustainable.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Proposições para o fortalecimento da educação ambiental na área de influência da UHE Tucuruí: sob o olhar da percepção ambiental de docentes do ensino fundamental(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-06-29) TEIXEIRA, Thaise Daniele Paixão; ROCHA, Gilberto de Miranda; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2436176783315749The study examines environmental perception considering the construction of the Tucuruí Hydroelectric Power Plant, which led to a series of spatial, social, and environmental changes within the project's affected area. This transformation altered the human-nature relationship and individuals' perception of their environment. The research aims to contribute to the strengthening of public policies, particularly within the framework of measures designed to mitigate the impacts of hydroelectric plants. This will be achieved through an analysis of the Environmental Perception of public school teachers involved in the environmental education program of the Tucuruí Hydroelectric Power Plant within its scope of influence. The study is conducted across six schools situated in the municipalities of Tucuruí and Breu Branco, involving a total of 60 teachers and 6 administrators as participants. Data collection involved semi-structured interviews with school administrators and open-ended questionnaires directed to teachers. Quantitative data were systematically processed and organized, with results depicted in graphs. Qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis, aided by the IRaMuTeQ Software. The outcomes of this investigation revealed that the majority of participants possessed knowledge about the educational initiatives aimed at raising awareness about the Environmental Education Program (AEP) of the Tucuruí HPP. However, despite acknowledging the program's limitations, most teachers believe that the AEP contributes to mitigating environmental degradation in the vicinity of the Tucuruí HPP. Nevertheless, it is imperative to critically examine the socio-economic and cultural context of the communities, identifying potential issues before implementing activities. This entails considering the diverse environments and historical ties of those affected by the project. Consequently, investing in and intensifying the program's presence within the school environment becomes essential. This underscores the need for enhanced training and program adjustments that foster meaningful learning and the development of environmentally conscious citizens.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Proposta de ensino investigativo em Educação Ambiental no Ensino Médio utilizando robótica e espaços não formais de aprendizagem(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-10) COSTA, Luciana Monteiro da; LEMOS, Jussara Moretto Martinelli; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5264841936875017; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9646-4763; XAVIER, Luciana Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6207860145204571; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0913-8765ABSTRACT Water as an important element for life maintenance and biological balance is a complex subject matter and demands a contextualized and interdisciplinary approach from the teacher. The knowledge connection to real situations and technology usage is requirement for the current formation of High School students, together to challenges of pedagogical practice. The same way it is a challenge for us to change the teaching and learning paradigm when they are active methodological proposals for learning, inserting the student in the center of this process in an active way and with recognized gains in motivation and learning. The main focus of this research was to survey and analyze the applying of a pedagogical proposal using educational robotics as an integrative and motivational tool studying The Water to promote environmental education in an investigative approach to a tributary of Murucupi River placed around Eduardo Angelim School in the town of Barcarena, North of Brazil, including the production and validation of a didactic script for High School Biology teachers. The investigative activities were made in order to contribute not only for teaching practice, but also for social interaction, motivation for knowledge building and to solve challenges, autonomy and communication, making the students paying attention around the school. The research methodology was made according to a quantitative approaching together to a qualitative one. Starting from an integrated view of the environment and the previously shared studies, the students were challenged to think about ways to construct a robot that was base for electrodes to check the temperature, turbidity and water pH from Murucupi River and from school. Although it was a rich and significant experience for the teaching learning to implement new practices, the lack of structure is seen as a challenge to be overcome. The students seemed motivated in the activities, the collaborative construction and the sharing of learning with the community during the Science Fair, watching a better learning as individual self-esteem, and mainly in recognizing the importance of environment education and water for community. All the steps were useful to accomplish in practice, the experience of a scientific research and validate the didactic script made from the experiments with students.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) Representações sociais de aquecimento global por professores de ciências(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-06-07) SANTANA, André Ribeiro de; NAKAYAMA, Luiza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3771896759209007Through the present study sought to characterize social representations of global warming for science teachers (Biology, Physics and Chemistry). Applied 70 questionnaires and interviewed 10% of target. The results showed that 97% of respondents blame man for global warming. However 50% of this amount portrays him as both a victim of climate events usually represented catastrophically. The media strongly influence these social representations, therefore claiming long working hours, my informants’ base their knowledge on the content of news magazines and TV programs; only 6.8% reported doing the same interactions with their peers in the school. Three peculiarities characterized allusions to reality Amazon: extreme emphasis on human dependence on the natural environment; associations of the manifestations of global warming with the forest and the waters; distancing weather events impacting and tragic. When approached everyday belenense global warming was associated with the phenomena with which it is possible to live: intensification of rainfall and heat. In terms of anchoring, were associations of global warming with the ozone layer, greenhouse gases and air pollution. Regarding the objectification, global warming was presented as planetary-scale ecological imbalance, and 21.4% of my informants perceive as punitive response of Nature to human actions. One thought was consensual: there is no cease global warming, but environmental education focused on the preservation of the environment helps to mitigate, stabilize and live with their demonstrations. These understandings are part of everyday school specific forms, as evocations of examples in program content related to global warming, or heights of projects. This understanding remained in Central Nucleus of social representations of global warming, as opposed to the option and arguments related to human action. Among the categories members of the peripheral system, lack of awareness, extensively linked to human action, was positioned near the central as well as deforestation, category more often, and burned, both accounting for most of the associations of the Central Nucleus reality Amazon. Lacks noteworthy that, like all social representations, the global warming constitute ways of dealing with reality, guiding communication processes, aggregate relationships and strengthen the cohesions of a social group, in my case, consisting of science teachers. These factors associated with knowledge "ecologizados" fragmented and superficial the specifics of global warming can justify improvement initiatives initial training and ongoing, which may be promoted continuously, at school through the pedagogical coordination. Accordingly, in addition to content updates, instigate urges science teachers, respecting and their experiences with the exercise of reflection on scientific knowledge and the media, something that could impact the way we perceive, think and deal with the global warming mentioned by my informants.
