Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Sentimento e subjetividade em Rousseau e nos primeiros românticos alemães(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013) ARAÚJO, Suzane da Silva; CORÔA, Pedro Paulo da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3785172545288511The objective of this thesis is to establish the relationship between Rousseau, Kant and the early German Romantics. From the perspective established by the Third Critique, Kant, we will turn to the works of Rousseau and Romanticism( particularly those of Novalis and Schlegel) to extract these two fundamental concepts, and the feeling of subjectivity. We believe, therefore, to elucidate, through their own works of Rousseau and the early romantics, the true meaning of the notions of sentiment and subjectivity in order to not only recover the true value of such philosophical works, but mainly to show the conscious use of them in determining their positions against the alleged “rationalism” dominant in modern thought.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Sofrimento, conhecimento de si e corpo em Schopenhauer(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013) TORRES, Joel Neres; CHAVES, Ernani Pinheiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5741253213910825This research seeks to explain what constitutes the basis of suffering in Schopenhauer's philosophy, especially, in his magnum opus The World as Will and Representation. From a perspective of nature that mirrors the Will in its contradiction itself, go seek their degrees of objectification until reach the "summit" that presents itself in human consciousness, and through it, to understand that the knowledge produced as an appendix to serve as a help to the inherent complexity of this awareness, actually behaves like a "parasite" thus bringing through the path of individuality and body, a consciousness of anxiety and impotence. We seek to explore the reason of the limitation of this theoretical knowledge that faces the will and, in the other hand, explain how the sentimentality as a way of access to the will, in the body, it is presented as a possible solution to the perception of self, in which, if it works in conjunction with the theoretical knowledge, offers a "better consciousness" against the relentless suffering.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Autoridade e autoritarismo em Max Horkheimer(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014) SILVA, Francivone Rodrigues da; CHAVES, Ernani Pinheiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5741253213910825This dissertation focuses on the analysis of the study by Max Horkheimer on the problem of authority and authoritarianism in this essay Authority and Family from 1936. The constant presence of this phenomenon in social life is treated by Horkheimer within a dialectical and overall view of the history of Western society. The vision of the Frankfurter thinker has strong influence of the thought of Hegel, Marx and Freud in understanding the relationship between individual and society. To further elucidate these concepts, it was necessary a study on the economic issue as a strong link in human relationships as well as a study on the coercive character inherent in the formation of social being. The awareness of the presence of authority and authoritarian character is a requirement that leads human being to learn to face them, as they will never be extinguished.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ciência, religião e ilusão no discurso freudiano: uma leitura filosófica de O futuro de uma ilusão(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014) OLIVEIRA, Lívia Maria Araújo Noronha de; SOUZA, Maurício Rodrigues de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4730551301673902In his book of the 1927 "The Future of an Illusion" Freud tries in a broader manner, support the function of religious beliefs in the human psyche and demystify them as capable of apprehending reality. For him, the psychic origin of religious ideas is the illusion, which is deeply connected with the repression of human desires and the negation thereof, which occurs in civilization. Freud does not intend to examine the truth value of religious doctrines, but states that they, in their psychological nature, they are illusions. It is the adjustment of reality to promote the pursuit of happiness. Freud points out that religion is only one stage of the human evolutionary process. It is noted that Freud was largely influenced by the strong value that positivism had in his time, thus, he defended that the only way to get at the truth was through rationality. Our work aims therefore to analyze the Freudian scientist discourse, in its relation to religion understood as illusion, from a philosophical reading of " The Future of an Illusion " and always taking into account the influence of Enlightenment ideals on the thought Freud and his work.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Do juízo de reflexão como condição para a compreensão do conceito de filosofia em Kant(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014) MENDES, Josimar de Andrade; CORÔA, Pedro Paulo da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3785172545288511; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9104550743944058The overall goal of our research is to ascertain within the works of Kant, specifically in the Introductions to the Critique of Judgment in particular the first of them, we believe that the relationship exists between the judgments - of - reflection and freedom of thought which, in our opinion is precisely what characterizes the essence of transcendental philosophy itself. For this purpose, our research will dismember - up on three occasions we deem necessary: first, we address the historical and conceptual importance of the First Introduction and why this work was considered by many scholars as valuable for understanding the issues presented the Critique of Judgment, and second, to understand under what conditions the judgments - of - reflection are based within the Kantian system and why such a judgment can not add anything about our knowledge of nature, since it does not demand define the phenomena, as with judgments - of - understanding, but understanding the way in which the subject is affected by the same independent of any logical and conceptual relationship, thirdly, try to identify other writings of Kant the relationship that exists between metaphysical pure philosophy and trying to understand why they, despite not constitute as a doctrine in philosophy system, are essential for the formation and validity of all our objective knowledge about nature.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A genealogia filosófica em Nietzsche e em Foucault(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-06-10) NASCIMENTO, Ronaldo Luiz Silva do; BARROS, Roberto de Almeida Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4521253027948817Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Os princípios e limites metafísicos do estado jurídico em Kant(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-11-11) CARDOSO, Victor Moraes; CORÔA, Pedro Paulo da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3785172545288511This dissertation sets in a bibliographic research, of an analytical, critical and reflective nature about an epistemological universe that encompasses the principles and metaphysical boundaries of the Legal State in Kant, which addresses the rational grounds, as immutable and universal archetypes, of the Legal State, from what Immanuel Kant teaches in his Doctrine of Right. With this guideline and considering the misinterpretations of the fundamental principles of law, preliminarily, outline some divergent conceptions of the said project, which are 'rejected' in the course of this dissertation. Then it explains the role played by reason in the theoretical and practical purposes, with the aim of fixing the locus occupied by a Moral System in Practical Philosophy. This system consists of two subdivisions, namely Ethics and the Law. Thus, it is established law as a practical science, with its concept. And yet, it discusses the theme of freedom, which pervades the entire path taken in the development, its relation to practical reason, as well as the distinction that exists between will and freedom of choice. These considerations allow subsequently characterize the law, but without forgetting to distinguish it from the Ethics. Also can explain the principle and the universal law of the Right as criteria of legitimacy and justice, law and principle that refer to freedom of choice within which coercion is presented as an analytical element. The accountability is another issue addressed, which presupposes the idea of freedom, whose absence would deprive the law of all meaning. Thus, it follows the private law, arguing it until reaching its premise, whereby it is possible to get right on any object outside the freedom of choice. It examines, instead, the institutes of Private Law, say, the Right in rem, Personal rights and the Personal Rights of in rem character. Is entered, then, the Public Law, presenting the Legal State as guarantor of rights that are pre-existing. On this track, going up to the formal requirements of the State, which is the tripartition of powers and their relationships. Other points for the Legal State are also addressed, such as citizenship and its relationship to state power, the alleged right of revolution, the duty to reform the Civil Constitution, the Right to Punish. It is noteworthy that try to overcome a difficulty that is not addressed in any written consulted: the accountability of public officials. However, the shape of the Legal State is also addressed. Moreover, spin up some lines to individual and social rights and their relationship to the fundamentals of law. Anyway, after all trodden path, it appears that Legal State is a duty imposed by practical reason - an end in itself which runs from metaphysical principles - ones who can offer us an unchanging model and irreplaceable State.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Nietzsche e pessoa: um diálogo trágico entre filosofia e literatura(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-11-24) BATISTA, Francisco Lobo; BARROS, Roberto de Almeida Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4521253027948817This study seeks to approximate two of the biggest critics of modernity, Nietzsche and Fernando Pessoa, from themes that are common to them and, in general terms, proposed a dialogue between philosophy and art, more precisely, between philosophy and literature. From the literature reviewed, we can say that Pessoa was an involuntary nietzschean who search for in the subjectivity criticism, in metaphorical language understanding and in the image of the child, the overcoming of metaphysics. In this way, Nietzsche, a deleuzian perspective, worked with several conceptual characters and, though not as radical as Pessoa form, thought from various heteronyms.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Heidegger e a metafísica do Dasein: o acontecimento irruptivo da transcendência em meio ao ente na totalidade(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-12-04) SOUZA, Charleston Silva de; SOUZA JÚNIOR, Nelson José de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7150345624593204The present study aims to delineate the moments in which the problem of transcendence gets a more precise characterization inside the thought of Martin Heidegger. The idea of surpassing of beings towards Being that continually follows the Dasein in its relations with the beings, that is, transcendence, does not serve to qualify what surpasses the man (God, for example), but really a surpassing of the man himself. When Heidegger, exposing his interpretation of Aristotle's concept of time, says that "time is what is beside-of, it is similarly gives an interpretation and meaning corresponding to the meaning of Being, that is, a transcendental characterization, where it is understood as a "besides". The analytical accompaniment of the concept of transcendence will be exposed in two central moments. First, it will be exposed how this problem appears by the light of the themes of temporality. Heidegger outlines a connection between temporality and transcendence, in that the being-in-the-world is the phenomenon in which originally it is announced how the Dasein is, in essence, besides themselves. Moreover, if we aim to show the rise of the metaphysics of Dasein inside Heidegger's philosophical project, it becomes necessary to understand that the protagonism of the problem of transcendence shows up as one of the keys of this project. In the end, it will be showed up how this "phenomenology of transcendence", finally, it is constituted through the ways of the problems of the foundation and the freedom, trying to show how the metaphysics is a fundamental event in the Dasein.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Transcendência, liberdade e mundo: como Heidegger estrutura o Ser-aí a partir destes conceitos no final dos anos 20(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-12-05) SOUZA, Diego Gessualdo Sabádo de; SOUZA JÚNIOR, Nelson José de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7150345624593204The objective of this dissertation is to point as Martin Heidegger presents, and his late texts of the 20s, the concepts of transcendence, freedom and world, and how, from these concepts, it structures the being-there. The theme of this work is based more precisely in the texts Introduction to Philosophy, Essence of Human Freedom and Metaphysics of Logical Reasoning, making some inroads in the text Metaphysics of Fundamental Concepts: finitude and solitude world and sometimes alluding to Being and Time. These five works of Heidegger we find a structure of Being-there where Freedom and Transcendence appear as the essence and the very foundation of this one, the Self-ai, as a being in the world forming world. Our project was divided into three stages, in Chapter 1 shows how the concept of transcendence permeates the late 20, in chapter 2 the concept and thematizations Heidegger on freedom are linked to the concept of transcendence, and finally, in chapter 3, Heidegger's understanding of the world is presented completing the structuring being-there's like being in the world, from the entanglement and belonging of world and transcendence on the transcendence of self and the world, and in turn belonging of world and freedom, in that transcendence and freedom are presented by Heidegger as the foundation for the possibility of existence of Being-there as being there in the world as being in the world, the clearing of being, as guardian and formed mundo.omo the one being in the world forming world.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A crítica da modernidade em Nietzsche: o último homem e o tipo escravo(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-03-12) HEINEN, Isabella Vivianny Santana; BARROS, Roberto de Almeida Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4521253027948817This research aims to develop a possibility of interpretation of modernity through the perspective of the last man from Nietzsche and its reverberation in the slave type. Considering that, according to the assimilation of Nietzsche modernity, this would translate the moment of uninterrupted relations established mainly through value judgments. Given the above, it puts into focus the motivation for this research: to investigate how the last man presented in This way spoke Zarathustra effectives a philosophical line that takes practice in a modern type and, therefore gregarious, taking full form of Nietzsche’s slave, in The genealogy of morals?. To this end, we intend to analyze the notion of modernity as a process of equalization (leveling) of man, from his major texts, namely Beyond good and evil, whose work Nietzsche seeks to show in detail the face of modernity and its decadent constitution. Similarly, in his book The genealogy of morals, he makes a study of the origin and the forces that influences the constitution of values. Thus, the search becomes important not only for developing a conceptual theoretical analysis of the author, which presents theoretical and philosophical elements that help to think about the issues of modernity, but also because it wants to learn from Nietzsche thinking is to exercise the criticism, as well as the creation of other interpretive positions about the world.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Platão e Diderot: a crítica ao artista(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-10-15) ALCOLUMBRE, Alberto Oliveira; SOUZA, Jovelina Maria Ramos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0475424515288539The aim of this work is, as the text indicates, to present the critique of the artist undertaken by Plato and Diderot. Despite Plato launch his criticism of poetry in The Republic within an ethical-political context; and Diderot, in his turn, in The Paradox of the Comedian, within an aesthetic register, there is an analogous position of the two philosophers regarding the subject. Among many similar points observed between them, we focus our vision into two of them that seemed to us fundamental to such criticism: the notions of pathos and ideal. In both Plato and Diderot one observes that the figure of the artist is always thought of in relation with these notions. Although at first glance, we could be tempted to conclude that, in this relationship, the ideal is presented as an antipode of the passions, we can see more closely that these oscillate: sometimes they show up as a hindrance, sometimes, as a positive reference within the respective critiques; the key to appease this conflict will be temperance (sophrosýne). In view of this, we propose, with this work, to investigate and explain this unstable relationship that one finds in an analogously form in those philosophers.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O que é compreensão na hermeneutica filosófica de Hans-Georg Gadamer(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-10-29) BRITO, Roney Lopes; SOUZA JÚNIOR, Nelson José de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7150345624593204The objective is to show that Gadamer seeks to rehabilitate a subjectivity that is determined and marked by their world. The world reported by Gadamer is historically mediated and interpreted through language. The great gadameiran effort is to overcome the philosophy marked by subjectivity (pure) with the proposal of a philosophical hermeneutics that seeks to rehabilitate the tradition and its prejudices, where the subject is in fact subject.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Arte e intuição intelectual em Schelling(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-11-03) CECIM, Arthur Martins; CORÔA, Pedro Paulo da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3785172545288511The aim of this dissertation is to investigate the relationship between art and intellectual intuition in Schelling from the perspective of his lectures on Philosophy of art and of the System of transcendental idealism. By the conception of philosophy of art as a construction of the absolute in the form of art, we intend to analyze the importance of the absoluteness of the symbolic exposition for the objectivity of the Ideias of Philosophy. Thus, on the side of this absolute way of exposing, art can really exhibit the archetypes of Philosophy through a concrete objet. On the side of intuition, as the sixth part of the System of transcendental idealism shows, this means that the production of the aesthetic intuition is the only form of objectification for the intellectual intuition, which remains doubtful in the theoretical and practical fields. For, there are no empirical objects that correspond to the intelligible objet of this intuition in these two fields.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O Dionisíaco em Nietzsche: da “metafísica de artista” à “fisiologia da arte”(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-11-26) CARDOSO, Sandro Melo Batalha; CHAVES, Ernani Pinheiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5741253213910825The dyonysian is one of the notions that can help a greater understanding of the nietzschean aesthetic. In considering the concepts offered by "artist's metaphysics" and by “physiology of art” as particularly relevant for a discussion about this theme, this dissertation intents to investigate how the notion of dyonysian is approached in the course of Nietzsche’s philosophy, more precisely in the transition from the "artist's metaphysics" to the “physiology of art”. In a first instance, the work demonstrates the relationship between the notion of Primordial-One, the Romanticism, the tragic philosophy and the dyonysian that are present in the first phase of Nietzsche's thought. After that, the study presents and discuss the dyonysian in the greek tragedy. That discussion culminates in a theoretical review about the notion of dyonysian: the monistic conception of Dionysus and the idea of ecstasy as a necessary condition of all art. Thereafter, it is also indicated relevant considerations about Nietzsche´s “physiology of art”. On the one hand, it is highlighted the possibility of a artistic transfiguration of existence by the intensification of the will to power, on the other hand, it is indicated the symptoms of art décadence. In conclusion, the intention here is to show that the notion of dyonysian is essential for Nietzsche to develop his concepction about the tragic art based on the "artist's metaphysics" and it is also indispensable in his aesthetic considerations that appears in his project of a "physiology of art".Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Foucault leitor de Kant: da antropologia à aufklärung(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-11-30) AUGUSTO, Ricardo Pontieri; CHAVES, Ernani Pinheiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5741253213910825We followed three stages of Foucault. readings of Kant's work. From 1961 to 1969 Foucault analyzes archaeologically the relationship between the Critical Project and the Anthropology of Kant, highlighting the emergence of the opening the possibility of confusion between the empirical and the transcendental fields, as occurred later with other thinkers. The opening would have emerged in the Kantian anthropological project when he presented the question "What is man?" With the confusion the man, that was a logical instance in critical project, became an empirical-transcendental double and explanatory principle. From 1970-1978 Foucault genealogically investigated the displacement and articulation between the Critical Project and Aufklärung carried out by Kant in response to "What is Aufklärung?" analyzing and defining his actuality as a new attitude of the man who seeks to become rationally autonomous. Foucault points out in Kant's answer a critical attitude conception that would be close to that he himself formulated starting from the research of resistance to transformations of power relations resulting from state governmentalization control processes, where the ancient right of life and death had been replaced by the government of the conduct of individuals in various fields. From the end of the 70s, and still investigating the Kant’s Aufklärung, Foucault proposes that have occurred in the thought of that philosopher the inauguration of two new philosophical traditions: - the Analytical Truth in the wake of the Critical Project and the Critical Ontology of ourselves in the wake of Aufklärung, to the last one he aligns. In the second tradition Kant, in conflict with the perspective of traditional ontology of being, has proposed a new critical ontology when shifted the epistemological-transcendental question "What do I know?" to "What is this happening?", and bringing to the philosophical-historical field new ontological questions about the present, the individual and the transformation processes of men's attitude. The new critical ontology, as Foucault denominated, is for him the foundation of ethical and political attitude of franking limits, unlike Kant tried to establish formal limits that men could not overcome by individual decision.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Nietzsche e a questão do corpo na modernidade(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-03-30) LEAL, Julie Christie Damasceno; BARROS, Roberto de Almeida Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4521253027948817The present dissertation aims to develop an interpretation concerning the conception of body in Nietzsche, taking into account the perspectival bias and instinctive dimension of whole body, as well as the multiplicity of forces inherent in the investigation of the body. In view of that, according to the assimilation of Nietzsche, the notion of body places itself as conducting wire of his lucubrations, especially because the resumption of such a question demonstrates pertinent for thinking about the body in the course of Western thought, since the concept of ancient Greeks, passing the aesthetic Socratism, Platonism and Christian morality to modernity and its reverberations in relation to nihilism process. That said, it is particularly important to provide a critique of the poor understanding of body erected by traditional philosophy, while emphasizing the appropriation of Platonism by Christian morality, which resulted in the depreciation of the body and degeneration of the instincts and most vital bodily impulses, become sick, a fact that contributed of illness tendencies and belittlement of man in modernity. For that, we intend to analyze the notion of body crossed by the established valuations, both from aesthetic, and moral, cultural and philosophical, especially in the texts The Birth of Tragedy, Human Too Human, Beyond Good and Evil, Genealogy of Morals and Thus spoke Zarathustra, basic to place the question of the body in the dimensions that made possible their rise and decay. In this manner, the dissertation this shows that relevant because it allows the deepening on a question that arises latently in the context of Western thought: body notion, taken from the bias proposed by the German philosopher, as a forces field and conflict in modernity.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Nietzsche, Kafka e o Niilismo: entre filosofia e literatura(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-06-03) ARAÚJO, Raul Reís; CHAVES, Ernani Pinheiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5741253213910825The research aims to analyze the phylosophical term niilism in Nietzsche’s work, from its origin until its developments in the author’s mature thinking. Understanding the decadence process as a niilist, Nietzsche places Socrates as the first thinker of the decadence, that would be perpetuated until the modernity by cristianism, turning the slave type into the model man. We sketch the manner in which Nietzsche aims to overcome this man, by exceeding the values that cultivate him, looking for a healthier new physiopsychological state for the man. To this end, Nietzsche places the will for power at the center of the transvaluation, and the artists as the more capable of creating something, instead of degrade and submit themselves to the value given by the accepted moral. In modernity the bureaucracy receives emphasis in the public functionalism, what inspires Nietzsche to criticize it as another way of leveling and impoverishing life. Kafka then appears in our work as the synthesis of part that Nietzsche understood in his epoch, his diagnosis of the next two hundred years is illustrated through Kafka’s works, that characterize the man as the being sickened by the values which are impossible for him to live or to carry out. For this all the understanding of the artist’s physiology, according to Nietzsche, gives us a comprehension and interpretation of Kafka’s work for beyond its epoch.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Os dois momentos da Aufklärung em Kant(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-08-29) NERY, Regina Lucia de Carvalho; CORÔA, Pedro Paulo da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3785172545288511; MEIRELLES, Agostinho de Freitas; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7826494085324141This dissertation aims to present what the Enlightenment (Aufklärung) to Kant, as he conceives it to distinguish it in theoretical (intellectual) and practical (moral) and how produces the unity of these two moments of the Aufklärung. Therefore, it is based on the booklet answer the question: What is "enlightenment? In reviews and other works that deal with the subject, as well as some of his interpreters: Ernest Cassirer, Michael Foucault and Rubens Rodrigues Torres Filho, presenting the thesis into three chapters: the first, the modern concept of enlightenment in Kant, addressing in general, the modern context and influences that Kant received this context, the English Enlightenment, Newton and Hume and the French Enlightenment, Rousseau recognized by Kant as decisive in the direction of his thinking and his understanding of the Enlightenment (Aufklärung ); in the second, the concept of Enlightenment (Aufklärung) in theory, the works Critique of Pure Reason, Prolegomena and The Progress of Metaphysics, and practical, in the Critique of Practical Reason and the Metaphysics of Customs Grounds; and, third, the unity of these two moments of the Aufklärung in Kant.
