Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Alma de papel: proposta conceitual para um curta-metragem de animação stop motion em devir(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017) RIBEIRO, Brena Gomes; ALMEIDA, Ivone Maria Xavier de Amorim; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5012937201849414In this research, I present a study about the process of creating a conceptual proposal for the production of a short stop motion animation, called Alma de Papel. The various stages of this study include the experience provided by the Curro Velho Workshops, where I got in touch with the techniques and materials used in the proposal. There is also a short description about the history of Animation Cinema, with the contribution of concepts provided by authors whose analyzes approach the symbolic sphere of the history of cinema, as Arlindo Ribeiro Machado for whom the cinema materializes a millenarian movement of "representation of the imaginary", and Edgar Morin that exposes the semi-imaginary reality of man. The research methodology dialogues with the "nocturnal" face of the French philosopher Gaston Bachelard, that is, his "metaphysics of the poetic imagination" and his systematic investigation of the genesis of the poetic image based on the archetypes of the four elements of nature (air, water, earth and air), to which I add one more element (ether), besides including the influence of the Dilatador Elemental device created in the subject Movimento Criador no Ato Teórico, and the values attributed by Italo Calvino to poetry, for the systematization of this study. Sônia Rangel and Cecília de Almeida Salles appear in the investigation to talk about the creation process and its relation with the reality lived by the author. To carry out the present work, I admit, as a primary objective, to demonstrate the connection between the modus operandi of creating the conceptual proposal of a film, that is, the methodological procedures used in its making, and its consequent historical-social context experienced by its creator (s), a context that is fully amalgamated with the becoming of their imaginary.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Atos performativos de uma Bufonaria Matuta: Arte, cura e ancestralidade em Belém do Pará.(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2025-06-30) NUNES, Ana Carolina Marceliano; ALMEIDA, Ivone Maria Xavier de Amorim; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5012937201849414; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8277-5210Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A atriz da diáspora: um estudo sobre a poética-política de Zélia Amador de Deus(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-08-28) BANDEIRA, Maria Ceci Leal; BRITO, Maria dos Remédios de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6896268801860211The following work aims to analyze, using as basis the concept of diaspora of black people's performative body, by Zélia do Amador de Deus, the actress and director's artistic path and her poetic-politic character. The research was divided, aiming to make it possible to analyze its three main characters: Catirina, character from the work Coronel de Macambira, by Joaquim Cardozo (1998); Suely, character from the play Quarto de Empregada, by Roberto Freire (1993); and a nameless character, presented in the work Theastai Theatron. The reflexion that leads the research is done based in feminism as perspective of critical and theoretical analysis for the categories of stratum, genre, ethnicity, as stabilised theoretically by the philosopher Angela Davis (2016) and the battle against epistemicide, line of thinking relocated by the philosopher Sueli Carneiro (2005). By tracing Zélia Amador de Deus' artistic path, it is possible to find a new way to perceive the diaspora of black people's performative body and their descendants by the performative bias that represents the political-socio-cultural crossings that still continue to differentiate this body. Considering that it is a subject that begins in the body and does not detach itself from it, the analysis departs from the body and its main three characters, in order to demonstrate not only the artistic evolution of the actress, but mainly the political and existential development of a black woman in Amazon.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Banda Daniel Nascimento: uma prática musical no contexto sociocultural em Paragominas-PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-12-07) MORAES, Tirsa Lais De Oliveira Gonçalves; COHEN, Líliam Cristina Barros; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0286644614789784This study aims to carry out an analysis about the musical practice of the Daniel Nascimento Band, questioning its relationship with the society of Paragominas throughout its twenty years of existence in which it acquired musical, social and even political position. In this perspective, it will be seen an overview of his musical trajectory, identifying the main impacts of the group on the social, cultural and artistic life of the city of Paragominas, seeking to understand in which ways their musical practice was built. In order to collect information, field research and documentary survey was carried out, working methodologically with authors of ethnomusicology, Seeger (2008, 2004), Blacking (2007, 2000), and memory, Assmann (2016), Candau (2017). Through an ethnography of musical performance, we will see Daniel Nascimento Band growing from "little Band" to "Orchestra" when exercising its function as a catalyst for musical activities maintained at the School of Music by the Municipality of Paragominas through the Secretariat for Culture, Tourism, Sports and Leisure, responsible for the dissemination of music in the municipality's public policies. A Cartography of Disquieted Sociability’s a Theatrical Collective in Belem takes over as creative principle risk up by forked paths, the investigation of daily negotiations this theater collective demands. The researcher knows for breaking initial ways of mapping must create an existential territory between the previous days and the present, to understand the need or not, the existence of home-womb. Its background research, other houses headquarters here recognized as interior geographies where locals and shelters are confused, converging memories, feelings and poetic. As an object, existing dichotomous feelings and residents in both structures (traveler and home). In the midst of the paths in between, the choice of the researcher is to be cartographer of the soul and unrest, walker and resident. When launching the path of poetic thought, discovers the traces of steps left in the boiling asphalt other foot, then it is known accompanied by other hikers in books: Gaston Bachelard saying the most precious, the have and being home; Fernando Pessoa poeticizing that existing restless wanderings in the plans of ideas and life are but a power test turn out to be; Lewis Carroll and Alice as beings who risk the new, all the time; Hilda Hist burning desires and Ítalo Calvino, in this imaginary lines, which depicts and recognizes through the fable, the habitat itself. In the first chapter I talk about the first motivations for working on a theme related to a doll's house. My games with Maria, since she was young, and I discuss the importance of play for children. In the second chapter I deal with a methodological issue, the need to build research based on decolonial thinking. To do this, I try to clarify concepts such as coloniality, colonialism, decolonization and decoloniality. In the third chapter I deal more specifically with the dollhouses that were produced: the first is a replica of the church of Saint Alexandre, representing the role of the church and Christianity in the colonization scheme; the second house is a replica of the Palacete Bolonha, a symbol of the Gomiferous period and the Belle Epoque; the third house is a replica of the mansion where PPGarte operates; and I deal more specifically with the experience of being black at university. In the final considerations I work with the decolonization of curricula. Inserting doll houses in a didactic proposal. Reflecting on the possibility of working with houses in schools based on law 10.639/2003 and law 11.645/08.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Casarão do boneco: experiência de um corpo relacional em um território existencial(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-06-22) NASCIMENTO, Paulo Ricardo do; LIMA, Wladilene de Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4769018199137074In this dissertation, I wrote about an old mansion that is home to a theater group with puppet and shared space of collective work of 37 artists / producers of diverse scenes, recipient of flows of public for aesthetic experiences in common. They are points of view, places to look at. Landscape and subject are confused on crisscrossed platforms in frequent communication. From inside the Casarão do Boneco (Big House of the Puppet), on any of the platforms, I realized that we are facing a peculiarity, a nuance in the relational scope, between the inhabitants, their spaces, the various artistic languages, the public and the city. There is an intense habitation, which causes movements with / in the Casarão do Boneco, which rearranges reality before power for ways of relating. Casarão seems to present its own qualities, components absorbed in the overlapping media that differentiate it in divers aspects and in the lines of escape, together they are dimensioned to a becoming-expressive territorializing. The gardening practiced by the logic of the forest, based on the maintenance of life for the diversity and abundance of its own resources, is the metaphor for the cultivations of its understanding. We follow some clues of the cartographic method of Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari and his rhizomatic thought. We glimpse the various places that define and make the Casarão a unique place, a single body being defined by the relations established between three blocks of force: its habitants, their spaces, their movements. A body, as Deleuze observes the body defined by Espinoza (2002), composed of an infinity of particles, which is elaborated on the relationships between velocities and slowness, rests and movements of these particles. It is not defined as form, but as an interactive force. A body composed of other bodies, such as the cosmogonic idea of the person marubo, or even animated such to the doll that had become a character for the manipulation of so many actors. This scene is composed of a superposition of various musical genres that includes multiple spaces of interaction and collective experience where groups experience different types and forms of sociability and intersubjective peculiarities in a given cultural context. For understanding the formation and path of this scene, the three artists from Pará focused ethnographic clipping - Roosevelt Bala, lead singer of the band Zona Rural; Markinho Duran, solo artist and Bruno Rodriguez, lead singer of the band Reggaetown, being the rock, pop and reggae their respective musical genres. The investigation covers the intersection of theorized under the marketing bias with the production in the musical field. Three were locals selected for field research: Mormaço Bar and Art, Old School Rock Bar and Templarios Bar and restaurant. Investigate how articulates the artistic practice with the dynamics of Pará's capital night market, under an ethnomusicological perspective, is the main goal of this research. The study touches points of confluence between the processes of production, circulation and consumption of music, guided by the analysis of the aspects of social life and cultural analysis of the music, he was determined to reach, at the end of this process, a form of appreciation and recognition of the quality of local music production and cultural diversity of our State and, consequently, bringing not only contributions to the field of ethnomusicology, as well as the artistic medium.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Concerto de câmara para clarineta em si bemol e orquestra de Vicente Alexim: uma abordagem interpretativa(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-06-01) LOPES, Thiago de Araújo; CHADA, Sonia Maria Moraes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1004865944722134Vicente Alexim is a young Brazilian clarinetist, composer and arranger highlighted in the national artistic scene and abroad. He is the author of works for clarinet, piano, soprano, chamber and symphony orchestra. His Chamber Concerto for Clarinet in B-Flat and Orchestra composed in 2008 is the object of study of this research. From a technical point of view, this work presents several twentieth-century techniques to the soloist, such as frullati, glissandi, multiphonics, a well as a dense orchestral writing. The composer was very careful with the changing character and the organization of technical demands on the piece for the soloist and the orchestra. The main goal of this work is to provide an interpretative design for the concerto utilizing the concepts of Robert Morris on contour theory and structural analysis. A survey of bibliographic sources on the composer, his work and related topics was performed, as well as interviews with the composer and other musicians. There are a few researches in that deal with interpretation of Brazilian works for clarinet, thus this work aims to be a reference for the performer interested in such pieces.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Construindo memórias: produção de álbum objetoartisticográfico ilustrando a vida e morte das memórias de uma família libanesa em Belém(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-01-28) SOUZA, Patrícia Abud; BRITO, Maria dos Remédios de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6896268801860211The present research seeks to understand the affective involvement that a family descendant of immigrants has with their photographs, through the memories that they carry, taking as a support for the artistic work the process of mourning and forgetting. For this, it was necessary to make a historical overview of Lebanese immigration in Brazil and Pará, through bibliographic research and journalistic photographs, in addition to identifying how important the preservation of memories is in a family group. Throughout this research I try to establish a dialogue between authors such as José Alberto Buchabiqui and Assaad Zaidan that deals with Lebanese immigration; Edgar Morin and Henry Bergson who talk about the issue of individual memory, loss of individuality; related to the issue of death, Maurice Halbwachs and Fernando Catroga as the basis for collective memory, already Philippe Aries, João José Reis, Charles Feitosa, Roland Barthes, Maria Eliza Borges, Boris Kossoy, Jay Ruby, Michel Vovelle and Koury deal with related issues funeral customs, including art and the history of photography, Yosef Hayim Yerushalmi talking about forgetfulness; and, finally, how the mourning process can be worked within art, through studies by Hanna Segal and Sigmund Freud.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O coro cênico da Universidade da Amazônia: experienciando uma identidade a partir de um repertório musical(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-06-26) BEZERRA, Joelma de Almeida e Silva; CHADA, Sonia Maria Moraes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1004865944722134The main goal of this research was to investigate the experience of building an “identity” from a musical repertoire of the Universidade da Amazônia’s Coro Cênico, which led to the production of the CD series “Trilhas D'Água”, consisting of a musical repertoire retelling the Amazon musical universe in the language of choral singing. The following issues are addressed: how the change in musical repertoire contributed to the construction of the group’s "identity"; the changes observed in the chorists about the thinking, behavior and the generated sound itself; the academic community that mantains it, as well as the cultural context in which this group is inserted. The dissertation is structured in three sections. The first presents a contextualized biography of Coro Cênico da UNAMA; the second describes the group’s teaching and learning process, and the musical practice is analyzed in the third, considering the social sphere in which the group operates. Bibliographical sources about musical change and identity in the light of ethnomusicology are used . Data about choir practice available in blogs and sites were collected. Moreover, "semi-structured" and "episodic" interviews with the academic community, students from the group, rector and dean of the institution, composers and conductor were done, considering the oral history retold by the agents that build and perform musical practice at the university somehow . It starts from the principle that these agents are the people who hold the basis and conceptions of what the musical practice at the University of Amazonia is about.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Criança de um planeta chamado Combu: modos de aprender e ensinar arte, vida e amor(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-12-21) SILVA, Adriele Cristine Silva da; LEÃO, Ana Cláudia do Amaral; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3091200390689592Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Da lamparina aos refletores: memórias e (in) performatividades em dança de salão de uma artista da Amazônia(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-09-10) ROSA, Edilene do Socorro Silva; BEZERRA, José Denis de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9404514273838260This master's thesis proposes to study the inter-relations surrounding knowledge, cultural manifestations and artistic productions in the Amazonian sociocultural context, from intrafamily and scenic bodily memories through research and experiences with ballroom dancing. The theoretical-methodological route allows one to expand and substantiate analyses based on the field of Performance studies, with Schechner (2003) and Ligiéro (2011); In acts/actions that permeates the concepts of performance and performativity with Galucci (2010) and Lopes (2010); And of the studies of memory, with Le Goff (2003), Asman (2016), Pollak (1992), among others, reflecting on the social, cultural and communicative functions of memory. Thus, this work seeks to discuss the artistic experience with and from the ballroom dance, in dialogue with personal and collective experiences triggered by reminiscing about and observing performances that have presented themselves during the course of our research. In this way, experimentations and experiences derived from investigation have provided diverse practices proferring new possibilities of creation, of art/dance teaching from the context of thought to performing a dance or two, snuggle in a Brazilian embrace, from Invitation made by an artist-researcher in the Amazon.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Delírio em rio mar: paisagem entre a experiência e a partilha(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-06-28) VIANA JÚNIOR, José de Almeida; LEÃO, Ana Cláudia do Amaral; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3091200390689592Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Dinamites dissidentes : construção (re)performática de uma autoetnografia(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-07-07) ROCHA, Raphael Andrade; ALMEIDA, Ivone Maria Xavier de Amorim; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5012937201849414; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8277-5210Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Distopia Neocabana (2021): Ficção especulativa e imaginário nos quadrinhos na Amazônia Paraense(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2025-07-10) MATHEUS, Keoma Calandrini de Azevedo; SMITH JÚNIOR, Francisco Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4369023473293807This research analyzes the theme of dystopia in the comic book AÇAÍ PESADO: Distopia Neocabana (2021), produced in the context of the city of Belém do Pará by the Coletivo Açaí Pesado. Based on the proposition of comics as art and cultural expression, the study investigates how speculative fiction and the theme of dystopia reflect contemporary social, environmental, and political tensions, within the context of the Pará Amazon. The analysis moves in the areas of Arts, Social Sciences, and Technology, exploring the relationship between fictional elements and the critical debate on politics, globalization, and ecological crises; highlighting the way in which the work presents local and global references to construct a dystopian vision of the Amazonian reality. The methodology of comparative literature allows us to draw connections between Distopia Neocabana and other works of speculative fiction, establishing thematic and stylistic parallels with diverse literary and visual traditions. Thus, it reveals how comics operate not only as entertainment, but as a product to reflect on socio-environmental and cultural transformations in the Amazon. With a critical and interdisciplinary perspective, the dissertation inserts Neocabana Dystopia as an expressive work in the contemporary imagination, which redefines the Amazon as a territory of artistic creation and resistance.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) EKOAOVERÁ: um estudo sobre a territorialidade nos processos identitários das Drags Demônias(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-06-20) NASCIMENTO, Juliana Bentes; LIMA, Wladilene de Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4769018199137074Analyze how the city of Belém, as a subjective territory, crosses directly or indirectly the identity processes of Drags Demônias, the cultural group studied here, was the main objective of the research entitled EKOAOVERÁ: A Study on Territoriality in the Identity Processes of Drags Demônias. For that, a bibliographic study was made about the montação with a great emphasis on the theorists Roger Baker and Carlos Figari, followed by a conceptual survey and a review of terms that speak with the montação, including the studies of Judith Butler, Berenice Bento, Anna Paula Vencato among others. To deepen the research, the montação was studied as a method of body alteration based on the study of Renata Kamla on Contemporary Masking. The methodological action was based on interviews with twenty - three artists from the cultural segment, through a structured interview proposal by Maria Cecília Minayo. To finalize the methodological procedure, the data were crossed by the ethnomethodology approach, resulting in crossings of three instances of analysis: personalities, concepts and territorialities. The final analysis confirms the hypothesis that territoriality is directly related to these identity constructions.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) ELF: CONSTITUIÇÃO DA GALERIA DE ARTE DE 1980-1999 E SUA RESSONÂNCIA A PARTIR DE BELÉM (PA)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-03-31) CHAVES, Luena Cordeiro de Souza Müller; BRITTO, Rosangela Marques de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3188863381591509This research proposes to understand the constitution processes of Elf Galeria in the local Art system and its resonances in the formation of collectors and collections of visual arts, in the private dimension, in the period of 1981-1999, in Belém, Pará. For that, we start with the material records of the gallerist and creator of Elf, Gileno Müller Chaves (1943-2006), in order to build his life trajectory associated with the process of constitution and performance of Elf Galeria and his contribution to the system of local art. The research is characterized as a case study of a qualitative nature, a theoretical-empirical approach that has the gallery owner's collections as a primary source, based on documentary research. In the development of field research and bibliographical research, the conceptual axis adopted are studies on memory, based on Maurice Halbwachs and Pierre Nora. I also resort to Ulpiano Bezerra de Meneses, to deepen questions about cultural heritage in the public and private relationship, and to François Dosse for the Biographical approach. A semi-structured interview was carried out with the widow of Gileno Chaves. The resonances were observed from the gallery owner's performance in the creation of the Art Museum of the Brazil-United States Cultural Center. In the final considerations, I present the gallery owner's intention to preserve memories through the production of documents.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Experimento Social Online e Fenômeno Artístico: Uma análise do r/place(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-09-30) BOTELHO, Marcela Jatene Cavalcante; STOCO, Savio Luís; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3206903170798612; OLIVEIRA, Hosana Celeste; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4177178840952700This research aims to understand the following problem: how an analysis of the online social experiment, r/place, can help us utilize the field of the arts to comprehend productions and online phenomena not yet contemplated. For this purpose, the following objectives were established: identify r/place in this 2017 and 2022 editions, trace an analysis methodology for online phenomena, analyze r/place using such methodology and relate r/place with artistic phenomena with peculiar characteristics that puts them on the frontier of formal art thinking. To identify r/place, a literature review about the experiment was conducted, both in his 2017 and 2022 editions, and noted a void of works that studied it, concentrated on the field of arts. As an analysis tool, the hybrid triangular analysis methodology (MATH), was created to understand online phenomena, such as r/place, on three branches: behaviour, as understood under the Artification theory of Ellen Dissanayake, the technique, based on Lev Manovich’s theory on the roles of software, and image, based on studies of art and technology by Stephen Wilson and Christiane Paul. As such, r/place was analyzed following these three characteristics, noting the artified behaviour by its participants, exhibiting the five aesthetic operations as described by Dissanayake, identifying the role of software and technical choices applied by its developers during the event, and how their intentions overflowed to the functionalities of r/place and decisions made regarding software, and the image aspect, understood within the context of digital art as a result of an object (analogic or digital), that suffers from an intentional mediation of software, focusing on the specifics of r/place’s mediation, investigating the imagetic characteristics of the phenomena not as a static picture, but undergoing constant change, in great part thanks to said mediation. Alas, it was established the relation between r/place and two artistic expressions considered by me as on the frontier of the formal understanding of art, the paraense non-architecture known as Raio Que o Para, and pixel art, not as na isolated piece of art, but as an artistic medium, realizing the parallels between r/place and the ways to comprehend said phenomena. The research concludes that the chosen objectives were accomplished, and the analysis of r/place, based on the MATH, can help us utilize the field of the arts to understand online phenomena located yet at the periphery of this area of knowledge opening the possibility to, in the future, apply this methodology to similar productionsItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Fazendo a pele no auto do círio: processos criativos da maquiagem da comissão de frente(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-06-27) VASCONCELOS, Iam Nascimento; SANTA BRÍGIDA JÚNIOR, Miguel de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6889411521648199This research seeks to understand as creative artist-researcher-participant of Auto do Círio the creative processes of makeup of the Front Commission revealed in the spectacularity of this scenic phenomenon of singular dimensions as dramatic courtship.
