Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ações avaliativas em ambiente de ensino e aprendizagem gerado pela modelagem matemática(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-06-25) SANTOS JÚNIOR, Augusto Fergusson dos; CHAVES, Maria Isaura de Albuquerque; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1914620696226334; ESPÍRITO SANTO, Adilson Oliveira do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5870609258842071This study aims to point evaluative actions evidenced in teaching and learning environment generated by mathematical modeling and consolidate them as argument for the use of modeling in educational contexts whether in Elementary School, Secondary School or University. To this end, we used a qualitative research of bibliographic nature consisting in the Experience Reports analysis of teachers who developed Modeling activities in the classroom and whose experiences were published in the VIII National Conference on Modelling in Mathematics Education – VIII CNMEM held in 2013. Since the documents considered dealing with experiences in Mathematical Modelling and not specifically the learning evaluation, we conducted a literature search of the meta-analysis type in order to extract and interpret evidence other than weren’t in the original research focus. For the conduct of the documental analysis, the methodology of the Discursive Textual Analysis was used, as Moraes and Galiazzi (2007), according to which it was possible to fragment and categorize relevant aspects regarding the phenomenon investigated. Data analysis according to the theoretical references of Mathematical Modelling and researchers in the field of learning evaluation pointed out that the teacher whose practices are systematized in teaching and learning environment generated by Mathematical Modelling shows interactive and retrospectives evaluative actions.Interactive evaluative actions indicate that during execution of the Mathematical Modelling activity, the teacher is willing to evaluate the student's knowledge construction, having the opportunity to verify the learning or intervene starting from the need revealed in the students demonstrations. Retrospective evaluative actions reveal that, after the completion of Mathematical Modeling activity, the teacher is willing to evaluate their own practice, in order to judge whether their objectives have been achieved and consider adjustments in their didatic choices to guide future practice. In that way, the Mathematical Modelling process provides teacher actions characterized by the link between teaching actions, evaluation and learning.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Uma agenda de pesquisa para formação docente em educação em ciências: investigando elementos essenciais(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-05-03) MAGNO, Cleide Maria Velasco; ALMEIDA, Ana Cristina Pimentel Carneiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1265908866509687; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9432-2646Based on ideas developed about the role of the teacher and his training, we conducted an investigation on the production of the Graduate Program in Science and Mathematics Education, Institute of Mathematical and Scientific Education, Federal University of Pará (PPGECM / IEMCI / UFPA), With the purpose of knowing, understanding and reflecting on the elaboration of a research agenda for the area of Scientific Education. With this purpose, we produced a panoramic picture of the general production of PPGECM, with the methodological context in which it was constructed, explaining in the works the indicators that delimited the field of research on teacher training; We show the training model (s) and the dimension in which they fit, and we place Science Education with emphasis for the CTS approach. The research was delineated in the qualitative, documentary type approach. The texts were selected by means of the identification of the descriptors "teacher training and conception" in the virtual and printed archives, deposited in the site and in the library of the Institute. For the corpus of analysis, 26 dissertations and one thesis were chosen, distributed in two periods. For the systematization, the data were organized in annual tables, called Integrative Synthesis, from which other analytical matrices were created. To analyze the data, we used the Bardin Content Analysis (2016). The results were presented in two blocks. We conclude, from the first block that there are methodological weaknesses in the productions that need to be worked out, however, the field of research teacher training has shown itself in a process of consolidation in the program. The second block showed that there is an evolutionary continuum referring to the training model, as well as in Education for Citizenship and Science Teaching, used in all productions. As for Education, with a CTS approach, the potentiality of the proposal to change students' conception emerges and self- training of teachers is evident. All these points constitute strong elements for the elaboration of a Research Agenda, however, considering all the aspects necessary for the development of the area, it is important the collaborative participation of all those involved in said program, to make feasible the planning, the development And its implementation of this agenda.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Alfabetização científica através da experimentação investigativa em um clube de ciências(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-03-21) OLIVEIRA, Luana Cristina Silva; MALHEIRO, João Manoel da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7502225344402729; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2495-7806This research presents a qualitative study, characterizing itself as exploratory descriptive research, which was planned and executed with the purpose of analyzing how the Scientific Literacy is developed among elementary students who participated in the Prof. Dr. Cristovam Wanderley Picanço Diniz, from the Federal University of Pará-Campus Castanhal. This research emerged from the researcher 's questions about how science education was developed among students who participated in non - formal spaces of science teaching. Our main theoretical references are Sasseron (2008), Carvalho et al (2009), Carvalho (2013) and Malheiro (2016). As instruments, we use video recordings, photography, logbook and audio recordings. The participants were four students of the fifth grade and four students of the 6th grade. During the analyzed episodes we can observe how the manifestation of the indicators proposed by Sasseron (2008) occurred. The indicators of Scientific Literacy were evidenced in the students' discourses, being considered important for analysis of this study. We realized that they helped to understand how the process of Scientific Literacy developed, as we set out to analyze how the students dedicated themselves in the construction of their knowledge. We observed that the indicators only develop during the course of the investigative activity. However, we found that other skills may emerge during the course of the activity, which are related to student behavior and what they can do during the investigation. In the face of the investigative sequence, we realize how important it is to encourage students to get along with their content, to have more autonomy, to be creative, to get a dialogue and to expose their ideas about what they are observing. For, we note that this incentive is fundamental for the formation of citizens who know how to understand the phenomena that occur around them, in addition, it allows them intellectual advances.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise de metodologia baseada no sistema personalizado de instrução num curso introdutório de eletromagnetismo(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009-02-18) SOUZA, Sandro Aléssio Vidal de; ALVES, Danilo Teixeira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6642002445572793Despite being essential for apprenticeship, the stimulus to the student’s active posture (versus the listener’s one), the respect to the individual learning pace, the formative evaluations and the supply of systematic feedback to the student are frequently outside the classrooms in schools and colleges. A strategy to bring such characteristics to the classrooms is through individualized teaching. One of the individualized teaching procedures most documented and applied is Fred S. Keller’s Personalized System of Instruction (PSI). Intensively used in the 70‟s, thousands of articles were published about PSI, giving vast empirical evidence about its results, which, in general, is superior to other forms of teaching. In spite of that, the application of this method began to decline in the 80‟s. Among the reasons for that, it’s possible to highlight the amount of initial efforts that were necessary to build a course based on the PSI, the possible resistance from teachers and educators due to the change in the teacher’s role from knowledge transmitter to advisor and the necessary logistics to provide a systematic feedback to students. It’s also worth to emphasize that, independently from which factors contributed to the decline in the usage of PSI, its efficiency is unquestionable. At the present work, an individualized teaching methodology based on the PSI was analyzed and experimented in an introductory course of electromagnetism for Physics students at the third college semester at the Federal University of Pará (Brazil). This methodology employed some of the characteristics of the PSI, respecting the features of the subject like the presence of long calculations and absence of tutors. There was evidence that, despite the introduced modifications, the application of the methodology may bring many of the positive results obtained with the application of the PSI.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise praxeológica de conexões entre aritmética e álgebra no contexto do desenvolvimento profissional do professor de matemática(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-11-16) PEREIRA, José Carlos de Souza; NUNES, José Messildo Viana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5188612973174798This study is an autobiographical narrative research that demonstrates the analysis of my praxeologies, in the context of my professional development, as a mathematics teacher. The focus of the analysis falls on the various praxeological conflicts I have faced in the classroom during the elaboration and application of an educational proposal for teaching polynomial operations to students in the 7th grade (1st year of junior high school). In this study my intention was to answer the following question: Which connections between arithmetic and algebra determined my praxeologies during the educational amplification I developed, to teach the addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of polynomials, in the 7th grade of fundamental education? In order to analyze my own praxeologies through the educational proposal I elaborated, I used the Anthropological Theory of the Didactic (ATD) of Yves Chevallard as the main theoretical reference. The analysis I made of my own praxeologies involved the system of decimal numeration, fundamental arithmetic operations, polynomial operations, types of tasks and techniques, the cognitive universe and praxeological equipment. The results show that my personal relations with types of ostensive and non ostensive object sand the types of tasks and techniques present or not in the educational proposal I elaborated, reveal which past and present praxeologies made up the different moments in my professional development as a mathematics teacher. In this sense, before graduation I lived the praxeologies of a lay teacher, during and after my specialization my cognitive universe went through praxeological conflicts, revealing that the institutional subjections shaped my praxeologies for teaching polynomial operations.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O aprendizado de regras matemáticas: uma pesquisa de inspiração wittgensteiniana com crianças da 4ª série no estudo da divisão(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-03-01) SILVA, Paulo Vilhena da; SILVEIRA, Marisa Rosâni Abreu da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3588315106445865In this study, we investigated the learning of mathematical rules in the context of the classroom, emphasizing, primarily, the discussions about language. Our main goal was to investigate the linguistic difficulties, faced by students during the learning of mathematical rules, in particular, the concept / division algorithm. To this end, we discuss, among other things, the theme "following rules" proposed by the Austrian philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein in his Philosophical Investigations. Our work and our analysis were based primarily on this author, who discusses, among other themes, language and their meaning and foundations of mathematics, as well as the reflections of philosopher Gilles-Gaston Granger who analyzes the formal languages. We conducted a field survey that was developed at the “school of pedagogical application” of the Federal University of Pará, in a class of fourth grade. The lessons taught by the classroom teacher was observed and later the students were asked to solve division problems, verbal and nonverbal, followed by a brief interview in which we ask, among other issues, how students solve problems involving the division. In our analysis we highlight some students' difficulties, perceived in observations and in their written records or oral: some students, in its resolution strategies, invent new “mathematical rules". There are still those who "confuse" the contexts in solving verbal mathematical problems as well as the difficulty of understanding the problems that bring implicit information.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Aprendizagem criativa e suas condições favorecedoras em um espaço de educação não formal: uma pesquisa com monitores de biologia no Centro de Ciências e Planetário do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-10-17) SILVA, Kharem Cristine dos Santos; ALVES, José Moysés; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6500775506186127; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1307-1249The present study analyzed moments of creative learning by two Biology monitors from the Science Center and Planetarium of Pará - CCPP and the favorable conditions for such learning. The study was inspired by the Theory of Subjectivity and Qualitative Epistemology proposed by González Rey. In this perspective, one of the desirable forms of learning is creative learning, characterized by the personalization of information, the confrontation with the data and the production of new ideas. For the constructive interpretative analysis of the results of this research, interviews, questionnaires, sentence supplements, informal conversations and observations of the moments of presentation to the public in the biology spaces at the CCPP were used. Motivated to communicate effectively with the public, the monitors creatively learned about the scientific content they needed to communicate (accessing various sources and interacting with colleagues) and to contextualize the content in various ways (with films, themes from the daily lives of visitors, stories from the science, objects available in spaces, subjects from other areas of science). The favorable conditions for the creative learning of the monitors included subjective productions constituted in the social spaces in which they participated, throughout their life trajectories and others produced in the social space of the CCPP, based on institutional values and interaction with visitors, who participated in the subjective (re) configuration of their teaching actions.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Aprendizagens docentes no cciufpa: sentidos e significados das práticas antecipadas assistidas e em parceria na formação inicial de professores de ciências(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-06-08) NUNES, João Batista Mendes; GONÇALVES, Terezinha Valim Oliver; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0496932429575513; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8285-3274This is a research that deals with teachers learning in initial training of future teachers of Science and Mathematics, built through real situations of early practice of assisted form of teaching and in partnership. Investigate senses and meanings that future teachers attribute to teaching experiences in the context of such practices. This is a qualitative research, narrative mode, which is research-action-training, contributing to the professional development of individuals. The locus of this research is the Federal University of Pará Science Club, an initial and continuing training opportunities for teachers that over 36 years, develops work with teacher training and the Children and Youth scientific research in the State of Pará. This research came from the fact that when he was in initial formation process, had a spell at CCIUFPA and to participate in teaching in advance, brought me perception of professional development, however, at that time, I could not explain what had happened to me. Motivated by the formative experience I had, I seek to investigate: i) that senses and meanings trainee teachers working in the UFPA Science Club, attribute to teaching experiences in the context of assisted early practices and in partnership? and ii) learning teachers are built by licensees during the academic activities of early practices assisted in partnership carried out in CCIUFPA? These questions I provided during the survey seek as objective to understand senses and meanings that trainee teachers working in UFPA Science Club attribute to teaching experiences in the context of assisted early practices and in partnership, and identify learning built by licensees during activities academic assisted early practices and in partnership carried out in CCIUFPA. Stay in the field UFPA Science Club should last for one year, and during that year, I accompanied the team in forty planning meetings and sixteen classes on Saturday mornings; this team initially participated in eight subjects, four of which were by the end of the research. These guys helped me build data that has been converted into a document handled by Text Analysis Discourse, which is located, epistemologically, between the analysis of discourse and content analysis. Immersion in the field of texts, built four large emerging categories. These categories were organized in the dissertation into four sections and each was guided by one of the four lenses in my view include the work of CCIUFPA, they are: the group work, the research practice in teaching (used for scientific research work infant juvenile), the organizational structure of teams (the dynamics of working with classes on Saturday, followed by planning meetings (debates, discussions, socialization, reflections and buildings provided by the interactions among peers) and the early practice of teaching (experience to plan and teach classes, before training as a teacher). However, I stress that even analyzing under different lens, they converge and complement each other in early practice, assisted and partnership. in these sections, the subjects speak for themselves, and to publish the senses and meanings attributed to the experience and learning teachers developed throughout the year through assisted early practice and partnership.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Bases para o espírito: Ferreira Penna, ciência e educação na Província do Grão- Pará (1866 – 1891)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009-06-26) DUARTE, Dércio Pena; CHAVES, Silvia Nogueira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9353964127402937Some Domingos Soares Ferreira Penna’s (1818-1888) contributions to science realized in Grão-Pará province at second half of nineteenth century are often referred on issues about the foundation of Museu Paraense de História Natural e Etnografia, because the politician born in Minas Gerais was its idealizer and first director. However, the participation of Ferreira Penna at Grão-Pará’s mid-nineteenth society extended to public instruction, urgent theme at provincial authorities’ discourse. This article develops itself at search to an accord between Penna and educational and scientific discussions at his time. We found Penna’s writings, particularly about public instruction, beyond governmental discourses and other authors’ thinking about it. His texts was analyzed based on content analysis, that permitted us to organize words and expressions in context units and select which were more appropriate to fonts analysis. It conduced to idea that, in Ferreira Penna thinking, the instruction prioritized the people intellectual lightning, specially the poorest one. This need joined it to propose above consolidation of a national identity, whose inexistence was noted for politicians and intellectuality. In this project yet, natural recourses knowledge through natural sciences was indispensable to intelligence light of instruction to young people. Here, science and education converge, because both are utilitarian investments to a wide proposal. Penna’s thinking join to some authors at his time, particularly about education freedom and a supposal defense of republican regimen in detriment of the monarchic regimen, ended at 1889. In spite of his ideas looks like advanced to his time, Ferreira Penna thinking’s austerity in some topics helps to understand the dimension that the changes to instruction were thought, in way that did not compromise the effective social structure.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Clube de ciências da Universidade Federal do Pará: ensino de ciências e divulgação científica: um estudo iconográfico antropológico narrativo(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-08-04) BANDEIRA NETTO, Felipe; GONÇALVES, Terezinha Valim Oliver; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0496932429575513; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8285-3274I seek in this dissertation to analyze epistemological and historical aspects of science teaching at the Clube de Ciências da Universidade Federal do Pará - CCIUFPA. For this, I make use of photographic images of the collection of the Clube de Ciências and the personal collection of teachers and coordinators graduated from this training space. In this research, I begin with my first contacts with photography, which is designed since my childhood in Quilombo de Mangueiras, located in the Ilha do Marajó, in the city of Salvaterra, in the Estado do Pará, until the current moment of this master's research. The problematization of this research occurs through memorialistic reports evoked from photographs of people who lived the CCIUFPA in different times. For the analysis of speeches and images, I make use of relevant theoretical elements that help me in the collection of information and in the construction of data. I seek anthropological theoretical contribution in the thinking of theorists such as Geertz, Campos, Bourdieu, Kossoy, as well as Hine and Turkle to discuss virtual anthropology. As this is a qualitative research in the narrative modality, I take the theoretical perspective of Clandinin and Connelly. For the analytical movement, I make use of the discursive textual analysis of Moraes e Galiazzi. As the research took place during the Covid-19 pandemic, caused by the Sars-Cov 2 coronavirus, part of the interviews were conducted virtually, and to respect scientific limits, I make use of theorists who assist me in this process. The analytical movement made it possible to build two categories dealing with Scientific Initiation and Scientific Communication in the historical trajectory of science teaching at CCIUFPA.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Contos de tradição oral e educação ambiental: uma prática interdisciplinar em aulas de ciências(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-02-15) SANTOS, Diana Gonçalves dos; BRITO, Maria dos Remédios de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6896268801860211; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0478-5285This work was developed with students of 4th year of basic education school Monsignor Azevedo , where these are from the island of Combu. It is specifically didactic interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary character practices, whose claim was to rescue the local culture through tales of oral tradition as well as mobilizing reflexive attitudes about environmental context relating one of the most prominent problems in the medium environment that is lack of water in certain locations. The proposal led us to find several theoretical studies as it relates to the primitive people lived before the Portuguese colonization, amid their beliefs, myths and stories told as well, in studies related to the environment and water resources. It should be noted immersion in field with conversations wheels with the parents of the students to understand the oral narratives that children bring about their local culture in the activities. So the proposal has enabled us to understand that traditional knowledge empower the process of scientific literacy in the various areas of knowledge.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Educação matemática através de interfaces computacionais: o papel de componentes interativos na postura exploratória e na aprendizagem(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008-12-10) PEREIRA FILHO, Silvio Carlos Ferreira; ALVES, Danilo Teixeira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6642002445572793In this work, we investigate the role of interactive components frequently used at educational computer-interfaces design at the exploratory posture and learning mathematics concepts. We selected two components in this research: combo box and text field. From educational perspective these components have distinct role: the former guides the student's choices in exploratory process, the second don’t offer any guidance. In order to compare the role of these components, we have built two interactive interfaces, used by students to explore the graphical behavior of the linear function. Both interfaces are identical except for the components (combo box and field text). The exploratory posture and performance on knowledge test were assessed through data collected by the own interfaces. The exploratory posture was assessed through amount and exploration type with interactive component, this collect was a unique feature of this research allowing us to observe student’s behavior while interactive process instead of before and after interaction. Due the limitation of the tool used to collect data in this research, learning was measured by comparison of performance on knowledge tests applied before and after student’s uses of interactive components. In this context we noticed significant differences at the exploratory posture and development among students in two groups, each one using one kind of interactive component.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Espaços não formais de ensino: perspectivas para a formação inicial de professores(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-07-10) RODRIGUES, Márcio Henrique Simião; ALMEIDA, Ana Cristina Pimentel Carneiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1265908866509687; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9432-2646This paper presents considerations about the use of non-formal spaces for the development of activities aimed at teaching science in the initial years of elementary education. The objective was to investigate the student conception about the use of non-formal educational spaces, and how these spaces, contributes to the initial teacher training process, making use of different teaching strategies. The research has a qualitative approache of participant nature. Three Pedagogical Stepes (presentation of theme, conceptual develpmente and production-evaluation) were used as a teaching strategy, based on Brito’s (2004) proposoal for teaching of science through regional themes. In order to investigate the conceptions of research subjects about working with, in or the non-formal teaching space, questionnaires were given so that the students could report their experiences with the development of the activities. As a culmination of the activities, an Arts Exhibition was held where students presented several productions related to the use of non-formal teaching spaces in the City of Belém/PA. The productions presented at the Arts Exhibition were also analyzed and, according to the results, point to a positive evaluation of the learning of the research subjects regarding the use of nonformal teaching spaces from play activities and teaching through of regional themes. The results point to a good understanding on the part of the research subjects on how to work the non-formal space and in non-formal space, but they have differences on how to work with non-formal teaching space. The considerations show that teaching through regional themes can be a great ally for the development of activities that are related to the use of non-formal teaching spaces, allowing an attempt to escape traditional practices both in the context of initial teacher training, and in Early Childhood Education.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Um estudo sobre as implicações dos obstáculos epistemológicos de limite de função em seu ensino e aprendizagem(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-05-20) MORAES, Mônica Suelen Ferreira de; MENDES, Maria José de Freitas; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4608940740054670The difficulties in mathematics in higher education have been much discussed in several studies in mathematics education. Concerning the calculation, the research points to the fact that the teaching and learning of the concepts involved have many issues that deserve to be deepened. So we have the problem of this research question: what epistemological obstacles are present in the construction of the concept of limit of a real function real values? From the above, we propose to identify the epistemological obstacles (BACHELARD, 1996; BROUSSEAU, 1986) in the construction of the concept of limit real function of a real variable from obstacles listed by Cornu (1983), Sierpinska (1985) and Rezende (1994). To achieve this goal, we use the observation of lessons of discipline Calculus I and questionnaires to collect data that allowed us to analyze the barriers identified by these authors are also present and how they appear in the current student body of our region. The research is focused on the context of the training of mathematics teachers of public HEIs in Bethlehem, more specifically, with students who were attending the course Calculus I, Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA), Universidade do Estado do Pará (UEPA) and the Instituto Federal do Pará (IFPA). The theoretical framework used in this research consists of a historical survey of the concept of limit is fundamental to the identification of obstacles concerning the development of this concept, an overview of research on the teaching and learning of limit, portraying the main difficulties and the different ways to minimize them, and a discussion about the epistemological obstacles identified by other authors. Evidence, with it, the epistemological obstacles are still present among the students. In an attempt to overcome them offer some pointers for teaching limit real function to a real variable, presented in thematic lines, intertwining the assumptions of history and didactics of mathematics.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Exposição museológica transformações: a Amazônia e o antropoceno: objetos de conhecimento e suas relações com o ensino de ciências(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-08-17) FREITAS, Renan Ferreira de; FREITAS, Nádia Magalhães da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2982253212145468; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0042-8640Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) História para o ensino de geometria analítica nas produções de história da matemática do Brasil(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-02-10) MARQUES, Rubens Matheus dos Santos; MENDES, Iran Abreu; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4490674057492872; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7910-1602This research refers to the history of analytic geometry in the productions of History of Mathematics in Brazil, so this research is research type research. For the methodological development we base on the epistemological assumptions of Gamboa (2012), so that it subsidizes the analysis of each identified production according to the research objective that concerns the proposed activities for the teaching of analytical geometry in the research productions centered on its historical and methodological aspects, for its use in mathematics classes exposed in the Brazilian productions of History of Mathematics, within the scope of postgraduate dissertation and thesis level, event annals, education journals and short course books offered by SBHMat in SNHM. To guide the research, we consider the following question: What approaches and contributions emerge for the teaching of analytic geometry in the production of History of Mathematics in Brazil? As results we identified thirty-seven works referring to the history of analytical geometry classified in the research trends in History of Mathematics, namely; History and Epistemology of Mathematics (HEpM), History of Mathematical Education (HEdM) and History for Teaching Mathematics (HEnM) Thus, sixteen productions were identified in relation to the master's level scientific production, twelve related to the works published in the annals of events, three in the journals of the area and finally six short course books were identified. From this finding we elaborate referrals for teachers of basic education from the information contained in the productions classified in HEnM in order to reveal how the approaches presented in the research can be worked in line with the textbook.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Literatura e sexualidade e educação: apontamentos intercessores para o ensino de ciências(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-03-23) COSTA, Dhemersson Warly Santos; BRITO, Maria dos Remédios de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6896268801860211; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0478-5285The encounters with literature, the philosophy of difference and the teaching of sciences mobilized is written, instigated by the problematic of sexuality, a recurring theme in the discipline of biology, however, linked to the morfo / fisio / logical conceptions and the reproduction of the offspring, reproducing the scientific discourse that systematize life into a structure, a unity that rejects variations. Sexuality, enveloped in this thought, runs the path of systematization, fragmentation and generality. Life, however, is not an absolute, sexualities enter at all times in variation, composing other possible. It is questioned in this writing: can sexuality only be problematized by the theoretical lens of science / biology? Is it possible to think of sexuality entangled in other perspectives? Is it possible to experience sexuality unrelated to genitalia? What problems can literature provoke to think of other sexualities beyond biological discourse? What resonates from the meeting between education in science and literature in the debate on sexuality? What intersections are possible? What learning is mobilized by these meetings? Without formative or methodological pretensions, what is wanted is to experiment with the literature of Caio Fernando Abreu (Morangos Mofados, 2015), blocks of sensations that mobilize other forms of becoming-thought in writing, in the body, in sexuality, in life, with the philosophy of difference and then make provocations to the teaching of science.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Modelagem matemática no contexto dos ciclos de formação(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-04-16) SOUZA, Elizabeth Gomes; ESPÍRITO SANTO, Adilson Oliveira do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5870609258842071This research has the objective of analyzing Modeling use in a school system organized by formation cycles, referring to the barriers configuration which were quoted by literature from reflexions and analysis of Modeling in school systems organized by annual levels. We intend to analyze, if those barriers endure or whether they are minimized, if they’re eliminated and whether others still arise in a formation cycles’ school system. Taking in consideration such objective, our methodology was doing a qualitative approach. Datum were obtained through bibliographical readings about topics related; semi-structured interviews; written compositions and oral narrations from the students, attained from Modeling activities accomplished in a Belém city school, organized officially by formation cycles. As a result of data analysis, through these sources, we’ve couched questions, hypothesis, conclusions and suggestions involving barriers configuration, in which the Modeling is used in organization by formation cycles. We verified that the organization by cycles is promising for the use of Modeling in a comprehensive and effective way, in their different forms of materialization, as a result of the official measures that this system disposes of and generates. We show how much these measures prescinds from consolidations and reformulations.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Um navegar pelos saberes da tradição das ilhas de Abaetetuba (PA) por meio da etnomatemática(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-03-05) FORMIGOSA, Marcos Marques; SILVA, Carlos Aldemir Farias da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7226908910873590; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5463-1316; LUCENA, Isabel Cristina Rodrigues de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3255121871351967; https://orcid.org/ 0000-0001-9515-101XThe present work presents the final result of a qualitative research master's thesis developed in the Abaetetuba city (PA), specifically in the region of the islands of this municipality. The motivation for the research came from the author's immersion in a course of initial training of teachers to work in schools in the field that has been happening at the Federal University of Pará – Campus Abaetetuba and serves students from the communities of field regions and Islands roads of five municipalities of the lower Tocantins, Pará State. The research aimed to investigate how the knowledge of coastal tradition can contribute to an educational math education, without which these knowledge are conditioned to a mathematical concept institutionalized at school. The investigation was developed in three, of seventy-two existing Islands in Abaetetuba where we obtained the information through formal and informal conversations among the riparians, recorded in video, audio and pictures as methodological tools, in addition to the record of observations in field journal. Data were analyzed through the Ethnomathematics Program developed by D'Ambrosio (2001), after understanding what are knowledge of tradition and scientific knowledge, supported by authors such as Almeida (2009; 2010; 2012); Cruz (2007); Farias (2006). As well as the contributions of Santos (2003) in breach of some paradigms of modern science, which enabled the author to use Bicudo (2005; 2010) and D'Ambrosio (1996; 1999; 2001) because they presented sharp discussions on teaching Mathematics in Brazil, in addition to reading the National Mathematics curriculum parameters governing the teaching of Mathematics in Brazil. Galvani (2002), in turn, has contributed to important discussions on the training of teachers. In addition to finding in Morin (2010) the Foundation for the pursuit of education educational Math. The survey results indicate that the sociocultural context of Abaetetuba islands has a lot of knowledge of social, political, religious, and production that may contribute to the process of teaching and learning of mathematics in schools. Some of these knowledge go hand in hand with the school knowledge, establishing possible dialogues, especially those that are noticeable when looking at the visual. But, there are other knowledges that go in parallel, not just by the fact of not being easily identified, but because the school consider unimportant, pointing to a hierarchy of knowledge. Thus, there is a need to clarify that knowledge, as much as the school bordering, different as they are, seek to provide answers to the problems of the daily life of men and women.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Oportunidades de aprender sobre pesquisa na iniciação científica júnior de uma bolsista no Clube de Ciências da UFPA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-09-19) SANTOS, Janes Kened Rodrigues dos; ALVES, José Moysés; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6500775506186127After ascertaining the success of undergraduate research at graduation recently, funding agencies have extended the funding of scholarships for Scientific Initiation Junior (JSI). Although little is known the specifics of the teaching and learning in this context. In this sense, the objective of this dissertation was to conduct a case study, following a dyad guiding-advisee JSI over a year, featuring the main opportunities to learn and produce research on the subjective sense and the nature of scientific activity. The teacher-adviser and elementary school student, participated in the Science Club at the Federal University of Pará and had a research project approved and subsidized financially by the Research Foundation of the State of Pará (FAPESPA).The goal the project was to study the use of natural insecticides to control the proliferation of weevils in the corn. Constitute my data through interviews with the participants, footage of orientation meetings and events attended scientific, technical reports they sent to the journal kept by FAPESPA and scholarship. Triangulating the information obtained, described the main activities of the JSI, taking into account the way they had for the stock. Based on this description, to characterize the main opportunities that the student had to learn or producing a subjective sense of research and science. Identified traces of personal growth and interpersonal relationships, development of skills to read, discuss, argue, reporting, and public speaking, in addition to expanding the knowledge of experimental practice. In this experiment, the stock had the opportunity to spell the scientific knowledge as a collective, and contextual process that implies a problematization of previous knowledge and whose decisions must be justified. However, as the knowledge produced in their research was not sufficiently understood or derived from theoretical models, the experience provided an opportunity to develop the production stock of scientific knowledge in an inductive-empirical perspective.
