Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Arte, imaginação e criação com crianças da cidade de Benevides-PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2025-05-15) CALDERARO, Kelly Lene Lopes; BRITO, Márcia Mariana Bittencourt; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3710898379776654The aim of this paper is to reflect on children's paintings and what they can represent in their lives. Specifically, this research involved listening to children's drawings of the territory of Benevides, Pará, and trying to establish relationships with their lives by looking at the concepts of Imagination and Art in childhood. Lev Vygotsky's (2014) Cultural-Historical perspective was used as a conceptual basis, observing that the richer the human experience is culturally, the greater the material available for imagination and creation. Seen from this perspective, the child's imagination would be expressively open to countless creative experiences, considering that, when compared to adults, their repertoire would not be permeated by the marks of experiences that have already been widely experienced. And it is in this sense that the Art, Children and the City project sought this experience of listening, to give children a voice and bring them to the center of the process, in which they can participate in the construction of a territory, since they have a perception of the place in which they live and desires to be fulfilled for this place, demonstrating their sensitivity and affectivity. It is in this sense that we emphasize the importance of looking at both the experiences the child already has and those that are still open. Observing the relationships that are established between the child, art and its creation. The methodology used was participant research. The technique used was to listen to children, through drawings, in four public squares in the Benevides area, with the guiding question of how they see this city and how they would like it to be? Seventy-eight drawings were collected for analysis and construction of the results. In the same way, bibliographical research was carried out in the methodology developed, with the data presented coming from books, dissertations, theses, research published in periodicals and presentations of scientific papers. In order to analyze these drawings, discourse analysis and Vygotsky's approach to Art and Imagination were used. It is hoped that this research, together with other studies, can contribute to the academic field, as well as giving greater visibility to the importance of listening to children, their desires, ideas and dreams, through Art and Imagination.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Crise econômica mundial: infância e adolescência na análise dos documentos do Unicef(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018) AGUIAR, Lucas Fadul de; CRUZ, Edson Júnior Silva da; PEDROSO, Janari da Silva; LEMOS, Flávia Cristina SilveiraThis article had as goal to investigate the historical production of childhood and youth in several countries affected by the global financial crisis that ecloded in 2008 at the United States. Too often associated with wandering and delinquency, poor childhood is seen as a threat to society, and it is an uncomfortable object to look at because it gives visibility to a disturbing side of our social reality. This paper proposes that we focus on the way in which childhood in an exception state was represented by cinema. From Luis Buñuel's “Os Esquecidos” and François Truffaut's “Os Incompreendidos”, we will try to understand how child poverty is given to us, while questioning the role of cinema in the exercise of resistance against the phenomenon of invisibility of poverty, as well as the range and limits of our reaction to the images we projectItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Infância e promessa: notas baseadas no pensamento de Theodor Adorno(Faculdade de Educação da Unicamp, 2018-12) SANTOS, Patrícia da SilvaBased on the thought of Theodor Adorno, this article aims to relate the concept of childhood with those of civilizational process and education. In view of the main diagnosis of the so-called “critical theory” of society – i.e., the one of the interlacing between myth and enlightenment throughout the process of development of the Western civilization – the intention is to demonstrate how childhood, through its specific dynamics, can be seen as a kind of promise that beckons to the possibility of a “right life” amidst the understanding that “there is no right life in the false one”. This reflection should also serve to point out some consequences of the perception of childhood in the Adornian idea of education.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A infância em processos judiciais em Belém do Pará: um estudo discursivo sobre o caso do menor Manoel dos Santos (1905)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-12) CORRÊA, Liliane da Silva França; SANTOS, Darlene da Silva Monteiro dos; SILVA, Gercina Ferreira daThe objective is to analyze childhood and criminality in Belém do Pará from the discursive statements of the judicial process of the minor Manoel dos Santos, convicted of disorder/vagrancy, in 1905. For this, we selected two objects of study: 1) The testimonial narrative “Why are you so sad?” by Marta Nehring, published in 2014 and; 2) The fictional narrative Homelass boys, by Luiz Puntel, published in 1988. We use testimony studies as a theoretical framework (SELIGMANN-SILVA, 2008, 2001); memory (SARLO, 2007; BASILE, 2019); testimony literature (MARCO, 2004; SELIGMANN-SILVA, 2003; LUQUE, 2003); exile (SAID, 2003; VIÑAR; VINÃR, 1992; ROLLEMBERG, 2007; BIROL, 2017; MONTAÑÉS, 2006); and utopia (SZACHI, 1972). We found that the selected narratives present a set of characteristics inherent to the children's exile experience, among them, the understanding of exile as a utopian place, a space of freedom, survival and resistance to authoritarianism in states of exception.
