Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A formação para a cidadania em discursos de professores de física(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006) ALENCAR, José Ricardo da Silva; BRITO, Licurgo Peixoto de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5100592138044970We investigate the speech of physics teachers about the citizen formation. This formation has been become as an important Educational Goals for the last years. The Educational Laws and Parameters and the Researches in Scientific Education have been focused to the formation of citizens. Such characteristics are in the school speech and they are influencing the protagonists of the educative practices. Thus, we investigate on teachers' conceptions and proposals about the Formation for the Citizenship. We reflect on its ideas over teaching physic focused to scientific literacy for all citizens, thus, we bring as subject in this investigation the speeches of professors of Physics. So, we choose three teachers' Physics with criteria that they are concerned with the innovation of this discipline. Thus, such teachers had been interviewed and, from their speeches, we use as methodology the Qualitative Analysis of Text. We use this methodology which took us to the debate of aspects as the conceptualizations that the teachers have about citizenship, the relationship they infer between the teaching Physics and the scientific literacy, as well as of factors that influence or could influence for a transformation in the way to conceive a Scientific Literacy. So, we can infer: the Physics is conceived by the teachers as an important factor in the life of a citizen: they believes that there is an intense relationship between the contextualized scientific knowledge and the formation of critical sense of the citizen and express positions that are scientifically and technologically informed; there is an approach between the speeches of these teachers and the one in the Education Documents and new Parameters in Scientific Education; the inefficacy of initial formation of these teachers for teaching practices what makes impracticable proposals and alternative strategies to the citizen formation. Thus, based in our analysis, the results of this research in takes us to infer that for an effective implementation of the Scientific Education focusing scientific literacy in high schools, a turn point, by the professors, must be did: the rupture with Traditional Education and a epistemological and pedagogical turning of the Physical Education. Moreover, to include in teaching physics the formation for praxis citizen based in scientific and ethical knowledge, as well as the daily citizen practice of express opinions and action in society.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) Acessos e barreiras à cidadania: as Organizações Sociais e as novas formas de gestão do espaço público nas cidades paraenses(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-08-11) BAENA, Silvia Cristina Pereira; TRINDADE JÚNIOR, Saint-Clair Cordeiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1762041788112837; BAHIA, Mirleide Chaar; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6052323981745384; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7168-2019The growth of the urban population is still a recurring problem that has serious impacts on cities, revealing a sharp contrast through socio-spatial and environmental transformations, which generates a process of territorial segregation. After all, urban growth does not necessarily come with better conditions of access to urban land. In addition, changes in the socioeconomic scope have redirected the management of cities and imposed models and parameters so that metropolises are readapted in order to make them more attractive. This scenario has also been repositioning the role of the State in the production of the city, especially with regard to new forms of management, which involves incentives beyond conventional public management. In this sense, this work aims to analyze the advances and limits of the management and planning model implemented by the public-private partnership between the Government of the State of Pará and the Pará 2000 Social Organization, in public spaces in Belém (Hangar, Mangal das Garças, Estação das Docas and Mangueirinho), from the point of view of citizenship and universal access to the service offered. This thesis starts from the criticism of political administration, which intends to think about public management from a critical perspective in accordance with the method of interpretation of historical-dialectical materialism, of a qualitative-explanatory nature. For data analysis, a triangulation strategy was adopted (interviews, documents and systematic observation), while, for categorization, a logical matrix on the topics raised, using the technique of content analysis. From the data collected, systematized and analyzed, it was found that the State, when using the management model implemented by the public-private partnership in the latter, as a result of neoliberal policies of its management reform project, strategically uses such partnerships in the with the aim of promoting the strengthening of the market, based on a corporate government, moving away from a conception of social justice with a socio-spatial development perspective, which allows universal access for the population. On the contrary, these partnerships, by providing, through contracts, the right to exploit services in exchange for financing and maintenance of the structure, made it possible to understand that the subversion of the criteria for providing the public service, from the importation of economic logics mercantile, with the prerogative that the private sector exercise more effectively the provision of services, depoliticized the relations between the State and citizens. So much so that, with this new reality, in which the company’s congruence, advocated by society’s policy, is universalized, the citizen is now seen as a consumer. In this way, priority is given to the dimension of efficiency and financial return. Therefore, new elements are observed, which make it possible to understand how the strategies, peculiar to the process of diffusion of the capitalist mode of production and free competition, advance in society from this new neoliberalist reason, which has transformed capitalism by establishing a set of policies, rules, norms of conduct and practices, as well as social control mechanisms that expand its influence in the world. This reality has guided nations and their governments, companies and subjects that regulate their actions from a subjectivity structured in the entrepreneurial logic.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) Aqueles que merecem a opinião pública: justiça de paz, cidadania e mobilização política nas primeiras eleições no Grão-Pará (1827-1841)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-09-25) MOURA, Danielle Figuerêdo; RICCI, Magda Maria de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4368326880097299This thesis is devoted to studying the relationship between the first elections for representatives of the justice of the peace in Grão-Pará and the Cabano movement. Its scope ranges from 1827, with the regulation of this position, until 1833, when the third election for this position took place since its creation and which preceded the Cabano movement. The in-depth study of correspondence between municipal councils, judicial authorities, and provincial presidents, especially those concerning municipal elections, has proven that blacks, indigenous people and mixed-race people mobilized around local elections and assumed important positions in the legal and civil administration of towns, parishes and places in Grão-Pará between 1828 and 1834. It is demonstrated that despite the set of laws inaugurated with the 1824 Charter not extending many of its benefits to this segment of the population, the reality was quite different, since the appropriations made by the new legal devices informed daily struggles for expanding citizenship. This thesis argues, therefore, that the Cabano movement was born out of ethnic and political conflicts that had as an important stage the elections of lay judges. The experience of political mobilization, both in their election, deposition and acclamation, was in constant dialogue with a repertoire of new laws and a constitutional and liberal vocabulary, and was therefore fundamental to the emergence and diversity of dynamics of the Cabano movement. Finally, it is shown that the discussion raised by the Cabano movement in the Court in Rio de Janeiro, about the need to defend an idea of “order” and “civilization”, contributed to the arguments of the “lawyers” for the review of the justice of the peace, which culminated in its national reformulation in 1841.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Bolsa família em Ananindeua: estudo de caso de devolução do benefício(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-08-29) SOUSA, Ivana Augusta Brito de; PONTES, Reinaldo Nobre; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8577276734482884This study aims to understand the phenomenon of voluntary return to the conditional cash transfer "BolsaFamilia". This study is based on the critical-dialectical theory, uses the categories of social policy, social work, empowerment / autonomy, citizenship, income transfers and poverty. The method adopted is dialectical, from which the case study with in-depth interviews will be adopted. The data were processed through content analysis that consists of "an investigation technique that aims at objective, systematic and quantitative description of the manifest content of communication" from systematic and objective procedures to describe the content of the messages, indicators (quantitative or otherwise) that allow the inference of knowledge concerning the conditions of production / reception (inferred variables) of these messages and the quantitative aspects of the method. The BolsaFamília program has brought benefits to the target audience, the volume of information leaves no doubt, however the cases studied indicate that the return of the benefit of this program did not occur spontaneously, but stimulated without that beneficiaries were effectively emancipated. Thus there was voluntary but lock cancellation, guidance and induced output. Some families were detected by the program system and were automatically blocked because they are nonstandard income to continue receiving the benefit; others were detected at the time of re-registration. As for this shutdown, the positioning of the people interviewed was divided between those who understood that still needed a lot of money to continue the improvement of their lives; and those that have not even request the shutdown of the spontaneous coordination of the program form, agreed with institutional procedures, because they understand that other needy people need the opportunity generated by this policy.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) As "Bonecas" da pista no horizonte da cidadania: uma jornada no cotidiano travesti em Belém (PA)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2003-06-06) FERREIRA, Rubens da Silva; SIMONIAN, Ligia Terezinha Lopes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6620574987436911The present work is a study on the travestytis that live of prostitution in the streets of Belem, state of Para, Brazil. The venal activity that guarantees the sustenance to them admittedly is practiced in the avenues Almirante Barroso and Assis de Vasconcelos, located respectively in the Marco and the Campina’s boroughs. These public ways function as two important corridors of traffic of vehicles of the city, being therefore ideal to trottoir them. The empirical data collected through interviews and field notes had served to the intention of knowing the reality where these professionals of the sex live, which consolidates as hypothesis the idea that their androgynous appearance turns them citizens socio-devaluated with direct implications in their citizenship. It is revealing in this direction, the lack of public politics to this social segment in a way that they fit in the homosexuality concept, especially while a more generic category to explain the desire and the love among people of the same sex. Both in national and local levels, it is possible to verify attempts of implementation of public politics in the form of antidiscriminatory laws that aim not only to benefit gays, but also to the lesbians and travestytis, however these social categoris have been target of resistances of contrary parliamentarians to the advance of the citizenship of these citizens. Among others things, it was evidenced in this direction that the construction of the citizenship for the travestytis in the city is dependent of the performance of the Homosexual Movement of Belem (HMB) in the political mobilization towards rights, as they are not organized such as occurs in other Brazilian capitals. Therefore, one understands that there is a lot to advance regarding social and civil guarantees, so these androgynous citizens, popularly known as "dolls", in fact and through right can become citizens.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Brasil, mostra tua cara: as (in)visibilidades estatísticas de LGBTQIAP+(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-03-12) MATTOS, Marcos Fabrício da Costa; LUCENA, Bruno Rafael Dias de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0451524747464562This dissertation brings to light the relevance of discussions on the dynamics and understanding of LGBTQIAP+ identities in their multiple daily lives involving gender relations and sexual diversity in the Brazilian socio-political context. It is a study based on the 1988 constitutional premise, which states that it is the duty of the state to promote the well-being of all, without prejudice to origin, color, age, or any form of discrimination. Its importance is therefore justified in three respects: a) Social, since the issue of promoting citizenship for vulnerable populations is a current debate in various fields, pointing to constant transformations and, consequently, advances and setbacks in Brazilian society over the last thirty years; b) Academic, since research related to LGBTphobia is of the utmost importance to encourage studies on the practice, delimitation and analysis of this type of violence, as a way of confronting all types of violence and prejudice, making a great contribution to scientific, social and political circles and, based on this understanding, it was also observed that there is still no debate on Organizational Management related to the LGBTQIAP+ population in the PPGAD/UFPA database, making the work unprecedented. c) Institutional Practice, since it can help in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of policies, as a conquest of rights for LGBTQIAP+ people in the country. In view of this, the research was mainly dedicated to qualifying the citizenship of this population, understood in the concept of Human Rights, with the aim of making it a reality, using statistical indicators generated by organizations, in this case the IBGE, as a possible instrument for the effectiveness of current policies carried out by the Brazilian state. Therefore, understanding that the problem of discrimination permeates the intersectionality of various social markers that make up Brazilian society, the study sought to answer the question: What is the importance of adopting the terms "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" in government instruments for the dynamics of public policies for LGBTQIAP+ people? To achieve this goal, the methodological approach was qualitative research, as well as a systematic and bibliographical review of the themes necessary for critical and constructive interpretation in terms of identifying the political and identity processes of the movements and the violations of their rights. It also used documentary analysis of the activities conducted regarding public policies in Brazil, in the legislative, judicial, and executive spheres from 1992 to 2022. The results led to an eminently historical observation and recovery of the memory of the struggles of the LGBTQIAP+ movement and the particularities of its achievements, through programs, plans and policies implemented in the aforementioned period, presenting themselves as advances but at the same time not so effective, with many failures and moments of setbacks. Another piece of evidence is the mismatch between government institutions when it comes to dealing with and resolving LGBTQIAP+ demands. Therefore, during the research, it became clear that in contemporary Brazil, there is no official data on this population, which are important tools for legitimizing citizenship and guaranteeing rights. Therefore, as a final product, this highly significant research is presented as a contribution to the present and future debates on issues concerning the LGBTQIAP+ population in Brazil.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Caminhos feitos de água, conhecimento e cidadania: educação em ciências numa escola ribeirinha(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-12-19) SILVEIRA, Mara Rubia Ribeiro Diniz; GONÇALVES, Terezinha Valim Oliver; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0496932429575513This work tells the practical research developed on the pedagogical one of education in sciences lived and constructed together with operating educators in the basic education of the School They are São José of a riverside, situated community in the Ilha Grande in the city of Belém. The group works in the urban periphery, specifically in Terra Firme neighborhood, in Belém, Pará state. Their work consists of audiovisual production that circulates on the internet as well as citizenship actions directly in the outskirts of the city. Such work is based on the logic of popular, alternative, community communication, since it is carried out in and for the peripheral neighborhoods and communities from Belém, aiming at social awareness and social change. The group‟s work has become a reference in the city‟s political and educational fields. Thus, this research goal is to inquiry the configuration of Coletivo Tela Firme‟s communicative practices in the outskirts of the capital of Pará. The hypothesis raised in the investigation is that the group‟s activism in the communities where it operates in is intended to stimulate and promote political and social engagement among those who live there, mainly to contribute to their citizenship rights enhancement. Hence, it is proposed in this study a process of mapping and analyzing their videos and the actions they have done in Belém peripheral neighborhoods, either on their own or in partnership with other movements and organizations engaged with political and social struggles. The theoretical standpoints that support our research are based on Peruzzo (2009), Gohn (2010), Gonczevski and Martin (2011), Pinsky and Pinsky (2013), Mouffe (2013). Coletivo Tela Firme‟s work began in social media which, according to Castells (2005), Lemos (2006) and Primo (2013), are platforms that favor political and social participation processes, as much as they contribute to the articulation with other resistance movements. To carry out this study, the master's thesis approach is based on bibliographical and qualitative-descriptive research, mainly informed by content analysis, as well as interviewing, to reach its objectives, among which identifying citizenship alternatives in and for the urban periphery through Coletivo Tela Firme‟s communicative practices.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Constituição cidadã e representações sociais: uma reflexão sobre modelos de assistência à saúde(2010-12) SILVA, Sílvio Éder Dias da; RAMOS, Flávia Regina Souza; MARTINS, Cleusa Rios; PADILHA, Maria Itayra; VASCONCELOS, Esleane VilelaThis article presents a reflection on the meaning of the terms citizenship and health, addressing the Theory of Social Representations as a strategy for implementing and evaluating health care models in Brazil. It is about participant research, in the modality narrative, with objective to register and analyze the actions and the register of the characters of the research. Six activities with the objective of collect data to answer the problem proposal in this investigation were planned. These data had been registered trough film, writing from the students and writing from the research-teacher. In the analyzes of the results, it is conclude of the environment proportionate by the CTS Trend and by Mathematical Modeling, trough the experimentation, are necessary for formation of a differentiated teacher, who wants to give meaning to the learning of his future students, because in the speech of these perceives the necessities that these student have to know other methodologies of teaching / learning in substitution of the Cartesian mechanical methodology that they coexisted during all basic and middle formation. Therefore this work began discussing about the evolution of the scientific method, later about the CTS Trend, the didactic book proposes and the Mathematical Modeling. After that, the experimental activities using theses methodologies proposals. In this direction, is perceptive that these students, future teachers, will former pupils prepared to exert your citizenship, with the aid of the CTS Trend and Mathematical Modeling.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Cultura política na gestão do SUAS: um estudo em municípios de pequeno porte do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017) MARTINS JUNIOR, Severino da Silva; PONTES, Reinaldo Nobre; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8577276734482884This dissertation work has as its title: Political Culture in the Management of SUAS: a study in small municipalities of Pará is a qualitative research, where the methodological procedures used were: bibliographical and documentary research, interviews focus groups, semi-structured interview, participant observation and content analysis. The empirical universe of this research, through the direct contact with four segments of subjects in the context of SUAS distinctly identified, are: Managers; Counselors; Technicians and Users of the Social Assistance Policy of the municipalities of Salinópolis - PA and Inhangapi - PA, both municipalities chosen to be part of the Regional Survey EVALUATING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SINGLE SYSTEM OF SOCIAL ASSISTANCE IN THE NORTH AND NORTHEAST REGION: SUAS meaning for coping with poverty in the poorest regions of Brazil, which is part of the National Survey EVALUATING STUDY OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SINGLE SYSTEM OF SOCIAL ASSISTANCE IN BRAZIL, through this study, we seek to understand the Political Culture implicit in the management process in small municipalities and how, after nearly two decades of implementation of SUAS, understandings, attitudes, and practices in the operationalization of social assistance policy still reflect non-democratic principles of a non-citizen political culture. The reality of the research was to identify patterns of an undemocratic and non-citizen political culture, whose predominant brands are expressed through patronizing, paternalistic, assistentialist, subalternizing and poverty servility practices, which are observed with greater expressiveness, especially in the a municipality where the "first-damismo", occupying the management of SUAS, exercises domination and cooptation in a veiled way, validating the political order, and materializing non-politics, under the "pseudo" caricature of the state.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Desafios, potencialidades e compromissos de uma experiência pedagógica para a formação cidadã: prática CTS construída a partir de uma ilha interdisciplinar de racionalidade sobre reciclagem do lixo urbano(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-03-23) SOUSA, Rogério Gonçalves de; BRITO, Licurgo Peixoto de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5100592138044970The current sociocultural dynamics has led the education to the formation of critical and compromised citizens. The results highlighted some challenges imposed to the subjects involved such as the teaching process centered on the teacher, the organization of time, the adoption of an interdisciplinary practice on a disciplinary environment and the group work. Those aspects indicated the need to be committed with cooperation in the classroom with the establishment of a favorable environment for the cooperation in the classroom, the provide of human, audiovisual and material resources, the leave of the comfort zone and the responsibility with the own learning; besides all the above mentioned, it was also evidenced some aspects of learning potentialized by experience and related to the development of contents relevant to citizenship a such as a humanistic vision, the critical argumentation and the ecological citizenship view.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A educação no primeiro governo de Lauro Sodré (1886-1897): os sentidos de uma concepção político-educacional republicana(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-04-29) MORAES, Felipe Tavares de; COELHO, Wilma de Nazaré Baía; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1035616337472088This work has the theme History of Education and has as its object of research to design educational policy-oriented educational reforms of the first government of Lauro Sodré (1891-1897). Its goal is to analyze the meanings that this concept has assumed in political and educational leadership by those educational reforms - a view that this conception is formulated originally in the Provisional Government (1889-1891), chaired by Justo Chermont, prior to Lauro Sodré. It problematizes the goals and objectives that the design constructed in the politico-educational Provisional Government (1889-1891) takes the reforms mentioned above, ie, what the senses, political and educational, this conception will toward these educational reforms of the first government Lauro Sodré (1891-1897). As a methodology, research documents, using primary sources (documents) and secondary (history), and its articulation with the theoretical. So point the documentary corpus used. It was divided into three categories: official printed documents, newspaper and printed works. Among the official printed documents: Reports and Messages from the President of the Province from 1886 to 1889 and Governor of the State (Lauro Sodré) to Congress on the State of Pará, in the period 1891-1897. The Journal: The Republic between 1886-1897. And finally, the printed works: works of Lauro Sodré, as beliefs and opinions (1997) and Words and acts (1896). For this effort, we used as a theoretical object for reading the proposed here: the concept of organic intellectual Antonio Gramsci (1989, 2001); speech according to Mikhail Bakhtin (1979); educational field in the formulations of Pierre Bourdieu (1982;2003, 2008) and representation according to Roger Chartier (1990, 1991). It was found that the design political-educational investigation has its origins in proposals and criticisms of Republican policy and education in the Empire. These propositions are effective in reforming the primary education of the Provisional Government, the purpose of education, and training of citizens committed to regenerate and the newly proclaimed republican regime, from childhood, as political purpose. In the reforms of government operated in the first Lauro Sodré, the concern is with secondary education and vocational training as well as citizens with workers Para. Thus, we conclude that this political conception of education seeks to legitimize the republican regime in its early stages and the time of its consolidation, seeking, through education, targeting their political intentions.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) A educação para a cidadania global da UNESCO e seus nexos com a formação de professores de educação física no Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-06-24) BASTOS, Robson dos Santos; MAUÉS, Olgaíses Cabral; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0118802077232494; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6012-1432This study is part of the graduate program in education of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), in the line of teacher training: Teaching Work, Educational theories and practices. The participants of this research were history teachers, the principal and one of the educational coordinators of the aforementioned school. The work was developed in four stages, with the cataloging of sources and readings for the theoretical and methodological references that supported the investigation. We carried out semi-structured interviews, with discourse analysis of the teachers from that school. We also collected some documents such as: BNCC, DCEPA, PPP, textbook, school occurrence, to cross this information with the semi-structured interviews, allowing us to build an overview of gender and citizenship discussion carried out by these teachers. Based on the first results of the interviews, we carried out a mini-course of continuing education for teachers, aiming to discuss and expand the perspective on gender and citizenship issues in history teaching. After completing the mini-course, we produced a didactic instrument formed by a set of didactic sequences, one for each grade of elementary school II. With this proposal we seek to bring new perspectives about the protagonism, experiences and challenges imposed on black women bodies, as we observe that it is a discussion little explored in history classes, in general the view that persists is one of submission and slavery.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Gênero e o impeachment de Dilma Roussef: uma análise de páginas de facebook feministas e de mulheres ativistas na Amazônia(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-03-14) CASTRO, Luciana Gouvêa Hage de; AMORIM, Célia Regina Trindade Chagas; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9650931755253248The political process of the impeachment of then-President Dilma Rousseff, the first woman elected to the highest executive position in Brazil, is the contextual framework of the research presented here, which will analyze communications from four Facebook communities run by women from Imperatriz Feminists of Imperatriz - Women and Affinity Forum - Feminist Articulation of Imperatriz), Manaus (Feminism in Manaus) and Rio Branco (Feminist Chat Acre). The temporal analysis was delimited from the three main phases of the process of impeachment, they are: the acceptance of the denunciation by the then president of the Chamber of Deputies Eduardo Cunha; the vote on this case in that Chamber; and the final verdict given by the Senators. As a problem question is presented: How was Dilma Rousseff's impeachment in communicative constructions approached in the feminist / women activist profiles of Amazonian women? The hypothesis is based on the assumption that profile communications, although they have a political activism in the cause of women, did not discuss the gender issue in Dilma Rousseff's removal, there was in fact a silencing with regard to this issue. theme. As a methodology, we start with qualitative research, based on content analysis in the light of Laurence Bardan (2002). These scientific elements will provide the necessary basis for a better understanding of the problem issue and the proposed objectives, based on the discussions about the women's political movement, the feminist movement, citizenship, cyberfeminism and political activism. Thus, the authors who founded the investigation were: Simone de Beauvoir (1949); Judith Buther (2003); Maria Luzia Álvares (1995, 1997; Manuel Castells (2015); Flávia Biroli (2014), among others. This research intends to be a collaboration for a better understanding of the political participation of the Amazon woman in the scenario lived in the impeachment of the president Dilma Rousseff; and in general, the causes of women, who daily struggle for a more egalitarian space in society, especially in the Amazon.
