This is an ethnomusicological work of ethnographic character, in which the theme is developed from the discourses of these residents about a Cordão de Pássaro called Cordão do Azulão that used to happen in those neighborhoods, and that have disappeared forty years ago. The nature of the musical sensibility is discussed mainly from the writings of John Blacking, while the musical ethnography work is based on what Clifford Geertz calls a Dense Ethnography. The study reveals that the social, economic, religious, political, and environmental changes that occurred in the surveyed communities had directly affected its residents lifestyle, which favors that the traditional cultural values, that grant sense to musical expressions like the Cordão do Azulão, to cease to be apprehended by the new generation of residents, making this Cordão to exist only in the memory of the oldest.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Fitas de cetim, papel crepom, flores de plástico... será um “o benedito”? festas, símbolos e identidades no Bairro do Jurunas em Belém do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-03-02) CHAGAS, Eduardo Wagner Nunes; RODRIGUES, Carmem Izabel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5924616509771424; PACHECO, Agenor Sarraf; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5839293025434267This paper presents the results drawn from the observation of the festivities dedicated to St. Benedict in the neighborhood of Jurunas, in the city of Belém of Pará, Brazil. The results show that the training of the Dance teacher in PARFOR has improved 81 teachers in five municipalities (Castanhal, Capanema, Santarém, Marabá, Mãe do Rio), and that the reflexes of this training began to take effect, since, despite not having the objective conditions for the teaching of Arts in the language of Dance, the process experienced during the course influenced the work of the teachers, which has in Ethnoscenology an important entity, since it is associated with popular culture in school activities through work with the body and with the movement in the artistic and pedagogical perspective. Through the narratives of the former students of the Graduation in Dance, concludes that the formation of the dance teacher has evidenced Ethnoscenology and popular culture through the work of the graduates in the schools; however, this is not theoretically reflected in the speech of these subjects. Regarding the use of the narratives, it considers that they were revealing in terms of the pedagogical work that these professionals have been carrying out in the schools in the interior of Pará.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A matinta tem a cor da chuva: ludicidade como estratégia de ensino-aprendizagem para Educação ambiental(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-08-31) DIAS, Maírna Costa; NAKAYAMA, Luiza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3771896759209007Whereas popular culture was established as a colorful mosaic of myths, rituals, values and knowledge, and they, in turn, are often absent from school spaces impeding the formation of critical social subjects and able to appreciate the local culture we recognize in the Amazonian legends (represented in this work by the legend of Matinta Perera) potential rescue tools, recovery and reinterpretation of the Amazon culture. The study had as problem question the following: how are the elements of social memory and pedagogical practices analyzed from the popular education carried out in the TFMP? The research is qualitative in nature, with a social phenomenological approach, with the Terra Firme neighborhood as a study scenario. The data production procedures were constituted from a bibliographical, documentary and interviews (semi-structured and focal group, at different moments) with the research subjects. Thus, we have verified that the TFMP performs in the neighborhood of Terra Firme a work of community museology, which allows visibility of the social memory of the place that is little known, especially, mediatically. We have as results that this Memory Point allows an education for the culture of memory, in which it is emphasized that popular education is made through the culture that emerges from the knowledge of the people, as well as from the social memory.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) “Não brinca com São Benedito”: um estudo antropológico das narrativas nas devoções beneditinas de Bragança - PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-08-11) SANT'ANNA, Elcio; MAUÉS, Raymundo Heraldo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0915136632611666It is a study of the "narrative of Saint Benedict in Bragança festivities - Pará" which indelibly mark the calendar of micro region, more sharply from 18 to 26 December for almost 218 years. During the last two decades, there has been a resuming of actions of pedagogical nature on knowledge whose origin are in old popular dances that started to provide a referential for production of discourses by urban cultural activists who became known for their appeal to “degradation” of identities in a world economically globalized, redirecting participation and consumption of the socalled cultural assets and providing a form of public mobilization that began to (re) assume the streets as referential in the sense of socialization and experimentation as driving energy of accomplishment of a cultural action performatically ritualized. Therefore, this study aims to collaborate with these discussions anchored in the possibility of intermingling among the notions of heritage, ritual and performance motivated by observations of a cultural movement called Arrastão do Pavulagem, which has been performing for the last twenty eight years, and has been consolidated in the annual cultural schedule of Belém do Pará as a moment of esthetic and symbolic (re) creation of the festivity based on performance of musicians, dancers, actors, producers who carry out their actions in an environment, that suggests that it is institutionalized from a sense of participation and experimentation of the place as one of the fundaments of this movement mobilized by different interests, but that, when meeting at this environment, intermingle and performatically elaborate discourses and visualities that operate in the possibility of (re) interpretation of the urban landscape of the Historical Center of Belém do Pará.
