Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A arquitetura dos espaços pedagógicos como instrumento de ensino das ciências ambientais: um estudo de caso realizado em Ipixuna do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-12-05) PEREIRA, William Marques; SILVA, Cléber Silva e; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7673237583688618; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7086-8751The present study was developed in E.M.E.F Maria Pereira Freire, located in center neighborhood, urban area from Ipixuna county, belonging to the northeast of Pará, to a distance of nearly 250 km from Belém, and have as intent come up with adjustments in the architecture of the physical spaces with new dimension for pedagogical environments so that the natural resources can be relished as a way to optimize the teaching of environmental sciences in the basic education. It was suggested to implant a architecture model that seeks to value the environment through the insertion of biophilic design with the creation of learning spaces that use the interdisciplinarity to increase the environmental teaching in the basic education, through the relation of human-nature. Has been shown to this academy department how they can use the rooms inside the school to improve projects that develop environment education, in order to be possible to, in a primary education, search for an awareness of the students and that can be reflected in a more sustainable society. In this analysis was used the action research method, with qualitative-quantitative analysis, between a bibliographic review and data collection and analysis. For the data collection a quiz semi-structured was applied for the teachers. In the matter of the elaboration of the educational environment product, was used specific softwares (AutoCad, Sketchup and V-ray). The process of validation happened with a presentation of project images and the application of the quiz headed to two groups: the teachers and engineering professionals. After the validation, realized that is in complete agreement the implementation of this technical educational product. Subsequently, this product will be suggested to the municipal public administration so that its implementation serves as a pilot project for other schools in the municipality.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Atividades físicas coletivas para a terceira idade: o uso dos três momentos pedagógicos em contextos ambientais(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-05-28) SILVA, José Augusto Baeta e; SILVA, Ronaldo Adriano Ribeiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2020211060475648; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-4974-4620According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO), the number of people over the age of 60 will reach 2 billion in 2050. As a preventive measure against the ills that affect elderly people, including those caused by environmental factors, find-physical activity, defined by the WHO as any bodily movement produced by skeletal muscles that requires energy expenditure. This research aimed to investigate the perceptions of elderly people about the relationships that exist in quality of life, health promotion and environmental conditions. The study was developed with 17 elderly people enrolled and participating in the Extension Program of the University of the Elderly – UNITERCI, on the Campus of the Federal University of Pará, in Belém. As a data collection instrument, a semi-structured questionnaire was used, containing approaches to health, style of life and environment. The work was developed through a Didactic Sequence, using the Three Pedagogical Moments Methodology. The study supported the development of a technical educational product, called “Pedagogical Notebook: didactic sequence of collective physical activities for seniors in environmental contexts”. The results showed that the elderly use their free time in search of activities that bring them personal satisfaction and that they are recognized as practice when seeking quality of life. Another relevant aspect was the recognition of UNITERCI as a welcoming and necessary institution for the lives of elderly people and the importance of outdoor activities as a contribution to health and the preservation of natural resources. Therefore, it is necessary to urgently carry out studies and public policies that can minimize the harmful effects of climate change that interfere with the quality of life of elderly people.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Currículo integrado para a biodiversidade da Amazônia(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-06) BLANDTT, Lucinaldo da SilvaThis article is an exercise that seeks to encourage discussion of the scientific concept of integrated curriculum and teaching and its relationship with the biological and socio-cultural identity of the Amazon, in practice, the biodiversity in the anthropological view, it is clear that this discussion is very broad, and here do not exhaust, just insisted on several opinions that, right, strengthen the importance of the pedagogical practices of the integrated curriculum focused on the spot, and his characterizations special. ! e integrated curriculum is part of a concept of the learning organization that aims to provide an education that covers all forms of knowledge produced by human activity. It is a progressive vision of education as it does not separate the knowledge accumulated by humanity in the way that scientific knowledge acquired by students in their daily lives and cultural relations materials. the relation of knowledge of biodiversity and education needs is applied in the integrated curriculum, thus resulting in interdisciplinary environmental education practices. To be considered environmental education as a social process essential for the formation of the mentality of the citizens of a society, pass up the belief that the school is the ideal space for the socialization of knowledge that is the result of a long process: the relationship of man with nature and with othersDissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A educação ambiental como intervenção na FLONA do Tapajós(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-08-28) GARCIA, Ana Paula dos Santos; SCHMITZ, Heribert; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2294519993210835The Environmental Education’s involvement had development to get specifics conducts for its target, as the Rural Extension. These interventions came from on necessary proper known and technics to groups with intents to create a Quality Live better. The problematic incited in produce the research to notice a great deal of Environmental Education projects in Pará and the Forest National of the Tapajós, but the environments problems are continued and intense. The main focus of this text is the intervention of the Project Health and Smile (PSA), to make an image of environmental education together with traditional population of one community relate to this conservation’s unit. The abstract which conduct this work fix a connection with some categories, how: environmental education, rural extension and participation. And it were review to help the study and having links with interference made about the theme environmental education to comprehend how it happen, how the phenomenon of participation of target come, and the interfaces with rural extension. The study put a fault of order in evidence, the discusses about project’s techniques and their practices, because the fundaments of maintain environmental education are very presents in the interventions until when have the will to realize different action, for example, in a show of circus where stick out aspects of entertainment. Traditionally, similar with what find out in interventions of rural extension this techniques devote considerable “faith” at information and transmission of known to show conduct of ecologically right. And it happens without one problematic process of reality. Those interventions don’t get the changes of conduction hopes, whereas is necessary a series of changes on think and action manners the people, it isn’t get through of known transmission. After all, the techniques’ discusses show to used to the communicate methodologies. They have participation and intervention of the target, it describe a passive participation, conceded and symbolic. Having been the processes required by the techniques and the individuals to maintain illusion of they’re doing the politic e social participation. The majority of activities that the project develops about theme environmental education are environments activities, in the reality. Although, the techniques doing very intentionality to “make education” they continue reproducing the traditionalist connections of education when they become void the conduct norms of deal with the nature, often out of context with the target what is implant in a tend which come been thinking in Brazil, the emptying of environmental education.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Educação ambiental em parques ambientais: análise textual discursiva em dissertações(Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso, 2022-04) PERES, Ariadne da Costa; BRITO, Licurgo Peixoto de; PEREIRA, Marcos Augusto CarvalhoThe state of the art has the function of situating the researcher about the production, research and positions on his object of study, an action that guides the research intentions, in this sense, to investigate research on environmental education in environmental parks linked to education scientific field in the field of Science Technology Society and the Environment has relevance for the construction of an education related to the environment that promotes critical debate, the discussion of the contradictory and positioning in the face of scientific advances and environmental disasters on our planet, for that we made a search in three virtual libraries, the first, “Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations” (BDTD); the second “Bank of CAPES Theses and Dissertations” and finally in the “Portal de periodicals CAPES/MEC”, of the 325 works recovered, only two relate to the selected object of study, one dealing with a pedagogical experience in the environmental park-school relationship and another thematizing the training of teachers to work in environmental parks, in these researches we have the critical conception of education that fosters the debate on science, technology and socio-environmental issues, still emerging from the analysis notes for the training of teachers, with this, the research contributes to the critical debate about environmental education and bequeaths us the need for more research related to science education relating schools and environmental parks.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A educação ambiental na prática docente em ciências em uma escola da rede municipal de Paragominas-PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-09-24) SOUZA, Jamille Silva Rodrigues de; PERES, Ariadne da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5424406285707749; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9228-3690This research presents itself as a qualitative one, which aimed to understand under what theoretical-methodological terms Environmental Education is inserted in the teaching practice of science teachers who work in higher elementary education in a public school in the municipal network of Paragominas. The case study (unique and holistic) was used as a research strategy. This is a research in which data triangulation was based on three sources of evidence: from semi-structured interviews with teachers, from document analysis of the Political Pedagogical Project of the Anésia da Costa Chaves school, as well as from the analysis of the Project Public Green Municipalities with regard to Environmental Education. Data were transcribed and analyzed using Bardin's Content Analysis (2011), in the light of the theoretical framework of currents in Environmental Education by Lucie Sauvé (2005). Four science teachers actively participated in the study. In this movement of analysis, two categories emerged: The look of science teachers on Environmental Education, and The Relation of Anésia school with Environmental Education, which present the results of the meanings attributed to Environmental Education and the different theoretical-methodological perspectives emerging in the dialogues , likewise, brings an understanding of how the school defines and inserts Environmental Education in its different curricular components. From these data obtained, it was observed that the different trainers claim to work with Environmental Education and that the resolutive current is predominant in the way they conceive and practice Environmental Education in this school. Thus, it is notorious that even with educational advances in the municipality of Paragominas, actions are needed that escape the critical educational perspective, which questions the socio-environmental practices and problematize the discourses that underlie these actions, in order to encourage autonomous thoughts in students.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) A educação ambiental por meio da ludicidade: uma experiência em escolas do entorno do Parque Estadual do Utinga(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-09) BAÍA, Maria da Conceição Ferreira; NAKAYAMA, LuizaOne of the main problems of contemporary society is the degradation of the environment. Humanity is facing a big challenge - the preservation of natural resources and consequently the preservation of his own existence. Given this situation, the Environmental Education (EE) is presented as a way to educate more in a comprehensive and complete way. In this context, the “Novo Encanto” Association in partnership with the State Secretary of Environment (SEMA) perform planned actions for elementary school students from public schools in Ananindeua - PA, located around the PAB, with the aim to study the use of the playful as a strategy to sensitize the children of the importance of the place as a space for recreation, environmental reserve, biodiversity and water resources.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Educação ambiental por meio do teatro de floresta: uma reflexão em torno das ações do instituto Amigos da Floresta Amazônica no município de Benevides no estado do Pará(Servicios Académicos Intercontinentales S.L., 2020-12) MATTOS, Josiane da Silva Sousa; SILVA JÚNIOR, Antônio Rodrigues da; CARVALHO, André CutrimIn Brazil, Environmental Education must be seen as an instrument of social (trans) formation, which makes it possible to understand the multiple contemporary complexities of the society-nature relationship and the (re) construction of new social, cultural values, knowledge and attitudes aimed at a symmetry with the environment. In the State of Pará, for about 18 years, the Friends of the Amazon Forest Institute (ASFLORA) has developed practical actions around Environmental Education in elementary and elementary schools in the municipality of Benevides, through a set of integrating activities, with highlight to the forest theater. That said, the general objective of this article is to analyze the actions in the field of environmental education carried out by ASFLORA Institute; in addition, the research intends to demonstrate how the theoretical approaches are configured and, of course, the methods of evaluation of these actions in order to contribute to their optimization. From a methodological point of view, the article assumes a mixed character of investigation, since it involves quantitative aspects by highlighting statistical data of the activities carried out and of students participating in the project; and qualitative, given the inquiries of pedagogical coordinators and teachers in relation to the activities of ASFLORA Institute. The main conclusion indicates that through a more critical Environmental Education, it becomes possible to overcome the paradigmatic “traps” in the most varied educational environments, whose intervention process on reality and its socio-environmental problems end up contributing to an active citizenship, having as main purpose the attempt to reverse the serious socio-environmental crisis that is underway.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Educação ambiental: macrotendências em atividades educativas no Parque Zoobotânico do Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-04-28) BATISTA, Joniele Bentes; PERES, Ariadne da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5424406285707749; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9228-3690Environmental Education (EE) arises from an understanding of the historical social construction of the planet, where it is necessary to change the paradigm that implies both a scientific and political revolution. This study aims to know and understand the political-pedagogical macrotrends in EE present in the practices developed at Zoobotanical Park of the Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi (MPEG). We assume qualitative research, with Content Analysis. The procedures were organized in two moments: 1. Visit to the MPEG Zoobotanical Park and analysis of the documentation object of the study; 2. Interviews with the coordinators responsible for EA's projects and activities. The following categories were established for analysis: vision of the environment, conceptions of environmental problems, political vision and practice/approach. From the analysis, we realized that the political-pedagogical macrotrends of EE present in the pedagogical practices in the Zoobotanical Park of MPEG, appeared concomitantly, that is, in a mixed way, without a consensus of intentionality or theoretical reference. However, a certain dominance was observed for conservationist and pragmatic macrotrends.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Educação ambiental: uma proposta de ensino investigativo sobre mudanças climáticas(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-04-24) MORAES, Josiane Moreira; PERES, Ariadne da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5424406285707749; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9228-3690The present work entitled “CRITICAL ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION: a proposal for investigative teaching on climate change” had as a research question “what do teachers of the 5th year of elementary school express about a sequence of investigative teaching for learning about climate change? This work aimed to understand the manifestations of 5th grade elementary school teachers about an investigative teaching sequence for learning about climate change. For the construction of this research, the teaching proposal on climate change was delivered to the three participating teachers, that is, the educational product elaborated based on an Investigative Teaching Sequence. Teachers were able to assess and analyze the material by answering some questions in an open questionnaire. The empirical material was analyzed based on Discursive Textual Analysis. Thus, four axes of analysis emerged: 1) Vision of Environmental Education and climate change: distancing and approximations with the critical conception; 2) The viability of the teaching sequence: between theory and practice; 3) The teaching sequence and teaching resources: the contribution to teaching climate change; 4) Sequence of investigative teaching on climate change: raising students' awareness of environmental causes. The product, elaborated from this dissertation, was a “Didactic Guide for the teacher” in the format of an investigative teaching sequence, with the objective of raising awareness of climate change from a perspective of critical Environmental Education. The results showed that, according to the interviewed teachers' point of view, the educational product can significantly contribute to the teaching-learning of climate changes in the early years of elementary school.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Um estudo de caso a respeito da práxis da Educação Ambiental na E.M.E.I.F. "Dr. Ulysses Guimarães", Altamira/PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-10-03) RABELLO, Wendell Robério Damasceno; GODOY, Sara Gurfinkel Marques de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3676165040937391Environmental problems and social inequality have been growing at a frenetic pace, mainly as a result of the destruction of the environment and its disorderly exploitation by man. And schools can, in a way, contribute to the implementation of strategies or tools that help people understand a new mentality about preserving the environment, since the school environment in itself is characterized by the ethical and civic training of students, through awareness-raising work. In this sense, the aim of this research is to understand how Environmental Education has been worked on in the school environment at “Dr. Ulysses Guimarães” elementary school, located in the municipality of Altamira-Pa. The research methodology will be based on a bibliographical survey of official data and theories specific to Environmental Education; data collection, through the application of questionnaires directed at students, teachers and school management; analysis of the data collected. As a result of the research, an educational product entitled "Environmental Education Primer for young environmental agents" will be developed, focusing on the environmental training of students so that in the future they can play the role of collaborators and reproducers of actions for the protection of the environment, working on sensitization, environmental education, citizenship and awareness. The Educational Product was tested for five days in the Year 8 A class, and after the application period it was evaluated by four teachers so that it could be validated. The evaluation took place using a Validation Form distributed to each evaluating teacher. At the end, the Educational Product received an E (Excellent) grade and was unanimously approved. There was an increase in the interest of both students and teachers in environmental issues after the application of the educational product. It was a stimulus for both teachers and students, and both committed themselves to building other models of educational products that can help in the classroom and in the teaching-learning process.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Gestão ambiental participativa: um desafio para os gestores do Instituto de Ciências Exatas e Naturais(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-05-29) PRESTES, Maria Ivete Rissino; SIQUEIRA, Gilmar Wanzeller; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3145792580729701A socio-environmental crisis faced by society has become permanent for the development of life in society. Participatory management has been an alternative in the area of public administration, in the participation of the servants in the production of the common good is a measure of the processes of deliberative participation. The research begins to understand the participative management in the university context, the participation of a process of real participation in the administrative processes and managers in the decision making in the educational environment, besides of Exact and Natural Sciences of the Federal University of Pará. The discussion problematized environmental education in new theoretical and methodological bases, as an instrument of conflict mediation in the participatory process, with administrative and academic units as spaces for such mediation. A questionnaire was prepared with 28 open and closed questions, based on Normative Instruction 10/2012. They answered the research TA and Managers, all act in the Institute of Exact and Natural Science. The questionnaire was used as a collection instrument and the data were submitted to content analysis. The results served to outline a methodological profile and the dissemination of environmental education strategies and activities in the participatory environmental management process adopted at ICEN / UFPA. The analysis of the data indicated that the idea of using environmental education as an interdisciplinary tool allied to participatory practice, a priori operationalized aspects of the theoretical approach of human resources management in ICEN / UFPA.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Jornada ao centro da COHAB: pesquisa-ação e ecopedagogia em escolas e conjuntos habitacionais: (experiências no Cerrado e na Amazônia)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-07-31) COELHO FILHO, Nereu Cavalcanti; BARBOZA, Roberta Sá Leitão; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9331256487699477This academic work is a journey to the center of the COHAB program (housing estate). In this journey, popular culture and science tools are used in theory and practice. Urban peripheral landscapes are spaces that reflect the urban geography of popular housing, supported by statistical housing data and the residents' view of their homes. Bibliographical research was carried out on the urban and housing issue in Brazil, focusing on two states: Pará and Minas Gerais, where field surveys were carried out in the housing estates of two municipalities (Bragança-PA and Patos de Minas-MG), in two biomes (Amazônia and Cerrado). In interviews and exchange of sustainable ideas with the residents, knowledge was woven into intercultural collaborations. When researching the housing deficit and the housing program Minha Casa Minha Vida, it was sought to understand how this program was developed in order to remedy homelessness in the country. It was developed action research and ecopedagogy practices, both as means of research, as well as a teaching laboratory for the development of materials and pedagogical methods. Subsequent to the bibliographic study and field research, some possible sustainable solutions for COHAB housing are proposed. Sustainable techniques of Permaculture are presented, which provide a more ecological management in human occupation. There was a practical study of some of these techniques in school space, and with these experiences it was possible to verify that there are many possibilities for creative actions in ecopedagogical education, where different age groups in different spaces (classrooms, squares or streets) can think together about topics related to housing and ecology. All these research processes led to the creation of pedagogical materials and methods, which stimulated ecological literacy and the valorization of ethnobiodiversity. In this journey, it was possible to cooperate and disseminate sustainable techniques, in an academic and popular laboratory that united knowledge in thinking about the "house" and its geographic dimensions (philosophical, environmental and social), exercising collective thinking from scale models and games built and reflected in the COHAB housing study. The journey is a decolonial turn in the dwelling field, space that it is territory and place to educate.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Políticas públicas de educação ambiental no estado do Pará: trinta anos de uma trajetória(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-09) FREITAS, Sandra Cristina SantiagoThis paper aims to analyze public policies of environmental education in the State of Pará, from 1980 to 2010; to point influences of national policies for environment and environmental education; and signalize some contributions from state policies of environmental education in the cities of Pará. This article has been expanded from sociological investigation with an interdisciplinary and dialectic perspective, whose results are presented in the paper titled “Construction of Public Policies on Environmental Education in Belem from 1997-2004, the Academic Master of Education, on the Post Graduate program in the Education Center, at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) in 2005.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Por uma educação ambiental crítica na sociedade atual(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-04) GUIMARÃES, MauroThis purpose of this brief essay is to bring some initial questioning that lead to reflect on some limits and potential of Environmental Education and the transformation of society.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Práticas e ações de sustentabilidade com intervenção pedagógica(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2025-02-06) MIRANDA, Françoise Helouise Costa de; PENNER, Giovanni Chaves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3110276957027781There is a worldwide concern regarding climate change, and in order to find a response to thisthreat, several agreements and conferences are being held around the world. The motivation for the project comes from the difficulty that basic education faces in planning sustainable practices and actions in the school environment. In view of this, we thought of providing solutions so that the proposals could be developed by a public elementary school in the city of Belém-Pará, given that this educational system plays an important role in the dissemination of information and innovation. Therefore, we decided to work in 3 stages within the project developed by the school entitled “Schools of Knowledge and Actions for Sustainability”, to recognize the area, analyze the project proposed by the school, search for existing projects, and establish technical partnerships with the objective of raising awareness in the school community about the responsible use of natural resources, such as reducing energy consumption, water consumption, and creating healthier environments for the school community and consequently for the surrounding population. Based on the visits, meetings held with teachers, school management and observation of the infrastructure characteristics, sustainable actions and practices of the aforementioned project were initiated, as well as the use and adaptations of the methodology of the Environmental Agenda in Public Administration - A3P made available by the Ministry of the Environment were proposed, which did not happen because the school management was unable to involve and encourage teachers in the activities that were carried out with the students, resulting in the interruption of the actions.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Riscos e educação ambiental na bacia hidrográfica do Tucunduba: um estudo sobre o bairro Montese, Belém/PA(Fundação Universidade do Rio Grande, 2020) SILVA JÚNIOR, Antônio Rodrigues da; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro daThis article is the result of a larger research of Master's Thesis and seeks to discuss the risks of flooding and flooding in the Montese neighborhood, Belém/PA, based on hydroclimatic, geomorphological, territorial planning and social vulnerability analyses, identified as factors that cause and potentiate these risks in the neighborhood. It also presents Environmental Education in its critical aspect, understood from a historical dialectical discussion and under the systemic and interdisciplinary approach, as an indispensable focus in the current context of integrated public policies for risk management, in order to highlight its potential in the construction of the process of sensitization and environmental rationality.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Saberes ambientais: diálogos e construção de uma proposta de ensino para a educação em ciências(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-11-27) NONATO, Kelly Maria de Oliveira; CONTENTE, Ariadne da Costa Peres; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5424406285707749; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9228-3690Science teaching for the new times requires more dynamic and political approaches, in which the subject of learning can be brought to continuous reflection human action towards society, nature, science and technology. Before this, arose in me concerns about teaching environmental processes. For the porpoise of researching such process, I aimed to analyze the student´s environmental knowledge, in the final years of elementary school (ninth grade), for judging this cycle as the basis of science education. I present the following question as the research problem:” What are the environmental perceptions or knowledge of the students and how do they conceive nature from such knowledge?” In this way, I seek to highlight the processes of teaching and learning through the transversal theme of environment. In this sense, the consolidation of the research took place through a teaching sequence using different methods, such as poetry, music, cinema and theater, favoring the scientific curricular knowledge process. For such activities, I referenced myself in the qualitative research, in the action research mode, since it favors the construction and emancipation of conscious subjects. In order to analyze the empirical material that emerged, I used narrative research that seeks new meanings forthcoming from the research process voices. To that end, I focused on discursive textual analysis in an attempt to capture new understandings of subject´s voices in light of theoretical references. Thus, two axis of analysis emerged entitled: Environmental knowledge, a real effective awareness: understandings and lived senses; and Environmental knowledge and the construction of consciousness: new experiences and new possibilities. In this last axis, there were unfoldment that allowed the emergence of subcategories of analysis, such as: understandings that relate environmental knowledge to urban improvement and environmental awareness: Awakening to its complexity. By diminishing the corpus of research, it was possible to observe that the mediation process is closely linked to communication, to socializing. In this way, the re-signification of the environmental knowledge, and the reflection on them, are new apprenticeship that take place in the most diverse forms of mediation that long for dialogue, recognizing that the construction of consciousness occurs in the experience with another, first, and thus, enables the formation of subjectivity.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Trote ecológico no campus sede da Universidade Federal do Pará, Belém-PA, Brasil: memória e percepção de um legado(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-06-02) FERREIRA, Maria da Conceição Gonçalves; SIQUEIRA, Gilmar Wanzeller; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3145792580729701VThe Federal University of Pará, created in 1957, located in the Amazon region, bordered and cut by rivers, was installed in 450 hectares of várzea area. Its implantation occurred at the cost of severe loss of the vegetal cover of great part of the designated area, resulting in great transformations in the ecosystem of the region. This study investigates the impacts caused by the Ecological Trot project implemented at the UFPA campus in Belém from 1990 to 1997. The main objective of this project was to contribute to the development of a preservation awareness and belonging to the institution's students. as well as throughout the academic community, with the pedagogical commitment to reforest and recover the soils of UFPA campus areas suffering from vegetation suppression. The project also added the idea of making the students' admission to the university more humane and less aggressive, against the abusive academic trots commonly applied in the country. The research is based on the documented or perceived memory of the project's creators and implementers and the servers that experienced the daily routine of the transformations that occurred from the application of the trot. The subjects of the research were interviewed in two distinct stages: in the first stage were interviewed, through a semistructured form, the implementers of the Ecological Trot that were part of the organizational team; in the second stage were interviewed, through a mixed form, servers that experienced the Ecological Trot. The third step was aerial satellite images of the study area to verify the tree evolution in the landscape, after applying the Ecological Trot. The results of the study showed that the Ecological Trot fulfilled its objective, demonstrated by the increase of densified areas, mainly in the forests and the banks of the Tucunduba Igarapé, which limits the Basic Professional Sector, even with the occurrence of important occasional losses of afforestation of the UFPA expansion need. It was also evidenced that the Ecological Trot became a guiding framework for subsequent actions related to the environment, spreading beyond the walls of the institution and the country. Today, in addition to preserving the tree legacy of the Ecological Trot, the Institution continues to work with other socio-environmental actions and citizen awareness among the academic community, but not forgetting the planting and replanting of new species, providing the academic community with a vast array of objects for research in all areas of knowledge and giving future generations a continuous reflection, in the sense of writing a story more harmonious with nature and the chain of life.
