Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Banalidade e intersubjetividade na arte(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, 2017-07) CASTRO, Marina Ramos Neves de; CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deThis article aims to reflect on the banality of art in its quotidianity. It attempts to question by what social dynamics the common, the banal and the quotidian can come to have artistic value. The answer we seek to build for the question, observes this sensation in its dynamics of sociation, that is, as a bond, as a structure of the collective and experiential character of social life. By understanding the phenomenon as a total social fact, we can say that it is engendered and simultaneously engenders the societal bond in an intersubjective procedure that produces the shared sense.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Caminhos cruzados entre literatura e linguística: um estudo enunciativo da obra “a lei do amor”(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-06) PEREIRA, Fellyp Gabriel de Sousa; FERREIRA, Ítalo Paraguassú de Sá e; SILVA, Claudiene Diniz daThis article aims to analyze enunciative perspective, the work of Mexican author Laura Esquivel (1996), titled The law of love. Our main goal is to show the marks of intersubjectivity in the present work. To do so, we will take based on the theoretical enunciation of Emile Benveniste, as well as contributions Flowers (2008). After the selection of excerpts from works that present brands in the category of person, which indicates the presence of subjects in the text, we analyze these brands, proving the existence of two forms of intersubjectivity: one between the characters and another between author and reader . Thus, the analysis proposed in this article is divided into two parts: the first focuses on intersubjectivity between author and reader, most recurrent in the first part of the book and the second between the character of the work, which besides keeping dialogues among themselves, communicate with the reader.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) As Casas Bahia não entrarão no Amapá. Consumo, política e intersubjetividade(Universidade Estadual Paulista, 2013-08) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deAn unusual subject appeared in the 2010 election campaign in the brazilian state of Amapá: the rumor that, if the candidate Lucas Barreto (PTB) was elected governor, his deputy governor, Jaime Nunes, entrepreneur owner of the largest group of local retail stores Domestilar, will mobilize political conditions to prevent the arriving of new retail groups in the state, particularly the "Casas Bahia", a powerful Brazilian network of retail stores. Bombarded by advertising this group, which is aired on national television, the population converted this subject into a political issue. The article seeks to understand how consumer desire, with its political dimension, is an intersubjective phenomenon in a mediatized society.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Comunicação banal e quotidiano em um mercado de Belém(Associação Nacional dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação, 2022-12) CASTRO, Marina Ramos Neves de; CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deThis article describes an ethnographic research carried out at the Guamá fair, in Belém (PA), during the years 2011 to 2018. The objective was to understand the communicational and cultural processes present in the social interactions of this fair, thus trying to describe the typifications that make up the intersubjectivity of the social subjects who attend it. In this way, these typifications are described and discussed as the social form of a banal everyday life and an attempt is made to think about these typifications through the Heideggerian notion of chatter (Gerede), understood as a communicational-cultural process affected by the banality of everyday life.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Dança, identidade, universalidade: as danças circulares no grupo Mana-Maní, em Belém, Brasil(Universidade Caxias do Sul, 2015-07) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; COSTA, Lucivaldo BaíaThe article takes an ethnographic approach over circular dances developed by Mana Mani, a cultural group from Belém (Brazil). We want to discuss how the circular dances, a booming cultural practice in contemporary societies, contribute to the formation of identity. We discuss, particularly, the production of the empathic social bond as a factor for the constitution of political and ethical references in the identitarian typification process. Accordingly, we look into how the proposed merger between universal and local is inserted among the contemporary cultural practices on hybrid cosmopolitan senses. We also seek to discuss how traditional dances and musicality of traditional Amazonian populations are appropriated by the group and become communal ideals and values and how they produce political and ethical directions and meanings to the to the local, in his dialogue with the universal.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) De que periferia estás falando? Da representação artística à representação social da periferia em escolas periféricas de Belém(Universidade Caxias do Sul, 2013-06) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; FREITAS, Aline Meriane do Carmo deThe article discusses the relationship between social representations and artistic representations, observing the receipt of two video clips, both thematising the periphery, by high school students from two schools in the outskirts of Belém (Brasil). We want to understand how a artistic representation contributes to conform a social representation on the social dialogic process and about the liminality between artistic representations and media representations. The objective is to understand the dynamic role of the central nucleus of the representations, structured, as demonstrated by observation, through the dialogical process inherent to the social experience.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Experiência e intersubjetividade na prática do crossfit: processos comunicativos e estéticos(Universidade Federal Fluminense, 2022-06) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; LIMA, Rebecca dos SantosThe article discusses the communicative and intersubjective processes present in a box of CrossFit - a growing sport practice in Brazil - located in Belém, Pará. From an ethnography of ten months duration, it was sought to understand the socialities produced there and their interactional dynamics, typification processes and the sharing of a common aesthetic horizon. We propose a dialogue is sought between Communication, phenomenology and ethnography, understanding that the observed social relations constitute, structurally, communicative phenomena, present in social life through typifications of values and understandings of reality.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Feira, forma, dom. Assimetrias da sociação numa feira de Belém(Universidad de Buenos Aires, 2016-08) CASTRO, Marina Ramos Neves de; CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deThe article describes sociability processes in a market in Belem, Para state’s capital, in the Brazilian Amazon, seeking to reflect on reciprocity and asymmetry processes present there. The article is the result of an eight-month ethnographic investigation. It’s ethnographic perspective leads to an interpretation and description of social interac tion as intersubjective dynamics. By observing the trading strategies and associations between merchants, customers and other individuals present at the market, we seek to understand reciprocity in its asymmetric aspects and the market itself as a social form. We aim to establish a dialogue with the reflections of Georg Simmel and Marcel Mauss, who in their analysis prioritize the relational dynamics of social reality. Looking into the relations of social subjects within the fair –traders, customers, public officials, among other stakeholders– we seek to glimpse the complexity of the inter-subjective process, reflecting on forms of reciprocity and gift in everyday life of the market.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) As guitarradas paraenses: um olhar sobre música, musicalidade e experiência cultural(Universidade Federal da Bahia, 2012) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deThe article notes the cultural scene built around the “guitarradas”, musical genre of brazilian state of Pará, discussing the socio-cultural and inter-subjective dimension of the phenomenon and realizing how it produces sensible, aesthetic and communicative collective experiences that impacts on the production of identitarian narratives.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Le Discours politique de Dilma Rousseff et les fantomes de Lula: etude sur l'intersubjectivite dans la politique(Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina, 2016-08) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deThe article analyzes Dilma Rousseff's first year of public communication as the president of Brazil (2011). We seek to understand how the agencement between her and former president Lula was produced as a discursive process of construction and validation of a power. In other words, we ask how Dilma's political persona was built while arranging that of Lula. We work this process in terms of intersubjective mediation, trying to understand how this composite set of agentivities, including Lula, the labor party, PT (Partido dos Trabalhadores), and the Brazilian left causes appear, with varying degrees of clarity, according to the context and the opportunity to highlight this new political persona. Thereunto, we observe this space of interstices, this pre-discursive and intersubjective dimension, in which occurs that phenomenon understood by Derrida as the undecidable and which characterizes the pre-symbolic and pre-understanding dimension of the social process.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Linguagem e comunicação em Heidegger(Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, 2014-06) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deThis article discusses the ontological dimension in the Heideggerian category of “talking,” based on which we seek to make an interpretation of communication as a fundamentally intersubjective phenomenon. To this end, we use Heidegger’s Being and Time. We begin by explaining Heidegger’s concept of language, which he discusses in the above cited book, to gain an understanding of this philosopher’s concept of communication. We seek to demonstrate that talking is equivalent to giving ordinary meaning to something: not the encounter, the revelation, of the meaning itself of something, in its so-called ontical dimension, but the meaning present in intersubjectivity, in the shared world, and in the resources of understanding that the individual uses in his interactions with others. Based on this rationale, we seek to demonstrate that philosophical reflections about language and communication should be rooted in the ontology of being-with-others in order to go beyond the bounds of the individual’s metaphysics and of subjectivity in order to gain a deeper understanding of the phenomenon of intersubjectivity.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) A Luta pelo significado: a constituição política do Entremeio (s) no mundo-da-vida(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-07-05) FERREIRA, Rafael Bastos; CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5700042332015787; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9964-8282The phenomenological concept of the lifeworld (Lebenswelt) is the philosophical framework that moves the critical horizon of the thesis and justifies all the problems contained. In general, in addition to punctuating a teleological criticism about his departure from everyday life, based on this vital ground, we submerged towards an investigation that originally unveiled its political dimension. Thematizing the pre-political experience, from a political phenomenology, the problem of the alien world (Fremdwelt) and the home world (Heimwelt) appears under the horizon of a phenomenology of strangeness. The political phenomenon, after all the exercise of “Bracketing”, will emerge a vital space – of speech, interlacing, of the space-between, of action, of acting – which I will call between-mean(s). This foundation has precedents in Hannah Arendt's concept of politics: between-men and between-spaces. My effort, in addition to expanding this concept, aims to investigate the constitutive nature of between-mean(s) from the political experiences of four groups organized politically. So, we started from the following problems: I) how is it constituted or who constitutes it? II) How is it born, developed, and established? III) How are the speeches structured and who holds them? IV) In what way and way (means) do the subjects (politicians) have such access and how is their structure established? V) What are the subjective and intersubjective motivations that lead the subjects to act, “to turn toward”? Three are the “Constitution Stages” that will phenomenologically elucidate these issues. Therefore, the thesis understands that a new beginning of phenomenology was announced by Husserl in “Die Krisis der europäischen Wissenschaften”. This beginning is about a renewal that calls for an effort to establish a phenomenology of the political world, or rather, a phenomenology of the political world (Politischen Welt)Artigo de Evento Acesso aberto (Open Access) Mídia, intersubjetividade e quotidianidade: Etnografia das práticas comunicacionais em uma feira de Belém(Associação Nacional dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação, 2017-06) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; CASTRO, Marina Ramos Neves deThis article describes an ethnographic research with the support of ethnomethodology held on a market in the city of Belém, Pará in two periods: the first one with nine months in 2011-12 and the other one with six months in 2015. Observing the communicational and cultural processes present in the social interactions present in this market, we try to describe the typifications (Schutz, 1967) that conforms intersubjectivity of social subjects who attend there. Along the way, we describes and discusses these typifications as social forms (Simmel, 1999; Simmel, 2006) of a banal everyday life (Heidegger, 1976, Heidegger, 1985; Heidegger 1992) and we seek to reflect on these typifications through Heidegger's notion of iddle talk (Gerede), understood as communication and cultural process accustomed to the banality of everyday life.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Poderia ter sido você: autorrepresentação, dimensão sensível e intersubjetiva da violência no bairro da Terra Firme, em Belém(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-03-25) CASTRO, Jetur Lima de; BRITO, Rosaly de Seixas; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4471773526594200The research presented here aims to understand how the residents of the Terra Firme neighborhood understand the narrative of the mini-documentary “It could have been you”, produced by the collective Tela Firme, after the massacre that occurred in the outskirts of Belém in 2014, which victimized poor young people and mainly blacks. From a perspective of self representation and counter-narrative, the video aims to denounce the insignificance of the lives of the subjects who live in the Terra Firme neighborhood, victims of the massacre, in a deeply unequal and excluding social order. In the world marked by the “tyranny of visibility”, in which the sensitive has become autonomous and has become a sensation, as proposed by Haroche (2008), the mini-documentary has a clear sense of manifestation against this order, seeking to touch the sensitivity of subjects who live in this reality, in order to break with the naturalization of the violence of which they are victims in their daily lives. The research has as its starting point the intersubjective and communicative dimension of the experience in the production of meanings, socially constructed by individuals in different contexts; in this case, the context of urban violence. Of a qualitative nature, the investigation combines participant observation, from an autoetnographic point of view, interviews with residents of the neighborhood, members of the collective that produced the video and mothers of young people murdered in the slaughter. It examines the extent to which they recognize each other and sees their reality projected in the narrative of the mini-documentary and whether it is capable of displacing the look they have of themselves, in contrast to the hegemonic representation that circulates massively in the media discourse. Therefore, what was noticed is that the audiovisual production of “Could have been you” stands out as an instrument of production and discursive positions of the Coletivo Tela Firme in the face of the massacres that took place in the peripheries of Belém in 2014, in which the residents recognize themselves.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) A Pragmática comunicativa em uma feira de Belém(Universidade de São Paulo, 2017-08) XAVIER, Fábio Rodrigo de Moraes; CASTRO, Marina Ramos Neves de; CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deThis article aims to reflect on the communicative pragmatic present on the Guamá market, located in Belém, in the Brazilian Amazon. We seek to observe, from an ethnographic approach, the social movement and the communicative interaction practices of the subjects there, in relation to the dynamics of space occupation and the disposition of the goods sold there. The research evidences the organizational structure in its intersubjective dynamics, and, from this perspective, we observe the development of the idea of place and identification that people develop with this place within aesthetic processes. For this reflection, this article uses studies by the theorist Maffesoli, who addresses locality and social practices in daily life. We also use a study by Schutz to interprete social practices through typification in social structures; also, we use the understanding on social form by Simmel.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Semiotical blues: artifícios da temporalidade nostálgica(Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, 2015) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deThe article reflects on the artifice of temporality in contemporary culture. We start from a “pre-ethno graphic” exploration about ball of nostalgia (baile da saudade), traditional parties present in Belém, Brazil, characterized by remastering of songs the years 1970-1990 and peculiar modes of sociability, to discuss the the persistence of nostalgic sensitivity, structuring the contemporary intersubjective tissue. From a type-ideal, which we call semiotical blues, we seek to understand the structural ele ments of this nostalgic sensibility: the artifice of its narrative temporality, or rather, its temporality as a narrative device. We used as key reference in the conduct of our thinking, the thought of M. Heidegger about everyday temporality, that of J. Derrida on the issue of “metaphysics of presence” and the phenomenological perspective of A. Schutz, in the perception of experience reserves and structures of relevance, present in the intersubjective processes and thus, produces the culture.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Sociedade dos arquivos: temporalidade e intersubjetividade na cultura contemporânea(Universidade Federal Fluminense, 2016-11) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deThe article discusses the concept of archieve in a mediatic and hyper connected society. It starts from the concept of trace, used by Derrida (1967, 1995) to refer to the pre-ontological character of all meaning and aims on an interpretation of that concept by Ricoeur (1985), in his phenomenological understanding of the problem of temporality. With that in mind, we try to think intersubjectivity and the meaning of the debate about the “cohesion to life” in Dilthey (1992a; 1992b), through the trace. We built the idea that the space-time experience, on the media culture and, through them, on the contemporary society, has no reference and is guided by the trace: atopic and achronic, it is also anarchivic. Therefore, this experience opens up possibilities to abolish the submission of thought to an analogical order and thus to reverse the logocentric status of Western culture (Derrida, 1967).
