Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Arte e intuição intelectual em Schelling(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-11-03) CECIM, Arthur Martins; CORÔA, Pedro Paulo da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3785172545288511The aim of this dissertation is to investigate the relationship between art and intellectual intuition in Schelling from the perspective of his lectures on Philosophy of art and of the System of transcendental idealism. By the conception of philosophy of art as a construction of the absolute in the form of art, we intend to analyze the importance of the absoluteness of the symbolic exposition for the objectivity of the Ideias of Philosophy. Thus, on the side of this absolute way of exposing, art can really exhibit the archetypes of Philosophy through a concrete objet. On the side of intuition, as the sixth part of the System of transcendental idealism shows, this means that the production of the aesthetic intuition is the only form of objectification for the intellectual intuition, which remains doubtful in the theoretical and practical fields. For, there are no empirical objects that correspond to the intelligible objet of this intuition in these two fields.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O conceito de ontologia no livro IV da metafísica de Aristóteles(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-09-04) SOARES, Élida Teixeira; CORÔA, Pedro Paulo da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3785172545288511Ontology is a domain that spans the entire history of known philosophy, from the Greeks to important contemporary thinkers such as Martin Heidegger and his ontology of Dasein. But, just as each philosophical system seems to be different from each other, when we try to conceptualize ontology, a certain confusion arises, after all, as we see in Heidegger, he understands that in the history of philosophy, the forgetting of being, that is, of itself, occurred. object of ontology, in the form in which it was conceived. And one of the targets of Heidegger's criticism of the forgetfulness of being is Aristotle, just as Kant also seeks to make corrections to the categorical system with which things are determined. For this reason, we are proposing to study the concept of ontology in Aristotle, focusing our analysis on what he says about this episteme in Book IV of his work Metaphysics. Our objective, with this proposal, is to know whether it is possible to find in Aristotle a precise definition of ontology that guides us in the study of this part of philosophy.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Do juízo de reflexão como condição para a compreensão do conceito de filosofia em Kant(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014) MENDES, Josimar de Andrade; CORÔA, Pedro Paulo da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3785172545288511; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9104550743944058The overall goal of our research is to ascertain within the works of Kant, specifically in the Introductions to the Critique of Judgment in particular the first of them, we believe that the relationship exists between the judgments - of - reflection and freedom of thought which, in our opinion is precisely what characterizes the essence of transcendental philosophy itself. For this purpose, our research will dismember - up on three occasions we deem necessary: first, we address the historical and conceptual importance of the First Introduction and why this work was considered by many scholars as valuable for understanding the issues presented the Critique of Judgment, and second, to understand under what conditions the judgments - of - reflection are based within the Kantian system and why such a judgment can not add anything about our knowledge of nature, since it does not demand define the phenomena, as with judgments - of - understanding, but understanding the way in which the subject is affected by the same independent of any logical and conceptual relationship, thirdly, try to identify other writings of Kant the relationship that exists between metaphysical pure philosophy and trying to understand why they, despite not constitute as a doctrine in philosophy system, are essential for the formation and validity of all our objective knowledge about nature.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Estética e Política nas Cartas de Friedrich Schiller(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-11-26) SOUSA, Alcione Santos de; CORÔA, Pedro Paulo da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3785172545288511The purpose of our research is to analyze the combination of the elements of aesthetics and the elements that are proper to morals or politics, as this is done by Friedrich Schiller in his Letters on aesthetics, translated in Brazil, in a more recent version as: The Aesthetic education of man in a series of letters. In order to realize our intention, we will initially make an exhibition trying to show how we can recognize in the philosophical tradition the concern with this type of theme, which makes us go back to the Greeks. In this way, it is with the tragedyographers that we recognize the association of tragedy with polis, in a horizon that links art and politics as the founder of the moral formation of the Greek man, later promoting, in the Letters of Schiller, the debate about the condition of our knowledge in the field of aesthetics and morals. As we can see, when analyzing the question of compatibility or complementarity between the domains of art and moral (political), from the perspective of the author of the Letters, proposing that the reciprocity between the two impulses - the sensitive and the rational, is unified in the man. We will notice that this possibility is what makes Schiller propose the primacy of aesthetic education for a moral formation with a view to the most natural politics, or without leaps, of humanity. According to Schiller, it is up to aesthetic culture to promote the ennoblement of character, since the attempts of reason alone do not present such satisfactory results for modern man. What causes the formation of the aesthetic state, through which we can find the idea of perfect humanity - as it was once present among the Greeks. In such a way, the educated man, aesthetically, manages to overcome the condition of his nature, by the demand of reason, but without completely losing sight of it, since it only gives way to the moral law, as a kind of game between these two domains. Beauty as freedom in the phenomenon is what sustains and shows that morality is a symbol of good - according to nature - freedom. It is in this sense that the Schiller Letters are founded on the idea that beauty seeks to promote the agreement between reason and the sensitive, unified in man, and makes them a complete being, like their mixed nature. Thus, Schiller establishes a moral education for man initiated by the freedom of art, hence serving the political purpose.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Filosofia da arte e estética em Hegel(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-12-15) PARENTE, Geovani Pantoja; CORÔA, Pedro Paulo da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3785172545288511Our major goal in this study is to indicate the place where it insert the questioning of art developed within the German Idealism, based, for this, on understanding of Hegel about this entire process and their position to the traditional discourse on art and attempts, in his time, to provide a solid background to the debates around this issue of the Beautiful and artistic ideal. An important feature in this process is the fact that it involved problems that affect not only the new fundamental philosophical content, but also the very nomenclature within which the object to be sought. Difficulty persists until nowadays, when is try determine what exactly is "aesthetic", and what comes to be also in the proper sense, "the philosophy of art." The fact is, lying in front of historical circumstances surrounding aesthetics of consolidation as a discipline, and as an autonomous part of the philosophy, the testimony of Hegel proves essential to the subject, therefore, the better guide on those issues in which he try to find criteria defining goals of your subject, which proposes to make in view of the objections at the time are made to the idea that a philosophical approach to art is possible.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Os princípios e limites metafísicos do estado jurídico em Kant(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-11-11) CARDOSO, Victor Moraes; CORÔA, Pedro Paulo da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3785172545288511This dissertation sets in a bibliographic research, of an analytical, critical and reflective nature about an epistemological universe that encompasses the principles and metaphysical boundaries of the Legal State in Kant, which addresses the rational grounds, as immutable and universal archetypes, of the Legal State, from what Immanuel Kant teaches in his Doctrine of Right. With this guideline and considering the misinterpretations of the fundamental principles of law, preliminarily, outline some divergent conceptions of the said project, which are 'rejected' in the course of this dissertation. Then it explains the role played by reason in the theoretical and practical purposes, with the aim of fixing the locus occupied by a Moral System in Practical Philosophy. This system consists of two subdivisions, namely Ethics and the Law. Thus, it is established law as a practical science, with its concept. And yet, it discusses the theme of freedom, which pervades the entire path taken in the development, its relation to practical reason, as well as the distinction that exists between will and freedom of choice. These considerations allow subsequently characterize the law, but without forgetting to distinguish it from the Ethics. Also can explain the principle and the universal law of the Right as criteria of legitimacy and justice, law and principle that refer to freedom of choice within which coercion is presented as an analytical element. The accountability is another issue addressed, which presupposes the idea of freedom, whose absence would deprive the law of all meaning. Thus, it follows the private law, arguing it until reaching its premise, whereby it is possible to get right on any object outside the freedom of choice. It examines, instead, the institutes of Private Law, say, the Right in rem, Personal rights and the Personal Rights of in rem character. Is entered, then, the Public Law, presenting the Legal State as guarantor of rights that are pre-existing. On this track, going up to the formal requirements of the State, which is the tripartition of powers and their relationships. Other points for the Legal State are also addressed, such as citizenship and its relationship to state power, the alleged right of revolution, the duty to reform the Civil Constitution, the Right to Punish. It is noteworthy that try to overcome a difficulty that is not addressed in any written consulted: the accountability of public officials. However, the shape of the Legal State is also addressed. Moreover, spin up some lines to individual and social rights and their relationship to the fundamentals of law. Anyway, after all trodden path, it appears that Legal State is a duty imposed by practical reason - an end in itself which runs from metaphysical principles - ones who can offer us an unchanging model and irreplaceable State.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Sentimento e subjetividade em Rousseau e nos primeiros românticos alemães(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013) ARAÚJO, Suzane da Silva; CORÔA, Pedro Paulo da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3785172545288511The objective of this thesis is to establish the relationship between Rousseau, Kant and the early German Romantics. From the perspective established by the Third Critique, Kant, we will turn to the works of Rousseau and Romanticism( particularly those of Novalis and Schlegel) to extract these two fundamental concepts, and the feeling of subjectivity. We believe, therefore, to elucidate, through their own works of Rousseau and the early romantics, the true meaning of the notions of sentiment and subjectivity in order to not only recover the true value of such philosophical works, but mainly to show the conscious use of them in determining their positions against the alleged “rationalism” dominant in modern thought.
