This work has as its central axis to analyze how the Brazilian judiciary system acts in relation to the prosecution of employers who employ contemporary slave labor on their farms because, in Brazil there is that deep social inequalities existing in our society well reasoned history are also present at the time the court is called to resolve social conflicts. In order to achieve the defined objectives for the research, carried out a literature survey with a view to list the concepts and categories that relate to modern-day slavery, particularly as regards the legal procedure of the judiciary. Thus, in order to strengthen the findings observed in theoretical proceeded documentary survey by the Federal Court of the County of Marabá.
