Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Diálogos com a metrópole: um estudo antropológico sobre moradores da ilha do Maracujá em relação de proximidade com Belém (PA)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-01-31) BASSALO, Terezinha de Fátima Ribeiro; SILVEIRA, Flávio Leonel Abreu da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1972975269922101This thesis shows the results of an ethnographical research did with the locals of the Maracujá island, focusing on their proximity to Belém City and having as locus an area that begins in the Açaí Port, located in the Jurunas District in Belem and goes up to the Maracujá island, enphasizing in this relation aspects concerning the daily movement between the banks. The approach of the research develops the notions of flow and border, pointing out also the fixity in the home place. Both, fixity and movement are embodied in everyday life, observed in the corporality that mediates the dialogue- while complex game - between the banks.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A música e a cidade: práticas sociais e culturais na cena da canção popular em Belém do Pará na década de 1980(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-08-11) MOREIRA, Nélio Ribeiro; COSTA, Antonio Maurício Dias da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2563255308649361The dissertation discusses the development of practices of sociability and a network of commitments among members of an art world (BECKER, 1982) made possible in popular song, as well as forms of cultural production and circulation of such goods in the city of Belém do Pará, Brazil, understanding it as a frontier area ( HANNERZ, 1997) in the eighties. For this, I turned to the musical scene category (STRAW, 1991) as an input for socio-cultural analysis of these occurrences. This is an anthropological study of a historical theme (FREHSE, 2005; SAHLINS, 1999) which is divided into three chapters. The first, entitled "An expanding city and its musical culture in process" presents a characterization of the transformations of the urban scenery of Belém do Pará in the early 1980s and the foundations of a scene of popular song. Thus, two key events are studied concerning for the formation of this music scene: the Feira Pixinguinha in Belem and Projeto Jayme Ovalle. The second chapter is named “The production of identity by song discursive practices of popular music artists in Belém in the 1980s”. The focus in it is the relationship of place with the making of the song and its meaning, the idea of a song as the object-value, the formation of the association of musicians called CLIMA and a study of some emblematic songs of the eighties scene. The third chapter, "Practices of sociability and ‘places of Popular Song’ in Belém do Pará eighties" studies social spaces of popular song as places where they produced and consumed to that cultural commodities and place to artists and audiences this musical mode in the city - such as bars, theaters, concert halls - in the characteristics of the urban environment. Also, it presents a view on the song festivals and recordings as cultural commodities as projeto (VELHO, 2008) for the category to the artists of music scene.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Entre Quilombos: circuitos de Festas de Santo e a construção de alianças políticas entre as Comunidades Quilombolas de Salvaterra - Marajó - Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-09-26) LIMA FILHO, Petrônio Medeiros; CARDOSO, Luis Fernando Cardoso e; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9240601863315295; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9384-1498This study is an interpretation of the associations involving holy parties and political alliances between maroon communities located in the municipality of Salvaterra - Marajó - Para, based on ethnographic research conducted in maroon community of Bacabal. These maroon communities are: Salvá, Mangueiras, Caldeirão, Bairro Alto, Pau Furado, Bacabal, Santa Luzia, Providencia, Deus Ajude, São Benedito da Ponta, Siricari, Boa Vista, Paixão, União/Campina and Rosário they have in common besides conducting and participating in some of the other parties, also the fact they are the same self-defined remaining quilombo communities and are fighting for recognition and titling of their territories. To interpret the relationships between parties and political alliances, the study takes the gift paradigm or paradigm of the alliance and the association proposed by Alain Caille (2002) as the main theoretical framework. The parties in this study are interpreted as gifts that move between communities to create stronger bonds, bonds of trust and loyalty, and political alliances between them.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A festa de São Pedro na Vila de Joanes, Ilha de Marajó, Amazônia(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-08-26) RAVAGNANI, Luis Ricardo; SILVEIRA, Flávio Leonel Abreu da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1972975269922101The Joanes Village is a fishing village in the municipality of Salvaterra, in Marajó Island (PA). Historically it was an indian village and then a religious and military settlement gained importance and prominence in the local economy as a Real Fishing. The town has the historic site PA-JO-46, which consists of the ruins of the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary and wells of the colonial period marking the changes in time. Fishermen stand out as a craft group recognized and valued in the village for the economy that moves through them and the culture they share. In this work the look was focused on the "Feast of St. Peter" or "party of fishermen", as it constitutes a means of representation and sociability of the group of fishermen. Through ethnographic method tried to describe the different rituals that make up the party and understand the sociability of relations established between organizers and participants. I believe that the party is an important experience in people's lives and social groups and that through it we can understand and explain the various dimensions of society: politics, religion, kinship, work, leisure and economics, like “total social fact” (MAUSS, 1974).Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) UIPP TERRA FIRME Um modelo inovador de fazer segurança pública? Análise das propostas e práticas desenvolvidas pela primeira unidade integrada pro paz no estado do Pará.(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-04-20) TEIXEIRA, Deyse Soares Da Silva; MOURA, Edila Arnaud Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2154370107837866; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0093-8464This dissertation describes and analyzes, from a perspective of social policies and the actions of government, as it was designed Unity Pro Integrated Peace Upland, Belém / PA, the first unit in this model, as a unit that promotes safety public acting from the community policing doctrine and how is acting in relation to its original proposal which is the crime prevention. From reports of neighborhood residents about the perception of decreased crime occurrences in place, scientific research was carried out with a qualitative methodology feature, using documentary and bibliographic research to understand how the categories used in public security policies have being treated in Brazil and especially in the state of Pará. the results after analysis of official documents and statistics released by the Para state government, as well as surveys conducted nationwide about violence and the occurrence of crimes in the country and analysis of the theory used to this theme, we found that the statistics for the period 2011 - 2013 attested to a reduction in violence in the research area, however the observed reduction rates were small compared to the magnitude of the problem presented. Other factors that influence this occurrence are related to limited investments in basic sanitation and urban infrastructure that are precarious in the neighborhood, which influence the quality of life of residents and that have not received attention defined in the action plan by the government.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Viver às margens do rio: identidade e pertença na ilha do Combu/PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-04-28) NUNES, Thainá Guedelha; FURTADO, Lourdes de Fátima Gonçalves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1828475659148260; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5243-4607The city of Belém, like all urban centers, is always growing and modernizing, but not every locality follows the logic of "modernity". Despite the population growth of Combu Island and its proximity to the urban area of Belém, the riverside communities remain with their everyday reality linked to environment and its natural resources, rivers and forest that is still predominant on the island, demonstrating that despite changes, inherent in any social context, their development is connected to a more harmonious relationship with the environment. Thus, this work, which is a qualitative anthropological study, based on ethnography, with field work, informal conversations and semi-structured interviews complementing the participant observation method, is about identity and belonging related to the Igarapé do Combu community riverside way of life, in Combu Island, which are developed over time, from the dynamics of this population with this place, where there is a riverine social dynamic differentiated from the neighbors living in the urban area.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A doença do petróleo: extração petroleira na comunidade achuar nuevo Jerusalén no rio corrientes na Amazõnia Peruana(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-05-11) PALACIOS, Cynthia Cárdenas; LÓPEZ-GARCÉS, Claudia Leonor; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5655397771707702; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9550-0152In the Northern Peruvian Amazon, near the border with Ecuador lives the Achuar people. More than forty years ago this indigenous group coexists with oil extraction, product of concession policies for the exploitation of hydrocarbons promoted throughout the Amazon by several governments. This research looks into the perceptions, actions and dynamics of the Achuar of the community of Nuevo Jerusalem, whose territory is superimposed by Lot 192. Based on the particular experiences of leaders and some community members, especially young girls and boys, I study the way in which the Achuar perceive and build their relationship with their territory. This approach privileges the point of view of the Achuar themselves. I argue that despite the changes in their territory, mainly due to environmental and social pollution, poor implementation of extractive oil activities and poor environmental regulations, the relationship that this indigenous group establishes with its territory is strong, and bounded both by their epistemology and oil extraction. I study the way in which the Achuar learn to relate to their territory, a territory that is inhabited by other beings besides humans and that can no longer offer them everything necessary to guarantee their livelihood.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Memórias das esquinas: as trajetórias de prostitutas na batalha pelo bairro da Campina, Belém-Pa(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-05-29) SOUSA, Silvia Lilia Silva; SILVEIRA, Flávio Leonel Abreu da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1972975269922101In this paper i will look at prostitution in the urban context of Belem, specifically in the Campina neighbourhood, central area of the city of Belém / PA, where bohemia and prostitution in the capital predominated between the 19th and 20th centuries. In this district, the famous zone of the meretrício was built in 1921, also known as“quadrilátero do amor”, that was closed in the 1970s by the military government, and remained so throughout that decade. Starting from the studies of urban anthropology in interlocution with gender studies, I propose in this dissertation to understand the relationship between female prostitutes and the Campina neighborhood, taking into account their trajectories, memories and struggles. Thus, I perceive that among the street corners, nightclubs and small hotels, emerge stories that exist in the memories of these women; narratives that allow the reflection of different interpretations regarding the city. Therefore, they reference other forms of exercising sociability and experiencing the city.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) “Somos veteranas!” as experiências do tempo vivido a partir das narrativas e das memórias de mulheres travestis e transexuais(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-06-12) DEUS, Amadeu Lima de; SILVEIRA, Flávio Leonel Abreu da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1972975269922101The main objective of this dissertation is to show the self - perception of the experiences of aging in transvestite and transsexual women 's bodies, in order to bring to the surface narratives that express their experiences over time and that run counter to the personal projects of the research interlocutors. Thus, the memory narratives tell part of the stories of these women, who constitute part of the cityscape of Belém - Pará, not even limiting their experiences to this locality. I seek to discuss issues related to gender patterns and transfeminities, thus pointing to the differences between the identity constitutions of a trans becoming in the city. Therefore, the narratives are the ways to better understand the peculiarities that exist in this plot that involves the various social institutions: family, state, school, among others. The north of this ethnographic text, in addition to the trajectories, also involves the varied notions about the aging trans body, so the peculiarities appear in the singular experiences of each of the five interlocutors who were part of this research. The "olds woman‘s" of the present day were the "dolls" of the past and affirm: "not old", we are "veterans".Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Pobres como nós: Quilombolas de Rosário e uso comum no Rio Camará (Municípios de Salvaterra e Cachoeira do Arari/PA)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-06-24) CRUZ, Samuel Vieira; ALENCAR, Edna Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7555559649274791This dissertation seeks to understand the Camará River Common Use Territory, named by the Rosario quilombolas, a relevant area used as a source of natural resources essential to their physical, social, economic and cultural reproduction, which they avoided claiming in the process of land regularization. solely in their favor. From the reflection on the values underlying their relations with other neighboring communities and villages, with which they share this territory of common use, theoretical based in Pierre Bourdieu, through the concepts of cultural capital and habitus, I examine their strategies and measures to ensure the enjoyment of existing natural resources (territory, fisheries and forest resources), in addition to the private appropriation of the region's farmers, that are located in areas outside the claimed quilombola territory and those resources are shared with families from other riverside communities, with which it maintains historical relations based on tradition, kinship relations - by ancestry and alliance, triggered in situations of sociocultural events and / or to resolve eventual conflicts. Supported by ethnographic research and open interviews, I describe the relationship between community families and farmers in the region, through the process of occupation, constitution of common use territory and the context in which they called the “Camará River Common Use Area” emerged, in the process of regularization of the quilombola territory of Rosario. Throughout the dissertation, tensions, clash of interests and values between the fields involved and the socioeconomic dynamics of the Camará river channel are identified, which expose the usual actions that demonstrate the resilience of the quilombola community in relations with its neighbors and guarantee them the bonds of solidarity, as well as access - for all - to the natural resources essential to their way of life (mowing, collecting, fishing).Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Motivação para o engajamento sindical : estudo de uma organização de agricultores familiares no nordeste paraense(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-06-30) SANTOS, Raynice Souza dos; SCHMITZ, Heribert; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2294519993210835This research deals with the motivations for engagement in the Union of Rural Workers (STTR), in the Municipality of Concórdia do Pará. Collective action represents one of the most important ways to make social and political claims prevail and is often carried out through organizations. Social organizations, therefore, become privileged instruments of contestation and political confrontation and, especially, unions have historically played a central role in defending the interests of workers. Rural unionism, however, is currently in a more delicate situation, due to a series of transformations that put its attractiveness in check, making it difficult for partners to engage and remain. Therefore, understanding why to become a member of a union is a matter of extreme relevance, not only academic, but also practical. To carry out this analysis, a qualitative approach was used, with data collection taking place in two communities (Galho and Igarapé João), and a settlement (Nova Inácia), as well as at the union headquarters. The research was divided into two stages, with five forays into the field. Secondary data were collected (from the Concordia Agriculture Department and the STTR headquarters), the literature on the researched topic was consulted and 23 interviews were conducted (with 18 family farmers and five union leaders). The survey results showed that the Concord STTR has a significant share of affiliated farmers, most of whom approve the current union board. Nevertheless, I found that most of the members are not up to date with the union contribution, with some claiming that they stopped contributing after the approval of the temporary law 871/2019 which ended the need to issue union declarations so that workers can apply for retirement. This service was one of the main reasons for STTR membership and its cancellation weakened the organization. This fact points to the need for unions to reinvent themselves and establish partnerships with other organizations, such as farmers' associations.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Justiça ambiental em território de desastres: uma ação local de resistência em São Sebastião do Burajuba/Barcarena (PA)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-10-27) CRISTO, Amanda Mesquita; TEISSERENC, Maria José da Silva Aquino; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1799861202638255The present work aims to analyze actions and organizations of actors mobilized in processes that are configured as struggles against environmental injustice and for the good living in the community of São Sebastião do Burajuba in Barcarena, municipality of the state of Pará, as resistance to issues related to environmental injustices regarding access to and use of water, in a context marked by mining activities. These activities, considered as pollutants to a high degree, result in significant changes in the ecosystem, in the ways of life, in the economic and cultural practices of quilombola communities, indigenous peoples, farmers, extractivists and fishermen. To this end, the concepts of Environmental Justice by Acselred (2010) and Bem Viver de Acosta (2016) were used, understanding that nature and its resources are references linked to a philosophy of life, part of countless histories of struggle and resistance of called traditional populations. Defending against the injustice posed regarding the unequal distribution of risks by industrial activities is presented in the form of complaints and confrontations in Barcarena carried out by the Association of Caboclos, Indígenas e Quilombolas da Amazônia (Cainquiama) and by the quilombola community São Sebastião do Burajuba. It is a research of qualitative methodology, in which in addition to data analysis and basic bibliography, interviews were conducted with several actors from the Burajuba community, including members of Cainquiama. The research also points out that the fight for environmental justice has a long way to go, mainly in a country marked by several social and territorial inequalities. The results indicated that the emissions of industrial pollutants are destined for part of a territory where populations of ethnic-racial origin live whose socioeconomic situation becomes disadvantaged.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Tratamento diferenciado: sobre reconhecimento e consideração em torno do sistema biomédico no Alto Trombetas(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-01-25) FIDELIS, Juliana Cardoso; CARVALHO, Luciana Gonçalves de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9870905738650852; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7916-9092This research presents aspects of claims and strategies of access to biomedical health services, originally reserved for the Mineração Rio do Norte employees, as they have been presented by eight comunidades remanescentes de quilombo in Trombetas (Oriximiná / PA). It is the demand for recognition and consideration as moral and rights subjects forged by the quilombolas living in the Território Alto Trombetas II, who, organized, negotiate access with Mineração Rio do Norte to conventional/ hegemonic medicine. In this context, considering the insufficiency of public services rendered in several segments in the territory, as well as the transformations of the "traditional health model" operating based on knowledge passed down through generations and still activated in the comunidades, it is intended to present reflections on the conditions of access to biomedical services, how they are experienced by the populations and dealt with in the discussions/speeches related to the mining company. In this way, we start from the hypothesis that the liberation and the conditions of access to these services constitutes a moral issue of consideration, based on the development of a notion of "differentiated health", that considers them and that enables them to perceive social esteem, as moral and rights subjects. This research develops through ethnographic work that is methodologically based on the multisituated approach, by which we follow the fundamental relationships based on the emerging discourses that make up the fields of negotiation and understandings about recognition.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Nas veredas da sobrevivência: mulheres no setor informal na feira do Ver-o-Peso em Belém, do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-03-17) SILVA, Mayara de Oliveira; DANTAS, Luísa Maria Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1573989294603242This dissertation aims to present, based on an ethnography, the trajectories and narratives of women who found at the Ver-o-Peso fair, in Belém do Pará, opportunities for income generation and that without permission by the Municipality of Belém to the use of space at the fair, survive through their informal, autonomous and mobile work. The field research was divided into three moments: a) arrival at the field b) immersion in the field c) meeting women who work at the fair. It was carried out between the months of April 2018 and February 2020. Bibliographic data were collected to provide theoretical support for anthropology and sociology, as well as some quantitative data from the research universe. 66 women were interviewed, aged 17 to 69 years. Qualitative research proved to be essential for the knowledge of life trajectories of women belonging to the informal sector; also, through participant observation, of their work at the fair, essential work activities for daily subsistence. It was observed that the fair represents a welcoming space, which absorbs a large portion of the unemployed population in the city and at the same time represents a challenge for the control of public power and the locus of criminal practices. Informal work is abundant and a hallmark of the Ver-o-Peso fair, mainly represented by the female figure in the space.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Cidadãos do céu, e quilombolas na terra: um estudo sobre articulações entre crenças pentecostais e aspectos da territorialização de um quilombo amazônico.(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-03-19) SOUZA, Alef Monteiro de; MORAES JÚNIOR, Manoel Ribeiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2429279552706202; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6986-7671Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Trajetórias docentes e formação continuada em relações etnicorracias na Amazônia paraense(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-04-30) FIGUEIREDO, Evillys Martins de; CONRADO, Mônica Prates; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6141735247260273The brazilian educational scope, in the 2000s, was marked by the advancement of public poli-cies for the afro-brazilian population. Among it, there is the law 10.639/03 that made the teach-ing of african and afro-brazilian History and culture compulsory during school education. From that, official documents from the National Education Council (CNE) emphasized the need for continuing teacher education as one of the main means to enforce what the law demands. In this perspective, the methodology of the present research was social trajectory based on biog-raphy (BOURDIEU, 2006; COSTA, 2015; LEVI, 2006; SCHWARCZ, 2013) in conjunction with the non-directive interview technique (MICHELAT, 1987), aiming to understand how teachers of school education, who attended a postgraduate course in ethnic-racial relations, were affected by such continued training and how they perceive it as part of their experiences pro-cessed in to social trajectories in the Amazon, state of Pará. This research had three interlocutors identified by the codenames Ayòbámi Adébáyò, Onyebuchi Emecheta and Édouard Glissant, who are postgraduate in “Especialização UNIAFRO: Política de Promoção da Igualdade Racial na Escola; III Curso de Especialização Saberes Africanos e Afro-brasileiros na Amazônia; Im-plementação da Lei 10.639/03”, promoted by Afro-Amazonian Studies Group (GEAM/UFPA) and financed by the Brazilian Ministry of Education. To comprehend the trajectories of these teachers, I analyze their biographical reports supported on concepts of race, racism, gender, morenity and place prejudice because the reports of their experiences, during and after post-graduation, were around the conflict in learning about particularities of ethnic-racial relations, especially in the Amazon, a place marked by an exogenous and homogenizing knowledge pro-duction that has fixed it on image like “forest” and “demographic void”, making its populations invisible, especially black men and women, in the face of the national axis. Thereby, it was possible to understand that during the continuing education, with the themes and debates, the interlocutors managed to accumulate new knowledge that they could take to their classrooms; during and after the postgraduate course, they realize that the subjects at school still see racism as isolated individual behavior, an idea in which they seek to intervene in order to appropriate the knowledge of postgraduate to rethink together the structures of oppression presents in eve-ryday life and school. This learning about ethnic-racial relationships also affected their personal lives, changing or maintaining their understanding of their social trajectories in the context of the recognition of the oppressions and resistances they experienced. Also, it was possible to understand that the knowledge transposition to the classroom was a laborious process, but ac-cording to the teachers, they achieved some success in attracting the attention of their students during discussions and activities around the ethnic-racial relations theme, something that, even on a small scale, influenced the students’ mentality.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Sujeitos na loucura em conflito com a lei: vivências egressas das medidas de segurança no estado do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-12-15) MARQUES, João Vinicius; SILVA, Érica Quinaglia; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7125713612136155; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9526-7522; CONRADO, Mônica Prates; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6141735247260273The security measure is the penal sanction of individuals considered insane who committed crimes. This work results from the ethnographic follow-up in the state of Pará of subjects with mental disorders who have graduated from the local forensic hospital, that is, those who have already fulfilled their security measures and, recently graduated, are in a transitional care facility called the Therapeutic Republic of Passthrough (RTP). Thinking from the mostly black figures in the statistics of the prison population in Brazil, this work uses as a dialogue critical references that I designate as black thoughts. Faced with new questions and provocations in the course of this research, I propose to return to some stories and questions to studies and political strategies for attention and freedom of people who have graduated from security measures throughout this research with an anthropological approach, having as an interface the debates on mental health and racism.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Roda Cultural de Benevides: uma pesquisa-ação sobre a atualização da luta antirracista em Benevides/PA.(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-01-31) OLIVEIRA, Evelyn Talisa Abreu de; PEIXOTO, Rodrigo Corrêa Diniz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9872938064820413The main objective of this master's thesis is to investigate the mobilization of the collective “Roda Cultural de Benevides” (RCDB), founded on August 8, 2018, as a black resistance movement, born in a city that brings in its historical configuration the first liberation of slaves in the Amazon. Thus, this research sought to answer the following problem: how does the Roda Cultural de Benevides' collective contribute to the updating and visibility of the anti-racist struggle in Benevides/PA? For this, first of all, we characterized the RCDB, in order to identify the dynamics and meanings of collective actions in relation to the anti-racist struggle in the city, and then, through the intervention proposal, we aim at cooperation for the improvement of the racial awareness of the collective, in view of the knowledge acquired at the university in dialogue with the experiences in the RCDB. The methodology of this investigation is supported by the principles of socially critical action research, a modality of political action research. The analysis categories used in this work are the new social movements, black movement, hip-hop movement, cultural collective, anti-racist struggle, colonialism, coloniality. Among the theoretical references are Abdias Nascimento (2016), Aluízio Marino (2013; 2015), ngela Alonso (2009), Aníbal Quijano (1992;2005;2009), Bruno Borda (2016), Frantz Fanon (2008), Glória Diógenes (2015), Grada Kilomba (2019), Kabengele Munanga (2019), Leila Ferreira (2019), Nilma Lino Gomes (2017), Petrônio Domingues (2007), Regina Novaes (2006), Remo Mutzenberg (2015), Ricardo Campos and Ágata Sequeira (2018). The analysis' results of the elements and actions that build and characterize the RCDB, as well as the experience of implemented social practice, led us to two conclusions. The first conclusion is the reproduction of one of the updated forms of racism in Brazilian type, that is, racism by omission, highlighting the urgency of an explicit stance against racism. The second conclusion corresponds to the answer to the proposed research problem, namely, art is the main strategy of contemporary anti-racist struggle in the Benevides City.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) ‘Esquinas” virtuais, “Garotas” nem tanto: um estudo sobre intercâmbios sexuais e econômicos negociados em plataformas digitais(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-04-08) SALES, Jennefer Portela de; GONÇALVES, Telma Amaral; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7335593537033167; MOTTA-MAUÉS, Maria Angelica; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7861116876230464This research proposes to identify and analyze the affective-sexual and economic exchanges, as well as the experiences and strategies of women from Belém to transit in the virtual space of the sex market, widely affected by communicational transformations, driven by the internet. In view of this, the theoretical-methodological contributions used were, among others, the following: Donna Haraway, Adriana Pisciteli, José Olivar, Elizabeth Bernstein and Pierre Lévy. Methodologically, it is based on the observation of 467 advertisements displayed on digital platforms (F, G, N and S), used as “corners”. To this end, the rules and policy of use, the typification of services available, such as the profiles of advertisers, were observed during the period from January 2020 to July 2021. It is also supported by the ethnographic meeting with three cisgender women aged between 24 and 35 years, residing in the city of Belém do Pará, residents of the so-called “periphery”, with complete higher education, unemployed, or who experience their training profession in a precarious way, from December 2018 to September of 2020. The data indicate that the financial factor and the search for social ascension, are propellers for entering prostitution, as a temporary movement, which guarantees investment in professional qualification and the cost of their basic expenses, which is facilitated by the platforms where they publish their profiles, which present themselves as environments in which sexual services are negotiated. The research also shows how much the use of information technologies and internet access impacts even on sexual exchanges, affecting the way in which services are offered and which services are sought, allowing advertisers autonomy, convenience, security and discretion. In the provision of services. It is concluded that there is a continuum of permanence and reconfigurations in affective-sexual and economic exchanges negotiated in what I call “virtual corners”.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Maretório: o giro ecoterritorial dos povos extrativistas costeiro-marinhos do litoral da Amazônia paraense do litoral da Amazônia paraense?(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-04-13) LIMA, Paulo Victor Sousa; RIBEIRO, Tânia Guimarães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1193175057010343; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1683-3659This dissertation presents a reflection on the socio-anthropological construction of the identity of the coastal extractive peoples of the Amazonian coast of Pará. In view of this, the study aimed to understand how the leaders of the National Commission for the Strengthening of Coastal and Marine Extractive Reserves and Extractive Peoples (CONFREM) from Coastal-Marine Extractive Reserves (RESEXs) on the coast of Pará give meaning to the maretório, that by mobilizing it for the recognition of a singular identity, that of coastal-marine extractivistas, they are drawing a concept in practice - as an ecoterritorial turn. It is qualitative exploratory research, which involved a set of techniques and methodological procedures that include bibliographic research, documentary research, and interviews with semi-structured scripts. This material was analyzed in dialog with a proposal of conceptual synthesis of the theoretical field of social movements. However, given the specificities of socio-environmental struggles in the context of the Pará Amazon coast, there was a need to incorporate other analytical categories, such as socio-environmental conflicts and expropriation of the sea. Currently there are 30 Coastal-Marine RESEXs decreed between the years 1992 and 2018, and 13, are located on the coast of the state of Pará. The mobilizations led by coastal-sea extractive peoples demanding the creation of these Sustainable Use Conservation Units originated from socio-environmental conflicts triggered by the incorporation of the coast of the Pará Amazon into an agenda composed of actions, policies, and initiatives, characterized by literature as the ocean grabbing. The results of the research indicate that it was only in 2008, that is, a little more than a decade after the institutionalization of the first Coastal-Marine RESEXs in Brazil, that the idea of forming an organization to represent the socio-environmental movement emerged. Over the years CONFREM has been expanding its window of action and gaining recognition from the State and Society as a whole. The main agendas defended by CONFREM involve the demand and the monitoring of the processes of creation of new Conservation Units, as well as the access to policies that meet and recognize the specificities of the category. In different participation spaces, such as meetings, forums, and seminars, these leaders of CONFREM of the Coastal-Marine RESEXs of the coast of Pará present a claim directed to academia: the construction of the concept of the maretório. Based on these leaders, it was possible to understand that the maretório, as a concept, would be characterized as the necessary lenses for those who wish to understand the socio-environmental dynamics, which occurs on the coast of the Pará Amazon, of the population segment self-denominated as "coastal-marine extractive peoples," which is linked to the singularity of a way of life based on cultural, political, and economic reproduction amidst the fluidity of the processes of appropriation and use of common resources of coastal and marine environments and ecosystems.
