Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Metodologia ativa de ensino em cenário amazônico: o estudo de caso do boto(Universidade Federal do Pará, 1995-08-04) PARENTE, Layane Joyce Rosa Maia; FREITAS, Nádia Magalhães da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2982253212145468; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0042-8640; RODRIGUES, Isabel Cristina França dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0226549641470972; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5750-5868The present research aims to bring the construction process of an educational case study based on real narratives in the Amazonian context about the river dolphin, resulting in the elaboration of an educational product. The scenario for the construction of the case was the municipality of Mocajuba, where the methodology was carried out, which involved the collection of narratives from the community. These narratives provided the input for the construction of the case. The dolphins are animals that inhabit the rivers of the Amazon and are currently classified as endangered. The main threats related to the group are linked to the use of their organs and tissues for medicinal and mythical-religious purposes, as well as retaliation by fishermen and hunting of the animal. The result of this work confirmed what has already been described in the literature about the conflicts arising from the human-animal relationship, as well as the appreciation relationship when the animal is seen from an exploitative point of view. Thus, the case study "the judgment of the dolphin" was constructed as a tool to raise discussions about the problems involving these animals.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Jogos concretos no laboratório de ensino da matemática na formação de professores na educação à distância(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-02-25) SILVA, Renata Lourinho da; BARROS, Osvaldo dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8886478452699437The present work deals with a methodological proposal for mathematics teachers practicing, which came out from a testing made in the Math Teaching Lab (MTL), of the Universidade Aberta do Brasil (UAB), in Cametá, during tutorial supervised training classes, with students from mathematics distance course. MTL was created in 2013, yet a little explored at initial formation of math teachers, however. The main goal of this work is to present and orientate future teachers of math by the use of some didactic materials from MTL, its reproduction through alternatives materials (junk metal) as well. This research is focused on the Concepts Fields Theory of Vergnaud (1990), also claimed by Pais (2008 and 2011); Kamii (1992), who deals with mathlogic knowledge construction; Alves(2001) and Dohme (2011), who talks about the use of solid games; Yus (1998) and Gonçalves (2005 and 2011), who hold reflexive teachers formation and Lorenzato (2006), who claims about MTL. We also emphasize the research production construction (didactic book) elaborated from a solid game (balance form) of MTL/UAB/Cametá, PA. The students of UAB/2011 class were involved at the workshops. The research has qualitative approach on search-action form, because we developed field activities that began meeting the space of MTL, gathering to experimentation workshops using four solid games from MTL (geo-plain, fractional ruler, balance form and space figures). At the end of this research, interviews were made, in order to identify the comprehension of the college students as the concepts studies, contents and transversal themes by the manipulation of the games. For the second workshop, we built alternative materials from games used on the first one to be used at the period discipline regency and at future teachers practicing. The results of this teaching proposal point out the need of significant exploration of new trends for Mathematics Education during initial formation of math teachers. Among them we presented concrete games, as well as, exploration over other pedagogical spaces instead of a classroom. Here, we mentioned the use of MTL, and was possible to check during workshops, great interest of the students to develop their studies at this place, which makes us think about this place as an important contribution for math teaching, as college studies as basic education.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A água para o consumo humano: ensino por meio de temas com abordagem em ciência, tecnologia, sociedade e ambiente(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-05-02) RIBEIRO, Dayane Negrão Carvalho; ALMEIDA, Ana Cristina Pimentel Carneiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1265908866509687Water is a topic commonly treated in the teaching of science, but a resource availability scenario lacks discussions to training for citizenship through the recognition of scientific and technological issues surrounding access to the use and preservation of human life. In this scenario, this study sought to determine how the proposed theme "Water for Human Consumption" can influence the training for citizenship of elementary school students of a school of public schools in the city of Abaetetuba, generating in this context two thematic booklets on the proposal, namely: a thematic booklet for students and a booklet with activity suggestions for the teacher. The used theoretical foundation hás two sections. The first incorporates the approach in Science, Technology, Society and Environment and his notes to improve the teaching of science through teaching by theme based on three pedagogical moments of Delizoicov, Angotti and Pernambuco (2011), from the context of situations students in order to involve them actively in the search for solutions through diversified activities. In the second section I write about scientific knowledge related to water and its influence on the teaching of science. The research environment was formed through a short course, attended by eleven students of the sixth grade of elementary school as research subjects, as well as teacher-researcher. The action research was the methodological option chosen in this study to collect data, which are analyzed in light of the interpretative analysis of Creswell (2007). The data showed that the subject worked in the Science approach, Technology, Society and Environment enables students to recognize the problems of their reality, allowing its insertion in the search for solutions, and also shows the importance of working everyday reality, paying attention the difficulties of the students to express themselves orally and in writing. As for the teacher researcher, this study showed how reflective practice was important for the conduct of short course activities. Regarding the product of this work, the two primers for use in teaching-learning situation, I consider it possible that the treatment of the subject, because aroused the interest of students to continue the activities culminating in presentations to the school community. And yet, there was the drafting of a letter by students with proposals to solve specific problems that was sent to the school towards improving knowledge about the problems and possible solutions observed by students in their school environment, with regard to access to water for human consumptionItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Pesquisando a própria prática em um processo de construção de conhecimentos científicos com alunos dos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-06-20) LOBATO, Sílvia Cristina da Costa; MANFREDO, Elizabeth Cardoso Gerhardt; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5159121717599196Take own teaching action as a research object contributes to the teacher's improvement and the academic success of their students. Researches in this direction are important for the ability to develop the teaching role in the process of teaching and learning, with autonomy and construction of reflection possibilities and reframing of the actions developed. In this context, to inquire about my own practice, I came to the following guiding questions of this master's research: what challenges and opportunities that arise in the practice of teaching with research? In what terms to develop the teaching of science through investigative sequences contributes to my own teacher training and to build knowledge of my students in the early years of elementary school? Given these issues, the following goal was established and directs my gaze during the research: to investigate their own teaching practice in the early years of elementary school, using teaching investigative sequences as a means to streamline the process of building scientific knowledge of students and to improve my action as a teacher, allowing the development of an educational product able to assist in training other teachers. The qualitative approach to narrative mode guides that walk. For the analysis of practice with students, use the reference of Piaget and Vygotsky, as well as the production of authors who discuss the teaching action as reflection and research process. The field work was done in my own classroom with a group of 4th year with which I developed three sequences Investigative (SI) on the floating bodies in the water, involving concepts of mass, volume and density and care for the environment . For data logging, I used the everyday narrative, audio recordings and video lessons and activities of students drawn from classroom practice. For data analysis, I resorted to the discursive textual analysis, enabling the reinterpretation of experiences and their meanings. As a result of the action and the very practical reflection process, I observed the development of investigative attitudes in students, the expansion of spontaneous concepts about the contents studied and the exercise of individual and group action, as well as reflective and independent postures on their own learning process, and for me also experienced in the course of work. In this dynamic, I discussed about everyday teaching, conceptual learning of science and some challenges when researching the practice itself, such as lack of time and space for research in school, difficulties in acquiring continuing education to the teacher researcher, the belief that you only can do research in the academy and the sole and exclusive teacher's job is to teach classes. Some possibilities of research on the practice itself are highlighted, such as understanding and / or change practice, valuing the teacher as a processing agent; teacher training for research, expanding its reflexive posture and solidifying its commitment to the students, with the school and community, and the formation of reflective professional communities that contribute to the proposition of new educational practices. In these terms, I support the research of the practice itself, its own characteristics and purposes, as a challenge for the teachers interested in reflecting on the quality of their work, expanding their training and their students, thus contributing to the production of knowledge in the area.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Feira do ver-o-peso: um espaço não formal e interdisciplinar de educação(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-09-05) LISBOA, Gleyce Thamirys Chagas; FREITAS, Nadia Magalhães da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2982253212145468This dissertation aimed to capture the multiple aspects the fair of Ver-o-Peso, a non-formal and not institutionalized space of education, for the constitution of the teaching guide, based on the perspective of interdisciplinarity. The local has a historical, cultural and economic importance to the city of Belém, in Pará state. We emphasize in the construction of this text, theoretical aspects related to formal, non-formal and informal as well as the meaning of interdisciplinary attitude. The participatory research, itself, was organized through the development, evaluation and validation of the Didactic Guide in a collaborative process between teachers and students of basic education and also to the researcher. The choice of the construction of this product is justified by the lack of teaching materials that allows basic education teachers use non-formal spaces non-institutionalized, in this case the fair of Ver-o-Peso, in their educational practice. In the Guide, was emphasized only four didactic potential, due to the complexity and variety of issues that can be worked, which are: Ver-o-Peso history, location, economy and territorialization of the Ver-o-Peso fair, pharmacology and Ver-o-Peso "enchantments" and the marajoara art present in Ver-o-Peso. In general, the Didactic Guide achieved its objectives, in order to be a resource for teaching.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Práticas investigativas com professores de ciências: contribuições para a formação e para o ensino(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-09-05) NASCIMENTO, Maridalva Costa; PARENTE, Andrela Garibaldi Loureiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0934892702963831Investigative teaching practices have been considered by several authors as an approach that can contribute to the improvement of science teaching. But, to do this at school it is necessary to consider, among other factors, the teachers training. While this training includes theoretical and practical knowledge of the investigative approach, cannot fail to consider the teacher's knowledge and the contributions that he has to offer to the construction of a practice that enhances this guidance. Thus, with the purpose to research the formative process aspects of science teachers in the context of such practices, we seek to investigate: "what do teachers bring from their formative process that enables the investigative practice in the interaction with their peers, and what do they learn in the context of investigative practices that can contribute to science teaching? To develop the study, we invite teachers from the municipal education network of the city of Castanhal-Pará. To mediate the dialogue with the individuals, we have created a teaching sequence, which concerned about the pigmentation changes from a flower of the Hibiscus mutabilis species. This species has been previously structured once it has already been an object of teaching and and research with students from the basic education, but it has also been subject to reformulations as a result of the process of interaction with the teachers. The question that guided the construction of the practice was: why do the flowers of the plant known as “amor –de-homem” (man-love) change their color? From the assumptions made, the following tasks were performed:-1 Observation of flower on the plant; 2-Study of flower life span; 3-Plant Identification; 4-Study of the light effect -5 Study of the temperature effect on flower pigmentation. The development of this sequence has been filmed and empirical data of the study have been established from the dialogues occurred between the teachers involved. The footage was transcribed and selected from the dialogues episodes related to the QUESTION, PLANNING, EXECUTION and ANSWERS, according to the model to study investigative practices, proposed by Parente (2012). The episodes analysis considered the nature of each element in the process of investigation, the relevant discussions to the process and training of science teachers. The construction of the activity with teachers allowed us to identify through the individuals’ speech training aspects that signaled to execution of such practices, such as: the ability to design experiments and the searching spirit. Also signaled aspects that demonstrate the necessity of this approach in training courses for science teachers, such as: the non-usage of writing to record the implemented experiments and the theoretical emptiness. As a product of this study we have produced a video using scenes originated within the scope of this work to present the results of this research and encourage teachers to their achievement.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Práticas avaliativas no contexto dos anos iniciais: acontecimentos, circunstâncias e significados para refletir sobre a própria prática(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-11-07) SANTOS, Noemia das Graças Rodrigues dos; DIAS, Josete Leal; http://lattes.cnpq.br/742141315853380; LUCENA, Isabel Cristina Rodrigues de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3255121871351967This research refers to my personal experience and practical evaluation developed through my work as Pedagogic Coordinator acting as Teacher’s Tutor and Assessor for students on a set of private schools. This research was conceived from memory episodes with the theme evaluation, which has been building me up as a professional. I make use, by saying such, of my own life story, seeking to analyze my path of professional development as Formation Teacher and the lived experiences on the different moments of this path. Those which are organized on eight distinct narrative episodes, each one related with all the others, hence all of them has as main theme the Diagnostic Evaluation made on the students. These episodes clarify their meaningful contributions to my acting as Students Evaluator because each one of those made it possible to come up with unique learnings, that are connected and also foresee the lived past with a view of the present that is contemplative and solidified by the nowadays theorist epistemological experiences. It helped me to understand how my professional development took place. Two moments constitute as investigational systematics where things started to take shape: 1) Important memories of themed history that occurred on my professional walk on Pedagogical Coordination; 2) How we describe those moments and how we would explain in theory its influence on our professional development? This investigation is established as a qualitative research, on the case study modality for considering that it consists on going deeper on an individual subject. It states to answer questions whether the researcher has or not control over the studied phenomena. I take as empirical material the written records of real situations, on a narrative form, occurred on my professional acting that has the theme evaluation. The analysis is structured by content analysis of the spoken reports of teachers that lived those episodes with me, producing new meanings, if compared to situations from the present date. The results of this investigation reveals researching about the very own practical shape in a reflexive matter gives us back positive results for a practical study form. The theory foundation for this research has authors that studied the evaluation on the different aspects but above all on the formation. However, I do understand that research doesn’t portrays only the moments I have lived but also on the doings that got shaped through this extended living formation.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Produção e avaliação de um módulo de estudo de aspectos históricos e epistemológicos sobre a evolução de modelos atômicos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-11-14) OLIVEIRA, Maria Eduarda da Silva; BRABO, Jesus de Nazaré Cardoso; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8186834432543140The present work presents a research on the learning and teaching of atomic models and aims to elaborate and evaluate a module of study of historical and epistemological aspects about atomic models in the formation of chemistry teachers. Initially, it describes and discusses the results of a survey of alternative conceptions of university students of chemistry on the subject and, based on this analysis, presents a didactic text on historical and epistemological aspects of the atomic models, as a way of minimizing the learning problems detected in the sample Investigated and literature on the subject. The results of the survey showed that subjects, like other similar studies, do not adequately understand the nature, history and context of application of the different atomic models. In the case of the sample investigated, as it is about future chemistry teachers, this is a very worrying fact. On the other hand, the results of a small sample of university students, who willingly read the text and answered questionnaires, indicate that the reading of historical and epistemological information presented in the text did not help to found in the conceptions of these future professors of chemistry.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Produção autoral de vídeo: uma proposta de ensino com o uso de tecnologias digitais em aulas de estatística(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-11-28) REIS, Josiane Silva dos; BARROS, Osvaldo dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8886478452699437The present work investigated the video production contribution as methodological proposal for teaching of statistics, with a group os students of the 9 th grade of Elementary School from a public school. This is a qualitative research, a participative research, that aimed to develop a process of teaching with the production of a material audiovisual, and the data were analyzed in light of the interpretative analysis of Cresweell (2007). The research was carried out in two major phases: in the first, the group of participating students had the opportunity to organize knowledge and discuss the basic concepts of statistics in an online forum created in a social network; in the second, the group created strategies, organized and elaborated materials for the production and editing of the video. The work took place in the context of Collaborative Learning, which has as one of its theoretical assumptions the Interactionist Theory of Vygotsky (1989), in which knowledge can be built collectively in the exchange between peers and through interaction. Thus, the technology guides all the proposed teaching process and enables the development of a teaching proposal that can overcome the traditional proposals of knoledge reproduction. The results showed that the collaborative learning, fomented by the use of digital technologies, favored interaction and instigated the autonomous attitude of the students in the pursuit and understanding of knowledge in statistics, besides that, the strategies and applicability of the built knowledge allowed the group of students recognized a problem of their reality and seek solutions resolve it. Regarding the product of this work, I believe the video, as a result of the proposed teaching process, it allowed to consolidate the research and serves as a guidance resource for teachers seeking differentiated teaching practices with the use of digital technologies.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Problemática socioambiental sob o olhar da abordagem CTS: uma proposta para o ensino de Ciências na Educação de Jovens e Adultos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-12-06) SOUSA, Alice dos Santos; CONTENTE, Ariadne da Costa Peres; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5424406285707749This research came from reflections on the teaching of science developed in the context of the Youth and Adult Education (EJA), and the recognition that the traditional approach of scientific content hinders the construction of knowledge by the students, because it ignores previous knowledge, with disarticulated the social, political, economic and technological. In this sense, we consider important to develop a proposal in which the approach of scientific content in EJA leave a problem situation addressed in CTS perspective, we believe that this can lead young people and adults to appropriate scientific knowledge and to develop the critical capacity for decision-making. From this, we seek answers to the following questions: science classes with CTS approach enables the construction of scientific knowledge by students of EJA? Students of adult education is able to grasp scientific knowledge related to the problems of their daily lives? And the scientific content approach starting from a problem situation allows the development of an active, reflective and critical stance by the student EJA? This study was a qualitative research, with a focus on action research. For analysis, we adopted the discursive textual analysis as a process aimed at producing new insights into phenomena and speeches. The data that constitute the corpus of the research were built in the classroom with the extracts of the most significant speeches of students. The results showed that it is necessary to insist on educational proposals that promote links between school subjects and everyday actions, this being an educational trend that enables the teacher to develop the curricula of interdisciplinary and contextualized way, exploring social, technological and environmental aspects in teaching sciences from a problem situation. Thus, in addition to allowing the exploration of issues that are under discussion in the media, the adoption of the CTS approach enables greater interaction between the triangulation: teacherstudent- knowledge, given that everyone can participate actively in the construction process knowledge through dialogues that develop during the exploration of this theme. Through research it was possible to build a new look in classes focused on science education with students of EJA.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O uso do dinheiro como recurso sustentável: uma reflexão para a educação financeira cidadã(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017) SILVA, Iran Abib Valente da; GUERRA, Renato Borges; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3199659904537033Financial education in Brazil is something that may be considered new to most. It is not customary for Brazilians to make financial plans, to talk about money, especially when it involves children. The absence of the basic notion of money can disrupt the child's financial life for the rest of his or her life. She may graduate from being an excellent professional, making a lot of money, but not being able to manage her financial life, because in her cradle that information was not transmitted. Therefore, one of our responsibilities as educators and parents is to leave a healthy legacy to our children regarding the subject of finance. For this to happen, we must first learn and practice this knowledge daily in our lives, giving them examples of living worthily today, so that future generations will be reached in this practice. However, this change is not easy because we live in a country, whose culture is not based on the fundamentals of the necessary consumption, but on the ideology of consumerism, which is a forged mental habit that has become one of the most remarkable cultural characteristics of present-day society. This has brought about a disturbance in people's way of acting, that is, the act of consumption loses its fundamental characteristic, which is to supply basic necessities, and becomes a matter of power and conquest. Today, everyone who is impacted by the mass media is encouraged to consume in an inconsequential way mainly the children's audience, since they are more vulnerable. In this sense, child consumerism is an urgent matter, of extreme importance and general interest. If we continue to do so with our children we will be teaching them to pass on horror and shame. Perhaps this is why we are still considered financially illiterate because we do not know how to deal with money. We need to broaden the contribution of financial education by using it to draw people's attention to the importance of their day-to-day decisions, both for their own future and current well-being, and for the sustainability of society and the environment. This issue is intimately related to the essence of the sustainable use of money today, so it makes sense to provoke people's reflection on the real motives that lead them to understand this sustainable practice related to personal well-being, Family and community, which is fundamental to each of us.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ensino de ciências por investigação: um desafio à formação dos professores dos anos escolares iniciais(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-04-11) SOARES, Gilma Favacho Amoras; GONÇALVES, Terezinha Valim Oliver; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0496932429575513This is a formation research, of a qualitative nature, in the narrative modality, organized in formative meetings, which I call formation forums, as contributions for the continued formation of teachers in the teaching practice in the initial school years, for the teaching of sciences through. Of investigative practices. The teacher´s role in this teaching proposal is to encourage questioning, argumentation, communication, to lead questions, to stimulate and to propose challenges to oneself and the students. The scenario for this research is a school from the state system, where I have been working for 12 years. The motivation to do it comes from my concern as a trainer teacher, from the observation in my practice that the participating teachers taught Sciences based mainly on the contents presented in the didatic books, which led me to believe that it would be important to provide discussions, starting on a reflexive teaching proposal that put the student as the subject of his own learning. I proposed to them a formative collaborative work, which I intend to know, in what terms the teacher´s formation in the School, from the teaching by investigation, contributes to the teacher´s formation who teaches sciences in the initial years. This research involved three teachers who taught, at that moment, for the 3rd, 4th and 5th years. I used as instruments for data processing: questionnaire, interview, field diary, audio recordings, individual and collective productions. We observed that from the discussions in the formation forums, teachers attributed new meanings to their practices in the classroom, starting to propose teaching activities through investigative practices, providing active participation of students in the construction of knowledge and showing themselves more satisfied with the own teaching practice. Therefore, the research in question is relevant, because it invests in the realization of formation forums, providing the teachers of a Public School, innovation in their practices by encouraging students to participate in their own learning. In the course of the formation forums, I watched teachers involved in the context of the discussions, signaling "openness" to changes in their work. The Continuous formation contributed with the subject to advance in the process to building of knowledge and development personal and professional that evidenced in the narratives of the subjects, in the moment that they expressed changes in the way they see, feel, think and express themselves, in face of confirmation of a nonconformity feeling provoked during the continuous formation lived in the context of the school. Encased at this dissertation is found a video prepared with the participating teachers that contains the formation research procedures, in general terms, and the reported learning by them during the Continuous formation process, focus of this research.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A argumentação e a experimentação investigativa no ensino de matemática: o problema das formas em um clube de ciências(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-05-05) ALMEIDA, Willa Nayana Corrêa; MALHEIRO, João Manoel da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7502225344402729The present study objective to analyze the contributions of the interventions of the teacher-monitor for the emergence and development of the argumentation among students participating in the Science Club "Prof. Dr. Cristovam W. P. Diniz", of the Federal University of Pará - Campus Castanhal, during an investigative experimental activity on the introductory concepts of area and perimeter. It Emerged from the reflections of the researcher during her personal and professional experiences in the classroom, and that contribute to the constitution of our identity as educator of Mathematics. In view of this, we apply a sequence of teaching based on the stages of investigative experimentation, in which we seek to identify, in our interventions as teacher-monitors, the pedagogical and epistemological purposes expressed to favor the argumentation among the students. Regarding the students' statements, we tried to verify in the argumentative process developed, both the elements and the structure according to the of Toulmin’s Pattern (2001), such as the epistemological operations presented by students expressing the relations that occurred during the construction of mathematical knowledge. The research is characterized as qualitative, in which we use as video recording instruments, video recordings, photographs, audio recordings and field notes, with subsequent transcription of the subjects' speeches. For the interpretation of the information collected, we chose to use Content Analysis. The space investigated is considered an alternative environment destined for teaching, research and extension of didactic actions turned to Science and Mathematics. The participants were four students of the fifth year and three of the sixth year, totalizing seven subjects. During the analysis, it was possible to identify, in each of the episodes considered more prominent, that our interventions as teacher-monitor had great relevance, since from the developed epistemological purposes and pedagogical actions it was possible organize and guide the investigative activity so that it helps in the emergence of argumentation and the construction of mathematical knowledge. We verified that emerged argumentative organisms according to the Toulmin pattern, being constituted of data (D), conclusion (C), warranty (W), backing (B), modal qualifier (Q) and refutation (R). In relation to the epistemological operations presented by the students in the development of the argumentation, we perceive that various forms of action and thought have arisen, being mainly explored deduction, induction, causality, definition, classifying, appeal to analogies and attributes, consistency with experience and plausibility. The final product generated by the research consists of a video guidance that explains the stages of investigative experimentation and evidences the attitude of the educator for the emergence and development of argumentation among students.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Práticas investigativas e webquest: construindo interfaces para o ensino sobre tratamento da informação para além do paradigma do exercício(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-05-11) ARAÚJO, Maria José Lopes de; NUNES, José Messildo Viana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5188612973174798; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9492-4914; MARTINS, France Fraiha; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4765567823575996; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7933-6014Research in focus happened within the framework of the continuous formation of teachers who teach Mathematics in the early years of elementary school in the municipality of Marabá (PA). This qualitative research (DESLAURIERS and KÉRISIT, 2008) narrative mode (CLANDININ and CONNELLY, 2011), is based on the educational experiences of teachers when involved in moments that favor the triad information processing-investigative Practices-digital technologies to deal with teaching about the basics of statistics. I seek to answer the question: In what terms investigative practices using Webquest contribute to teacher training education in the early years about treatment information? Goal, teacher, trainer and researcher, investigating the teaching on information processing, using Webquest, in order to enable reflections and new learning about this curricular component. Participated of this research 04 teachers educators, which previously were selected according to the criteria: i) joining the training proposal; II) availability of participation of training meetings; III) have participated in continuing education at other times and iv) have already dictated the fourth and/or fifth grade of elementary school. The formative moments if articulated in two steps consist of 3 meetings each. A Webquest composed of investigative tasks, as it establishes the bridge (2004) to deal with the understanding of statistics education in perspective of inverted symmetry, in which teachers provided students reflect on teaching and the propositions derived from him. In addition to the Webquest, was elaborated a Didactic Orientation Guide "for the teacher/trainer containing guidelines for the use of the Webquest, suggestions for searches and queries for more information and expanding the potential of this pedagogical practice. Thus, the Webquest and the Guide are as research products. Tracking new understandings of the educational phenomenon investigated, I used the Discursive Textual analysis as advocate Mathew and Galiazzi (2011). The empirical material gave way to two analytical axes: i) Looks about teaching teachers about the treatment of information; II) teachers in information handling Practices. The analysis reveals that teachers assign the meanings of that) to teach you have to know the mathematical content, b) the teaching of mathematics is the way it was learned and training and teaching experience, c) the express teaching about treatment information should be assumed as a social engagement, d) you can provide to students training more statistically literate. In addition, teachers express the formative experience allowed new other musings about lived, highlighting the relevance of the investigative practices in promoting attitudes of interaction and appreciation of the subject of learning in the educational environment. Another aspect pointed to was the importance of using everyday situations, because they leverage the research and extend the interdisciplinary vision of education statistics. The use of digital technologies, formative moments, mobilizes and broadens the statistical knowledge. There is the recognition that we must continuously form to teach, especially to deal with the treatment of information.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Educação em ciências e educação de surdos: vivenciando possibilidades em aulas de física(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-05-17) MARTINS, Denize Rodrigues; MATOS, Maria da Conceição Gemaque de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3811282366596635; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3026-5141; SALES, Elielson Ribeiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5467537517169068; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6242-582XThe objective of this research was to study the factors that most stood out in the involvement of a deaf student in relation to their learning about the basic concepts of Physics. This deaf student is included in a class of the first year of high school in a school located in the municipality of Abaetetuba / Pa. This research presents a qualitative delineation, guided by the action research, where the main ones involved in the field of research were the researcher (teacher), an interpreter, the deaf student and the student listener. The data were produced through interviews, participant observation of the physics classes and a trail game, the latter was made in partnership with PIBID / PHYSICS / ABAETETUBA-PA scholarship recipients and had as purpose to review the concepts studied in previous classes and to identify if the strategy used by me (teacher regent of the class) provided learning for the deaf student. For the analysis of the data was used Discursive Textual Analysis, through which emerged three categories of analysis: Obstacles during the interpretation of Portuguese for Libras; Evidence of learning of the deaf student; And Challenges of Teaching: between anguish and conquest. The results showed that the use of: signalized Portuguese associated with images, Libras, written Portuguese, home signs and gambling; Helped the teaching and learning process, but they were not enough, highlighting as necessary a collaborative work among all the professionals of the school. It is hoped from this research to point out the importance of the teacher to know the least of the Libras to, in a collaborative work, include the deaf student in the so-called regular classroom. Regarding the product, a booklet was created with some guidelines for teachers working with deaf students.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Educação matemática e educação de surdos: tecendo memórias na perspectiva da educação inclusiva(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-05-24) SOARES, Maria Eliana; MARTINS, France Fraiha; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4765567823575996; SALES, Elielson Ribeiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5467537517169068Driven by Inquiry: What are the perceptions of deaf students about the teaching-learning process in the face of the challenges of classroom communication? I treat in this study of my "experiences and learnings" during two decades, in basic education, in the perspective of Inclusive Education. The relevance in reflecting my own practice is due to the need to star my teaching in inclusive education, because unknowing the subject sometimes made me absent, and until conniving in the face of my limitations with deafness, segregating and excluding without realizing it. Under one light of curiosity, the teaching plot aims to analyze the contributions of deaf students' perceptions about mathematics teaching-learning, considering the complexity of communication in the classroom, to which I turn to Teaching and Learning Mathematics for Citizen Education, from a scientific school research, in the perspective of scientific literacy on mathematical education and education of the deaf, aiming theoreticalmethodological reflections that contribute to inclusive pedagogical practices and future studies in this area. I theorize my teaching history, based on the qualitative research in the narrative (auto) biographical modality, in which I narrate situations lived in different contexts of basic education, considering the nuances of the reality of regular education and the complexity of inclusive education, having as an illustration five participants from the relevance of his memories filled with subjectivities. To interpret them, I sought support in the parameters of hermeneutics; of Vygotsky socio-historical theory, which deals with thought and language in an intrinsic relation between man and society; of Radford’ cultural objectification, which presents the formation of man in a cyclical process from the cultural aspects, and Peirces’ Semiotic, which presents the process of semiosis for the construction of ideas; and also of the theories that discuss mathematical education and the education of the deaf. For the record of the information about the object under study, In order to record the information about the object under study, I used as an investigative instrument the semistructured video interview and observations in locus, and for the analysis of the empirical material I used the Discursive Textual Analysis, considering the axes: 1- The social context in the communicative process of mathematical education; 2 - The interfaces of communication in mathematics education; 3 - Elements that limit mathematical learning; 4 - Potential aspects of mathematical learning. The plot analyzed revealed to me that, although legislation exists that supports education for the inclusion of the deaf student, educational practices (family and school) distanced themselves from this ideal, since deaf people are still victims of social invisibility. The perceptions of the protagonists denounce the lack of sensitivity of both parents and educators on the respect to the deaf culture, whose results channel to the need of formation not only in the academic sense, but in practice, that crosses the cultural aspect and why not Ideological, this is the need for a curricular reformulation. As a contribution of this study to society, a digital guidance material will be made available, in which the deaf students themselves participating in the research suggest to mathematics teachers to improve their practices.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Sentidos e significados de eletromagnetismo: a relação entre eletricidade e magnetismo situados em uma perspectiva histórica compreendida no período de 1820 a 1831(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-05-24) VAZ, Rodrigo Pinheiro; Parente, Andrela Garibaldi Loureiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0934892702963831; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3396-700XItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Argumentação no ensino de ciências e temas controversos: possibilidades para pensar a embriologia nas aulas da educação básica(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-05-24) SILVA, Rider Moura da; VIEIRA, Eduardo Paiva de Pontes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2902323640527915; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1641-7014Embryology is a present subject in elementary and high school classes and its possibilities to present and promote discussions related to the development of vertebrates would justify its importance in basic education. The approach, however, can be notoriously boring, both for teachers and students, specially, when the teaching of concepts is mechanically guided. The presence of "embryology" in didactic material usually does not relate issues inherent to the process of knowledge construction or its controversies. In this perspective, we defend the possibility that teachers of science and biology develop with their students, teaching practices based on the argumentation and the discussion of controversial issues associated to embryonic development. The argumentation is particularly important in science education, assuming that scientific research generates and justifies the production of knowledge, as well as allowing articulation with other systems of thought in the understanding of natural phenomena and the social and cultural interactions. The embryonic development, notably that of the human species, enables and supports the understanding of the causes of congenital malformations, also the interactions and care in the process by which the embryo forms and develops, also the possibilities or impossibilities of therapeutic treatments from embryonic cells and goes beyond, creates discussions within the philosophy of the biological sciences, the definers of the beginning and the end of life. We consider relevant the innovation of teaching practices when embryology is approached, widely discussed nowadays and witnessed in the media in aspects that extend from teenage pregnancy to the biotechnological development, such as the pill of the next day, the use of the embryonic stem cells, the surgical methods for sterilization, among others. The teaching of sciences is a rich subject for practices that guarantee, from contextualized actions and far from mere proof of concepts, an intellectual formation allied with contemporaneity and that trains people who have the capacity to deal with socially significant issues. The argumentation in science teaching through controversial subjects is an outlook that should not be neglected in issues such as embryonic development, indeed, it is possible to think in research projects in education that result in the production of didactic materials related to the current demands and that increasingly articulate scientific knowledge, social organization and legislative proposals.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ensino de função: sua compreensão e possibilidades de ação a partir de múltiplos olhares(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-06-28) BARROS, Soraia das Neves; SILVA, Neivaldo Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6114611549541660The present study has the theme of Functional Teaching and as an object of investigation the teaching and learning difficulties of the subject, having as a perspective the indication of possibilities of action from the looks of scholars, authors of books, teachers and students , From the perspective of the researcher and her experience teaching mathematics. My intention is to analyze the theme, seeking to understand its historical process of construction, analyze books produced and adopted in schools, listen to teachers who work with role teaching and students of these teachers, so that their experiences, wishes, doubts, difficulties and expectations Can also be considered, all aiming to identify difficulties, possibilities and trends, in terms of teaching function to, from there, define principles and guidelines for Teaching Role and this be translated in the form of a teaching product to be presented As a teaching proposal of the theme Function, more specifically, Function Afim. To this end, after a brief description of my training trajectory, I propose a reflexive study on the historical construction of the theme Function, on teaching proposals of Function present in textbooks, results of studies on the subject and on practices of teachers from their Considering the problem of research that concerns the teaching and learning difficulties in the middle level related to the topic Function and I finish by establishing principles for the Teaching of Function and materializing these principles in Cadernos for the Teaching of Function, destined to teachers who work with the theme. The qualitative research is based on Garnica (2004) and was defined in two stages, with the first one, with a bibliographical character, being configured as a diagnostic, descriptive character and performed in three moments, being finalized through a study of the Type of state, based on Fiorentini and Lorenzato (2006). In the second stage, the research is configured in the narrative mode, using the comprehensive interview, from Kaufmann's (1996) perspective, in describing them, according to Moraes & Galiazzi (2007) and in their analysis, from emerging categories Denominated by Moraes (2003). The two stages allowed the identification of principles for the teaching of Function, which are: The teaching and learning process of the topic Function should have as a first reference the previous knowledge of the students in relation to the subject; Understanding must precede formalization; The proposition of introductory activities to the Teaching of Function should have as reference the reality of the students; Students' participation in their learning is a necessary condition in order to make it a personal process in which learning becomes mathematical; The approach to activities must take place in a broad way and allow the connection with other areas of knowledge and diversity in the adoption of Methodological Trends should be a characteristic of the Pedagogical Practice. The principles were then taken as the main references for the elaboration of a proposal of teaching of Function called Cadernos for the Teaching of Function, destined to teachers that act with the teaching of the subject, in which the conceptual understanding of Function , Based on daily activities, on the gradual formalization of the theme and on the consolidation of learning.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Produção de audiovisual sobre a aprendizagem baseada em problemas: passos de sua constituição em um curso de férias em Mãe do Rio (PA)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-07-01) ARNAUD, Orlando Temistocles Cruz; MALHEIRO, João Manoel da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7502225344402729In the last three decades, didactic audiovisual has been consolidating as an important pedagogical instrument for teaching science, being potentialized when combined with new methodologies such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL). This research aims to identify the characteristics of the PBL manifested in the dynamics of the Vacation Course and produce an audiovisual. For the constituting of the video, the videotapes of the interactions between a Teacher-coordinator, two monitors and six students of the basic education participants of a Vacation Course occurred in Mãe do Rio (PA) were used. The research presents a qualitative approach, with participant observer. The audiovisual was evaluated by six teachers and two specialists through questionnaires, which are presented in Appendices A and B, in which they present seven questions, six of which are subjective and one of multiple choice. The answers were based on the reference of Malheiro (2005) to the PBL, while the categories and indicators were based on the works of Cabero (2001) and Gomes (2008). The interpretations from the questionnaires indicate that the stages of the PBL are evident in the video and that its content contributes to educators to develop the methodology in the classroom. In addition, the audiovisual is appropriate to begin the study of the subject on group of fish. The tutorials make clear how to develop the PBL present in the audiovisual, which, in turn, pedagogically promotes improvements in teachers' classes. The categories and indicators analyzed were evaluated, for the most part, as positive and satisfactory, they are: sufficiency of the amount of information; size of the graphic elements: photos, subtitles, etc; technical and aesthetic quality of the visual elements; dialogues; technical and aesthetic quality of ambient sound, vignettes and audio/locution; inclusion of elements to highlight important elements; adequate and sufficient video duration; allows complementary activities at the same time of class; valuation of exposure, discussion, criticism or practice/application; creation of learning situations is facilitated; pedagogical proposal appropriate to the target audience.
