Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ações de educação ambiental na sensibilização da qualidade da água para consumo humano no assentamento Palmares, no município de Araguatins, Tocantins(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-05-22) LIMA, Lílian Natália Ferreira de; SILVA, Cleber Silva e; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7673237583688618The importance of assessing the quality of water for human consumption is based on the fact that it is one of the main vehicles of infectious diseases. The objective of this research was to evaluate the quality of the water for human consumption, by means of the physical, chemical and microbiological characterization of the water of open and closed wells of the settlement Palmares, Araguatins (TO) and to develop an educational campaign based on the results obtained in the study, based on environmental education. The physical, chemical and microbiological parameters were collected during the period from October 16 to 20 in two wells of the settlement, using the multiparameter probe, turbidimeter, Ph meter, thermometer. The results obtained were compared with the resolution of the Ministry of Health nº 2.914 of 12/12/2011. The analyzed data of the wells of the settlement Palmares indicate that there is change in the behavior of some parameters. These changes were observed in the values of salinity (NaCl) that presented concentrations above the maximum concentrations allowed by Ministerial Order Nº 2.914 of 12/12/2011, the analysis of variance did not recognize the existence of significant differences between the collections of the mean values of the campaigns sampled from all groundwater parameters of the open and closed wells studied, indicating that there were no methodological errors, accepting the null hypothesis. According to Ordinance Nº 2.914/11/MS, results obtained in this study were unfit for human consumption, since the values of salinity, pH and E coli did not meet the potability standards, indicating contamination by organic matter. Still, it is concluded that the families of the palm groves are consuming water outside the potability standards stipulated by the Brazilian legislation and that the improvement of the quality of the water offered goes through the diffusion of sanitation technologies and the use of efficient methodologies for environmental education of the inhabitants of the settlements.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ações educativas à proteção e conservação dos mananciais Bolonha e Água Preta do Parque do Utinga.(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-09-28) SANTOS, ALTEMAR PEREIRA DOS; SANTOS, DAVIS CASTRO DOS; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7784257182257171; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0375-6949.Faced with the complex environmental context that we experience today, this study proposes to highlight the problem of solid waste in the school environment, considering that basic education institutions are configured as a space for the community, for cognitive and social development, responsible for the formation of their students, and the environment is conducive to the dissemination of awareness for the preservation of the environment. That said, the present research seeks to promote environmental education through the construction of ludic pedagogical teaching material, starting from the problem of urban solid waste. The target audience will be students from the 5th year of Elementary School at the Rotary Municipal School, located in the Condor neighborhood, on the outskirts of Belém-Pa. The aim is, with the applied methodology, to instigate the interest of the students in the issue, to build a competition that can approach the theme in a playful and productive way and, finally. To elaborate an educational product (game script) that can disseminate the proposal to other InstitutionsItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) A arquitetura dos espaços pedagógicos como instrumento de ensino das ciências ambientais: um estudo de caso realizado em Ipixuna do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-12-05) PEREIRA, William Marques; SILVA, Cléber Silva e; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7673237583688618; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7086-8751The present study was developed in E.M.E.F Maria Pereira Freire, located in center neighborhood, urban area from Ipixuna county, belonging to the northeast of Pará, to a distance of nearly 250 km from Belém, and have as intent come up with adjustments in the architecture of the physical spaces with new dimension for pedagogical environments so that the natural resources can be relished as a way to optimize the teaching of environmental sciences in the basic education. It was suggested to implant a architecture model that seeks to value the environment through the insertion of biophilic design with the creation of learning spaces that use the interdisciplinarity to increase the environmental teaching in the basic education, through the relation of human-nature. Has been shown to this academy department how they can use the rooms inside the school to improve projects that develop environment education, in order to be possible to, in a primary education, search for an awareness of the students and that can be reflected in a more sustainable society. In this analysis was used the action research method, with qualitative-quantitative analysis, between a bibliographic review and data collection and analysis. For the data collection a quiz semi-structured was applied for the teachers. In the matter of the elaboration of the educational environment product, was used specific softwares (AutoCad, Sketchup and V-ray). The process of validation happened with a presentation of project images and the application of the quiz headed to two groups: the teachers and engineering professionals. After the validation, realized that is in complete agreement the implementation of this technical educational product. Subsequently, this product will be suggested to the municipal public administration so that its implementation serves as a pilot project for other schools in the municipality.Item Desconhecido Às margens da cidade: trajetórias, possibilidades e práticas de educação ambiental geradas pela Casa Escola da Pesca em Belém - PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-06-12) CORRÊA, Edilzane Almeida; LAUTERT, Luiz Fernando de Carli; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1124000795676509; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537When addressing the theme of City Marks: Trajectories, Possibilities and Environmental Education Practices generated by Casa Escola da Pesca, we sought to emphasize what conditions are necessary through efficient public policies, to improve the quality of life of the people of the waters, the population who have rights and need to be more recognized. In this way, education is fundamental in this change, as it has the capacity to transform this reality for the better. The object of the research, as already mentioned above, was reported to Casa Escola da Pesca, a school with a differentiated curriculum focused on fishing and aquaculture for young and adult children of fishermen from the island region of Belém. It works in a semi- boarding school and belongs to Fundação Escola Bosque Professor Eidorfe Moreira. Casa Escola is located in the neighborhood of Itaiteua, on the island of Caratateua and has already served a significant number of students from the most varied islands in this capital. We sought to analyze in an interdisciplinary context the way that environmental education is inserted and addressed in everyday experiences, and what influence it has on the lives of these students. As a methodology, a cut was made of the islands served by the institution in only two: the Caratateua Islands and the Cotijuba Island. In order to collect essential data for the research, we chose the interview method with six direct questions, because considering the number of students already graduated from Casa Escola, the number of interviewees was limited to only twenty. Male graduates from the first classes of Elementary and Technical Education were selected, considering that the school started only with young men and adults. When analyzing the bibliographic data collected, we developed as a final product, a Pedagogical Guide for the Teacher of the Natural Sciences discipline, based on the pedagogical fortnights developed at Casa Escola da Pesca. This product aims to guide the work of the teacher who is on the most different islands of the island region of Belém and who, most of the time, does not find accessible resources to develop his activities in class and extra class. The Guide is illustrated with images focused on the reality experienced by the residents of the riverside communities, also having a language accessible to the target audience, young people and adults from elementary school in the final grades.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Atividades físicas coletivas para a terceira idade: o uso dos três momentos pedagógicos em contextos ambientais(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-05-28) SILVA, José Augusto Baeta e; SILVA, Ronaldo Adriano Ribeiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2020211060475648; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-4974-4620According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO), the number of people over the age of 60 will reach 2 billion in 2050. As a preventive measure against the ills that affect elderly people, including those caused by environmental factors, find-physical activity, defined by the WHO as any bodily movement produced by skeletal muscles that requires energy expenditure. This research aimed to investigate the perceptions of elderly people about the relationships that exist in quality of life, health promotion and environmental conditions. The study was developed with 17 elderly people enrolled and participating in the Extension Program of the University of the Elderly – UNITERCI, on the Campus of the Federal University of Pará, in Belém. As a data collection instrument, a semi-structured questionnaire was used, containing approaches to health, style of life and environment. The work was developed through a Didactic Sequence, using the Three Pedagogical Moments Methodology. The study supported the development of a technical educational product, called “Pedagogical Notebook: didactic sequence of collective physical activities for seniors in environmental contexts”. The results showed that the elderly use their free time in search of activities that bring them personal satisfaction and that they are recognized as practice when seeking quality of life. Another relevant aspect was the recognition of UNITERCI as a welcoming and necessary institution for the lives of elderly people and the importance of outdoor activities as a contribution to health and the preservation of natural resources. Therefore, it is necessary to urgently carry out studies and public policies that can minimize the harmful effects of climate change that interfere with the quality of life of elderly people.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Brinquedos sustentáveis como instrumentos de ensino de Ciências Ambientais(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-06-10) CORDOVIL, Franklen dos Santos; ROCHA, Edson José Paulino da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2313369423727020This paper aims to point out the subsidies provided by the reuse of disposable / low cost materials, in particular, paper, cardboard, PET bottles, among others, to make sustainable toys that collaborate in the teaching-learning process, especially during the teaching classes. within the school environment, thus acting as promoters of environmental science teaching. Thus, it is suggested that practical educational activities adopted here about scientific education, environmental education, and sustainability in the form of instructional material contribute to its relevance to change the attitudes of users from these toys. Regarding the methodology this work was developed in three stages: initially a theoretical foundation was made on the subject in question through research in specialized bibliographies; In the next step a preliminary questionnaire was elaborated that leads the questioner to reflect on provocative questions used for the elaboration of the technical product, the guide of making sustainable toys, through the expert panel methodology. Then, the questionnaires, once applied, were returned immediately after obtaining the answers. With the application of these questionnaires we tried to unite the pedagogical considerations pointed out by the teachers. As a data analysis instrument we used the content analysis technique in order to interpret important information about the perception of experts. Later, in the third stage, a second batch of questionnaires were reapplied in order to analyze the efficiency of sustainable toys in the study. And at the end, the teachers (the panel of experts) invited to this study, after reevaluation and validation of this proposal, approved the final version of the technical product presented here.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Consumo racional da água: uso de sequência didática no ambiente escolar(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-06-03) FURTADO, Simone Carvalho de Souza; ROCHA , Edson José Paulino da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2313369423727020; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537Water is increasingly showing itself as a finite and vital natural resource for human existence, as it is a substance that participates in most natural and industrial processes. Current estimates of use and inadequate consumption of this resource, considering waste and contamination, reveal that in a few years the world will face a significant deficit in water supply. According to data from the Ministry of the Environment and the National Information and Sanitation System, waste in the country is around 38% of treated water, in some regions such as the North and Northeast, an index that can exceed 50%, in addition to contamination of rivers and lakes that contribute to increase this water stress. In this sense, the research proposes to contribute significantly to the teaching of Environmental Sciences with regard to the theme of water, with the general objective of proposing a Didactic Sequence (SD) to address the theme "Rational Consumption of Drinking Water" for assist in the teaching- learning process with teachers and students of the 4th and 5th years of Elementary School held at EEEFM Izabel dos Santos Dias in Icoaraci, district of the municipality of Belém - PA. The research was carried out through the qualitative approach, using semi-structured interviews for school managers and coordinators and structured questionnaires for teachers and students for data collection. This research was based on the conception of learning that is guided by a Historical-cultural approach to human development, based on the Socio- interactionism of Lev Vygotsky and on the teaching methodological proposal through Dolz Didactic Sequence , Noverraz and Schneuwly. The final results pointed to the need to encourage students to think about the environment as an extension of their life and that their individual and collective actions directly interfere in this process of preserving natural resources and the environment. Water should be treated as a natural, finite and fundamental element for survival, taking care not to waste this resource in daily practice, favoring its rational consumption. It is concluded that the Didactic Sequence is in fact an efficient educational product to address the theme of rational water consumption, as well as other themes in the elementary school space; in addition to constituting a strategy that values students' prior knowledge, which also helps teachers in working with the school curriculum, aiming at this dialogue between School and Community, as it contributes towards making a correlation and associating the problems experienced daily, whether basic sanitation, violence, misuse of water or its culture, within a larger world context that involves several socio-environmental and socio-cultural factors in the teaching-learning process of students and teachers working in Basic Education in the count.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Correntezas da leitura: navegando pelos fanzines ambientais na educação de jovens adultos e idosos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-08-30) CAMPOS, Lúcia Pantoja Gonçalves; KETTLE, Wesley Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9421187953739248Fanzines are small books or magazines that can be produced without bureaucracy and by anyone who might be interested. Their production deserves to be highlighted for having a creative, artistic and authorial dimension, being low cost and non-profit. Thanks to their simple and inexpensive method, their production gains relevance, especially because they can cover any theme or subject. Thus, this work aimed to develop a didactic-pedagogical guide to assist in the production of fanzines on the theme of water resources for EJAI students, in the pedagogical space of the school library, aiming to contribute to the interdisciplinary teaching of environmental sciences and to the formation of the reader, considering the educational method proposed by Paulo Freire (2021) and the socio-interactionist approach of Lev Vygotsky (1991). The proposal follows the production of fanzines supported by (re)reading, discussion of the theme and writing, considering the life experiences of the student, reinforcing their creativity, autonomy and historical condition. The methodology adopted was qualitative, with a descriptive approach. The project was approved by the Research Ethics Committee (CEP) of Plataforma Brasil, under CAAE: 74208223.8.0000.0018 and the research was developed in the library of a public school of the state education system, in Belém/PA, in the 2nd stage class of the EJAI high school at night. The script proposed here is aimed at stimulating the practice of reading, writing and creativity of students for the elaboration of fanzines as an instrument of systematization of knowledge and a vehicle of social interaction. The script proposed here is aimed at stimulating the practice of reading, writing and creativity of students for the creation of fanzines as an instrument for systematizing knowledge and a vehicle for social interaction, making it clear that through fanzines it is possible to awaken the interest of EJAI students and enhance the teaching of environmental sciences through (re)reading, discussion and artistic creation, using the school library environment.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Divulgação da década das ciências oceânicas na costa paraense através da aplicação de uma sequência didática.(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-09-29) MOTA, Lucílio Lopes; GODOY, Sara Gurfinkel Marques de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3676165040937391; MARTINELLI FILHO, José Eduardo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2080628833884538The Pará state coast is formed by a rich mosaic of ecosystems, predominantly consisting of sandbanks and mangroves influenced by the Amazon River, as well as channels and islands. The region boasts high biodiversity and requires urgent protection due to environmental impacts such as siltation, erosion, overfishing, and mangrove depletion. In this context, the United Nations (UN) launched the Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (Ocean Decade - 2021 to 2030), with a focus on Sustainable Development Goal 14 (Life Below Water) of the 2030 Agenda. However, a pressing issue observed today relates to anthropogenic pressure and its consequences on the coastal zone. With the aim of promoting sustainable ocean education for public schools in the region, we employed a qualitative-quantitative methodology in the municipality of São João da Ponta, taking advantage of the regional specificity. For the project's purpose, the ocean was pedagogically and didactically used as a generative theme in the Freirean language in the classroom, always seeking to connect it to the students' reality in the adjacent coastal zone. To validate the research, we developed a booklet on ocean culture, used within a didactic sequence inspired by original UNESCO materials but adapted to the coastal ocean culture of the region. In the classroom, a questionnaire with 10 questions on ocean-related topics was administered before and after the execution of the lessons. Two 9th-grade classes (A and B) from the same school were chosen, with one class having the questionnaire and six lessons, and the other class having the questionnaire and the same lessons with the support of the ocean culture booklet. After a statistical analysis of the questionnaires answered by the classes, it was observed that in Class A, where the booklet was introduced, occurred there was a significant increase in correct answers compared to Class B. This indicated a positive relationship between the use of the booklet in lessons as a fundamental tool for teaching and promoting awareness of the Decade of Ocean Science.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A educação ambiental como apoio ao manuseio e tratamento dos resíduos sólidos em comunidades ribeirinhas: estudo de caso em Abaetetuba-PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-06-24) SANTOS, Albenita Ribeiro dos; LUCZYNSKI, Estanislau; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9749970886455933One of the major environmental concerns of contemporary society is the consequences that excessive consumption of products of industrial origin has on nature, especially the destination given after their use, this concern is observed in both urban and rural areas. The Abaetetuba-PA riverside communities are among those facing serious problems in the disposal of solid waste, giving them convenient but inadequate treatment. In this sense, this work was carried out in public schools of three riverside communities in the city, from January to December 2018, whose objective was to analyze the practice of Environmental Education as a motivator of sustainable actions regarding the proper use and handling of waste. solid. The research is qualitative and quantitative and participated in the work students of 8th and 9th grade of elementary school. Questionnaires were applied and pedagogical practices were developed, such as lectures, extracurricular activities, workshops and the elaboration of an environmental education booklet. The results were positive and are presented through graphs and tables. It was found that, before the activities, more than half of the students of the three schools, about 70%, were unaware of concepts such as sustainability, environmental education, solid waste, among others, and found the correct destination that their community was giving to household waste, as well as certain old practices of the population such as burning of waste. After the pedagogical activities we can notice the change of mentality in these students. With the knowledge acquired and through the introduction of environmental education, 90% of students thought and acted in a sustainable manner, even condemning any practice that could endanger the environment and their quality of life. Thus, they began to look for alternatives that could alleviate the consequences of improper disposal of solid waste. In addition, they began to bring information from their relatives and those interested in the topic, which until then was known to few. With this, they become multipliers of sustainable actions, contributing to the maintenance of their quality of life. Through an interview with the representative of the Secretariat of the Environment, we learned about projects aimed at minimizing the problem of solid waste disposal on the Abaetetuba Islands and the environmental booklet contributed to promote reflection and motivate the student to new ecological practices. The expected result is that new booklets will be produced and worked with students from all grades in both urban and rural areas of other municipalities and thus expand the practice of environmental education for the protection and preservation of the environment.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Educação ambiental e interdisciplinaridade: da formação inicial à prática pedagógica na educação básica(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-11-14) AVELAR, Marcilene Calandrine de; LAUTERT, Luiz Fernando de Carli; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1124000795676509; SILVA, Marilena Loureiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7261982145077537Theinsertion of environmental education (EE) in an interdisciplinary and permanent manner has been a real challenge for the educational system, both in higher and basic education, since the creation of the National Policy of Environmental Education, Law 9795/99. However, attempts have been made over those yearsto fertilize an approach in the theoretical field and its practical implementation, oriented by the contextualization, articulation and resignification of environmental knowledges. Based on this, this research aims to recognize the existence and organization of EE in the curriculum of the PARFOR-Pedagogia-UFPA (National Plan for the Training of Basic Education Teachers, Pedagogy, Federal University of Pará) course and its contributions tothe application of interdisciplinary pedagogical practices at São Miguel Municipal School in Abaetetuba/PA. The theoretical discourse is based on the concepts of EE on the conservationist, pragmatic and critical emancipator macrotrends for understanding the complexity of environmental issues, according to authors Loureiro and Layrargues, Leff, Morin, among other authors who deal with the subject. Regarding the type of research, action research with a qualitative approach was chosen. For data collection, a documentary analysis was first made in the Pedagogical Political Project of the Course (PPC), followed by a questionnaire for 30 teachers/students from the PARFOR-Pedagogia-UFPA, and for the investigation of the pedagogical practice in the basic education, the systematic observation of the pedagogical practices at School. The results were systematized through mental maps and point to a gradual change in the insertion of EE in the higher education curriculum and the conception of the importance of effective interdisciplinary practices in basic education, although there are still gaps throughout the educational process. These findings were fundamental for the elaboration of the research product that consisted of an interactive and interdisciplinary paradidactic book of Environmental Education, elaborated together with two teachers and twenty-two students of themultigrade class of the 4th and 5th grade from elementary school I of São Miguel Municipal School in Abaetetuba/PA. The validation of the paradidactic book was made through a questionnaire applied to the 30 participating teachers/students and another 10 teachers from a municipal school in Ananindeua/PA. The results showed that the book is an interdisciplinary didactic resource, with potential applicability in different contexts and that will enable the student to learn significantly in relation to socio-environmentalissues.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Educação ambiental e prática pedagógica: estratégias para o uso racional da água em uma escola pública do município de Santo Antônio do Tauá/Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-12-07) BOUTH, Raimundo Nonato de Souza; ARAUJO, Maria Ludetana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0282298023451578Environmental Education and its pedagogical practices, when worked in an interdisciplinary way and based on critical macro trends, are mechanisms indicated to lead the school community to think and propose effective solutions to problems that are affecting or that will affect the availability of water, such as scarcity, waste and pollution. This research was developed in the only full-time state high school, in the municipality of Santo Antônio do Tauá, in Pará, and was based on the following question: How can Environmental Education and its pedagogical practices be instruments for rational use of water in the municipality of Santo Antônio do Tauá? Regarding the objectives, the research methodology is descriptive, when its approach is qualitative, using technical bibliographic and documentary procedures supported by data collection through a mixed questionnaire applied to 17 teachers who work with 1st year high school classes. full time, in addition to field research. The results obtained indicate a lack of knowledge on the part of the target audience about the macrotrends of Environmental Education and a lack of interdisciplinary pedagogical practices in Environmental Education, consequently without materiality to generate sustainable and critical attitudes in the school community about problems related to water and the need of its rational use. To seek improvements and organization in pedagogical practice during Environmental Education classes, in particular, when approaching the object of knowledge water and its context in SDG 6, an educational product was created based on a Didactic Sequence (SD) entitled “If It’s water, I’ll take care of it”, based on the theory of problematization through the Arco de Marguerez, a strategy validated by teachers and included in the Pedagogical Political Project to be a constant pedagogical practice at school.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Educação empreendedora e transformadora no ensino médio: (Re) aproveitamento de resíduos sólidos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-05-22) MOREIRA, Auricilene Gomes; RIBEIRO, Karla Tereza Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2654817572738748; GODOY, Sara Gurfinkel Marques de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3676165040937391This study investigates teachers' perceptions of entrepreneurial education and its integration with solid waste management in high schools, highlighting the importance of environmental sustainability and the development of skills for the 21st century. Based on these documents, the concept of Sustainable Development is consecrated as the great focus of this century, together with the eradication of poverty. Based on the need to know and study the definitions, Principles and environmental laws in schools, and the lack of teaching material related to the subject in this space, it was the proposal to create this resource, provided that it is easy to understand, to be used in an interdisciplinary way. The starting point for reaching the proposed goal was the application of dichotomous questionnaires in schools of public basic education and vocational education in Belém (Pará). Then, a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the collected data was carried out with the help of theoretical references related to the environmental theme. During the research it was verified that a great part of students and teachers do not know the basic notions of environmental law nor the structure and functioning of SISNAMA, however they showed interest and curiosity in learning about the subject, especially when the pilot of the primer was presented with notions environmental law in a simplified form. Based on the data obtained, a booklet was elaborated with basic notions of Law 6.938 / 81 establishing the PNMA.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ensino de ciências ambientais: desenvolvendo um recurso pedagógico a partir do tema gerador água(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-02-19) MENDES, Milene Pereira; SILVA, Cleber Silva e; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7673237583688618; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7086-8751This study aimed to develop a methodological proposal based on the generative theme "water" and from it build a pedagogical resource in order to promote learning, generate reflections and stimulate the critical sense of students about environmental issues. In this sense, the work that is outlined as a case study and has a quali-quantitative approach was developed in a school from the private school network. The research subjects were 17 basic education teachers and 150 students divided into experimental and control classes. The technique for collecting data applied to teachers and students used the questionnaire as a research tool. Besides the questionnaires, two observation boards were used. Based on the results obtained, it was possible to verify that although in the conception of all teachers the approach to water is relevant, not all feel prepared to do it. It was also found that although most consider the use of games as a pedagogical resource to be relevant, not all make use of them in their classes; the use of games being observed during the survey by only 20% of the teachers. About the students, the study showed that educational proposals based on the generative theme "water" are able to facilitate and contribute to learning. The results, however, were significantly more expressive in the classes where the game was applied. It is thus shown that educational games are relevant in basic education because they are able to enhance learning and contribute significantly when included in educational practices. From the application of the educational product, it is also shown that the game was able to stimulate, fundamentally, the participation and arouse the interest of the groups of students involved.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Um estudo de caso a respeito da práxis da Educação Ambiental na E.M.E.I.F. In this sense, the aim of this research is to understand how Environmental Education has been worked on in the school environment at “Dr. Ulysses Guimarães” elementary school, located in the municipality of Altamira-Pa. The research methodology will be based on a bibliographical survey of official data and theories specific to Environmental Education; data collection, through the application of questionnaires directed at students, teachers and school management; analysis of the data collected. As a result of the research, an educational product entitled "Environmental Education Primer for young environmental agents" will be developed, focusing on the environmental training of students so that in the future they can play the role of collaborators and reproducers of actions for the protection of the environment, working on sensitization, environmental education, citizenship and awareness. The Educational Product was tested for five days in the Year 8 A class, and after the application period it was evaluated by four teachers so that it could be validated. The evaluation took place using a Validation Form distributed to each evaluating teacher. At the end, the Educational Product received an E (Excellent) grade and was unanimously approved. There was an increase in the interest of both students and teachers in environmental issues after the application of the educational product. It was a stimulus for both teachers and students, and both committed themselves to building other models of educational products that can help in the classroom and in the teaching-learning process.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O extrato de açaí como indicador ácido-base: um manual didático para experimentos com água de chuva no ensino de química(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-06-26) MACEDO, Adriana Costa; PEREIRA, Simone de Fátima Pinheiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6059412003152989; 6059412003152989Natural extracts can be obtained from various sources such as purple cabbage, beet, grape and açaí. And they serve as acid-base indicators because they contain a substance called anthocyanin and can be used in chemistry classes. One way to use them is in the analysis of rainwater, to verify the presence of acidity and consequently the formation of rain acid, a phenomenon that can be intensified with the presence of industries and / or presence of large flow of automobiles. In order to work on these issues, a didactic manual addressing these issues was constructed. It consists of: a brief summary on the acid and base teaching; natural indicators; industrial urban activity; the use of the acid rain theme in chemistry classes; the industrial pole of Barcarena. It also has a didactic sequence with a script of theoretical and practical classes. For the practical classes is presented an experimental kit with a highlight for the color change of natural dyes, rich in anthocyanins, which can be used as pH indicators. Contextualizing the Amazon region, the alcoholic extract of açaí was used for the assembly of this kit that was applied in the determination of acidity of rainwater and household materials. The acidity determined in the samples of rainwater may be related to the intense industrial activity in the region of Barcarena. The manual was applied in a 1st grade class with forty students from Jesus Barros Pereira Elementary School and Middle School Acy, where they answered questions before and after the application of the theoretical and experimental classes and the result showed that there was an improvement of the understanding and absorption of the concepts presented there. This methodology was presented to five professors of Chemistry of the state education network, who were enrolled in Barcarena schools. Teachers unanimously evaluated the proposed methodology by stating that they will use it in their chemistry classes. The use of the didactic manual evidenced the importance of applying experimental methods to provide the student with a more effective teaching-learning.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Igarapés amazônicos e seus usos para recreação e lazer: uma proposta de ensino investigativo para alunos do curso técnico em meio ambiente(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-10-01) ROCHA, Cristiane de Almeida Belém; FRANÇA, Jessika Paiva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6056182612110122; HTTPS://ORCID.ORG/0000-0002-0201-8867; FERREIRA, Cristiane de Paula; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7804816854015308The Amazonian streams are aquatic ecosystems with multiple uses, including recreation/leisure. In the Amazon region, streams with this purpose are called resorts, and structures are installed in them that cause environmental impacts that can vary depending on the degree of anthropization of the location. To assess such impacts, Rapid Habitat Assessment Protocols (PARH) are excellent resources for the environmental diagnosis of aquatic ecosystems, since they are low-cost and do not require specialized labor. Our objective is to analyze the environmental vision that students of technical education in the environment have in relation to the Amazonian streams and to expand scientific knowledge about the ecology and impacts of resort installations on these ecosystems. To achieve the proposed objective, an investigative teaching proposal was conducted for students in the 2nd year of Integrated High School (EMI)-Environmental Technician, at EETEPA Vilhena Alves in Belém, PA, organized in five stages: i) survey of previous ideas, ii) brainstorming, iii) theoretical class, iv) practical field class, v) evaluative questionnaire. As a result, an Investigative Didactic Sequence (IDS) was developed, which is a methodological strategy to evaluate, together with students in technical training, the degree of human interference in the streams used as bathing areas in the Amazon region. This strategy promotes technical and professional training, raising community awareness to recognize and take significant measures to mitigate the degradation of natural habitats. Additionally, it serves as a pedagogical resource capable of promoting and expanding the teaching of environmental sciences in the Amazon region.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Importância ambiental e socioeconômica dos sistemas de sombreamento de cacauais: um estudo de caso em Uruará-PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-04-29) ARAÚJO, Ailton; SILVA, Maristela Marques da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1620976380900108; BOSCHILIA, Solana Meneghel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6512542852817389; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0038-6666The Theobroma cacao is an Amazonian tree species. It belongs to the canopy layer in the forest, it is shade tolerant and it grows well in the agroforestry system. The cacao crops began in the region of Transamazon and Xingu in the seventies and since then, the area has presented growth. Nowadays, the State of Pará became the largest producer of cacao in Brazil. The study promoted an increase of knowledge of the students of the Community School Casa Familiar Rural of the city Uruará, Brazil, known as CFRU, through the training course about the importance of the cacao production system. Along with the training course, we used the qualitative approach through circles of conversation and questionnaire to raise information over the knowledge that the students have about the importance of the trees used to shade the cacao crops. Also, this primary contact was to identify other uses of the trees, leading to the benefit to the family and investment in the properties. The quantitative approach was used in the sampling of environmental, socioeconomic, and floristic data in the properties of the student ́s families of the CFRU. The course promotes the students to understand and realize most environmental problems and that they are compromising theirs owns farms. The students were aware that measures need to be done to control the advance of these problems, and they know that too little has been done to minimize them. In the cacao crops, it was identified more than 56 species of native trees that have been planted or regenerated from the budding of logs or germination of seeds. All the tree species sampled had environmental or socio-economic importance to the owners of the land. It was observed the presence of many animal species that use the system in search of shelter or food. Among the tree species that farmers introduce in the cacao crop, most of them are Amazonian native species, and some are endemic. Some species have a risk of extinction, therefore, being part of the cacao agroforestry system, they are protected. There are water springs and igarapes being protected by these trees, which reduce the siltation caused by the floods. Completing the course, 20 tree species, that promote shade over the cacao, were selected to be part of a book, which is the outcome of this dissertation. The production of cacao by the familiar agriculture, in the region of Transamazon and Xingu, it is not only an income source but has, as well, a relevant environmental and socio-economic importance, with agroforestry features. This ecosystem, formed by the union of cacao production and the amazon trees, which promotes shading, contributes to the conservation and preservation of many species, including animals and other plants.
