The research analyze which guidelines are contained in official municipal documents with regards to teaching and assessment in LEC, to describe the assessment practices developed by teachers in this context, to analyze the integration of these practices with LEC's teaching and learning goals, and to indicate pointers to make the assessment of learning practices more effective, theoretically and methodologically. To achieve the proposed objectives, a qualitative documentary study was conducted. We analyzed the official documents that guide teaching and assessment in LEC, 220 student development reports, which are recommended assessment tool for this school level, as well as interviews and questionnaires given to 14 teachers working in this context. The theoretical framework is based on the contributions of Cameron (2001), Strecht-Ribeiro (2005) and Scott and Ytreberg (1990) regarding the teaching and learning of LEC, as well as the discussion of some aspects of assessment of learning (HADJI, 1994, 2007; BONNIOL; VIAL, 2001; FERNANDES, 2009; PERRENOUD, 1999) and assessment of learning in LEC (MCKAY, 2006; IOANNOU-GEORGIOU 2011; SHAABAN, 2001). For data analysis, we used the Content Analysis technique (ROSA, 2013). The analysis results indicate a lack of coherence between the assessment practices and the teaching goals and principles in LEC. The data also reveal a lack of training for teaching, assessing and designing syllabus in LEC, combined with a known tendency to prioritize structural aspects in the teaching of foreign languages, instead of communicative activities. Finally, this study shows the need to promote other studies that investigate the assessment practices used in LEC, as well as the urgency to define official national guidelines for teaching and assessment that take into account the characteristics and needs of the children within this context.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Crônicas portuguesas em jornais paraenses na segunda metade do século XIX (1860-1870)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008-10-14) RODRIGUES, Almir Pantoja; SALES, Germana Maria Araújo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8723885160615840Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Espaço e memória em o Vice-Cônsul de Marguerite Duras(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010-08-31) BARBOSA, Dayse Cristina Silva; GOLDER, Christophe; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9935927460684420Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A face do caos: a crônica de guerra em Guimarães Rosa(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-04-27) BARBOSA, Waldete Freitas; HOLANDA, Sílvio Augusto de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0928175455054278João Guimarães Rosa’s anthology, Ave, palavra, was posthumously published in 1970. It is a compilation of 54 texts described by the author as a “miscellany”, a collection of travel notes, journals, poems, short stories, chronicles, events, poetic reports and meditations, all of them, associated to the thematic variety of some texts in verse with a philosophical approach. They formed his collaboration during the 20 years he wrote for Brazilian newspapers and magazines. This Master’s dissertation aims to study João Guimarães Rosa’s chronicle based on his 1970 book, focusing on the problem of classification of texts in their testimony nature. For this study the following chronicles were selected: “O mau humor de Wotan” (Wotan’s Bad Humor) (02.29.1948 — Correio da Manhã Newspaper); “A senhora dos segredos” (The Lady of Secrets) (12.06.1952 — Correio da Manhã); “Homem, intentada viagem” (Man, The Intended Trip) (02.18.1961 — O Globo Newspaper); “A velha” (The Old Lady) (06.03.1961 — O Globo). Reading and interpretation of the mentioned chronicles address the historical context of the 20th Century, during World War II. Considering the studies done by Massaud Moisés (1978) ,Afrânio Coutinho (1997), Antonio Candido (1997) and Jorge de Sá (2005), it was understood that this textual genre teaches us to live intimately with the word, considering that everything is life and a reason for reflection, which is perceived throughout the reading of the Ave, palavra author’s chronicles, for the writer, who was born in the State of Minas Gerais, does not lose sight of the fact that reality is not merely duplicated, but recreated. The paper is based on studies formulated by Hans Robert Jauss (1979), which focus the primacy of hermeneutic centered on the reader, clarifying, on one side, the current process that concretizes the effect and meaning of the text for the contemporary reader and, on the other side, reconstructs the historical process by which the text is received and interpreted by readers of different eras.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Memória e migração presentes em narrativas orais de migrantes nordestinos na Amazônia paraense(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-04-19) PIMENTEL, Flávio Reginaldo; FERNANDES, José Guilherme dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7023812449790431This study analyzes oral narratives and life stories of migrants who have established residence in northeastern Pará Amazon called, more precisely in the region called Bragantina in the municipality of Igarapé Açu.
