Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Adesão ao tratamento anti-retroviral por cuidadores de crianças e adolescentes soropositivos de uma Unidade de Saúde do Estado do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-02) BRANCO, Caroline Mota; FERREIRA, Eleonora Arnaud Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6600933695027723The adhesion to treatment has been receiving a lot of attention in Health´s Psychology these years. Studies in this area reveal that the patients who don't take part in the treatment cannot receive benefits of therapeutical intervention. The literature about adhesion in the anti-retroviral´s treatment reveals that is the caretaker who usually has the responsibility for managing soropositive children and teenager´s treatment. This study aims to describe the standard adhesion of caretakers treatment who live in the State of Pará, identifying the variables that interfere in their participation. It still reveals the types of cope strategies used to deal with the adverse conditions of soropositivity. For that, it was carried out a descriptive study, of transverse cut, with 30 caretakers, enrolled in the “Unidade de Referência Materno-infantil e Adolescente do Estado do Pará” (UREMIA), using, as instruments of data collection, an interview with caretakers - which investigated socialdemografic, clinical and psicosocial children and teenager's aspects - and the “Escala Modos of Enfrentamento de Problemas” (EMEP). Concerning to caretakers participation, it was observed that some conditions facilitated the treatment´s adhesion. Those conditions were related to varied of family organization (such as the number of people that lived in a house), to the history of treatment interruption and the self-report of caretakers about the fulfilment standard which should be emitted about the success (or failure) of the adhesion. The influence of those varied demonstrated the influence of behavior control made by rules, because the caretakers emitted the fulfillment standard classified as "adhesion" in order to avoid being in contact with the aversive consequences of the non-continuation of the treatment. Concerning to the cope strategies, it was showed a major grade for Factor 3, emphasizing the use of strategies focused on religious practices and/or imaginative thoughts. This research verified that the caretakers of the sample avoided thinking about the soropositivity problem as it is really constituted, using religious thoughts or "magic" to continue working with the daily routine of the subject coping, which involved the condition of children and teenager’s soropositivity. Based on all this data, this research suggests that more studies should be carried out in order to investigate themes related to the function of social contigences about the behavior of children and teenager’s caretakers from Pará, and also investigate aspects concerned to the diagnosis revealing.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Adultos e adolescentes autores de agressão sexual: características biopsicossociais e suas percepções sobre infância, adolescência e violência(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-09-10) SILVEIRA, Víviam da Silva; REIS, Daniela Castro dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8805305887566391; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9505-4516; CALVACANTE, Lília Iêda Chaves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4743726124254735; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3154-0651Sexual violence encompasses all societies, and manifests itself in different ways in their different contexts. This phenomenon is present throughout the life trajectory of many children and adolescents, whether as victims or perpetrators of sexual aggression. With the purpose of investigating this phenomenon, this dissertation presents a research with an empirical-descriptive design and quantitative-qualitative data analysis. The research sought to investigate the perceptions of adults (+ 18 years old) and adolescents (12 to 18 years old) perpetrators of sexual aggression against children and adolescents about childhood, adolescence and sexual violence, relating them to the biopsychosocial characteristics that define the two age groups involved in the research. Therefore, two studies with similar methodological characteristics were carried out, thematically interconnected, but with individuals from two different age groups. Study I sought to investigate the relationship between perceptions of adult perpetrators of sexual assault against children and adolescents about childhood, adolescence and sexual violence and the biopsychosocial characteristics of this age group (+ 18 years), which includes men sentenced for crimes of sexual violence in units prisons. Ten (N=10) interviews conducted and transcribed between 2015 and 2016 were selected for content analysis by the Descending Hierarchical Classification (CHD) with the support of the Iramuteq Software. The results showed that 90% of these adults were over 30 years old; as for education, 50% did not complete elementary school; 10% attended incomplete high school and 30% managed to complete high school, of these participants only 10% had access to incomplete higher education. All participants experienced situations of violence throughout their life trajectories, and regarding the degree of severity of the sexual assault committed, 40% of the authors assumed the practice with hands on; 40% did not assume such aggression, and 20% of these declared that they do not remember the act for which they are serving their sentence. The perception of these adults about childhood, adolescence and sexual violence appears directly linked to the experiences of these participants in the different stages of their development, in addition to not disassociating this form of aggression from the use of physical force. Study II aimed to investigate the relationship between the perceptions of adolescents who perpetrate sexual aggression against children and adolescents about childhood, adolescence and sexual violence and the biopsychosocial characteristics of this age group (12 to 18 years old), which brings together adolescents who respond in court for an analogous offense to the rape of a vulnerable person and who were in compliance with a socio-educational measure. Four (N=4) participants were reached for content analysis of the interviews transcribed through the CHD of Iramuteq. The results showed that the adolescents were over 15 years old. In terms of education, 2 (50%) had not completed elementary school, 1 (25%) had not completed high school, and 1 (25%) had not completed this information. As for the violence suffered, it was observed that all participants experienced situations of violence. With regard to the degree of severity of the act performed, none of the participants assumed their practice in hands on. The perception of these adolescents about childhood, adolescence and sexual violence appears as a reflection of the construction of these categories throughout the life trajectory of these individuals, highlighting sexual violence linked to the use of physical force. Therefore, through the two studies, the hypothesis that there is a greater number of similarities than differences in the reports of these individuals (adults and adolescents) about the perceptions of sexual violence was taken into account. It is possible to point out the relationship between the biopsychosocial characteristics of the two age groups of perpetrators of sexual aggression, and particular ways of dealing with the experiences present in their life trajectories. It is possible to affirm that adolescent and adult authors, despite being in different groups, were probably socialized in very similar cultural and belief systems, which can influence and direct the construction of perceptions that are close to each other. However, adult authors tend to refer to violence as separate chapters in their life trajectory, and in the opposite direction, adolescents tend to show a direct relationship between sexual violence and issues experienced during their previous stages of development.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ensino de leitura a partir de unidades mínimas a jovens e adultos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2002) SANTOS, Ana Cláudia Cunha dos; GALVÃO, Olavo de Faria; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7483948147827075The Experimental Analysis of Behavior has contributed expressively to the production of knowledge applied to human problem solving. The behavior analysts have been producing a variety of studies that investigate the basic processes involved in the acquisition of reading and writing performances, and teaching procedures that may develop these repertoires. Some studies have obtained positive results using procedures that establish the control by minimal units of reading, syllables, starting teaching macro units, words. However, it may be possible to teach reading using other alternative procedures. This study investigates the efficacy of a teaching program that starts teaching reading from minimal units and then macro units, using behavioral technology. Four of six participants finished the program. All participants learned to read the taught words. One participant showed generalized reading when first tested, the other three participants needed repeated tests. Two participants developed construction of dictated taught and recombined words. Results indicate control by minimal units. Further research concerning stimulus control of writing dictated words, one important relation to be learned to achieve functional literacy, is necessary.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Estilos parentais em famílias de crianças abrigadas(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-04-26) BARBALHO, Tássia Jares Pereira; MAGALHÃES, Celina Maria Colino de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1695449937472051Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Percepções de adolescentes de escola pública e de escola privada na cidade de Belém-PA acerca de saúde e doença mental(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-09-09) LUZ, Priscila Carla Costa; FERREIRA, Eleonora Arnaud Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6600933695027723From the analysis of studies on mental health in adolescence can be considered as a relevant issue, because this age group, and establish itself as a large portion of people who need and do not seek care, is identified as a vulnerable age group and risk. So, do you need to think of more effective forms of intervention, considering the family context, cultural and social these individuals. The purpose of this study was to investigate conceptions of adolescents and their caregivers about health and mental illness, including stereotypes and accessibility to mental health services offered in the city of Belém-PA, as well as major networks of support and care strategies used by adolescents. The study included 60 adolescents of both sexes, and their caregivers. The teenagers were aged between 12 and 17 years, 30 students from public school located in a suburb, and 30 private school located in a neighborhood considered noble in Belem-Para The caregivers were female, with aged 25 to 57 years. Of the total sample of 60 adolescents were interviewed families of diverse family configuration through home visits. The instruments were used: field diary, interview script familiar script of an interview with the coordinators of the schools and self-reported questionnaires on health and mental illness. The questionnaire results were analyzed preferably by Chi-Square and G test for independent samples. All statistical processing was carried out in BioEstat software version 5.2. For the field diary and interview scripts used the content analysis. The results showed these two instruments and socioeconomic risk factors and protection of teenagers in the family. The questionnaire results showed that perceptions of public school students about mental health were associated with not be as sensitive / fragile and think positive, be optimistic. While in private school was associated with balanced feel and be very important. As the conceptions of mental illness in the public school was related to when the body is not good and professional advise when a treatment in the private school was injured and have feelings is not something you notice right away. Regarding the origin of ideas there was no real difference between the groups. Regarding religion, there was disagreement only with respect to cure mental illness. As a coping strategy was associated in the public school to speak to someone about the problem while in the private school did not seek help. The mother was identified as the principal for help in public school, private school in the main reference was the family doctor. The main barrier to public school students access to mental health service was not knowing what the psychologist / psychiatrist will do with it, and in the private school was not wanting to be taken / mocked. In both groups the main problems were reported mental health problems in school and behavior. The private school adolescents responded that they only sometimes feel alone and happy, while in the public schools have always been in good spirits and satisfied with life.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Redes sociais via estrutura social cognitiva em adolescentes de uma turma do ensino médio(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-06-17) GODINHO, Rejane Célia de Souza; PONTES, Fernando Augusto Ramos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1225408485576678Cognitive social structure maps social relationships perceived by the actors. This study characterizes network pattern of a high school classroom and verifies relationship perception and accuracy in this environment. To this end, two interconnected studies were carried out: 1) A review based on cognitive social structure analysis that aimed to investigate and systematize literature regarding the design of Cognitive Social Structure in social network analysis in a school environment to identify gaps, contributions, limitations, and improvement of this technique. 2) Descriptive and exploratory study to characterize differential positioning of adolescents in the social network topology, according to cognitive social structure, in terms of network patterns (greater or lesser density). The results of the first study indicate strategies that measure individual accuracy and group perceptions of the relationships established in each social network. Based on these data, study two characterized the differential positioning of adolescents in the social network topology and found that the subjects with greater precision in identifying real relationships are subjects who perceive the group less densely, and with clear separations between subgroups. Our results differ from little literature in the area regarding greater precision in subjects with less centrality of degree and intermediation.
