| Resumo: | O referido estudo foi desenvolvido no período de 1990 a 2020 na região insular da Baia do Guajará, estado do Pará e teve como objetivo analisar a dinâmica de uso e cobertura do solo nas ilhas da região insular da Baia do Guajará através do índice de vegetação NDVI, com a intenção de provocar a discussão e inserção de novas estratégias de desenvolvimento urbano, econômico, social e turístico na região na APA da Ilha do Combú, localizada no município de Belém, Pará. Para alcançar tal objetivo foi elaborado no code editor do Google Earth Engine, o script para gerar índice de vegetação (NDVI) comparando com as médias mensais e anuais da precipitação pluviométrica. Constatou-se que a sazonalidade influência de forma consistente no comportamento da vegetação e por consequência no NDVI, já que as mudanças antrópicas foram mínimas na maioria das ilhas.
