Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Antropização entre a garantia e a negação do direito a educação do campo na Vila São Jorge do Jabuti(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-12-21) BERNARDO, Izabela do Nascimento; RAMOS, João Batista Santiago; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8078757512392983The present work aims to understand how the educational practices produced by teachers, technical management and coordination team impact the movement of teaching, learning and guaranteeing the rights of subjects in Rural Education. Methodologically, the research was developed from a qualitative approach, using as data collection techniques, the semi-structured interview and documental analysis. For data analysis, content analysis was used. The locus of the research is a rural school, located in Vila de São Jorge, in the interior of the municipality of Igarapé-Açu/PA. The investigation was based on the theoretical framework of rural education, especially its legal parameters. The results of this research show that there are signs of the development of rural education in the studied school, based on school knowledge combined with traditional experiences and knowledge. On the other hand, we identified certain ways that compromise the pedagogical practices developed in this school space, which were related to infrastructure problems such as inadequate environments, insufficient and out of context materials, and also the absence of inclusive, emancipatory public policies. However, there is an engagement of the school in general and of the educators in particular towards human formation guided by the guarantee of rights in the context of the community. Reaffirming that one also learns with knowledge, actions and knowledge produced by the people of the countryside.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O corpo velho no retumbão da marujada: des/com/passos antrópicos bragantinos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-12-20) SOUZA, Hildeana Nogueira Dias; ANJOS, Francisco Valdinei dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5035093639365870; RAMOS, João Batista Santiago; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8078757512392983The present work is the result of a research on the Marujada de Bragança. It is a cultural and religious manifestation, an important part of the Festa de São Benedito. This manifestation awakened in me the desire to research and explore the question of the old body in the dance of the Retumbão da Marujada in Bragança/PA. The study was carried out in the municipality of Bragança, northeast of Pará, with elderly people from the Brotherhood of São Benedito. Data were collected in the midst of the pandemic caused by COVID-19. In December 2020, the first interviews were carried out, the others were carried out during the months of January to June 2021, totaling 12 interviewed subjects, men and women, aged between 60 and 84 years. The research had as a general objective, to investigate the memories that build/support the identities of old people, in the sense of rescuing the memories of their trajectories in Marujada. To achieve this objective, a study with a qualitative approach was carried out. The techniques used were bibliographic survey, direct observation and interviews based on oral history as a data production technique. The relevance of this work is evidenced by the possibility of discussing the aspects of the old body and contributing to the reflection on the importance of memory, as a way of listening to the elderly and, consequently, theoretically contributing to the experience of a better quality of life in old age.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A educação escolar e a formação da identidade: um estudo em uma escola multisseriada do município de Igarapé-Açu/PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-06-25) SILVA, Wanessa Nogueira; CRUZ, Carlos Renilton Freitas; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7656601356595473; RAMOS, João Batista Santiago; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8078757512392983This work aims to understand how the school impacts the formation of the peasant identity of the community of “São Luizinho”, thus analyzing the pedagogical practices of teachers in the community and verifying in what sense they impact on the construction and/or enhancing the identity of the subjects in the field. The starting point was the following question: What has been the role of the school in the formation of peasant identity in the “São Luizinho” community, in Igarapé-Açu/Pa? The need for valuing and encouraging the formation of the identity of the subjects in the field is emphasized, considering that the field has a past of denial and silencing, being strongly marked by the assiduous struggle for the conquest and enforcement of their rights. Methodologically, the research is carried out in the qualitative paradigm, using the method, the case study and data collection techniques, the semi structured interview and the focus group. For data treatment and analysis, content analysis is used. The locus of the research is a multi-grade rural school in the municipality of Igarapé- Açu / Pa. The results indicate the importance of the teacher in the formation of the students' identity and, equally, in the valorization of the field and their way of life. It is noteworthy that the curricular proposal of rural schools does not differ from urban schools. Therefore, it is observed that, following a path contrary to the demands of the peasant movements, there is no Education in the Countryside, but only Education in the Countryside, since every effort to value the countryside and foster a peasant identity is part of the professionals involved in this process, there is no institutional project.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O enfrentamento do analfabetismo de mulheres velhas no município de Castanhal, na Amazônia Paraense: a velhice negada e a educação “garantida”(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-06-19) FALCÃO, Ildete da Silva; ANJOS, Francisco Valdinei dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5035093639365870; RAMOS, João Batista Santiago; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8078757512392983The confrontation of the illiteracy of old women in the Municipality of Castanhal, in the Paraense Amazon, was the object of this research, when it aroused in us the problematization and the will to investigate this phenomenon, for the much that it excludes in this region, particularly in Castanhal, in the State of Pará, where the Campus of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) is located, which, through university extension, develops the program Education Group in the Third Age (GETI), the locus of this research. The study was carried out with 12 subjects, students and former students of the 2nd stage classes of Youth and Adult Education (EJA), resulting from the partnership between the Campus and the Municipal Education Department (SEMED), aiming to investigate the determining factors for the confrontation of illiteracy by the old women who attend the GETI program. As a researcher, teacher and old woman, our interest in the study was of a theoretical, political and existential nature. In this sense, we conducted a qualitative-exploratory field research, which forged some methodological procedures, namely: the bibliographical survey, with the reading of the theoretical ones on the subject, immersion in the program file GETI and the necessary listening of subjects through semi-structured interviews. To analyze the interview data we use Content Analysis, based on Bardin (2016) and Franco (2018). The study revealed the situation of socioeconomic and cultural prejudice of the old women investigated, as a consequence of the long period of life in illiteracy or low level of schooling. It also evidenced the protagonism when overcoming this condition by revealing attitudes of independence and autonomy acquired by the literacy process. It is also pointed out that current educational systems are not prepared to meet the specificities of the elderly, which requires the government to implement legal determinations concerning the right of the elderly with adequate physical and pedagogical structure in the sense of ensuring that these citizens are welcomed with physical and emotional security through critical, dialogic and respectful pedagogical interventions, in a perspective of providing meaningful learning throughout life.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Entre números e narrativas, um estudo sobre o fechamento de escolas em localidades rurais na Amazônia paraense(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-08-08) SILVA, Josiane Nascimento da; RAMOS, João Batista Santiago; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8078757512392983Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A experiência da solidão a partir do olhar de pessoas idosas do Programa Grupo de Educação na Terceira Idade(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-03-21) RIBEIRO, Simone Correia; ANJOS, Francisco Valdinei dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5035093639365870; RAMOS, João Batista Santiago; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8078757512392983Based on the elements that contribute to the occurrence of the phenomenon of loneliness in the elderly, this research proposes a reflection on the experience of loneliness from the perspective of elderly people from the Grupo de Educação na Terceira Idade (GETI) Program. The study aims to investigate, based on the various dimensions of loneliness, the social/personal elements that cause the experience of loneliness among elderly people at GETI and, to achieve this objective, we carried out a study with a qualitative approach and the production of data was carried out at from the application of a previously structured interview script, whose questions were directed to the following categories: family life experience, network of social relationships and feeling of loneliness. For the analysis of the data produced, we used the content analysis method, which according to Bardin (2015) refers to a grouping of communication analysis techniques. This analysis technique allows the researcher to observe the different forms of communication that the interviewee emits during the interview. The research was carried out in the municipality of Castanhal, northeast of Pará, with elderly people from GETI, UFPA, Campus de Castanhal. The data were produced between November 2020 and May 2021, totaling 6 (six) subjects interviewed, 1 (one) man and 5 (five) women over 60 years of age. The investigation revealed that, due to the global/current pandemic scenario caused by SARS-CoV-2, the phenomenon of loneliness is more present and has presented itself in its most harmful version in the life of the elderly. Factors such as social distancing, the loss of loved ones and family members, in addition to anxiety, have had harmful impacts on the daily lives of the elderly. It is concluded that the construction of the data highlights the importance and the possibility of reflecting on the dimensions of the loneliness phenomenon in the life of the elderly, as well as on the importance of affective-social relationships in the routine of this public, as a way of providing them with support with the changes required by aging and, consequently, help in experiencing a better quality of life in old age. The importance of the role of public policies that govern the laws of the elderly and guarantee their rights is highlighted. It is important, however, to highlight that society needs to know and value these laws and treat the elderly as active and significant subjects, worthy of enjoying their rights and living in safety. Society, therefore, can provide the advancement of struggles for the rights of the elderly, for the dignity of aging and for compliance with the laws (BETTINELLI; PORTELLA, 2004).Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Formação da identidade cultural de crianças do ensino fundamental à luz das diretrizes curriculares de Ananindeua(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-03-15) MARTINS, Leide Daiane dos Anjos; ROCHA, Carlos José Trindade da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7815926450187234; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5172-9182; RAMOS, João Batista Santiago; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8078757512392983The research seeks to understand the formation of the cultural identity of elementary school children in light of the municipal curriculum guidelines of Ananindeua. A qualitative approach was used, involving documents and descriptive representations of children in the 4th and 5th years of morning and afternoon classes at an elementary school in the municipality. The results indicate that the municipality's curriculum document created macro areas, including Multiculturalism, now called Cultural Identity involving citizenship and civics. In practice, it is necessary to rethink educational approaches, considering the fundamental role they play in the identity and cultural formation of children, in order to better promote the appreciation of diversity as an integral part of this cultural identity process of children in the school environment, as it reflects on various concepts of Amazonian education and daily life in the globalized world. The Amazonian cultural plurality, present in everyday school life, must ratify cultural diversity as a fundamental trait in the construction of children's identities, defined and negotiated in the field of conflicts and the infinite possibilities of singularization in the municipal school environment of Ananindeua.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A Igreja Católica e o movimento da renovação carismática no contexto do município de Castanhal(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-12-13) GAMA, Izael Nunes da; NASSAR, Sérgio Eduardo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3066738195459439; RAMOS, João Batista Santiago; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8078757512392983This research investigated about the RCC and its relationship with the ICAR in the context of the Municipality of Castanhal, Pará. In the theoretical framework, we approach as a central axis that the ICAR, since its origins, has had the characteristic of having several movements or sacred territories that form a larger space and this is due to the organization of this institution. There are studies on RCC, however, these studies differ from our approach. It was found as a research question the question of how the arrival of the RCC in the municipality of Castanhal and how (happens) the relations between the ICAR and the RCC, as a general objective we have: to understand the relationship between the RCC and the ICAR in the municipality of Castanhal-PA, as well as in the specific objectives we seek to investigate: identify the view of the clergy in relation to RCC and describe in the view of RCC participants the view they have on the movement. The fact of the growth of the RCC and the space that this movement has occupied within the ICAR motivated us to investigate this theme. This study becomes relevant due to the Catholic and scientific community's need to know better the RCC and its importance for Catholicism, providing the overcoming of possible prejudices. In addition to the literature review, we used fieldwork with interviews with parish priests, diocesan bishop, leaders of the RCC and members of the movement in Castanhal to understand the phenomenon studied. In the results and discussions, we noticed by the clergy a rejection of the denomination of Pentecostal Catholics and a reaffirmation that the RCC is Catholic. Among the conclusions we realize that charismatics see themselves as more authentic Catholics after being part of the movement.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A leitura que liberta à luz da filosofia da libertação na Unidade de Custódia e Reinserção de Castanhal(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-08-12) SILVA, Leliane Aguiar da; RAMOS, João Batista Santiago; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8078757512392983The present this study was to analyze the practice of reading aimed at remission of the sentence, under the heading of the New Project the Reading that Liberates, in the Custody and Reinsertion Unit of Castanhal, in the light of the Philosophy of Liberation, proposed by Enrique Dussel, in addition to understand the relationship between reading and freedom in a prison environment. This scope refers to the urgency of humanizing the Brazilian prison system, which instrumentalized reading in spaces of deprivation of liberty as an activity capable of remission of the sentence, engendered by the criminal execution policy in Brazil for social reintegration based on human rights. Of an applied nature, the research was based on a qualitative approach, with the procedural applicability of pedagogical action research - PAPe, as an educational tool that presupposes cooperation between participants and researchers in a continuous exercise between action and investigation, which in its phases was used the didactic sequence, the participant research which generated the production of poetry written by private readers, and the use of questionnaires, having as support for data analysis the theoretical contribution centered on the senses regarding the proposal of the philosophy of liberation, by Enrique Dussel, as a continuum of understandings to liberating education. Thus, it was identified that reading projects in a prison environment, such as NPPL, promote it as a social practice that impacts the lives of readers deprived of liberty, who begin to expand their conceptions of freedom beyond the proposition of reducing the sentence, but which needs to be developed as a complement to educational activities as an effective practice of a human right and not as another mere disciplinary mechanism for the idle time of the PLL, whose philosophical praxis of Liberation as parameters, which in addition to being political, is rather pedagogical.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O sagrado (re)velado em narrativas orais de mulheres quilombolas de Santíssima Trindade - Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-03-15) SOUSA, Natasha Fernandes de; RAMOS, João Batista Santiago; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8078757512392983This research aims to understand the sacred (re)veiled in oral narratives of women from the Santíssima Trindade-Pará Community. The social relevance of giving time and voice to knowledge, religiosity and customs of those who inhabit or have inhabited marginal spaces, reflecting their narratives in search of identifying possible temporal interferences, and also what the Community represents through their voices. For this, the investigation presented a methodology with a qualitative approach with descriptive characteristics, considering the oral narratives of three quilombola women from the Santíssima Trindade community. The constitution of the data took place through observation, interview, informal conversations, audiovisual record and notebook. The results show that the sacred is (re)veiled through manifestations of religious rituals with devotion to the saints, mainly to São Pedro - the patron saint of the Community, as well as in rituals of healing with herbs or rezadeiras. It is noteworthy that the sacred is also (re)veiled through elementary or more elaborate hierophanies such as the human one. It is concluded that in the sacred (re)veiled in oral narratives of the women of the quilombola community Santíssima Trindade there is an intertwining between life and memory to the history of the Community itself, becoming a source of knowledge to know the history of the place where the sacred is (re)veils with representation and belonging to the community of black and quilombola women, in addition to a totalizing ideology.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Vozes silenciadas: história e memória de outras interpretações do processo de interiorização do Campus UFPA no município de Castanhal - PA a partir de 1970(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-06-22) SANTOS, Maria José Conceição dos; CHAVES, Túlio Augusto P. de Vasconcelos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0678870505162412; RAMOS, João Batista Santiago; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8078757512392983The work aims to understand the history of the implementation of the UFPA Campus in the city of Castanhal, from the speeches and narratives of the subjects who experienced the process of interiorization from the 1970s, with emphasis on the period of the experienced military government at UFPA. Relating the past and the present of this trajectory, narrated according to the written documents and the interviewed subjects, another interpretation of the historical process of the institution was promoted, since the recorded history was loaded with documentary absences, referring to the periods of struggles and agreements that were established for the construction of the University in the interior of the State. The locus of the investigation was the Campus / UFPA, established in the city of Castanhal, northeastern microregion of the State of Pará. The research was guided by the following questions: What movements occurred in order to conceive the interiorization of the Campus-UFPA in Castanhal? What were the institutional projects that propelled UFPA to the city? Which subjects participated in the implementation? Did the Military Dictatorship impact the creation policy of the University? The investigation was based on qualitative bibliographic research and the procedures used were based on oral history, with instruments based on interviews and questionnaires, supported by the content analysis technique, which defined the direction of the information collected. The study proved that there are contradictions in most of the registered documents, which punctuate the University's interiorization in the city through the political force of the Federal, State and Municipal governments. In this sense, oral history is confronted with registered official documents, because it pointed to the existence of several institutional projects that propelled UFPA to the city of Castanhal. The Interiorization process took place in the 1970s, driven by many obstacles and conflicts. And there were several elements that mediated the action, in addition to the interference of projects coming from the Rural University Center for Community Action Training (CRUTAC), the Ministry of Education and the Department of Elementary Education (DEF), with the intention of establishing an agreement with UFPA - through the Education Center - and the City Hall, to set up a University campus in the city, considered one of the most developed in the region.
