Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Anthropologie d'une saudade: mémoire et imaginaire dans la représentation du cycle du latex à Belém do Pará(De Boeck Supérieur, 2001) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Banalidade e intersubjetividade na arte(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, 2017-07) CASTRO, Marina Ramos Neves de; CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deThis article aims to reflect on the banality of art in its quotidianity. It attempts to question by what social dynamics the common, the banal and the quotidian can come to have artistic value. The answer we seek to build for the question, observes this sensation in its dynamics of sociation, that is, as a bond, as a structure of the collective and experiential character of social life. By understanding the phenomenon as a total social fact, we can say that it is engendered and simultaneously engenders the societal bond in an intersubjective procedure that produces the shared sense.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) As Casas Bahia não entrarão no Amapá. Consumo, política e intersubjetividade(Universidade Estadual Paulista, 2013-08) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deAn unusual subject appeared in the 2010 election campaign in the brazilian state of Amapá: the rumor that, if the candidate Lucas Barreto (PTB) was elected governor, his deputy governor, Jaime Nunes, entrepreneur owner of the largest group of local retail stores Domestilar, will mobilize political conditions to prevent the arriving of new retail groups in the state, particularly the "Casas Bahia", a powerful Brazilian network of retail stores. Bombarded by advertising this group, which is aired on national television, the population converted this subject into a political issue. The article seeks to understand how consumer desire, with its political dimension, is an intersubjective phenomenon in a mediatized society.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Comunicação banal e quotidiano em um mercado de Belém(Associação Nacional dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação, 2022-12) CASTRO, Marina Ramos Neves de; CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deThis article describes an ethnographic research carried out at the Guamá fair, in Belém (PA), during the years 2011 to 2018. The objective was to understand the communicational and cultural processes present in the social interactions of this fair, thus trying to describe the typifications that make up the intersubjectivity of the social subjects who attend it. In this way, these typifications are described and discussed as the social form of a banal everyday life and an attempt is made to think about these typifications through the Heideggerian notion of chatter (Gerede), understood as a communicational-cultural process affected by the banality of everyday life.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Comunicação, Identidade e TV pública no Pará(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, 2012) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Consumo e socialidade nas festas de aparelhagem de Belém, Brasil(Universidad de Colima, 2021-12) COSTA, Hans Cleyton Passos da; CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; CASTRO, Marina Ramos Neves deThe article reflects on the practices and social forms of consumption present in the sound system parties of the city of Belém in a complex and multidi mensional perspective. The article focuses on two blocks of social practices –drinking and clothing– and seeks to problematize the accumulated debate on the problem of consumption from a Simmelian perspective, centered on the complexity of social forms. We concluded that the social forms of the act of consumption are not binary nor permanent structures, but dynamic patterns, that allow for creativity and adjustments wich may occur between social classes and groups, practices of inclusion and exclusion, cohesion and competition, aesthetic pattern and innovative rupture, hedonism and vicarity, group cohesion and life cohesion social.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Cultura, sensibilidade e comunicação intersensorial: as festas das aparelhagens no Estado do Pará(Associação Nacional dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação, 2021-06) CASTRO, Marina Ramos Neves de; CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; COSTA, Hans Cleyton Passos daThe article proposes to think about the Festas de Aparelhagem (sound system parties), traditional festive events in the state of Pará, based on its technological dimension and thus, as dynamics of creation, production and sensory reverberation. Based on an ethnographic research and reflecting on the importance of the technological devices present in the sound systems, we seek to understand the intersensory communication present in these events and, in the same way, the meanings of culture and intersubjectivity. Along this path, the relationship between communication, culture, technology and sensoriality is discussed using Le Breton (2016a; 2016b), Laplantine (2017) and Anonimizado (2018). Miller (2008; 1998) and Gonçalves (2007) are also used to reflect on the material culture produced around the technological artifacts of parties and Anonimizado (2020) to debate the issue of intersensory communication.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Dalcídio Jurandir e os Heréus da Amazônia(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-06) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Dança, identidade, universalidade: as danças circulares no grupo Mana-Maní, em Belém, Brasil(Universidade Caxias do Sul, 2015-07) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; COSTA, Lucivaldo BaíaThe article takes an ethnographic approach over circular dances developed by Mana Mani, a cultural group from Belém (Brazil). We want to discuss how the circular dances, a booming cultural practice in contemporary societies, contribute to the formation of identity. We discuss, particularly, the production of the empathic social bond as a factor for the constitution of political and ethical references in the identitarian typification process. Accordingly, we look into how the proposed merger between universal and local is inserted among the contemporary cultural practices on hybrid cosmopolitan senses. We also seek to discuss how traditional dances and musicality of traditional Amazonian populations are appropriated by the group and become communal ideals and values and how they produce political and ethical directions and meanings to the to the local, in his dialogue with the universal.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) De que periferia estás falando? Da representação artística à representação social da periferia em escolas periféricas de Belém(Universidade Caxias do Sul, 2013-06) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; FREITAS, Aline Meriane do Carmo deThe article discusses the relationship between social representations and artistic representations, observing the receipt of two video clips, both thematising the periphery, by high school students from two schools in the outskirts of Belém (Brasil). We want to understand how a artistic representation contributes to conform a social representation on the social dialogic process and about the liminality between artistic representations and media representations. The objective is to understand the dynamic role of the central nucleus of the representations, structured, as demonstrated by observation, through the dialogical process inherent to the social experience.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A dialética entre redes e grupos no campo da comunicação midiática na Amazônia(Pontíficia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, 2012) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deThe article attempts, first, a mapping of networks and communication groups present in the brazilian Amazon region. It seeks to discuss, from this mapping, some conflicts of interest present in the relations between local groups and the national communication networks. Our intention is to demonstrate the hegemonic microdisputes present in this relationship, discussing the limitations in the interpretation of the systemic model of communication networks while vertical flow, characterized by regularity of power relationships.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A dimensão estética na feira do Guamá, Belém-PA(Universidade de Brasília, 2017-12) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; XAVIER, Fábio Rodrigo de Moraes; CASTRO, Marina Ramos Neves deThe article has the reflection on the communicative pragmatics in the aesthetic dimension of the Guamá market, located in Belém, in the Brazilian Amazon. Proposing to think of Maffesoli's sociology as a diatopic hermeneutics, the article reviews some of the elements that structure this author's thinking, among which the critique of schematic dualism, the Simmelian idea of “social form”, the assumption of a relativistic sensibility, stylistic inquiry and libertarian commitment. It is understood that these five elements refer to the idea of ordinary, banal knowledge and the notion of common sense, which constitute the core of the sociologist's work.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) É tempo de Preamar. A política cultural de Paes Loureiro no Pará, em 1987-1990(Universidade Federal da Bahia, 2012) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; CASTRO, Marina Ramos Neves deThe article discusses the cultural action of Professor João de Jesus Paes Loureiro at Secretariat of Culture of the State of Pará, from 1987 to 1990. In the Brazilian Amazon, it has operated for more than three decades, mainly with the Grande Carajás Program and recently with the S11D Project, a project to expand iron ore extraction activities in the Serra de Carajás, in the state of Pará. Through Discourse and Enunciation Analysis (VERÓN, 2004), this research examines how the discourses produced on the mining company’s website are constructed in the page entitled “S11D Eliezer Batista Complex”, based on the development ideals disclosed by the company. The S11D is considered by critics in the mining sector to be the continuation of the PGC, now with the prospect of doubled profits. The analysis considered that the mining company contributes to the construction of ideals on development in the Amazon, based on the idea of economic growth, ignoring the discourses that represent the territories and social subjects of the region where it operates.Item Desconhecido Uma experiência de inclusão digital na Amazônia: o Programa NavegaPará e o horizonte da democracia representativa. Limites e esperanças(Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, 2012-08) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; BAÍA, Dayane Correa PantojaThe aim of this paper is to discuss the strategy of Digital Inclusion in Amazon. We observe the NavegaPará Program, developed by the Pará government in partnership with Eletronorte, the Federal and municipal governments and civil society organizations. We seek to understand how this program dialogues with a regional development models to create alternatives to the status of “limited development” imposed over the Amazon by the mentality of Brazilian southeast region – political and economical centre of the country. We also seek to understand the political dimension present in the notion of Digital Inclusion.Item Desconhecido Experiência e intersubjetividade na prática do crossfit: processos comunicativos e estéticos(Universidade Federal Fluminense, 2022-06) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; LIMA, Rebecca dos SantosThe article discusses the communicative and intersubjective processes present in a box of CrossFit - a growing sport practice in Brazil - located in Belém, Pará. From an ethnography of ten months duration, it was sought to understand the socialities produced there and their interactional dynamics, typification processes and the sharing of a common aesthetic horizon. We propose a dialogue is sought between Communication, phenomenology and ethnography, understanding that the observed social relations constitute, structurally, communicative phenomena, present in social life through typifications of values and understandings of reality.Item Desconhecido Experiência geracional e identidade de fronteira: representações sociais sobre o rural amazônico(Universidade Federal Fluminense, 2017-08) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deThe article reflects on the conformation of the world view of a group of young people from a city in the southeast of Pará, Parauapebas, about the experience of living on an Amazonian border. The visions of common sense – on the one hand the promise of wealth and development; on the other hand, the image of crisis and violence – are contrasted by the representations effectively constructed by these young people in their daily lives, forming a generational experience marked by the sensation of transience. The discussion is based on research about the social representations of a group of 38 students of a Communication- Journalism course. For the most part, these students were born outside the Amazon region and experienced the social situation identified by several authors as being marked by the conflicting and transient dynamics that characterize the social processes of occupation of the Amazonian territory – a situation that is often identified as an ontological void. We test this perception by contrasting it with the actual daily experience of young people. To do so, we collect their social representations of where they live, inquiring about how their perceptions of the world and the rural Amazon are mediated by the intersubjective and media tissues that make up the Amazonian "frontier" as a space condemning to the transition and to the eventuality.Item Desconhecido Feira, forma, dom. Assimetrias da sociação numa feira de Belém(Universidad de Buenos Aires, 2016-08) CASTRO, Marina Ramos Neves de; CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deThe article describes sociability processes in a market in Belem, Para state’s capital, in the Brazilian Amazon, seeking to reflect on reciprocity and asymmetry processes present there. The article is the result of an eight-month ethnographic investigation. It’s ethnographic perspective leads to an interpretation and description of social interac tion as intersubjective dynamics. By observing the trading strategies and associations between merchants, customers and other individuals present at the market, we seek to understand reciprocity in its asymmetric aspects and the market itself as a social form. We aim to establish a dialogue with the reflections of Georg Simmel and Marcel Mauss, who in their analysis prioritize the relational dynamics of social reality. Looking into the relations of social subjects within the fair –traders, customers, public officials, among other stakeholders– we seek to glimpse the complexity of the inter-subjective process, reflecting on forms of reciprocity and gift in everyday life of the market.Item Desconhecido Fenomenologia da Comunicação em sua quotidianidade(2013-12) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deThe article reflects on the relationship between Communication and communicative everyday processes using Martin Heidegger's philosophy. Intending to interpret the communicative phenomenon from a phenomenological and hermeneutical approach, we seek to understand Communication as tacit condition of every being in the world and we discuss the banal and quotidian character of Communication through Heidegger's notion of idle talk (Gerede), comprehended it as a fundamental communicative experience. The aim of the paper is to understand the Communication in its most basic phenomenal condition, wich we have identified as their intersubjective condition. With this proposition, the article also seeks to understand Communication without the metaphysical bonds that are required to think on it, in other words a condition of effectiveness of language and meaning. Doing this, we start a phenomenology approach by which Communication could be comprehended as intersubjective and daily phenomenon.
