Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Os desafios do empreendedorismo LGBTQIAPN+: um mapeamento do cenário atual(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-08-03) GADELHA, Gabriel Rodrigues de Oliveira; MACIEL, Marinalva Cardoso; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7097094334421162Most studies have approached entrepreneurship and Gender and Sexual Orientation Identities from an individual or organizational standpoint, focusing on researching prejudice, discrimination, or how organizations are structuring themselves to tackle these issues. This study aims to delve into the present landscape of LGBTQIAPN+ Entrepreneurship, actively charting the current scientific landscape, and pinpointing the primary barriers and challenges, along with profiling entrepreneurial individuals, exploring management practices, and delving into entrepreneurial motivation. To attain this research goal, we conducted two separate yet interconnected studies. The initial study seeks to define the scientific context surrounding research on LGBTQIAPN+ Entrepreneurship. We accomplished this through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the works of Kraus et al. (2020), Page et al. (2021), and Tranfield et al. (2003). After applying this method, we were able to outline the scientific framework concerning the topic, uncovering three key research focal points: the existence of LGBTQIAPN+ entrepreneurs and their comparison with heterosexual counterparts, the LGBTQIAPN+ community's entrepreneurial approach, and management theories oriented towards entrepreneurial motivation. Within these research areas, notable aspects include the challenges that LGBTQIAPN+ entrepreneurs face, their entrepreneurial drive, strategies employed, and responses to the heteronormative market. The second phase of the study involved a questionnaire comprising three distinct sections to gauge the landscape of LGBTQIAPN+ Entrepreneurship. Our research sample encompassed diverse gender identities and sexual orientations, extending beyond the confines of gay and lesbian entrepreneurs as studied previously. Our findings confirm the existence of a disparity between entrepreneurial potential and the lack of management practices, support systems, assistance, and investment, all of which collectively hinder the growth and expansion of businesses led by LGBTQIAPN+ individuals. In conclusion, it is evident that LGBTQIAPN+ Entrepreneurship requires an expanded platform for growth, a reduction in prejudice to enable comprehensive entrepreneurial endeavors, increased visibility to acknowledge and resolve their challenges, and enhanced support and assistance to fully harness their potential. Additionally, it is important to note that the scope of this research is bounded by the size of the sample base. As a prospective avenue for future research, we recommend focusing on solutions to identified barriers, conducting case studies for deeper insights into management practices, and proposing projects that promote and foster LGBTQIAPN+ entrepreneurship.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Indústria 4.0: a inteligência artificial aliada aos cuidados com a saúde no atendimento ao paciente em hospitais universitários federais no âmbito da Amazônia Legal(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-07-17) NOGUEIRA, Vanessa Letícia de Vasconcelos; CARMO, Annibal José Roris Rodriguez Scavarda do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6070280268935110; SCHIMITH, Cristiano Descovi; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7017921569470426; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2545-942XResearch into the subject of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has grown over the last five years as a result of an event known as the 4th Industrial Revolution, or also known as Industry 4.0. Artificial intelligence is playing an increasingly important role in the treatment of patients in various areas of medicine. The aim of this research was to identify how the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has contributed to patient care. To this end, a literature review was carried out in order to research the theoretical framework that underpins the construction of the research. A framework was then drawn up based on the main theoretical approaches in the current literature. In conjunction, field research was carried out, which included an empirical investigation in the place where the phenomenon occurs, using a semi-structured interview script with health professionals working in Federal University Hospitals (HUFs) located in the Legal Amazon region. The research is justified by the need to improve patient care in the HUFs, with the aim of contributing to new models of service provision. The data obtained from the interviews with professionals at these hospitals was compared with the results from the literature review, and the empirical characteristics of the research brought out positive and negative points in relation to their use of AI in patient care. As a solution, this research presents a model to support patient care with the insertion of AI in HUFS, considering the concept of mimetic isomorphism, in which this practice tends to be homogenized or standardized imminently through its consolidation in the market.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Influência da autoeficácia na satisfação no trabalho na intensão de rotatividade: um estudo com professores federais da educação superior(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-12-18) ANDRADE, Nilda Maria da Cruz; MATTOS, Carlos André Corrêa de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3337808570398709; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-3027-7479This study aims to analyze the relationship between self-efficacy and job satisfaction, both individual and group-based, and the implications of these relationships on turnover intention among federal higher education professors. A survey was conducted with 165 federal professors selected through non-probabilistic convenience sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire based on the New General Self-Efficacy Scale (NGSE), Short Index of Job Satisfaction (SIJS), Group Work Satisfaction Scale (ESAGT), and Turnover Intention Scale (EIR), and analyzed using structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM).The results indicated that self-efficacy is a significant predictor of job and group satisfaction. However, a paradox was observed: while self-efficacy generally enhances satisfaction, in contexts of low professional recognition, it may increase turnover intention. This finding highlights the need for strategic actions that foster professional development and recognition, creating an environment that enhances self-efficacy while reducing dissatisfaction and turnover intentions. This research provides practical contributions for managers by assisting in the development of strategies that integrate professional recognition, talent retention, and improved organizational performance.
