Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Amplitudes e padrões de polarização de pulsos em meios anisotrópicos(2011-06) PEREIRA, Rubenvaldo Monteiro; PROTÁZIO, João dos Santos; COSTA, Jessé CarvalhoExtracting subsurface lithological information from seismic data has become a great challenge to seismic exploration, as the hypotheses of stratification made by isotropic layers has been insufficient to represent the behavior of elastic field in surveys with great offset between source and receiver, multicomponent geophones, three-dimensional Vertical Seismic Profile (VSP) measures and so forth. Due to this reason, a more realistic model of subsurface is demanded. As a result, the seismic prospecting starts to consider the anisotropic models of subsurface to characterize reservoirs, for example. This paper aims at showing formalism to model the scattering of pulses from incident plane waves in horizontal plain interfaces which separate anisotropic media. This scattering is obtained primarily through the explicit formulation of traction and deformation fields as a function of propagator, polarization and impedance matrices of media. After that, this formalism is used to obtain the reflection and transmission coefficients matrices through a horizontal plain interface to be, subsequently generalized to a scattering through multiple layers. Finally, the amplitude of an analytical pulse is inserted in the incident wave to calculate the scattering of the pulse through stratifications.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Como pano de fundo ao império: a trajetória do fundamento histórico, de sua produção a sua publicação na imprensa joanina (1773-1819)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-04) FELDMAN, ArielThis article aims to follow the trajectory of a text known as 'Fundamento Histórico', from its production, in 1773, to its publication, in the periodicals of the joanino period (1808-1821). Fundamento Histórico is the introduction that Claudio Manuel da Costa wrote to the epic poem called Vila Rica. Probably concluded in 1773, this epic circulated in a manuscript form until 1813, when the periodical O Patriota (1813-1814) published only the introduction made to the poem, suggesting that it was just a work of historical nature, not poetic. Hipólito da Costa, editor of the Correio Braziliense (1808-1822), gazette written in London, repeated the procedure, publishing, in 1819, merely the Fundamento Histórico, as if it was a detached work with an unique purpose of restoring the origins of Minas Gerais' captaincy. The thesis defended here is that this text was appropriated by the joanina's press in order to forge the unity of the Portuguese territories in America.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Levinas e a reconstrução da subjetividade ética aproximações com o campo da educação(2014-06) MIRANDA, José Valdinei AlbuquerqueThis article aims to discuss the concept of subjectivity in its relation to otherness in education, based on the philosophical thought of Emanuel Levinas. First, it presents the discussion of subjectivity in modern philosophy, and his way of conceiving it as an ideal of free and sovereign subject. Then it develops a critical analysis that problematizes the alleged sovereignty of the subject and reconstructs a new ethical subjectivity, located in the condition of hostage, capable of accommodating the irreducible alterity of the other as an idea of infinity. In the context of the reconstruction of subjectivity, the study establishes approaches to the field of education, emphasizing the educational experience as an ethical event par excellence.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Guerra aos extremos: polarização política em Pernambuco e a defesa do princípio de soberania nacional (1829-1831)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-06) FELDMAN, ArielThis article aims to analyze the politic polarization in Pernambuco between 1829 and 1831. The focus of this analysis is the journalistic work of Benedictine Monk Miguel do Sacramento Lopes Gama (1793-1852). Despite being very difficult to define the nature of the political projects advocated by each group, which expressed their ideas through the press, it is possible to identify the defense of two different kinds of sovereignty. For the first party, the notion of national sovereignty was the key principle that should organize the political institutions. The second party, which cannot be roughly defined as absolutist, still considered monarchic sovereignty one of the most important organizing principles of society.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) The same Independence: the public performance of a unitarian partisan (Pernambuco, 1822-1823)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-11-04) FELDMAN, ArielThis article analyzes the public performance of the monk Miguel do Sacramento Lopes Gama in the periodic press between 1822 and 1823. The compositions of monk Miguel intended to construct the ideology that - since the unity of the Portuguese-Brazilian kingdom was broken - the sovereignty needed to pass to a new political unit, Brazil. Known in the Northern provinces as Rio de Janeiro's Project, this ideology was the basis of a conception of nation, foreseeing very reduced provincial powers if compared to the previous period - the legality of the "vintista" constitutionalism.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Comparação entre métodos para determinar o período anterior à interferência de plantas daninhas em feijoeiros com distintos tipos de hábitos de crescimento(2014-12) PARREIRA, Mariana Casari; ALVES, Pedro Luis da Costa Aguiar; LEMOS, Leandro Borges; PORTUGAL, João Martim deBeans grain productivity may be reduced by up to 80% and, therefore, knowing the proper time to control weeds becomes fundamental, his research was conducted in order to determine the period prior to interference (PPI) on bean cultivars of different types' plant growth through distinct approaches: arbitrary level of 5% productivity loss; tolerance level (TL), and the Weed Period Prior to Economic Loss (WEEPPEL). Experimental treatments were constituted of ten periods of coexistence, periods of the crop with the weeds: 0-7; 0-14; 0-21; 0-28; 0-35; 0-42; 0-49;0-56; 0-97 (harvesting) days after emergency (DAE), and a control plot, weed free for the entire period. The experimental design was of the Random Block Design, with four replications. PPI was obtained in all of the different approaches, and the bean plant type II with indeterminate growth had the lowest times of coexistence.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Periods of weed interference on transgenic cotton IMACD 6001LL(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-06) PARREIRA, Mariana Casari; BRESSANIN, Fernanda Nunes; ALVES, Pedro Luis da Costa Aguiar; SILVA, Marcos Paulo daThe objective of this study was to determine the periods of weed interference and its impact on productivity of cotton 'IMACD 6001LL'. The experiment was conducted in Jaboticabal, São Paulo, the second crop in 2011 and consisted of two treatment groups: the first culture remained free of competing weeds since of emergence up different periods of its development: (0-15 , 0-25, 0-35, 0-45, 0-55, 0-65, 0-75 and 0-183 days - harvest). In the second treatment group was held to the contrary: the crop was in harmony with the weeds since of emergence up to the same stages of development described above. The treatments were arranged in a randomized block design in four replications. During these periods was evaluated dry matter accumulation by weeds. The cotton yield data were subjected to regression analysis and resulting in a CPWC of 35 DAE, the CPWR was 133 DAE and .The weed community was composed mainly of Raphanus raphanistrum, Amaranthus spp., Cyperus rotundus, Alternanthera tenella and Eleusine indica. Living with this community throughout the cycle resulted in reduction almost 85% in cotton yield.
